Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Amelie felt like an idiot. Of course he wanted to sleep she was the one who had a nap earlier. "Ok. You're always welcomed to stay in my room with me but I understand if you want to stay in yours." Amelie started typing a message on her watch telling the nurses to keep her updated on the two coma patients and if anything happens to let let her know immediately.

"Sure, babe. But you'll let me sleep, won't you?" he answered teasingly and gave her a soft, slightly tired smile. He wouldn't reject a cuddle with her. They would have to be in a really big fight for it to not be okay. And besides, he needed it. After this day, every single one of them needed a shoulder to lean on.

After a bit of laying there kythas eyes began to close. She hadn't really had a good sleep in weeks. Since all the chasing and prison stuff. Soon, she was in a deep sleep. That's when a dream began to evolve.

Kytha took in her surroundings. The gentle trickle of a river that passed by her feet in the darkness. The silent breeze ruffling her gently. The tall trees that surrounded her. A beautiful brown colour to the trunk, and an odd tinge of blue to the leaves. The extraordinary plants in which looked like nothing from the world she knows.

A quiet scuttle catches her attention and she looks to see a owl that is also a squirrel. "What?" Kythas voice rang and the small being crawled closer.
I know You lost your dragon friend Kytha. When you get out, go to the edge and find the tallest oak tree. Look in the hollow on the ground and fin what you need. It waiting for you. And the little creature disappeared. The words locked in her brain as the squirrel/owl left her alone once again.

Then, another small rustle caught her attention. This time, beside the river. A beautiful white wolf appeared around the bend of the river. A wolf about kythas age. She was slender, fit, and quite familiar. The young she-wolf padded up to her. Soft on her paws but the anger showed in her eyes.
Kytha. I never thought my body would be used for such things as you have done. I am both disgraced, yet, proud. But more so disgraced. I thought you would use my body for good. "It is for good though. Please don't take the body from me." The wolf merely giggled. I would never do that Kytha. But respect what you have from me more than what you do now.. Your gift is unique. All others like you are born with their form. You, inherit them from dying animals whom give you their blessing. They can see inside you while they die to what you really are and decide if you are worthy. Be brave my dear. Be brave and don't lose all value. The wolf's voice echoed in her head as everything went black. -be brave my dear. Be brave and don't lose all value.-
Richter recoiled as Hugo shifted into another form. "C'mon, hit you so hard your powers went haywire?" he asked jokingly, nudging the unconscious Hugo with his foot. Something was very offputting about the new form, however. Richter stepped forward and took a knee, shaking around the unconscious Hugo.
"Alright buddy, c'mon" he said, attempting to wake him up.
Braen didn't budge, However the room started to change in various ways just like whenever Hugo dreamed. Images of all of their (Hugo/Braen) victims being tortured or killed flashed across the walls with the words KILL even some of Seth as this what was going on in Braen's mind. These images would've driven a un-gifted person to insanity but still would initiate terror in others.

Amelie smirked. "Of course I'll let you sleep. If it was any other time, probably not, but I can tell how tired you are and you aren't the only one." The few hours she got of sleep only helped so much. She gently took hiss hand and lead him back inside to sign in again. Lucky for them, the sleeping quarters weren't too far from the office building. She had them take the elevator up, since Vulcan's ankle didn't look too good. "If you need and ice cast put on there I can do that." She said as she unlocked the door to her room. "I have enough energy now."

"Don't overdo it." he complained when he was led into the elevator. "I feel better than I look." Once they were in her room and Amelie offered him an ice cast he refused, shaking his head. "I'll be fine. Really. I just need to get something from my room." he said quickly and left, walking up to theirs that was just down the hallway, unlocking it and grabbing two pillows - the one that was his and Xander's. "Sorry, buddy." he muttered as he was pulling the pillow from the upper bed. The nurse had said to put a pillow under his leg and that was what he intended to do. The bandage was quite thick and tight around his ankle anyways so not much cold would reach it, just wetness. Once he had gotten the pillows, he returned to Amelie's room and knocked on the door. Even though they didn't have anything to hide from one another, he knew not to barge in on her.

It's all coming back to him. The sensation he has never felt for a very long time. His power is back. But, he reminded himself that this was his own blood. Which means he couldn't control whatever the blood would do. Obviously, Hayden's physical body received so much pain and it was the blood's job to react. Everything happened while Hayden was deeply unconscious. Hayden's scattered blood in the medical bay began to glow and transform into a more solid matter. The blood was not enough, it could only do much less. Especially when the robots are around. 5 blood shards floated to the air as all 5 robots tried to shoot them. All the blood shards consumed 1 bullet and guided the projectile towards the robot's critical parts. The robots were gone, now the prison was on the highest alert. One blood wyrm disrupted all the hidden cameras it could find. Then, another wyrm stopped the nurses and doctors from calling for help by paralyzing each one of them. Paralyzing someone costed less blood than killing them. Then, Claiyre, the smartest of all the wyrms, controlled one person's body to lock all the windows and doors so nobody could get out or get in. The last thing that was to be done was to release Hayden. One wyrm also paralyzed Alpha's protector, Claire. ( Yup, Claiyre and Claire are different characters :P )

Everything around them was on total lockdown. Pure titanium plates all around the medical bay. Blood shards then destroyed the machine that strapped Hayden to the bed. He rolled and fell to the ground unconscious. Until, the blood shards and the wyrms shattered and went back inside Hayden's body. He stood up dizzily, but even so... he felt alive again. He could hear the metal footsteps of the robots outside. Then, Hayden looked at Alpha and came towards her. He knelt down and held Alpha's shoulders for comfort, "Hey, it's all alright. I won't hurt you, I promise." Hayden smiled. He was straight true to his word. He couldn't let a little girl be hurt in front of him. "Do you know the way out? Alpha?" He asked kindly as he stood up again and took all the paralyzed bodies and placed them in one corner where Alpha couldn't see them. Hayden went back to Alpha's side and sat beside her. "I'm a bad guy, I know that."

Alpha covered her face with her hands as the wyrms began to attack. She had to stay strong, hearing the sirens go off though, she broke and started crying. Amelie was wrong. How in the world could she have been safe here with him. Before she knew it, it was over the wyrms had retreated back into Hayden. She removed her hands to see him right in front of her, hands on her shoulder. She quickly backed away. "I've seen what you have done. I have healed the near death wounds you have cause my friends. Why in the world would I want too help a murderer like you?"

Before Amelie could say anything, he was gone. By the time there was a knock on her door she was already in her pj's, her hair pulled to the side in a braid. She answered the door to find Vulcan. "You don't have to knock babe." Eyeing the pillows she raised an eyebrow, ~Must be for his foot.~ and moved aside for him to get in. The sheets on the left side of the bed were moved, signal she was about to get in.

Hayden glanced at Alpha. "Your friends... my traitors. You're still a kid, Alpha. Do you even know your real name? You don't understand me, Alpha. It's not you who's going to help me, it's me who's going to help you. You're not supposed to be in a war. Live your life, Alpha. I can help you with that." He wiped Alpha's tears away then stood up. "Sooner or later, they're going to breach this room. I don't know what happens next."

He walked towards Claire, Alpha's protector. He searched Claire for anything that could help him find his way out and fortunately found a tablet. He turned it on and a holographic screen showed up with the requirement to ask for a password. "Uhh, of course there'd be a password." Hayden muttered. He looked for another way to unlock it and found an option of unlocking it by scanning Claire's finger. He scanned it as the tablet gave him free access of anything. It took him minutes to find the files of a map for the maze exit here in the prison. It was hard to memorize, so it took him more minutes to study it. After that was complete, he stood up and stepped towards the platinum door as he then looked at Alpha.

"Funny, when I still worked for the government, I was always proud of having an innocent and selfless girl like you to be with our side. Remember Charles? He was my squad mate, he was also a close friend of mine. During a mission, a polar bear tried to kill him, crushed his belly so bad... then you healed him back in HQ. He was so grateful for everything you've done. In fact, during another mission, he made a teddy bear for you out of carved wood. The next day..." Hayden sighed before continuing. "The next day, we were fighting a gifted who had the power of fire. We defeated him but he said he'd rather die than be captured. So, he tried to blow himself up. Even if we ran, the fire would still reach us. Charles managed to shoot the guy in the head. But, it was too late, the fire already started in his body. We thought that all of us would die. But, Charles... he was selfless just like you. Charles fell off the cliff along with the gifted. He sacrificed himself to save us. The moment it blew up, we knew both of them were dead. We tried to retrieve the carved teddy bear from Charles' body, but nothing was left... He treated you like his own daughter, Alpha."

Hayden breathed heavily as the platinum door began to open. Before the robots could shoot him, he used all the blood he has left to teleport pass the robots and passed through the isle way. The metal door was about to close, at least some blood shards could hold it open for him to pass through. The next hallway held more metal doors, it really was so confusing if Hayden hadn't gathered Claire's information. He finally reached a boat with a gifted ready to board it. He quickly attacked the gifted but he countered by summoning a very strong shield. He hastily slid under the shield elbowed the gifted right in the belly. As the gifted was stunned, he grabbed the gifted by the head and slammed him to the ground. The fake stone wall was about to close but he managed to slip past it to by putting the boat in between to give him some time. He was finally out of the prison and he began to began to swim. This was suicidal, Hayden knew it. Even if he was out of prison, how could he get past the wrath of nature? This was Niagara Falls. He could drown in minutes or be taken down by the strong currents. But, he wasn't going to give up. He bravely swam with all his strength and finally reached the calm waters where he saw a small hidden cabin. He hid there and dried himself off. The cabin was no doubt abandoned.

"Old habit I guess." he shrugged and walked in, tossing the pillows in each side of the bed - one for his head, the other for his ankle. He doupted it would stay where he put it but oh well. It's not like he needed it all that much as it would be completely healed by tomorrow morning. The burn and scratch marks probably as well. A normal human being would need at week of rest and healing but not Therians. He then took his suit off, staying in his shorts and crawled into the bed, laying down with a sigh in the farthest corner for Amelie to have more room. The moment he lay down, the exhaustion took over like a wave over his whole body. He would be asleep in mere minutes. But he couldn't. His organism wanted to rest but his mind didn't allow him to. He was worried. Worried about Xander and Alpha - the man that was like a brother and the girl that was like a daughter for him. He opened his eyes, put his arms behind his head and stared at the ceiling. He could feel the burnt ends of his hair. He had to cut it tomorrow first thing. But that wasn't what was bothering him. Some animalistic inner sense wasn't letting him in peace.

Amelie followed behind him and got into bed. She curled up next to him, normally she would want to rest her head on his chest but she would wait till all his wounds healed. She looked up at him and saw he wasn't even trying to sleep. "Vulcan, just go to sleep. Alpha will be fine." She knew he was worried about her. Amelie wasn't because that prison was the best they had. Unless someone did something stupid there, no one can get out. It also helped that any would Alpha might get would heal right away. Amelie just wanted to sleep, but she wanted to make sure Vulcan was at least going to attempt to sleep as well.

(Since Alpha is technically hours a head, she did have a 13 hour flight) I'm going to wait until the next day at this prison before she calls)

Vulcan sighed at Amelie's attempts to calm him down. Every thing had its weaknesses. Thinking that they were safe in that prison was one of them. It made people underestimate prisoners' capabilities. How could he calm down when Hayden was still alive in the first place. As long as he was breathing, no place would contain him for long. And Alpha wasn't the only one he was worried about. His best friend was in freakin' coma! How could he sleep when he didn't know if he would see or hear his buddy again. He missed him already. Vulcan pulled one of his hands from under his head and rubbed his eyes and forehead, trying to relax. Then he pulled the other one as well and put it around Amelie's shoulders, slightly pulling her closer. At least they had each other. Feeling her rather cool body against his, not only because she was an ice bender but also because therians' body temperature was generally higher, he could finally relax and fall into a light slumber.

Feeling Vulcan's warmth on her skin, Amelie sighed in content. One of the things she loved about therian was the warmth their bodies provided. It may be hard for her to get cold, but it also went the other way around. She enjoyed the warmth the sun brought on a hot summer day but fire was too hot for her. Her eyes slowly shut and images of Xander's still body came into mind. Amelie may act calm on the outside, but in her head was a different story. It took a little while for her to fall asleep but eventually she did.

Amelie woke up to the sound of her phone ringing. The sun had already risen so she assumed it was around 9-10am. She let the phone go to voice mail but itt started ringing again. Amelie groaned and rolled over, she hadn't ventured far from Vulcan in the middle of the night so she had to really reach for her phone on the nightstand. Looking at the caller ID it said 'Claire'. "Hello? Alpha?" All she heard was crying on the other line, she sat up. "Is everything alright?" The should have only been at the institute for not even an hour. Maybe Alpha just missed them. ~No Alpha wouldn't cry like this for something like that.~ "Amelie! He's gone!" The was a pause and in that pause she could hear sirens. Amelie's eyes widened, someone was attempting an escape. "Alpha! Who? Who was it that you needed to treat?" All Amelie could hear was muffled noises. "Hayden. H-he g-gone." At that the phone slid though Amelie's hand and fell on the bed and bounced onto the ground, ending the call. ~How was that possible? He had cuff specifically designed for him. He had his cell specifically designed for him. Unless...unless someone was stupid enough to take the cuffs off.~

Hearing the phone call end Alpha was grabbed by Claire, who was now concious, and pulled her along. Alpha knew what was going through the woman's head. To get her someone where safe. Alpha was the prized possession of the agency and she knew that. She knew that even though she could heal any of her own wounds without getting tired, they still didn't want her in danger. All the doors to get to the other floors were shut off. Sealed by giant doors. This is exactly what she went through all over again. Claire led her through the offices and a few GA'S met up with them as they reached the one all they way jn the back. "Lady Claire, Agent Alpha, you are both staying with us." One said and pushed them along inside, what Alpha assumed, was a managers office. It was sealed off unlike the box cubicles, so once they were in and the doors were locked, when metal went up like walls around them it didn't surprise her. At least there was a phone in the office. Felling Alpha shaking Claire looked down at her and smiled. "Don't worry little one. The best of the best are going after him right now." That didn't mean anything to Alpha. She had watched Amelie almost die because of the man, and she was going to be the next chief.

Vulcan was awake about an hour before Amelie's phone started ringing. He couldn't sleep and didn't want to move. Before he could say Good Morning, she finally picked up her phone. Hearing her call out Alpha's name he shot up and focused his hearing on the other line, trying to get everything that was happening. He could hear sirens, orders being yelled, Alpha crying out of fear. Hearing that Hayden was gone, Vulcan froze in place, unable to think straight. What could they do? They barely managed to capture him the last time. And in those few months there were more casualties than in the Second freakin' World War. They couldn't allow the same thing to happen again. But what could they do? They couldn't send the army after him. He would suck their life energy right up. Vulcan had heard of robots but if he had managed to escape than he had managed to get past them as well. Evacuate the area? No place would be safe. Not even if they stayed in Germany. That lunatic would do anything to get to them, fulfill his insane vengeance, free his beloved Kytha. It was only a matter of time. "What are we going to do?" he managed to mutter.

Amelie didn't even hear what Vulcan said. She was focusing her energy on staying calm and it wasn't working very well. She put her hands on her head. Hayden was the last person she wanted to see. If Alpha hadn't been there to heal her wounds she probably wouldn't even be her right now. And then again when he shot a shard through her heart. Uncounciously her body started to shake. They had the woman he cared for in solitary. He was going to do whatever he could to get her out and all Amelie wanted to do was run. "Vulcan..." Her voice was barely above a whisper. "I don't know what to do. I can't protect anyone against him. I can't even protect myself." Her hand touched her chest. If it wasn't for Alpha, she would have had a large scar across it. Amelie looked at Vulcan, her eyes mixed with fear and worry. Fear of Hayden and what he would do to them and worth for Alpha and the rest of the GA'S at the institute.

Vulcan hadn't often seen Amelie so afraid of anything. When he started talking, he completely rose from the bed to stand in front of her, placing his hands on her shoulders and holding her tight. "Don't panic. That's what he wants." he tried encouraging her and himself. They couldn't lose hope. They had to keep a cool head and think of a plan, contact the HQ and await orders. "You have to call HQ. We will need all the help we can get." Agents only. Powerful agents capable of protecting a large group of people from his attacks. And they had to do it fast. He would be drained from his powers and they couldn't give him time to recover. Vulcan assumed the Falls were being evacuated as they spoke to eliminate his access to living organisms - his food source.

Anelie winced when he gripped her shoulders. Hearing him tell her what to do calmed her down. "Yes, I need to call the cheif." Of course this happens now. She slowly removed his hands from her shoulders so she could lean down and pick up her phone. She held down the one button and itt started to dial. "Hello sir... yes I know you're dealing with that but he is going to head here...I know this because the woman he loves is here...ok...yes, we will take what we can get." The chief ended the call and Amelie put the phone in her lap. She didn't say anything for a moment. "He said he can only send a few agents and by few I mean like five. He needs everyone in the states to prevent him from leaving. The airports all have his picture. As least one agent in each airport in disguise, that in itself spreads us thin. Not to mention we need to make sure no more prisoners get out of the institute and to clear the area and search for him." Amelie leaned back in the bed so her back was resting on the wall. She squeezed the phone, causing the screen to crack. "And since Larassa is gone and...and Xander can't help, we need to play on the defense. We can keep her here annd when we find out he is on his way, put the dome back up. There is no way his wyrms could penetrate it." Thinking about Kytha not even being able to break it, Piper came to mind. Security would be tight but because of the panic Alec could possibly hack and and get her out. "What if we somehow get Piper out? Alec, he could get into the system and and...I don't know."

Vulcan nodded at everything she said. If those five guys knew what they were doing, they would be enough. There were some other agents in the facility as well after all, not just guards. Defense... Vulcan was hoping the shield would stand... but for how long? They were maybe protected but also trapped inside. "He can try. At the moment, no one will notice someone hacking in. It would be their most minor concern. Unless of course they release more than her. Call him. He should also scan the area for Hayden." he said as he walked over to the window, opening it to let some fresh air in and to clear his head.

Piper was frozen for a few minutes after she'd read the last text on the TV screen. Her TV show, Animal Cops, was on again as usual. Just another rerun since the show was canceled decades ago. Blinking, Piper stood up in a slight daze and then wandered over to the tiny window in her cell, desperate for some fresh air. Was someone really trying to break her out? Were those agents she helped before going to return the favor? Letting out a small sigh, Piper bit her lip and then rocked back on her heels before she left the window and walked over to her cot. Sitting on it, Piper leaned forward and buried her face in her palms before letting out a small groan. Maybe she was just becoming delusional at this point. Despite all her efforts to fight back, Piper had already been sedated and one of the scientists had taken some of Piper's blood. Correction: They'd taken as much as they could without killing her. Piper had actually just recently woken up after losing so much blood. This was all so infuriarating. Narrowing her eyes, Piper stood up and let out a snarl before punching a wall...and then faltered as an obnoxiously loud alarm began blaring. Eyes wide, Piper turned around quickly towards her cell door, instantly regretting this when she felt dizzy and nauseus. It was bad enough that her wings were nearly healed, now she was recovering from a lot of blood loss as well.

His vision was blurry at first and everything sounded like it was far away. Then Tucker felt all of his sense return to him in full strength within seconds. Looking around in bewilderment, Tucker saw his family relaxing in the living room, laughing as if not a thing were wrong with the world. His brother and sister were sitting together on a couch, both twins. Well, actually Tucker was the triplet in the bunch, but he'd always felt like the oddball out. It hadn't helped when their gifts had begun to surface. Looking around at his family, Tucker felt a pang in his heart. What had Tucker done to deserve being torn away from this life? He used his gift one day to defend a kid being bullied at school. Not too long after, they'd arrived. What had gone wrong? Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Tucker slowly rose from the lounge chair he'd been sitting on in the living room. Before his mom could open the door, it was kicked in and his mom flew back before crashing down on the ground. Tucker froze with indecision and fear, as the agents charged into the room and aimed tazer-like weapons at Tucker. One fleeting glance at his terrified parents, siblings cowering against a wall nearby, Tucker knew he needed to get the agents away from his family. Just like he'd done six years ago. As one of the agents fired his weapon at Tucker, time slowed and Tucker easily dodged the bullets before he took each weapon and smashed all of them against the wall, shattering them. With the agents' full attention now, Tucker became a red blur, as he sprinted out of the house and down the street, only pausing at the intersection to make sure that everyone was following him. As Tucker sprinted around a corner of a building, time slowed again and then the world around him faded into darkness once more.

There was a sudden flash and Xander blinked the spots out of his vision, as he regained his vision and saw Celeste giggling in front of him with a polaroid camera in one hand while she waved a freshly taken picture about with her other hand. Xander smiled at Celeste, not saying a word while he watched her wave the picture about for a couple seconds. Celeste caught him staring and grinned before saying, "That eager to see the picture?" Xander grinned in return and shrugged before replying, "I don't need to see it to know that I look amazing. Plus, I'd rather admire the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." Celeste blushed and then smiled before saying, "She must be a lucky woman to have caught your eye." Xander smirked and then walked up to Celeste before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her in close to him. With their faces inches apart, Xander smiled and then said softly, "You must be the luckiest woman on earth then." Celeste blushed and then averted her gaze, her embarrassment showing blatantly. Xander smiled at this and cocked his head slightly before asking Celeste, "What's wrong, Angel?" Celeste's face then became expressionless, as she stared into Xander's eyes. The look unnerved Xander and he frowned and furrowed his brows before saying to Celeste tentatively, "Angel, you're starting to freak me out here." Celeste then spoke in a frightened tone, "You just had to do it, didn't you? You promised you'd be there for me, yet you went out and took the fall for some of those bastards!" Xander wilted under Celeste's outburst and then said, "It's not like that!" Celeste frowned and then said softly, "Your actions say otherwise." Xander felt tears beginning to roll down his face as he replied, "Angel, you know I'll always be there for you." Angel then pulled out a letter. The letter. Smiling sadly, Celeste then said, "How can you? You're already dead." Xander then felt his heart drop to his stomach, as he gasped and then whispered, "W-What?" But everything was already fading away, Celeste included.

"He could try." Amelie looked up at her phone. The screen was cracked but it still worked. She held the two down. 'Ams, what's up?' "I need you to get Piper out of the Cataracta Institute." The was a pause on the other end of the line. 'Well I was trying to do that before. What makes you think I can now?' "Hayden escaped. Their main focus will be on him, not a minor glitch in the system." Alec was kind of surprised by that his sister was telling him to break a prisoner out. 'I'll get on it.' "Oh and try and find Hayden while you're at it." Alec groaned and then hung up. "Well it seems he will try his best to get her out. We should probably go alert the others."

"Let's go then." he said and turned around, quickly getting back into his suit. "Can't you send a message over the coms of all the agents? We should meet up somewhere to discuss the matter. Most of them don't know what they are dealing with." he added as he was pulling the zipper up and heading towards the door.

There was yet another blinding flash, and then Xander's vision blurred before focusing on the medical bay. He was standing beside his body, which was no longer on the oxygen supply, like Tucker's. Looking around, Xander couldn't see anyone he knew nearby. Wandering away from his body, Xander began weaving his way around the few GAs and guards who all seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere. Navigating through the hallways, Xander soon found himself back at his own room. Frowning down at the locked door, Xander tried to walk through it since he appeared to be a ghost of some kind. Smacking his face into the door, Xander stumbled backwards and cursed under his breath before looking down the hall. Maybe Vulcan was with Amelie in her room? Shrugging, Xander walked away from his room and soon found himself just outside of Amelie's room. Standing to the side, he leaned against the wall casually and began to wait for the pair to exit the room. He could dimly hear their muffled conversation, but couldn't make out the words. Not that it mattered too much. It was already obvious to Xander that he had no means of communicating with anyone.

Tucker gasped, stumbling backwards before catchign himself on the edge of some bed. Not recognizing where he was currently, Tucker turned around to see...himself. Inhaling sharply, Tucker stumbled backwards again, slamming into the wall with his eyes wide open. What the hell was going on here? How was Tucker looking at himself? Closing his eyes for a moment and willing this to just be a weird dream or something, Tucker opened his eyes to see that he was still in the same place. This was freaky. Forcing himself to relax, Tucker finally was able to breath again despite his seemingly lack of need for air anyhow. After all, his unconscious self seemed to be breathing just fine. Looking around the room, Tucker's eyes soon stopped on Xander's body. He didn't know the agent well, but he seemed to have mastered control over his gift much like Tucker. Tucker was very prideful of his control considering how he'd mastered it at such a young age. Sitting down in a chair off to the side of the room, Tucker leaned forward and then stared at himself, wondering if he was in a coma or something. Seriously though, what was going on here?

Suddenly Kytha awoke in a snowy wasteland. The ice under her body was chilling inside. Slowly she stood up and a fierce storm began to blow. Pushing her hair around aswell as her body. The feel of the snow hit her like a slap every time. The distance held a great ship frozen into the solid ice and obviously abandoned. a large flurry of snow swirled down from the sky shaping into a leopard seal. It hobbled over to her looking at her with glassy eyes. Upon inspection Kytha had realized the seal was made of only snow and ice. The seal began speaking, the voice coarse, soft, and frightening. "Kytha. I am here to alert you about the one they call Hayden. He has escaped the top security prison and may head your way. I have left a token in your cell, under your bed. Find it when you wake up, my dear. And don't lose any hope ever." the seal began to go back into the swirl and she had to cover her face from the white flakes only to feel them harshly hit her arm.

After a minute, she looked around her as far as she could. The only thing around was the ship so she began to walk forward. The ship creaked and groaned but the storm slowed to a halt about 500 meters before the ship. She looked behind her for about 5 minutes. The storm wasn't moving. It was as if the ship had a force field. She slowly walked in to the ship looking around and let out a breath she didn't know was being held. The small plume of white air caught her attention but it quickly vanished and she kept moving. She checked all the chests, unsatisfied at not finding anything, then headed up out of the lower deck to the main deck. She checked all around but still nothing. She didn't dare go up the mast though in fear of falling. her boots clanked on the ground as her steps led to the captains quarters. She tried to push the door open but found it stuck. She doubted that nothing was in there so in a last effort she kicked the door open. her heart stopped when she found a mound of white fur laying peacefully on the ground. it was a bear.

slowly the bear got up and turned to face her. It looked like her but not. the low yet feminine voice coed to her softly as the small lantern in the room lit up her their dim faces. "Kytha. Your heart is kind. I know that. But do you? does your mind understand that? Your intentions are indeed good, but it shows hatred and mutiny. Don't allow it power. The body I shed for you is a strong one. Do not make me regret my decision by it getting used for evil. Control your life, don't let it control you." The scene slowly faded once again to black leaving kytha to think about now not one scene, but two.
Richter felt his stomach in knots as the various images replaced the gladiators colosseum Hugo had originally set up. He stepped away from Hugo, watching the various horrific images displayed.
The images suddenly stopped as Braen's eyes shot open revealing his glowing red irises. He stayed still for a couple of moments but slowly moved his arms to his sides in a push up position. He pushed himself up into a crouching position Braen turned his cocked head slowly and looked Richer right in the eyes. However, inside Braen's/Hugo's head there was a large argument taking place Braen! Don't do this! I can still fix this let me out and I'll say my power goes out of control or even pretend it was a sick joke! No...I haven't been out in a long time and its my turn to have fun.. Damn it! you're going to blow our cover! Not if Richter dies and there is no proof Braen no! Braen then blocked Hugo out of his mind just like Hugo did to him. Braen stood up unnaturally straight and slowly walked towards Richter with his head slightly twitching not saying a word.

Hayden heard footsteps and voices of soldiers approach the cabin. "This is security! Anybody in the vicinity and in the cabin is needed to show themselves! We have a problem and you all need to evacuate immediately!" A soldier with a megaphone exclaimed the warning for 3 times. He quickly searched for a place to hide, he wouldn't bother killing them. He was barely even recovering from the escape and he was out of life essence. He walked into a room with hunting trophies on the wall and a rusty old knife on the table. It was very dull, but it was all he had right now, so he took it and hid inside a closet.

3 government soldiers went inside the cabin, they each inspected one room. A soldier entered in the room and searched under the bed. This gave him time to sneak up on him and break his neck, he didn't try to kill him with the knife, since it was too dull. One soldier down. He took the soldier's rifle and readied it to make sure it shoots. Soldiers always had their guns switched to safe mode, it was SOP. He had his gun at the ready as he exited the room only to find two more soldiers, one in the small kitchen and one in the dining area, both of them didn't spot him, but they will soon. The kitchen and the dining area were close together, that means Hayden had no chance of silently killing both of them. If he kills the one in the kitchen, the soldier next to him would spot him. It was the same result in vice versa. Only choice was to shoot them both in a split second. So he did, he puts one round on the back of the soldier's head in the kitchen, and as the other soldier turns around to engage, he puts another round between his eyes. Both dead, but two rounds were loud enough to get the attention of the soldiers outside the cabin. So, he had to pretend that the soldier fired, "Hey! We got the prisoner! He needs a medic! Quick!" He exclaimed as if pretending to be the soldier. "Whoa, what? You got him? Nice." A soldier outside replied. Hayden readied crouched and readied his gun, aiming at the door, waiting for the time to shoot. Two soldiers came inside and spotted the bodies. But, it was too late for them, too. He put one round on the throat of the first soldier and one more round on the second soldier's forehead.

He walked outside of the cabin, nobody was there. Seems like everybody was already gone. Hayden was exhausted he really needed time to rest, but he knew he couldn't. Because every second counts. The whole government, maybe even the whole world, is against one man, and the man was him. It was time for him to act... time to defy the whole world. He made sure he wasn't going to kill any innocents anymore, that was his promise to his ancestors in Ragnavir. He took everything he needed from the cabin and from the soldiers' inventories. He took all their grenades and stacked them all in the living room. He carefully attached one grenade on the floor by using an eye lag screw to cling the screw together with the grenade's pin. Then, he also attached the same grenade with a corpse using a carbiner that hooked the opposite side of the grenade's pin where there was a small hooking slot. He then placed all the other grenades beside the adjusted grenade then hid all the grenades by putting the corpses on top of them.

This was Hayden's little surprise trap. Basically, if the government returns to the cabin, they'll spot the piled up corpses in the living room. And if they move the corpse that was tied to the grenade, the grenade goes with the corpse except for the grenade's pin that clung on the floor. This means that they basically accidentally pulled the pin of the grenade by moving the body, and once the grenade blows up, it creates a chain reaction that makes all the others explode. Estimated blast radius would be enough to reach anything 3 meters outside the cabin. These grenades were very powerful and Hayden was glad technology had not reached the part where they replace manually handled grenades like these. And yes, Hayden was going to make sure that it was the government that would find the cabin. More specifically, Amelie and Vulcan. He needed them out of his way. He needed to lure them both in the cabin.

He spent hours in the cabin, tweaking two phones for Hayden's purposes. He wants one phone to stay in the cabin and one he'd bring with him but the phone that he's bringing with him will be holding the location of the cabin even if Hayden's not. This is if in case the government tries to track the location of the phone Hayden's bringing, the other phone left in the cabin would intercept the government's trackers by making it pinpoint the phone in the cabin rather than the phone he's holding. Now, it was time to make the phone call. He remembered Vulcan and Amelie's phone number because of Claire's tablet. Maybe he should try and call Vulcan, that guy was getting in Hayden's nerves. He took his phone and left the cabin, heading straight towards the deep forest.

He then contacts Vulcan's phone and holds his phone beside his ear. "Surprise, surprise! Guess what, I'm out of prison! Hmph, I've never felt so alive like this, Vulcan. Oh, and I heard you tore the contract in front of Death's bony face? That's too bad for you, I had more challenge when you had those death powers with you. Hmmm, since I'm out of prison... Let's play a game. The rules are simple, you do what I say, and the little girl, Alpha, lives. But, if you don't do what I say, Alpha dies in the most horrible way you can think of. So, it's your decision, Vulcan... Are we playing the game or not? I mean I think you really should, because Alpha really wants to see you again. If you want to play, which you really should if I were you, just call this number back and we'll talk. No governments, no soldiers, just you, me, and Amelie if you want her by your side. If you don't call me back in 3 days, Alpha dies. I know what you're thinking, Vulcan. You think that Alpha's safe inside the prison and there's no way I can hurt her. Well... you thought wrong. I love blood, and Alpha has blood. My shard is inside her body right now, and I can activate it whenever I want to. So, do be quick with your decision... I'm running out of time. Goodbye!" Hayden ended the phone call and continued walking.

Of course, Hayden was lying to Vulcan. He doesn't have a shard in Alpha's body and she really doesn't mean any harm to the girl. He was just threatening Vulcan.
