I keep both the macros and a Private Workshop thread.
The thread became a thing when the macros were removed roughly a year and a half ago, so now I just keep both updated >w<

The good of the thread is that I can keep unused layouts there too, from RP's that are dead and such... The ones in the macro page are just the active ones

Wow, that probably means you lost a lot due to RPNs changes since then ; ;
Lost them, re-did them all, then had to re-do everything with HTML, then re-do everything in BBCode again... Yep XD
It was both frustrating and fun, weird stuff >w<

Yikes
Ive been on the site a lot longer than this new account would suggest
Never really used macros though, thought they were more complex than they were hhf
Cant imagine losing so much work tho geez

I raged-quit my role play because all the effort I put into my role play got destroyed.
I fixed it later when BBcode was up again. It was indeed a frustrating experience though.
Sadly, I don't find fixing BBcode fun ; ;

Nah, IMO the most frustrating moment of the site was either when HTML wasn't a thing yet or when HTML had left but BBCode wasn't back up either
Having to work with the base editor's flat colours and basic fonts, or downloading the fonts to make image headers (google fonts wasn't working either) then actually making my side boxes into an image, typing all the info on them all of the time and uploading those to float on the post was just ugh, too much work!
Other people would have just left it, but I'm stubborn and wanted some consistency through the posts ^^'

Two of my AEGIS characters' had about 10 different side boxes on that period, one for each post, oh and the tags had to go by the end, instead of in the box since well, the box was an image now... Talk about layout disruption >.>

I'd rather have to fix the BBCode than to make everything into an image again : P

Oh! There was also that time when the Google Fonts' tag was broken, so we had to figure out a way around it with the divs XD
That one was odd

*pats shoulder in sympathy*
That sounds awful!! >o<

Ive been off and on on the site and I just remember making a really cool cs and then like, two days later they took bbcode down

I couldn't figure out HTML when it did come out, so I gave up wholeheartedly. We lost a lot of good RPers around that time.

I spent some nights awake trying to figure it out. Literally learned it from zero with w3schools because I am hella stubborn... Was a fun experience but lots of hard work and solving the exercises and what-not

Oh I broke a thread once too!
Forgot to change the 'body' command with whatever I was supposed to and the entire RPN page broke and it didn't fix itself when I refreshed the page, neither when I fixed my mistake. Luckily it was a private workshop thread so I deleted it and wrote a huge apology to the staff in a profile status... I was really really shaken. And this was me being careful... I swear >~<

HTML is freaking OP and scary!!! I'm soooo glad we're back to BBCode where I can't break an entire website with my fuck ups ^^'
That's too much power for someone who isn't 100% sure of what she's doing >.>

Thinking now, maybe it was a good thing that you didn't figure it out, Sachi ^^'

Like where the tables go and the slot machines
Oh. So like a map then?

Honestly, I like maps. They help me locate my character in reference to others' positions in the given space. I find maps really helpful~ >w<
IMO though it is certainly a step further, it's not 'too much' territory yet
