Fantasy To Reset the World (Accepting Again)

Roku nodded her head and rubbed her chin, "I agree with Kira on this, I mean you want to be a paladin but, your working towards destroying the current order? Seems dumb..." She went up to Noah and flicked his forehead while giggling slightly. "Anyway Knight, Paladin it's all the same, people in heavy sets of armor riding horses clad in armor fighting the same people generally over nothing." Roku's comment was how wars seemed to be over nothing though she felt theirs was a huge difference between as they were freeing an bunch of different races from oppression.

Roku looked at the sudden newcomer and giggled again, "This place seems far more welcoming than I thought, hello I am Roku the dragonblood and these are my friends. Rok the Berserker, Noah the Squire and Kira of the Dark Flames. We're just considering joining the army here, can you lead us to the Tower of Ravens?" Roku's eyes were still glowing purple during this entire exchange as her magic was adjusting and bubbling inside her and leaking out from her against her knowledge.

Lana placed her hands behind her head listening to the words of her comrades. "Yes, it will give us time to grow some more trust between one another." She smiled slightly as they approached another village. "Let's see if we can get something here...."

Lana began to head into the village unopposed as a blacksmith working upon a outdoor forge hammering away upon metal armor caught her eye. She walked towards him and up near the forge catching the human males attention, "Excuse me sir, I would like to know if I could buy some armor?" She bowed her head politely and the man noticed the burnt in markings upon her wrists, he ran a hand over his chin scratching his beard slightly.

He looked at the other members of her group doing the same motion again, "Do you have gold?" He asked, his voice rough and weathered. Lana nodded pulling out her pouch of money. The man nodded and immediately moved closer to her examining her body for a few seconds, "I've got a set of leather armor I can adjust to you easily elf, do you have a weapon?"

Lana pulled the dagger from her hip that the blacksmith took and looked over, he then immediately tossed the dagger into a pile of scrap metal. "That could barely cut through cloth let alone other armor, I'll throw in two daggers and the armor for six hundred gold?"

Lana was surprised the last time she had asked anyone to make her something she hadn't even been considered but, she didn't have six hundred. "I've only got three hundred or so..." She said before the blacksmith nodded, "Three hundred then," he took her pouch then began heading inside the shop gesturing towards them. "Come lets see if we get ya set up and on your way." Lana followed the blacksmith as another elfin woman stepped out from the shop carrying a bundle of blankets that were moving. Lana noticed a similar mark upon the woman's neck that was faded but, looked similar to the one on her neck, the sounds of crying came from the blankets as the woman began to quiet a child.

The blacksmith let them inside as the Elfin woman sat upon the outside cradling the child. "My wife," the blacksmith stated, "Or well my wife in feeling, not that any church would marry us." He shook his head and began to make a set suit of hardened leather armor to Lana's size as Lana looked at the others. "I don't know why there aren't many like him?" The blacksmith let out a chuckle that seemed almost sad in a way, "Because, thats the way it is. People who believe that things should change and desire it remain quiet for fear over the authorities, stepping upon them as well. There are human slaves too, just that they are created from making ones disapproval too loud." He continued to work while Lana watched lost in thought over everything.

Unlike the others whom entered the inside of the blacksmith, Mark decided to stay outside. He didn't want to let his group-mates down by making them buy weapons or armor for him. His own clothes and weapon satisfied him enough, so he decided to stay put for now.

Mark's attention was caught by a strange old woman in a purple tent, who appears to be gesturing the half-elf to come in. "Pssst, boy, come closer, come closer." she whispered, getting the attention of Mark. It wouldn't hurt to come inside, would it? He can fight back if anything bad happens.

He came inside the tent, it was a bit dark but there was small dim lights coming off from small lamps. There appeared to be bookshelves with different labels on them, "Fire", "Water", "Air". There was also wands and mysterious things that was on the sides. In the middle of the room was a small desk and a seemingly glowing crystal ball. The old woman sat down and gestured him to do the same. The woman began chanting with her eyes closed, it was a bit strange for Mark, but he deduced the place to be some kind of magic tent where people tell you the future. "Your name is... Mark Ray Phantasmo, half-elf is it or is it not?" the woman suddenly spoke, as the crystal orb began to shine a bit more brighter. Surprised, but not too much, he replies "W-well... Yeah". The old woman began chanting again, before speaking in the right tone. "I've seen your future, I've seen what your friends and you will do. Such dark, dark visions I can see. So sad and lonely, don't you agree?" said the woman, who appeared to have stopped chanting. The crystal ball now became dim like the lights that lit this room. "W-What... does t-that mean...?" the boy asked, he was confused about what she was saying, it appeared to be a riddle or even a question.

"Now that I've told you your future, 10 gold please." the old woman said, putting out her hand into the desk. "B-But I didn't... Oh well..." Mark was tricked and forced to pay, although he didn't really want his future to be revealed, he took the remaining 10 gold from his small pouch and handed it over to the woman. "Thank you, have a nice day, now skedaddle!" she said forcefully, as she pushed him out of the tent. "W... What was that all about..." Mark said. As he turned to the location of the tent, it seemed to be not there anymore, strange, but he didn't really pay attention to it. He returned back to the area he was supposed to stand-by whilst the group buys their gear. He sighed before watching the people slowly pass by.

Sierra's guess was confirmed, these people really are going to join the army. It was a bit worrying though, seeing as they seemed to have just arrived in the kingdom. Judging by their lack of direction of the tower, her second guess about them being new to the kingdom has been confirmed by half. The woman who appears to be the leader of the group is particularly interesting. Her eyes appeared to be glowing, this is rare for her to see as her tutor said that people who have glowing eyes may have a high capacity and capability of using magic even in this time where magic is quite abundant.

She shakes her head, erasing the useless thoughts that may disturb her as she faces the group again. "Ah. I see. Well, follow me." she gestured for them to follow, as the girl brings them to a path which leaded up to a large tower, which in turn has a gate on the front.

A human guard approached her and interacts, "Hey there, Ms. Sierra, finally up to the task of joining the military force?". "I'm afraid not, these people wanted to go here and they were considering joining the army. I was only here to show them the way." she replied, looking at the group. "Alright then. But first, may I ask your identifications? We'll need to look if you are somehow involved in any illegal activities, we can't just let bandits or even those with planned punishments joining the army." the guard said. The second guard alerted a woman who appears to be writing down simple details about the group's appearances.

"Ow..."' Noah let out while rubbing his forehead, as Roku gave him a little flick on it. "I'm aware of how stupid it sounds... But, the thought of eventually becoming a paladin was what kept me going while i was traveling on my own. It's also what motivated me to finally leave Ankrath... So, even though what we're doing isn't very knightly, having my previous goal in mind still gives me strength." He spoke, switching his eyes between Kira and the girl.

The younger boy held his gaze locked onto Noah for a moment after hearing his explanation, but soon focused back on the path before them, seeing as there was another female heading their way. She greeted the group, after which Roku introduced them once more, although this time giving the older male the title of squire.

"...You know, knight does have a better ring to it, stick with it." Noah quietly admitted, turning his head to their leader while still having his eyes placed on the girl before them.

Kira just shook his head at the male, annoyance plastered onto his face.

As they proceeded with following the newcomer, said person was approached by a guard, who eventually asked the group for their identification in order to ensure that they didn't have a record.

This caused Noah to gulp, moving his eyes once again onto Roku.
Ah, right. It would've been counterproductive for Seoga if the other kingdoms were to be informed of what happened. They shouldn't have anything on us.

Everyle didn't buy anything except for an arrow refill and some throwing knives. He used the grindstone to sharpen his blades. He looked at the blacksmith and said, "This world is sad, out of all the people here, I envy every last one of you for your slave lives. Mine was probably the worst." After he said that, he turned his attention to the grinder and replaced his knife with his sword. He wasn't planning to say anything more about himself, for now, but he was true about this little bit. He had watched comrade after comrade die in front of his eyes on so called 'training' exercises. "I despise most humans because they flaunt their power and abuse it. They defend their wants far too strongly and sometimes call them needs. Yet, when faced with society, they feel powerless to stand up away from them, so pretend to stand up with them." Everyle said as he finished grinding his sword to a perfect sharpness. Then he walked away and waited.

"I hope my office is untouched. We do also have a lot to drop off too," Arthur said as he walked up to a building on the other side of the street from the place Roku and her gang were applying. Arthur pulled out a key and began fumbling with the lock as he began having a lot of twitching from the excitement of his new study time. He had obtained more than he had hoped.

"Master, why don't I do it?" Faeryl asked Arthur as he watched his father struggle to work his hands properly.

"No, no, you have the horses, go tie them up in the stable. And keep an eye on our precious information, I don't want to lose even a chip off the trinkets."

Faeryl sighed and walked over to the small stables and began unloading the four saddlebags worth of stuff and carrying it over towards the door. He set them down and watched Arthur drop the keys.

"Faeryl, I have them," Arthur said as he slowly bent down to take the keys.

Keline wished that she could buy some armor or something. She felt so useless with only a dagger beside her, compared to Lana's heavy armor and Everlyle's powerful bow. But she had been stupid and forgot to take any money with her, and she didn’t feel like asking the two elfs for any. She could always trade her medicines for something, but she had a feeling they might be useful later. Still, she was glad she came because she was enjoying the discussion they were having with the blacksmith. He was a nice man, and it filled her with hope that more people than just them believed in their cause.

“My elf friend is wrong,” she told the blacksmith after Everlyle had left. “You can’t say that most humans agree with the oppression of the elves and other people. It’s just that the ones who do are the loudest and most powerful. We have the numbers on our side, we just need to make people believe it is possible.”

When she walked outside, she noticed Mark had an expression of shock and confusion on his face. "Mark, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

@Lana Valentine @Silver Wolf @EXPMIRACLE

Lana retrieved the new armor and was given two new daggers that she placed upon her hip along with with a collection of throwing knives. She thanked the blacksmith for his kindness before continuing onward with everyone else. "I'm sure each slave has their own horror stories Everyle," Lana said her hands now spinning one of her new daggers in her hand. She pointed forward with it down the direction they were headed. "I feel like a real adventurer now, hopefully we can arrive to Ironwrath before we miss anything important again." She began to chew on her lip thinking again as they walked. "You seem troubled Mark something wrong?"

Roku couldn't help a little bit of giggling towards Noah's reaction to the altered title, "Make up your mind Noah," upon the person asking for identification she crossed her arms shaking her head. "We are Roku the dragonblooded, Rok the Berserker, Noah the Knight, and Kira of the Dark Flames. We wish to join the army." She said crossing her arms while the man nodded gesturing toward the tower door. "You may enter and speak to the captain." With that said they moved away allowing them all to continue.

Roku stopped just before entering while thinking for a bit moving away from the door she leaned against it, her eyes now glowing the brightest they have ever done before. Speaking in a far more serious voice then she ever had prior, "This should not be our path, I have a better idea." She took a few steps forward just as a sounds of drums began to thump all over. One of the guards began to approach them, "The King of Andor is preparing a public address and all must attend, it is being held within the central square."

Roku gestured forward and smiled seemingly returned to normal. "Looks like we've got to make a quick stop, to the square then." She began to climb back onto Rok so she could get a better viewing position upon the start of this address.

@BobbyW @Kel Vas

"My name is Ivari," Everyle said with a cold tone. "Don't confuse me with someone else." He was clearly not happy with that as his eyes narrowed. For him, his true identity should be kept an absolute secret. "And don't forget that we just ran into someone nice, once news spreads of the riots in the capital, we won't be well welcomed in this kingdom. So let's try not to interact with humans anymore than needed." He was grateful to find such a tolerable and understanding human, but he wasn't trusting of others. Even his own kind was someone he was suspicious of sometimes.

"Just give it to me," Faeryl growled after the drummers went by. He took the keys from Arthur's hands and unlocked the door very quickly and they shoved their valuables just inside before making their way to see the King's Speech.

Rok came to watch the small girl as the group began to follow her, this member of the owner-race did not show fear. As well, those they came to meet before the tower came to greet her by name. He never did truly pay attention to the nature of interactions, bringing him to question how they came to know the name of the female. Did the humans naturally know one another from appearance alone? Perhaps these two were acquainted beforehand? Or, just maybe the girl had done something that forced others to know her name? The giant shook away the thoughts, burying it with the all too common, as of late at least, 'Rok will learn'. As normal, it was Roku that spoke for the group, casually making her way through the conversation with ease. The guards instructed them to enter past the gates and through the door. It seems he would once more be required to wait outside, however he could at least follow them through the gates.

However, a sudden stop in her movements brought him to a halt. Eye glowing brightly, she declared a different path was to be had. Within a number of steps the sound of drums began, forcing the giant's attention to wonder. His ears did not catch the approaching guard, however he did note the breaker climbing upon him once more, as well her words. He was glad to know the new destination was to approach the sounds, as he wished to see what was occurring. Never before had he witnessed the source of these beats that echoed. Without much heed to Noah, Kira, or the other female who was with them, Rok began moving back towards the square. For years he had grown accustomed to listening solely to the beats of his step, tuning out all others. As such, he already came to enjoy this booming sound that echoed throughout the distance. "Kira," the giant now spoke, turning his head to face the individual as he walked, "What brings this sound?"

Arriving within the square, Rok came to look upon the masses of small-race who had appeared. It felt dangerous to even move amongst this count, in worry that he would bring disorder upon crushing an individual. Perhaps even within this horde there was the tiny-race which made movement further difficult to achieve.

"Why do small-race gather?" Rok now looked to Roku, confused, as by this point he knew that he missed something. With the crowd's voices hers would probably be the clearest to hear due to her location.

@Lana Valentine @BobbyW @EXPMIRACLE

Roku pointed towards a balcony her eyes returned to their normal color before responding to Rok, "The king," She said to him simply. The king alongside two others a regal looking woman and a man wearing a full suit of plate mail that was shined thoroughly came to stand upon the balcony of the castle. Else where Roku sensed magic at work as the sounds of the king's voice began to heard throughout their area.

The king places his hands upon the balcony edge, "People of Andor hear me! There is a menace loose upon our fair city. A demon has begun to stalk our nights within our city and we have found many dead," the king began to pace as his voice continued to be heard as he spoke.

"I am certain some of you have been missing loved ones, friends, family, workers and companions but, there is little time for us to mourn. As of right now, I am enacting a curfew upon the city, once the night reaches it's darkest moment all must be within shelter or face a severe punishment as a suspect in these crimes."

The king continued to pace then stopped pointing towards the crowd, "We will find this murderer, be he or she be an elf, dwarf, giant, wolf, beast, human or any other creature they will pay for disturbing our great city. I thank you all for understanding in these darker times." With that said the magic grew dim and the announcement appeared to be over.

Roku's eyes once more ablaze in their glow, "That is the path we seek, we must see the king." With that she lightly pointed towards the castle while whispering to Rok, "Be careful of everyone down below my large sized friend,"

A slight smile spread across Noah's lips once he heared Roku introducing him once more, this time with the title of knight again.

He gave the guard a nod as said individual decided to let the group pass. Then, right before they were about to enter the building, the captain was said to be in according to the man from earlier, Roku's eyes flashed up in a purple color again, this time brighter than ever before.

This didn't go unnoticed by both Noah and Kira, who once again, raised their eyebrows at the sighting. Seriously now, what' the hell's going on with her eyes?... The younger male thought to himself.

Roku then spoke up, telling the group that she'd have a better idea than joining the army. Her tone of voice while she said that though, was unusually serious. Noah's expression went a bit more stern due to that.
"Roku, is something--.." Suddenly, the sound of drums started echoing through the streets of Andor, following to which a quick announcement was spoken. The king was going to be holding a speech in a bit, and everyone was to attend it.

Roku then turned back to normal, like nothing had happened, climbing onto Rok's shoulder and leading the group towards central square.

Well, that was... Unusual. Scratching his cheek, the male followed.

On their way, Kira turned his head towards the giant, hearing that his name was spoken.
"Hmm?"

He let out, eyes remaining on said comrade for a few moments after his question was asked.

Eventually the boy shifted his gaze back onto the road, only then replying,
"It's called a drum. An object mostly used to play music. Important people like generals and Kings also use them to get the folks attention."

As the group arrived at the square, Noah and Kira glanced up to the king and his company, listening closely to his speech. While the boy's expression remained rather neutral at the news, the older male did raise an eyebrow, although not because of the announcement itself. His voice... It seems to be.. everywhere. I'm assuming he's having someone assist him with magic? A serial killer seemed to be wandering the streets of Andor, and as a response to this, the king has enacted a curfew for the folk.

Once that was done, both Kira and Noah turned to Roku once more. Her eyes were starting to glow again as she informed the group about their next move.

As a response, the older male held his eyes locked onto the girl while Kira shifted his own to the castle.
"Now, the man we met back at the gate did say that the king was accessable to his folk, but do you really think we'll be able to have a meeting him with him on such short notice?"

"Talk about aiming high," Arthur said from behind since he had heard Roku's caim as she pointed to the king. "Talk about confidence. Quite a good thing too." He was also intrigued, why did these people want to see the king? What were they trying to do? He hoped it wasn't anything suicidal or crazy. Actually, if he could determine their reasons, perhaps he could help them. After all, he had found a large number of old magic tomes that could be of use to the military.

Mark looked at the two people, asking him if he's fine. Obviously, the strange woman is bugging her, but not completely. He turns to them saying, "S-Sorry... Yes... I f-feel good. A-Alright, I mean". Keline looked normal, it appears as if she didn't buy anything as well. But Lana on the other hand, had cool-looking armor, her hip seemed to have a few knives stacked, these two elements make her look menacing. Well, everyone seems to be decked out. He did look around for the other guy, eventually gesturing a question on the location of the guy. He's worried about the group's health too, he doesn't remember eating anything before departing, so that's most likely a problem.

@Pashpu @Lana Valentine @Silver Wolf

Lana crossed her arms thinking as she walked down the road. "Perhaps we should rest? Get some food and such within us before continuing onward?" Lana tapped her chin before walking off the road slightly into a wooded area, "We'll rest within the shades of the trees, we've got a long trek ahead of us." She then began to scout out the nearby area her hand still spinning a dagger trying to get used to its feeling.

Roku looked down at the two whom had spoken to her from atop the giants shoulder. "I am Roku the dragonblood, destroyer of the way of slavery, conqueror of Seoga, the dark being within all the nightmares of the Slavers and the hope of any of the opressed. I shall gather my men of manly men and destroy the common order so that slaves can be free to just be people on equal grounds. Andot shows more respect to those who are supposedly lesser but, are they? Are they so different just because they are shorter or taller? Less intelligent? Have pointed eyes and wide eyes? No, they have as much right as a human should to be free and damn it all if I won't tear everything down with my own magic to do so. That's why he'll listen, I'm the hero who will fix the world.... And he's clearly needing help locating this demon do eh..." Roku shrugged after her speech to any who might hear her but, continued onward to the castle.

@BobbyW @EXPMIRACLE @Silver Wolf @Kel Vas

(Just uh, poke me if I shouldn't use Rok's uneducated ways.)

Rok stood near motionless, watching the grounds as the people spoke to one another of the king's words. With Roku's warning he could only find himself further incapable of proper movement. If he were to push through, surely most individuals would merely vocalize their displeasure with being thrust aside. But it was the thought of children, and the tiny-race that kept him from proceeding properly. This is when his ears tuned to the passing conversation between his allies, the topic of meeting with the king. It was odd that the question was raised on whether they would be able to meet with the king when he was standing just before them. Why would he not be able to listen to them? Was it due to the noise within the crowds? Or perhaps, did they think their voices would not reach him from within the castle? If that were the case, that was but a mild issue.

Straightening himself, the giant forced his frame to stand at full height. Arms raising as his hands formed a funnel that met his lips. "King of Andor!", the throat of the giant bellowed bringing about minor panic as the short-race now scattered from his feet to part from the noise. An unimaginable act, to allow his voice to call so loudly within this world, but those chains were being rattled. "Do you hear me, King?", his booming voice called once more, louder as the chains of slavery broke further once more. "The demon will be crushed!" His statements continued, bearing his might forward as he attempted to penetrate even the walls of the castle with his voice. "Then, you listen to words of Roku, Hero of Dragonblood, and friends, Noah the Knight, Kira of Dark Flames. And Rok of Berserker says roads are too small!" The giant stared at where the King once stood, eyes sharpening as his mind steeled further. Roku spoke of tearing everything down with magic to bring freedom, so Rok would have to join with his might and will.

Faeryl shook his head as he put his hand to his face. How dumb were these people? If they started a problem that could get them arrested and they fought back, they would surely die. The crowd was now looking at this group oddly and many were backing away with confusion. This was an odd thing too. He wanted to just turn around and leave, but he wanted to say something first. But, he and his father were following them for some reason.

"I can't believe that people like you are thinking you can approach a monarch so easily without issues. Talk about a lack of common sense..." Faeryl said as he lifted his head from his hand.

"Now now, don't be so rude! I, in a way, want to help them, besides, this Roku seems to have a dark view on some things that many people are oblivious to," Arthur said then turned his head and spoke to Roku. "I don't think it's right to treat people that are different in such a way, but for thousands of years, humans who were wicked were placed into power for many reasons, deception, hiding their true nature, and inheritance. And, if you want to see the king, I can arrange that."

Everyle(Ivari) was also in the wooded area, though he had his bow out and an arrow knocked, but not pulled back. He was hiding behind a tree and looking at something cautiously. As if he was going to attack. He sat there and stared at whatever he was without wavering his attention, until he heard footsteps. He turned around immediately and pulled back his arrow, finding himself aiming at Lana, who didn't seem to notice him yet.

"Hide, and stay quiet," he said in hushed voice then turned his attention back to whatever he was looking at.

Both Noah and Kira turned towards the two strangers that had spoken to Roku. Just like the older male, this new individual seemed to have doubts about them actually being able to get an audience with the king. Well, his comment ended up triggering the girl's standard revolution speech, although with variation's to the current situation. 'Manly men' was the part that almost cracked Noah up. Aside from Rok, there wasn't really anything manly going on in the group as of now, considering that they basically consisted of two teenagers and a guy that barely left puberty. Well, aside from that, the rest of the speech was quite inspiring, as always.

Shortly after, the giant suddenly yelled out to the king, trying to get his attention. His voice almost hurt Noah's ears, that's how loud he was.

The male's eye widened as he looked up to Rok. "What are you doing?!" He said in a whisper-yelling tone. Of course, his voice couldn't really compete with a giants and was barely even heared.

Kira was quite amused by the unexpected actions of his comrade, displayed by the visible smirk spread across his lips. He crossed his arms, the grin evolving into a chuckle at Rok's comment about the roads.

The crowds were starting to clear out around the group, making them more visible to the public.

Once the giant was done, that stranger's company spoke up now as well, calling them out for their apparent lack of common sense. The older one between those two made a statement as well, claiming that he'd have the desire to help the rebels. Both Kira and Noah decided to let Roku do the talking, shifting their eyes up to her.

Keline didn't believe Mark. She knew he had seen something unusual. But he was so shy and secretive, and of course he wasn't going to tell. This annoyed her, since she was getting somewhat protective of him. She rested on the tree and turned her attention to Lana, who was standing guard and spinning her dagger around.

Just then Everlyle came back, his face tense and his arrow drawn. "Hush, and stay quiet," he told them. Something was out there. Was it bandits? Keline tried to calm her fear...it was probably just an animal of some sort, maybe a boar. No need to panic.

~~~~~~~~~
Nighthawk had reached the forest. It had been a difficult job to keep the group in sight, without revealing himself to them. He had walked among the crowd in the city, and hid behind a horsecart while they were talking to the blacksmith. He had followed them into the forest from a distance, hiding behind trees and moving forward when he made sure they weren't looking. He was careful to make his footsteps as light as possible. He walked softer than any man, but he knew elves had very sensitive ears...
Finally, the group stopped to rest. He hid his entire figure behind a large oak tree a good distance away. The smaller boy and the human girl had sat down, and the elf-girl was standing guard. She had a lot of armor so he had to make it a good shot. The other elf had gone off somewhere else.
Nighthawk took out his thin crossbow and loaded it with a proper arrow, a small and very pointed silver one. He made sure its tip was properly coated in poison. Then, slowly, he manuevered it around the tree and aimed it at the elf-girl. Right at the crook of her neck...that was where he wanted. She would die within a minute, and if the shot didn't kill, the poison would. He drew the bow, and tensed his arms.
Then he let go, and it whizzed forward...
Lana was on watch her trained epven ears from countless attempts of thievery on high alert. She chewed on a piece of bread taken from the household of their old knight friend and remained in quiet thought. As she sat there Ivari came back to them from scouting the area warning them of something amiss. She looked towards the woods drawing her daggers but, still unused to using them dropped one upon the ground.
As she bent to pick it back up there was an almost completely silent thump of a crossbow launching. The arrow wizzed by grazing the side of her neck and slicing into it, she threw the dagger towards the direction the arrow shot from as it impaled into the tree. "Shite, get ready people." She rubbed her neck feeling her breath slowly beginning to get rougher. "Aw hell..." She whispered realizing even with her luck she still had little time till she would die.
( -_- He was hunting...that spoiled my plans besides, I just got my character controlled. *face desk*)
Everyle took the crossbow bolt and examined it quickly. He looked at it a bit then took a quick lick and spat. "No flavor, so I can't determine the poison now. Just keep an eye on the effects! Every poison has an effect that can identify it."
Everyle then took out his sword and dabbed it with a paralysis poison, so whoever got hit would be paralyzed in a few minutes. He then began running in the opposite direction of where the arrow came from until he was gone from view.
Roku looked at the two after fighting off a wave of giggles from Rok's shouts to the king. "That would be lovely," She shouted down to the two who offered them an audience with the king. "That will make things much easier!" Her ears were ringing from the giant's shouts to the king and now had trouble hearing herself.
Roku pointed towards the castle as the crowd began to thin out away from them. "Rok we march!" She began to drum on her leg while humming a battle tune as they went along once more.
Lana rubbed her beck before spitting upon the ground and heading after the person. She drew a bunch of the throwing knives attempting to beat the creature or persons range upon her. "He must be trained pretty well..." Lana said to herself mostly as she held the three throwing knives in one hand while yanking her dagger free from the tree she had impaled it into.
It had missed! Shocked, Nighthawk drew back and loaded another arrow. But then he realized there was a dagger hurtling towards him. He tried to dodge, but it was too late. It smashed into his chest. "Aaaaaaa!" he screamed, his body on fire, and then he fell down to the ground with a thud.
"Yeah, but I need to get some things first, I can't march into the palace as I am now," Arthur said loudly as he turned around with Faeryl. "If you really want to come, follow me."
Arthur and Faeryl turned around and began walking back towards where they came. He didn't look back either, he was just going to let them decide for themselves. It wasn't really his problem if they decided to burst through the doors. He was going in to deliver ancient tomes anyways.
Everyle had ran back and into the trees. He soon came close enough and jumped down while stabbing Nighthawk in a non-vital spot. He also immediately held the attacked down and removed the blade from his chest and held it to his neck.
"Who are you, and why are you attacking?"
Nighthawk gasped for breath, his throat searing. He had been hit with a dagger in the chest, and now stabbed once again. He tried to speak, but blood was spit instead of words. Everything around him had turned black...he was about to die. But Nighthawk tried again to speak, and this time he was able to. "You....cannot...........win," he hissed. And then he died.
Keline had been minding her own business, sitting against the tree and absent-mindedly inspecting her dagger. Just then, she heard a soft thud of a crossbow and she looked up. Lana had flinched slightly, as if she was hit.
Keline rushed forward, her heart beating, not thinking of the danger. She watched as Lana valiantly threw dagger after dagger at her attacker, and then stopped. She was clutching her neck. Keline gasped, noticing the slash wound the arrow had let on her neck. It was only a shallow cut, but it bore the unmistakeable markings of poison- the purplish stretch marks around the edges. She held Lana as she swayed.
"Oh gods," she gasped. She brought out her medicines bag and urgently pulled out a vial of black liquid. This would help with clotting. Holding Lana down, she poured it on her neck. She could treat the wound, but she didn't know if she had anything for the poison...
Everyle(Ivari to them for now) came back with the body slung over his shoulders and sighed. "Lana helped kill him, but he died far too quickly for being stabbed in a non-vital by me with paralysis poison. However, we can get information and such from his body. However..." He immediately noticed the wound and rushed forword and tried to examine it as best as he could.
"Purple stripes coming from the neck, weakened strength, what else do you feel, Lana? If you tell us how you feel other than that, I could identify poison."
