Might have steampunk elements, it has medieval setting, japanese settings, norse, Russian, Chinese, Indian, mythological, scientific, undead, egyptians and the like.I call it what it is. It’s steampunk fantasy. just like there's medieval fantasy. it is what it is.
you know steam punk is an era. not a region, religion, or idea, right? there is nothing "just fantasy". That's waaaaaaay too broad which is why there's always a subcategory with it. there's Sci-fi Fantasy (which this rp looks to be or even Start Wars). There's Steampunk Fantasy (similar to fullmetal alchemist). Medieval Fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Narnia, etc.). I get the whole "don't be defined by labels" thought process but entire libraries use labels to organize their books and content. look up fantasy you gonna get a lot of results. narrowing it down helps those in what you're searching for and as a writer it helps keep you grounded in what type of realm of fantasy you are trying to adhere to.Might have steampunk elements, it has medieval setting, japanese settings, norse, Russian, Chinese, Indian, mythological, scientific, undead, egyptians and the like.
It's just fantasy, because they're ain't no other label that is broad enough to encompass what Warhammer, 40k or fantasy, is.
That's why iz like it so much, even if I love Fantasy better then 40k.

dude. 1. you started this. 2. you need to calm down on your hostility. you think of it as an argument i think of it as a debate. you being rude and sour and lashing out is what's making this convo go sour. if anyone should be worked up it's me. i feel the problem stems deeper and if you want to talk about it or something then we can take it to inbox. but don't start that rude sht. it's not wanted and not appreciated.I will stop here, I will not argue with you, as I will only end up with a foul temper. Ain't got anything to do if your right or wrong, I've got a long night ahead of me and right now I don't need to be worked up like this. Conversation ends here.

Did the watchers ever work together? Did they know they would be sealed off? I’d like to know a little more back story on this cause I don’t have very much to go off of as is atmThe Watchers weren't sealed at the same time as a lot of energy and even sacrifices were made in order to make them into Watchers. It doesn't necessarily have to be out of free-will that they were made into a Watcher either.
It’s more to figure out what era the person is from. I got someone that could be from the medieval era as well as someone that is from around our current time as well. Since the year 3011 is super far ahead it leaves a lot of room. The whole sealing thing seems like it’s not something that can be completely made up be all of the individual watcher authors and changed each time. It seems like it might be something important to the plot or at least a big historical event. It’s why I need to know that way no one has to worry about getting it wrong and having to rewrite it later.Guess you could go with however old you want, figure out the age later. Though, you’d probably use the age to determine the face claim, so that’s what ya waitin’ for, ain’t it?
I was working on that part. It's now up in the spoiler of the main thread. There's a bit of the background of the Watchers.Did the watchers ever work together? Did they know they would be sealed off?
