Fantasy Tomorrow Never Comes (Zombie Apocalypse) [Always Accepting]

Now back outside, Tim saw a 'fresh' group of zombies roaming towards a public park. The boy happily joined them. He took a quick look at his watch and saw a nasty scratch on its face.

"Darn it! I need to stop helping people."

Tim and the zombies reached the park. There was an old children's play ground. It was all rusted with jagged edges sticking out but Timmy couldn't help himself. He leaped on the swigs and swung back and forth. He was a child again!

Elizabeth rubbed her temples. "BOYS!" She called, "Now, why don't we learn to play nice?" She said, as Lexi got her rifle ready. "All of you stop before my sister blows your heads off."

Carter was a little whiles away from the girls, but close enough to hear them. He poked his head up. Necro hopped onto a huge rock nearby and stared in their direction. Neither liked the sound of more people. Carter called to them "But what's the fun in playing nice!?" He called. Necro punched him in the back of the head, but the girls just smiled at them.

"...a'ight, let's go! Let's go!"

Snapping out of his daze, Xi ran over frantically. Reaching into his pocket, he realized he didn't have his bandages with him anymore. Groaning, he pulled out a rather dingy hankerchief instead, quickly tying it tightly around the wound to stop the bleeding at least. Xi's facial expression showed he was calm, though his hands were shaky. It was obvious that he was terrified for his life and his friend's life, his hand shivering as he took off his jacket and placed it against Go's neck. The kid was already out cold, and if they didn't find somewhere to treat him, not even Xi could've helped. Chess was already in a bad mood from all of it, kicking the gun up and catching it as it was thrown in her direction. Did they really want to follow this kid?

"... we're leaving."

"We're following the guy."

Jeson this time told the declarative order, and Xi nodded, slightly strugging to help keep Go up as they moved in the same direction of Necro. But it was such a
stupid idea, why would they...

Chess audibly sighed once more, following after his teammates. If they were to die, it wasn't their fault, is what Chess kept trying to insist to themselves. Jeson and Xi were both helping carry there unconscious teammate. Jeson carried the lower half and body, while Xi carried the upper half and brought pressure among Go's neck, both talking among themselves in panic.

"Aah, what do we do if he doesn't wake up?"

"Xi, dear, if you panic we're all going to die."

"That makes it worrrssstt!"

"It's fine, just hurry up and get him to flatland. SORRY LADIES, HAVE AN INJURED FRIEND TO DEAL WITH."

Chess really didn't want to follow after Necro. After that whole ordeal, the only thing that could've meant was a trap, or he was directing it to the curly-haired male and not them. There was only so far the human heart could go in this time, and they definitely didn't want to get shot right there after that whole ordeal. Chess picked up Go's sheathed katana off the ground, unsheathing it for the purpose of the zombies that threatened to follow. As one pounced once it gained a reasonable distance, they slashed down the sword, rather clumsily since they have never used the weapon themselves, so they assumed that using it like a baseball bat would work here. It cut deep into the flesh of the zombie, causing it to stumble before crumbling before Chess withdrew the weapon and continued to follow after their men. Shooting would be a horrible idea at this time, so they have to resort to melee.

"Hush little zombie don't you cry

Timmy's gonna sing you a lullaby

And if that lullaby's ain't right

Timmy's gonna give you a foot to bite

And if that foot doesn't taste very good

Timmy's gonna whack you with a piece of wood

And if you ever try to bite me dead

Timmy's gonna chop off your zombie head"

Tim Blank sang as he joyfully climbed the monkey bars.

Necro kept running, ignoring the single man, who had stopped. Lazy bastards died. He ran until he reached an abandoned library. He was sure there wouldn't be threats here. He didn't wait for the team either as he ran in and locked the doors. He could, of course, let them in. Who knows, maybe they were trying to help. But, at the same time, with in injured man they'd die if he didn't let them in. He pondered it as they grew closer @The Hidden Kracken @Entarriance

Elizabeth and Lexi walked off, "Ya know, if those boys would've waited a few minutes, I could be checked their friend," the older one muttered while Lexi just rolled her eyes. "We need to find a place to rest," The younger girl said, finally lowering the mask. She took a sip of water. "I agree, but I don't see any place that actually looks safe enough."

Carter could see that

@The Hidden Kracken[/URL] @Entarriance
Carter was only a second behind Necro. He wanted his damn machete! He tried the front doors. locked. He tried the back doors. "Fuckin' Zombies!" Carter ran to the front and began banging on the door. "Dude just let me in!" "I don't really care if you're injured, we have a greater chance of surviving if we stick together!!!!!!" Carter could tell that Necro didn't want his companionship, so he grabbed a brick and threw it at one of the zombies. It fell. He charged at one and hit it with a flying roundhouse, its head flew off. Carter brawled with the zombies until each and every one of them were taken down. He laid down on his back and looked at the door. "Aye! Let me in or nah?" Was all he said before he began knocking again.

"... do you think he ran in there?"

BOOM. Click!

"... I think he locked the door."

"He did."

Chess finally caught up to the rest of his group, who have seemed to stop nearby a library. Someone else was loud and making a huge racket, which probably would've been attracting more zombies.

"Sweetheart, you really need to calm down..."

"Hey, uh, sorry about earlier... whoever is in there."

Xi, on the other hand, managed to regain his composure. He was affected by shock so heavily earlier, all he could do was barely comply to what Chess was ordering. Taking s deep breath with Go still pressed to his chest, he spoke as gently as he could do in opposition to the boy's screaming next to him.

"... hi. My alias is Xiangqi, or just Xi, really. My dad was a surgeon, and he spent his life trying to cure his love, my mom, of a disease she had after I was born, I was about 1 week old, and she was hospitalized most of my childhood. My dad was usually busy, and I didn't see him around a lot. But when I did, he taught me the stuff that he learned, in hopes maybe one day I can help my mom recover. And, that didn't happen."

Xi's voice quieted down a little, and even Chess averted their gaze, as in respect, though he kept close watch any any approaching zombies.

"... I'm really good with first aid. You, you saw it, yeah, my friend is kind of, out of it. The thing is, you're kind of injured too, you know? I'm sorry we came off on the wrong foot... but we need shelter. If you don't let us in, I guess that's cool too, we can find something else."

"Xi.. You know we..."

"We aren't breaking into the library, Go needs treatment fast,"

he looked at the tired man lying on the ground and rolled his eyes. He unlocked the door and let the guy in. This was becoming too much of a hassle. Why today, his head began to hurt.

Timmy, now finished playing in the park, observed a zombie who hand tripped over the slides, knocking its brains out, onto the cigarette butt filled sand. The boy had taken out his notebook and was drawing a detailed sketch of the dead zombie. He took his time outlining the blood and gore to get the consistency correct. Finishing up, he put his notebook back into his pocket and scampered towards the horde to catch up. The teenager continued on his unknown journey.

The boys sorry he close to home. He missed his parents as well. They never really were able to care for him like they wanted to. He opened the door again and let the group in, nodding as each passed. Maybe... He could use some healing. Then he'd be on his way for sure. He didn't need dragging down.

Carter was actually very fit. Just putting that out there. He looked around in the library and skimmed through the books after thanking Necro. He pulled out a book on first aid and told Necro to sit down next to him. "Sorry about what happened back there. I didn't mean to harm you" Carter had finished up the work on the ear and expected Necro to respond. He handed him a pen and some paper from his satchel. "This is how we will communicate." He said. He figured that the man was mute, something that was pretty common in the area. His older brother (God bless all souls) was mute, and they had created their own language based on different hand signs for different things. Necro looked up at Carter and handed him back the paper. Carter set the paper next to Necro and got up. "I'm going to get some books on self defense... just write down any books you want me to get while I'm up."

Xi nodded his head with a slightly melancholic smile on his face. After all, he did just have to relive part of his life to get in.

"...haha, thanks. Uh, if you don't mind, do you have my bandages? I want to patch up my friend first since he's already out cold. And then I'll get to you, I promise!"

Jeson's light coloured jacket had dark speckles of red on it as he helped lower Go's body to the ground, it was a flat surface, that was good, and Go appeared to be breathing. They stopped enough of the bleeding for his life to be extended a little longer, but it was obvious if they didn't do anything that none of that would mean anything. Sitting down on the ground, Xi propped Go's arm up, looking towards the wound.

"Hey, Chess, can you.."

Before finishing the sentence, Xi felt something sharp land very close to his leg, as he was sitting with his legs crossed on the ground. Taking it, it seems like our green haired friend has grown used to it by now, and at least Chess understood enough to hand... Er... throw him a knife. Picking it up, it was a rather shabby knife, it was more like a Swiss Army knife, but it appeared a little dulled at the edges, as if it's seen it's days. Carefully looking into the wound, using the slowly dying sunlight as his only sources for light, Xi saw something shine. Glad that his friend was asleep for this, he carefully removed the bullet from his friends arm, and of course, Xi wasn't a professional. He ended up opening the wound a little more, which began to bleed. Though it was out, and that's what mattered.

Meanwhile, Jeson had wandered to Necro. While he wasn't particularly fond of the hostage taker, (Jeson kept his distance, it was obvious he was being careful), he still was a rather social and humane guy.

"...you haven't uttered a word. Hey, uh, can you talk?"

Carter returned with the first aid books and what Necro had asked for. He saw the group sitting in the Library lobby and looked puzzled. He sat down with the medic of the group and they talked about how Carter patched up Necro's ear. The medic was very impressed, and he should be. As the youngest in the group, Carter had a lot to prove to everyone. Carter looked over to Necro and thought of his brother. "When we know for sure that everyone is Ok, we should return to town, at least the townsfolk can help us if zombies creep in. If it's just going to be us, then we are screwed." "Necro, I respect your decision to be alone... and you're all patched up, so you can go on." "I'm going to go find those girls, they look like they know where they're going." He turned to the group. "As for you guys, I guess just get my brother and watch him while I go on my little quest. Its the only favor I ask of you before I go" He returned to help the medic

Timmy's tried eyes drooped slightly. He need some rest. In front of him was a middle school with one of its walls broken in by a semi-truck. Tim squeezed inside the school but not before waving goodbye to his zombie companions. The cafeteria was littered with trash and bloody zombie parts. Searching for the kitchen, Tim saw a dead student on the ground with his torso torn open. The food pantry was bare with only a few empty bean cans lying on the floor. The boy looked behind a shelf and saw one last can of unopened tuna. Taking the can with him, he searched for a place to sleep

Necro looked up and signed, then shook his head. He was just waiting for the question to pop up. It always did. He stood up and whispered into the boys ear. All that came out was an eerie, breathy moan. He walked over to the injured boy and dropped a little strip of bandages before going back to his spot. He shook his head at the younger boy and lay back. He wasn't going anywhere. Well, not yet at least.

Nodding his head as Necro walked past, Xi carefully attended to Go's wounds, managing to patch up the bleeding nicely. He was still unconscious and he probably was going to wake up groggy, but hey, he was alive. Pulling out an herb from his jacket, he got up and tore it up into smaller bits, similar to tea leaves.

"Hey, Chess, can yo-"

Again, before being able to finish his sentence, something hard and metallic wacked against Xi's head, making a swishing sound. Everyone had their own metal flask, but it was obvious Go's was empty. He was shot, and his flask ended up getting hit as well through his bag, causing a leak. Risking his own water, Xi dropped the herbs into his flask, shaking it up among the water. He, seemed like he knew what he was doing.

Chess was up against the window of the library, shining their revolver using their sleeve. It was just reloaded and everything, and Chess had to make sure to not get into a hostage situation again. They could ditch their teammates any time, but considering their variety of skills, it would've been a bad idea to get separated now. But from what they could tell, looking over to Carter, Chess' original idea of potentially recruiting Necro seemed to fly out the window. It was a relatable experience, not wanting to be dragged down by someone.

Jeson didn't seem all too surprised by the low breathy moan from Necro, before he dropped of bandages and sat in the corner. Walking just slightly closer to where he was, Jeson awkwardly grinned, scratching the back of his head.

"I see you're a pretty indifferent guy. Hey, you know, my younger brother was deaf. Not mute, but you know, losing one of your senses really takes something out on you. I, have no idea how that feels, and I'd don't think I ever will. But, hey, we've all had a bit of a rough time before all this crap happened. So, just so you don't think we're absolute freaks, uh, let me introduce some people. You already know Xi, the walking plant over there. I go by Jeson Mor, or just Jeson. Parents both were celebrities. Both cheated on each other constantly, one died in a paparazzi chase, and I got a half-brother who was deaf about a year after. You might have gotten along with him. The injured red head over there is Go. He's pretty, violent, and not on the smart side of things. But he's a reliable guy. He grew up as, um, an accident I guess, and had around 7 siblings. He lived in an awful neighborhood , you know, so he kind of grew up violent. He needed to defend his family, and get food somehow. And oh boy..."

Looking over to the window, Chess was staring out, as if contemplating something. Jeson wasn't too sure why he was talking to the mute kid, but if he was mute and alone and literally lacked capabilities to communicate with someone, he'd be pretty up for some random stranger just telling him about some people.

"... we call her Chess. Yeah, she's a girl, surprising isn't it? Uh, I don't know much about what happened, but I know that when Chess was born, her parents immediately traded her off to another organization. She grew up with a gun as a teething toy and having to help some pretty illegal stuff happen. Chess, eh, she's a jerk. Don't tell her I said that, but she is. I'm pretty sure that'd the quality that made her such a good leader, though , don't get me wrong. "

Jeson nervously scratched the back of his head, and he sat a little way from Necro. Xi was helping Go... Well, unconscious Go drink down an odd liquid using his own water and a few herbs. Using the herbs he knew, it was very similar to an energy drink, and it was supposed to provide some energy for Go when he woke up due to such heavy blood loss. In fact, the herb tasted so painfully sweet it was kind of disgusting. Again, thank god he was asleep.

"So, now you know the freak squad. Congrats."

The words 'We are the really monsters' was spelled out in blood over the school lockers. Tim paid no heed to the graffiti since he had seen many other walls written in blood. Below the blood stained lockers lay the body of a teacher. The back of his head had been blow apart. Another wall read 'God will not forgive this sin'. Another body of a teacher lay dead with a gunshot wound. Even further down the hall, there was another dead teacher and a sentence above the body. 'We will burn in Hell'.

The boy saw the door to the principles office with a paper taped on reading 'All students are not allowed admittance except with permission by faculty only'. Tim gazed inside. A row of stainless steel tables, from the cafeteria, covered the room. On the tables lay chopped up pieces of student remains. A cleaver was sticking out of an arm. Blood covered the floor. Deeper in the room, Tim Blank saw the body of a dead principle. In her hand lay a revolver she had used on herself and the others. Above her were the words, 'Child Killer'. Tim walked out of the room not wanting to see anymore death.

After awhile of walking around, they girls found an empty house. After making sure they were alone, and baracading the door and broken windows', they finally began to relax again. Lexi had fallen asleep on the couch a few moments after she sat down. Not taking her medicine makes her tired. They would have to find a pharmacy tomorrow. Elizabeth searched for anything that was useful, since she didn't find much the last place they looked. She yawned after a bit and found a bed room, where she collapsed on the bed and fell alseep quickly too.

(Gtg)

The gym was full of cots blanketing the wood floor. Tim chose one and sat down. he took out his knife and opened his can of tuna fish. It tasted expired but that had never stopped Tim. He gobbled up his supper and lay on the cot. Covered in zombie intestines and his head injury still bleeding, the boy closed his eyes and slept in tranquility.

{Good night}

As Carter looked around, he noticed none of the people paid him much attention. He walked back up the stairs and cleared out a space on a table. He sat down and made himself comfortable. He wondered about Kyle, and if he had to double up on chores. He turned to Necro once again and saw he was doodling on one of the pages. He looked at the group as they talked to one another. That's when he got up and sat down next to the purple haired one that was talking to Necro.

He didn't exactly know WHY this guy was telling him all the useless stuff that he would obviously never want to know anyway, but... It was actually kind of nice. He'd been alone so long, actually making some form of communication with another LIVING thing wasn't too bad. So he just nodded his head along with the guy's words. As the curly haired guy walked over, he got an uneasy feeling like they were being watched. He tapped the purple haired kid. He hated not being able to talk. The feeling wasn't letting up and he began to get genuinely worried. He made some weird flailing action and pointed to all the windows, which weren't boarded up. They were too vulnerable here.

"Damn, none here either!" Elizabeth groaned as she walked out of of a small drug store. Lexi stood up from where she was and followed her older sister. "Well, where now?" She asked. "Do you think you could hold out until we get to the pharmacy, the one where you normally pick them up?" Lexi hesitated, but nodded. Elizabeth sighed, and headed back in the direction where they met the groups of boys. They didn't really ant to meet them again, but if Elizabeth saw them, she'd ask for a little help. Neither one wanted to, but it was nessesary at the moment.

No more time for dreaming or you'll windup undead

So you got to wake up, baby, there are zombies wandering."

Timmy hummed his tune as he lifted his well-rested body out of the surprisingly comfortable cot.
