Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Larassa didn't move a muscle while she listened to what Rosalyn said. Pausing, Larassa then asked her, "What kind of Gifted are we talking about?" She then casually held up her pointer finger and summoned the small blue flame that danced on the tip of her pointer finger, which was pointed at the ceiling currently. Glancing down at Rosalyn, Larassa then patiently waited for Rosalyn's answer, still very keen about burning off one of Rosalyn's fingers.

Tucker gasped involunatrily as he woke from the memory, or nightmare. Looking around, he saw that he was back in the medical bay, sitting in a chair against the wall, opposite of his sleeping body. Despair rolled over Tucker, as he slumped forward with his face in his hands. What was he doing here? Obviously nobody cared that much about him. Kytha hadn't once mentioned Tucker while arguing with that wolf agent. Did she even think about him once? What was the point in moving forward, if he was going to be moving forward alone? Tucker couldn't imagine Manjano or Piper magically showing up to save the day. He didn't even know where they were...or if they were still alive. It was a dangerous world for Gifteds nowadays.

Braen growled when he saw Richter tell Amelie where they were. Braen! I'm begging you please let me out I can still fix this! Oh Hugo, did you really think that the reason I brought you here was to get a job? You know well that you could of lived as a Hunted and never let them find you. The real reason I brought you here were to destroy this "government" the torture and the killing was just a way to get you prepared for what is to come. What are you talking about? What is to come? The destruction of humanity of course. They are the ones who force gifted to hunt their own kind just so they could feel safe. If we kill them the gifted could be free. Let them embrace their power instead of conceal it. But....how? There are more humans then gifted and almost all them are locked up! You would think that but what if all humanity committed suicide at once hmm? no war. no losses on the gifted side. You've done that to people before. Yes but that was one at a time and that used a lot of energy! But what if there were a gifted who could amplify other gifted's powers hmm? I guess that is possible but...all of the humans...dead It would be no different from what you've already done just a larger number. Just lik- Braen's thought was interrupted of the sound of a bullet whizzing past his head. Braen immediately broke into a sprint diving behind a large pillar that connected to the roof of the building luckily not getting hit by a bullet. He then heard Amelie's voice Braen turned himself and Richter almost completely undetectable including muting any sound that came from them. Shit she saw us!

((oops))

Braen kept against the pillar as he could feel the vibrations of the bullets impacting the concrete. He has to run out of bullets sometime.

"Hugo, I do not have time to deal with this crap! We have an emergency to deal with so get you self together!" When he dissapeared her wolf growled. She may not be able to see him but her wolf could. The wolf hesd went low and started walking towards 'Hugo', it's sharp ice teeth showing. Amelie's ice armor formed, she was not taking a risk.

Rosalyn flinched at the sight of the fire. "Like I know what kind of gifted. You know as well as I do that there is almost infinite types of gifted. Like I said before, I have been in the states for over a year. People come and go, change their minds." Her eyes went back to Larassa's.

She doesn't seem afraid maybe she never saw that much? Shes asking for me so let me out I know your plan now and will follow it.. ......ok then.. Hugo and Ritcher suddenly appeared out of the air a bit pale but quickly gaining his colour back. "Sorry while I was invisible accidentally muted my hearing wasn't until you came that I knew something was wrong.." Hugo turned to where Richter was crawling. "Oh jeeze did I get your wrist that bad? Didn't really notice while you where trying to shoot me with those bean bag bullet things." He said jogging over to Richter with a surprised look on his face. Hugo gave Richter a secret deadly glare to warn him not to speak of what really happened.

When Hugo was viable again, acting all worried about Richter, Amelie's wolf stopped growling and looked conused. Her armor still stayed on. She could see from Richter's wounds that the something got out of control, so she decided to stay incase something else happened.
Richter grit his teeth. "Yeah, this is normal isn't it!?" he said, raising his wrist. "I'm telling her" Richter continued, slamming his uninjured fist on the floor. "Everyone will know, Hugo" Richter took a deep breath, and calmed himself. He stood up, wrapping his wrist with his coat. He then glanced over at Amelie's ice wolf - seemingly, it had understood what had happened.
"Dude calm down you don't need to be mad about losing its just a training area and your wounded so we should go to the medical bay." Hugo said calmly Remember that time when we changed what that homeless man said while it was coming out of his mouth so he couldn't tell what he saw to the government? Already was thinking that...as soon as he starts telling ill start. Hugo turned to Amelie "Wow I never new you could make a wolf out of ice...What was the emergency you where talking about??"

Amelie was not amused with Hugo. Almost everyone knew about her wolf, had been her companion for years. "Sparring matches aren't allowed to be rough anymore. We do not have Alpha to heal majors wounds. And you aren't special Hugo, like everyone else you need to go to the conference room to find out. My wolf will follow you guys to the medical bay and make sure you make it to the conference room. Hurry." She turned and walked away, her ice armor melting off her body. Her wolf waited for Hugo and Richter to move.

"Ok then I was never told there was a conference room in the first place.." Hugo said as he began to walk a meter behind Richter slightly grinning that it ended pretty well and he didn't have to use his power to make Richter shut up. Hugo didn't look behind him as he already assumed the wolf was there.

Amelie barely heard what Hugo said but hearing it pissed her off it was like he didn't even hear her over the com. "Stupid newbiees." Amelie muttered and returned to the conference room. Her wolf padded along behind the two agents.

Larassa narrowed her eyes at this and said, "I highly doubt that the Prime Minister's daughter infiltrated this place, of all places, without some knowledge of plans or something. Until you can provide me with some solid information..." Larassa swiftly grabbed one of Rosalyn's hands, her left one since it was closest, and then maneuvered it so her pinky was fully extended. "...I don't think you'll need this finger." Before Rosalyn could try to pull her hand away, Larassa quickly brought her blue flame down to the bottom of her pinky, swiftly burning through skin, muscle, and bone, and then severing the pinky entirely. The intense heat from Larassa flames instantly cauterized the wound, keeping it from excessively bleeding everywhere, though it would still immensely hurt.

Xander woke with a start, inhaling sharply, only to find himself sitting against the wall of the medical bay, facing the bed that he was still sleeping on in reality. Slowly standing back up, Xander let out a frustrated sigh and then swiftly turned to punch the wall behind him. Of all memories, it just had to be that one. Thanks to the government, Xander had no idea if his baby was a boy or girl. What its name was or what it looked like. He didn't know if it was Gifted and had been hunted down by the government. There was too much he didn't know. Yet, the government had never allowed him to return home on vacation or anything. They always feared that Xander would fight back again upon seeing his wife again. Xander just wanted to know that Celeste was well and he desperately wanted to meet his own child. What had Xander done to deserve all of this?

Rosalyn blacked out for a moment the pain too much to bear. When she awoke again she was panting, sweat dripping down her face. "We have a gifted that can neutralize gifts within a 10 meter radious." Her eyes shut again. ~I'm sorry father.~ "the rest are pretty basic. Elemental weilders, shifters, etc. Now please stop burning me!"

Nodding at this tidbit of information, Larassa then said, "See? That wasn't so hard now was it, Rosalyn?" Smirking, Larassa then walked to the door while saying over her shoulder, "It was nice chatting. Perhaps we can do it again soon, Rosalyn." Upon exiting, Larassa then shut the door behind her and closed her eyes for a moment, as she started closing up her mind and effectively kicking Rosalyn out of it. The moment she'd learned of Rosalyn's Gift, she'd used it against her, which had proved to have been extremely useful. Now that she was done with her though, she no longer wanted Roslayn inside her mind. Looking at the guard beside the now closed and locked door, Larassa then asked him, "Where is the Chief currently? I need to speak with him now."

Hayden kept walking deep to the forest, surely nobody would ever... "Put your hands in the air! Now!" Someone near shouted at him. He heard the cocking of a rifle, "I mean it! Hands in the air! Or I will shoot!" The man added. He turned towards the shouting voice and revealed his gun strapped to his chest, swinging wobbly. The man turned out to be another Government Soldier, and by the way he looks, he must have been a solo scout. His rifle was raised up high, aiming for Hayden's chest.

Hayden just smiled at the scout, "Do you even know who I am?" he asked him. The scout stayed his ground, "Oh, I know who you are, Hayden Pierce." He replied with a strong tone. "And, did the gov tell you what I'm capable of?" Hayden asked again. The scout stayed silent and Hayden smirked again. "Well then, let me show you..." Hayden said calmly and even before the scout could pull the trigger, he was surprised that his neck began to bleed. And Hayden was already behind him, standing straight.

He looked at the scout as he dropped to the ground, his life being taken away from the body. Hayden didn't waste any life essence that was left inside the scout's body, he harvested it all. He kept walking towards the forest and it took him 30 minutes to reach a man-made path, deep inside the forest. There he saw more scouts that were not far from each other. They must have been scouting the area for an evacuation team to pass through.

Hayden hid and took a sharp broken branch to stab the first scout. The scout cried in pain and alerted more enemies. He took the scout's pistol and shot another scout on the right side as the next enemy began to shoot Hayden from the north. He took cover in the trees and aimed for one more soldier that almost shot Hayden but missed. He shot the scout who fired and then rolled to face the enemy from the north. He avoided fire and recovered from the roll quickly, he aimed and pulled the trigger as the last scout dropped dead. All 4 scouts taken down.

He finally heard the mixed footsteps of civilian evacuees and guard escorts. The were getting close. Hayden spotted 4 soldiers, two on the front and two on the back, the civilians on the middle. He raised his rifle up and immediately shot the first two as the crowd of civilians began to break apart and panic. There was a little girl that tripped over a rock and fell to the ground, crying and weeping for her mommy. Hayden had to react quickly, as the crowd began to disperse, he had a clear line of shot for the last two soldiers and finally he shot the soldier on the right first then dropped to a crouching position to dodge the bullets, then quickly shot the last one. The little girl was still on the ground, 6 meters from Hayden. He moved towards the little girl with his hands raised up high, gesturing that he wasn't going to harm her. He heard a motherly voice from the distance and looked at her. The mother rushed to her baby and took her, escaping from Hayden. He wasn't going to break his promise to his ancestors. The crowd was finally gone, he was alone with all the dead bodies ripe for draining...

(What happened to Hayden being being a good boy?)

Once Larassa was gone, Rosalyn passed out from exhaustion. The man watched as Larassa came out with a please look on her face. "The Chief is still at the agency's Headquarters in Texas. He is trying to deal with the Hayden situation."

Larassa furrowed her brows at this and then said, "Fine. I'll be headed there next. I'm done here." Realizing she needed to keep a close eye on Rosalyn and that she wouldn't be able to be transferred to Cataracta Now that they were on lockdown, Larassa ordered the guard to transfer Rosalyn to the Germany prison and to keep her under until the scientists there could invent some device to prevent Rosalyn from using her Gift, telepathy. Turning on her heel after this, Larassa then began maneuvering down the hallways to exit the Pentagon. While she walked, Larassa pulled out her cell phone and called the agency's HQ, intending to inform them that she was on her way and needed to speak directly with the Chief.

Piper skidded to a halt, reaching the last door on this hallway. Praying it was unlocked, Piper kicked it and was pleasantly surprised to see it fly open. Sprinting inside, Piper quickly shut the door behind herself while making sure her dragon wings were clear of the door. Locking the door, Piper then turned around and was surprised yet again to see a young girl in the room. Having no idea who the child was, Piper bridkly walked up to her and then asked sharply, "Who are you?"

Vulcan shook his head. "No, I haven't come here to discuss the mistakes we've both done in our past. Wasn't my intention to do or say this." Then he watched her move to the wall opposite of them and lay down, mentioning a bed. "That's not for me to decide and you know it. I follow damn orders." he muttered. "And before you say Amelie is the one giving them and forcing me to do anything, you're wrong. She's not the chief. Not yet anyways and she gets her orders from over there." Then she mentioned the carving in the wall. He looked up to look at it. "It's beautiful. If Xander could see it he would probably create you one to entertain yourself with while you're here. Except that he's in coma. And Tucker too." he sighed deeply, then leaned his back on the door again, closing his eyes for a moment. "You know Hayden better than anyone. We need your help. All of humanity needs your help for if we don't stop him, there will be no one to fight for, Kytha."

Kytha continued to lay there. Not even flinching at the mention of Hayden. "He won't kill humanity. Just the entire government including you and your precious girlfriend. At least I am not on a leash with love. Your still below her Vulcan. She's taking advantage of you. Last warning." Her voice still calm yet it had a cold tinge to it.

"How is she taking advantage of me? You don't know her. And how could you? Of course she has to act that way in the open. Her job and rank requires it." he said.

Two guards came in, unlocked the chains on her ankles and put her in a wheel chair. One injected her with some anesthetic so she wouldn't wake up any time soon. There was a helicopter waiting to bring them to the airport. There was a stretcher to strap her into once they got her into the helicopter. They shut the doors and were off. At the airport there was a small private transporting plane waiting for them. This meant that there was a cell on board the actual plane and not under. They placed her in said cell and took a seat them self. They now knew she had telepathy but it wasn't going to help her much while she was already in a cell. Soon enough the plane took off. "We will land at our destination in about 10 and a half hours." The pilot said.

Even though the girl was being rude, Alpha knew exactly who she was by the wings on her back. "I am Alpha, the healer of the agency." Claire was now in a corner away from the girl. The guards had long since left to deal with the aftermath. "He told me about you. You poor thing. I"m surprised they didn't send me to you first. Instead they sent me to that monster for a stupid reason." She cautiously walked towards Piper. "Is it ok if I heal your wings? You cant turn fully back unless they are healed, correct?"

Amelie's wolf waited patiently for Richter to be finish. He was the one Amelie was worried for since Hugo didn't seem to have many wound, so he was the one he was going to stand by. Sensing the man was in some pain the wolf rubbed it's head against his leg.

Kytha smirked but her silence filled the air. He amused her so much. "On chains." She muttered between fake coughs. "Would you just leave me alone? Or bring my dog and dragon. That'd be nice since you took it and made it pass out from cluster-phobia. Aswell as me. If anything they should be experimenting on me not it. Do you know how unfair it is to treat an animal that way? It's just cruel!"

Her words were true. What the government was doing was wrong. But he couldn't just leave or disobey orders. He would not only be fired, he would land in the same cage as Kytha. And prisoners weren't all that friendly with ex-agents. He's be dead in a week. Vulcan ran his hand down from his forehead to his chin. "You are right." he muttered. "But what do you want me to do? I can't do anything about it. Not alone. You can't too... God, I can't talk about this. The walls have eyes and ears here." he said and mentioned to the tiny camera in the corner of the room. There were many more in the hallway, outside, throughout the forest... And even Amelie wouldn't be able to help him if he was accused of treachery.

Hayden was done, he never thought that I wouldn't be that easy. Of course, Vulcan wouldn't come to the cabin. He needs to go there himself, wherever they are. He kept count of the guards he killed, around 70 - 75 while walking wherever in Niagara Falls. Wherever he went, there was always an enemy to be found, they were all looking for him. A trail of blood would be found behind Hayden's every step. The quiet screams of pain of the gov soldiers was the only sound to be heard. Sooner or later, someone will have to come out of the prison to check on the guards outside, and when they see all the dead corpses around them, they'll get the message. Nobody can stop Hayden. Nobody can stop a monster that is feared by both life and death. What this monster wants? Freedom and liberty from the hands of the government.

He reached a small airport in Niagara Falls, he wasn't surprised that there was no aircraft left for Hayden to board. Everybody evacuated the place so quick. But, of course, soldiers were still around. Hayden was tired of killing people, that's this time, he thought of a more friendly approach. He raised his hands up, assuming surrender, and moved towards the surrounding soldiers. "Hey! Uhhmm, do you guys know who and where Agent Vulcan and Glass are? Or maybe at least someone who knows where they are?" Hayden asked politely. The guards didn't answer, their guns aiming at him. Until one man came, a government officer, holding a cigarette on the left hand and a pistol on the right. He walked steadfastly towards Hayden. "Oh, Agent Glass? I know her, but you won't, soon enough when I beat your brains out and make you forget about them and take you to prison!" The officer replied and laughed at Hayden together with the guards. "Where are they? Officer?" Hayden asked again, this time, having a more dark tone. "They're in Germany's Gov HQ. Unfortunately, without any planes, you won't reach them. And you won't even move a single step now that we have you, Pierce." The officer replied. That was all Hayden needed. Germany. "Take him in, boys!" The officer ordered the guards as they rushed towards Hayden. All in all, there were 10 guards around him. He teleported to one guard, killing him with a shard, and impaled two more guards with the same shard. He punched one soldier and hid behind him, causing the other guards to shoot at their own ally rather than at Hayden. He stabbed him with a shard connected to his arm and used the man as cover, using the shard to shoot projectiles at the others, killing 3 more. 3 soldiers were left, and the officer now went running. Hayden stunned and drained one soldier and stabbed another one with a large shard then killing the last one with a small blood knife. Finally, he chased the officer down and killed him.

"Germany." Hayden said to himself.

Kytha still sat there. Her eyes shut peacefully and unworriedly. She wast. Even on high alert. "I'm going to ask you one last time Vulcan, what is it that you want?" Her mellow voice was almost unnerving. Even for herself.
