The most I do is make backgrounds for the images (when they don't have any), custom borders and slap filters on them~
I don't think I have ever used my actual art on RPN, mostly because it takes a really long time to get anything finished

I lack motivation and energy very often... Part of why my work ethic is just 404 (not found) ^^'

It's okay, I mean, not really...? But you learn to live with it, find loopholes around, that kind of stuff >w<
No matter how strong the storm is, there will always be sun afterwards...
It might be a terrible and rather frustrating cycle, but because it is a cycle you can always expect to find, reach, that highest point again, kinda like Ferris wheel >3<

I have things I want to do still, even if sometimes it all seems pointless and hollow and flat, that much remains true.
I'm yet to find my purpose in life, or more accurately, build it. And I refuse to let it all end before I do so!!
It's what keeps me going through the lowest points... A search for meaning and a desire to experience the most of what I can +O+

I'm sorry to hear your BFF has a similar dilemma going though... Sadly, there's not much to do but push through at one's own pace, which at times is the hardest thing in the world to do...
Finding that which makes you happy and diving head-first on it certainly helps, even if sometimes you need to remind yourself of just how much you love doing this and that thing
But honestly, when it's something like RP, which makes it feel like you really belong to something on top of all of the fun... It's simply the best

...Annnd I made myself all sad now by getting suuuper existential and whatnot, dang it ^^'

Finding it, yes, but once it has been found though and allied to energy, you can go and make awesome things with it~
