i'm personally not a HUGE fan of Meiji era armor. Especially, since it's the future. But that's also why I asked my question. It'd make sense if that's when our characters were sealed was around that time. If that was the case then I'd be all for that outfit minus the shoulder canons cause that's just impractical. Hopefully, we get an answer soon so I can finish up my character sheet.
Think I oughta go with him?
sorry, lol. it's just my style is always realism. even in fantasy settings because my roots go back to Sci-fi when i first started writing and it's something I've always done. that's why i said it's not directly appealing to me, personally.Pfff, this is techno samurai, don’t need to be practical or realistic, just need to look cool.
I love the armor style, so imma go with that kind of character.
don't know what imperium is the only time i've seen that word is when it was a song by a band.Sounds like an imperium fanboy, jk, lol.
Either way, I need to figure out which one to use....
Trust me, better you don’t know.don't know what imperium is the only time i've seen that word is when it was a song by a band.
but you'll see how rooted in sci-fi i am when you see my character's weapon.
pretty sure it's not that bad.Trust me, better you don’t know.
Ah. I know of Warhammer. And yeah, there’s quite a bit of communities that share those two traits. But is any of that rooted in realism? Otherwise I don’t fully understand the comparison. :/The lore is deep, the fandom....toxic.
I’m referring to warhammer 40k, btw, it’s where me profile pics from. Well, Dawn of War 2, a video game, but it’s in the same setting.
Well I’m not talking about life lol. I’m talking about structure. Stories dont have to go deep to have structure. I don’t care for super deep worlds cause it often gets lost or ends up getting misinterpreted. Like Star Wars. (The only example I can think up off the top of my head). I can think of tons of smaller worlds that are either just as fleshes out or better because of how good the author is at portraying their world to their audience.Trust me when I say, it seems like a bunch of space and magic, but once you even touch the tip of the lore, it gets a hella a lot deeper then even Star Trek.
Now who sounds like a fanboy lol. And it’s a steam punk fantasy. By the sounds of it.Tsk, tsk, this ain’t no normal fantasy setting. This ones got steam tanks and hell blasters and bear cavalry and high elf marines and dwarves gyrocopters and organ guns, not to mention the demi griffin knights and hammers and ogres wielding scrap shooting cannons.
Don’t taint the warhammer fantasy name with the words of “generic”. Takes ever fantasy trope and turns it to 100 and adds gunpowder to the result!
