"Like father, like daughter."

Elsie's life growing up was normal. Really, it was. She was born into a middle class family. Her mother is a school teacher while her father is a cop. Surprising, right? Not to mention that her father is a State Trooper. Since the day she was born, Elsie has been a "daddy's girl". She grew up wearing frilly dresses, her hair in pigtails, and cute bows. She was a happy girl and never shown signs of "rebellion". That is, until she turned 13. Elsie had just started the 7th grade. In the 7th grade, she drew the wrong kind of attention. Since her father was a cop, her new friends thought they could get away with a lot. So they tried it out. At first it was just stealing little things. Before she knew it, Elsie was stealing from her parents, smoking pot, and breaking into places. It didn't take long for her parents to find out and for her to get caught. She promised her parents to never do it again, but of course that was a lie. To try to help their daughter, they put her in the "Beyond Scared Straight" program. The program helped her for a few months, but she reverted to her old ways. Soon after, Elsie was sent to jail on account of Breaking and Entering with aggravated assault. Don't let this fool you, Elsie's a nice chick. She's laid back, cool, and optimistic. But just because she is like this, her bite and bark are equally as strong. Elsie has a number of tattoos, a nose ring, and a lip ring as well as earrings. Elsie went to jail for two years. That sums up the scars on her back and sides.

Against her own decisions, Elsie's parents signed her up. They think that this competition can keep their little girl out of some trouble. Of course, they know she's still going to get into some but at least she's on an island and not let loose on the town. They think the competition will be good for her since she loves money and she will have to work with others. They want her to make new, better friends and hopefully find something more. They honestly just want their little girl back and this was their last option. Plus, the brochure made the place look nice and her parents need a break from her. Her parents were on the show when it first aired. Remember that delinquent guy and the stuck up princess? Meet their offspring.

History:

I grew up with my grandma, my mom cheated on my father, and ran away with her lover. I still am not sure where she is, and havent seen her since I was 12. My father then got into drugs, and alcohol. He wasnt stable, and my grandma took me away when he was sent to jail, for robbing a liquor store, and selling drugs. Rather then that my life has been great, I was never bullied at school. I have great friends, my grandma is still doing amazing!

Mel is the motherly figure in her group of friends. Well, the cool motherly figure, since she is the person that will let you do stupid stuff but will always be there to catch you when you almost stumble in your heels because you got hammered. Basically, the girl is that individual that takes one for the group and, on a wild night out drinking, she orders a bottle of water. Well, she is underage, this meaning that Melanie is someone responsible, who knows her limits and stays within them. When it comes down to succeeding in something she set her mind on, however, the girl completely forgets the definition of boundaries, as she is someone burning with passion to come out on top in life. She is an ambitious woman, who can and does take care of herself.

This passion of her certainly shows through in regards to the community work she participates in, since Mel is pretty much a social justice activist, who will call you out if you say something offensive. The problem is that she can go overboard in her attempts to fight for equal rights, as a result coming off as nitpicky and uptight. Which she is! The problem with the girl is that she doesn't understand jokes due to having no sense of humor whatsoever. Thus, it's better if those around her are weary of what they say, unless they wish to receive a whiplash.​

Biography


Melanie was born in a very average family and is an only child. Her mother and father divorced when she was around the age of 5, and then the prior was granted full custody. So, basically, Mel has spent most of her conscious life living together with solely her mum, though the girl can't and won't complain, seeing as her parent is an exceptional woman in her eyes.


Most of us, when we were little, looked up to our mothers as superheroes. Well, Melanie has retained this view to this day and is very grateful for all that her dear mama has taught her - from the importance of standing up for yourself to simple things like how to take care of your appearance. The girl's admiration towards her mum is also strengthened by the fact that the woman was able to bring up her daughter single-handedly, without any assistance or outside help. And, honestly, she did a wonderful job, which resulted in an ambitious and independent young lady with many great aspirations that never wavered, despite the fact that Mel is the type of person to go out with friends a lot... like, a lot a lot.


It was probably due to these set goals that Melanie always wanted something more out of her life and thus constantly searched for opportunities to aid herself as well as her mother. Hence, when she stumbled across "Total Drama Island", she took it as such.

Born to Eleanor Montgomery and Andrew "Arno" de la Rocha a year after they married, Harris grew up knowing fame and money came to him no matter what. He moved around a lot, which led to absolutely no friends outside of the band or the crew, and he wasn't really able to form relationships with people his age. From the age of seven, he began to learn how to play guitar and piano, and was instructed in classical music by a professional teacher, and was taught how to "snazz" it up a bit by his dad's band.


After his parents' divorce roughly a year ago, Harris was finally allowed to go to a regular school. However, people began to come up to him, trying to be his friend simply because of who his father was. He decided to drop out of that school and attended something online, deciding it would be in his best interests to make a name for himself instead of having people know him as his father's son.

He enjoys playing guitar and singing at random times, cheering people up, and just having a good time. He likes lots of colours, which is displayed in the shoelaces he wears for his boots. The one thing he absolutely adores is his family, and he will fight to the end for them. He enjoys meeting people, and getting to learn new things.

Dislikes

Harris cannot stand liars or people that are simply looking out for themselves. Anyone selfish or completely self-absorbed is someone he most definitely does not want to associate himself with, because he knows how easily people can use him. He also dislikes any food that is green, and while he understands this is an irrational dislike, he cannot stand looking at them.

Silver was raised in moving different locations always on the go. She was home schooled and spent most her childhood playing with animals and learning about the wild. Her family is filled with Scientist and researchers so she still is quite brilliant. She tends to lack the ability to communicate with normal human beings and treats them sometimes like she does animals, not realizing that they are slightly different.

For the heck of it. She happened to be in america at the time and saw the ad. Desiring to meet new people and have some fun, she did a video. She never thought she would actually get in, but AWESOME!
