Everyone's fighting some battle of their own.
Larassa didn't move a muscle while she listened to what Rosalyn said. Pausing, Larassa then asked her, "What kind of Gifted are we talking about?" She then casually held up her pointer finger and summoned the small blue flame that danced on the tip of her pointer finger, which was pointed at the ceiling currently. Glancing down at Rosalyn, Larassa then patiently waited for Rosalyn's answer, still very keen about burning off one of Rosalyn's fingers.
Tucker gasped involunatrily as he woke from the memory, or nightmare. Looking around, he saw that he was back in the medical bay, sitting in a chair against the wall, opposite of his sleeping body. Despair rolled over Tucker, as he slumped forward with his face in his hands. What was he doing here? Obviously nobody cared that much about him. Kytha hadn't once mentioned Tucker while arguing with that wolf agent. Did she even think about him once? What was the point in moving forward, if he was going to be moving forward alone? Tucker couldn't imagine Manjano or Piper magically showing up to save the day. He didn't even know where they were...or if they were still alive. It was a dangerous world for Gifteds nowadays.
