Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Just as they were about to exit the room, Vulcan's watch, acting as a phone, indicated someone had left a message on his number. Vulcan tapped on the display and picked up. When he heard Hayden's voice on the other line, he let out a low quiet growl so that they both could hear the message. "Tell Alec to trace the phone. I'll call Alpha. The shard will need an entrance to her blood system. A simple scratch would be enough." he told Amelie as the record ended, already dialing Alpha. "Pick up... Pick up, girl!" he murmured impatiently as he was waiting for her to get the call. On the other hand, Alpha had managed to remove the shards from Amelie and Xander without any trace of them. She should be able to do the same to herself.

Amelie glanced at Vulcan as she went to put her suit on. Even after hearing the message, she remained calm. Alpha had never mentioned being harm, unless it was after their phone call.

Alpha heard the phone in her hand going off. Claire grabbed it from her and answered it. "We do not have time to talk. We have other issues to da with right now." And hung up. Alpha snatched the phone back and saw Vulcan's number. She moved into the back corner. "Alpha, we have other things to worry about!" Alpha glared at Claire. She knew that Hayden was gone and he could have hurtled her if he wanted to. Alpha dialed Vulcan's number again. "Vulcan?"

"Alpha! Straight to the point. If you have any cuts of scratches heal yourself. If not, do it nevertheless. You might have a blood shard in you." he said quickly, pacing in a small circle around the room.

"Hayden didn't even touch me....to be honest Vulcan it was weird. He could have killed everyone in the medical bay but instead he just paralyzed them." Amelie was listening. To her that was weird. Definitly not the Hayden she knew. The on who would kill whoever got in his way.

Vulcan sighed in relieve as he heard that Alpha hadn't even been touched. Nice try, Hayden. For how stupid did he take them. "I have long stopped looking for sense where there is none. I'm just glad you're okay." he said, now just a bit more calm. Hayden wouldn't return to the prison so as long as they stayed there, they would be safe.

"Vulcan...." There was a short silence. "You will protect her right?" By her, she meant Amelie. Knowing this Amelie tsked and got up to go to bathroom. Alpha talked in a lower voice. "I don't know how she will react to aeeing him again. He is the only one to be able to hurt her the way he did and you don't know what that did to her mentally...Amelie only needed me one time before that whole thing. Despite how she acts around everyone else, Amelie does get scared. Especially when it comes to her brother. She doesn't want him endangering himself by releasing Piper. I was surprise really. She would rather have everyone else die if that meant he could live"

"I will protect her with my life." he ensured her. He didn't know if he would be able to do it. But he would be damned if he didn't try. She meant everything to him and he wouldn't bear losing her. But they couldn't think of that. They were going against a one man army... no, a demon... and they would have to fight, not tremble and cover in fear before him. There was no point in trying to calm Alpha down. She knew what they were going up against. She wasn't a foolish little girl. In fact, she knew more about life and death than any of them together. "And her brother will be fine, of that I'm sure. Piper... is a friend." Vulcan was just hoping he was right. Piper seemed like a nice but extremely dangerous gifted. Just the thought of her dragon form caused shivers to go down his back. Who knew what they had done to her in that prison but he would at least expect her to be thankful for Alec's help and not kill him.
Richter stepped backwards. his heartbeat began rapidly accelerating as Hugo approached. . In one swift motion the agent raised his arm, summoning a Revolver as his hand lifted. "Alright, step back" Richter demanded, taking aim at the area between Hugo's eyes. "I mean it!" he yelled, motioning with his firearm for Hugo to keep his distance. His free hand began to shake in fear - whoever approached was no longer Hugo.
Braen stopped when the revolver appeared but didn't show any body language that he was scared or shocked. A voice that was similar to Hugo's but more sinister whispered in Richter's ear. "hahaha... look at you trembling and we haven't even gotten started yet. You are probably wondering why I have a mask on and why I have to talk to you using illusions of sound....well let me show you." Braen raised his hands and began to untie the knot behind his head that was holding the mask in place. One could see that his fingers had razor sharp nails that resembled claws. However, that was nothing compared to under the mask as when it fell It revealed 4 rows of crooked sharp teeth that fit into a humongous mouth that stretched across Braen's face until it ended just below his ears.

((I cant tell in this picture if its a boy or a girl and Braen has shorter hair....but you get the point))

Amelie could hear bits and pieces of their conversation. She didn't want to be in there if they were going to talk like she wasn't there. Hearing them talk about her brother, Amelie slammed the bathroom door open. "Piper helped us out once. She may be strong but I do not want to risk my brother being found just to free her." Yes, she told Alec that he should try and get Piper out but she had her own ways of stopping him without being the 'bad guy' in this situation. Being next in line for chief allowed her to make some powerful friends. While she was in the bathroom she had sent a message out to one of the agency's best programers. No matter how well Alec's computers are protected the virus will get in.

Once he got off the phone with Amelie, Alec began his work. Fist things first, he needed to find Hayden. Unfortunately, even though he can tell if someone is gifted or not, he couldn't tell if someone was gifted in pictures. And right now that was all he could get. It didn't help that they were evacuating the area. He slid his wheely chair over to another computer at a different desk. There he did a heat sensor. There, in the cabin. It's a sole dot. Now that he had an idea of where he was he could get working on Piper. He swiveled back to the original desk he was at and started coding. He smirked at how much easier it was for him to get into the system now that not many people were paying attention to it. He was actually able to get into the camera right outside pipers cell, as well as the tv. "Piper, I'm going to help you get out but we are going to need your help. Hayden has escaped and we need you to helps us take him down.....again." One of Alec's monitors start cutting out. He lost the tv signal but was still connected to the camera. The monitor that had the tv on it showed an error popping up. "What the..."

Alpha sighed after hearing Amelie's response. Sometimes she thought their ages were reversed. Amelie could be super protective and the only reason she knew about her brother was because the first time she healed her, Amelie was saying his name in her slumber. Alpha hung up the phone, she didn't want Amelie to hear anymore. She typed a message telling Vulcan to be careful for he hasn't seen the lengths she will go to protect her family. Right after she sent it a message popped up on her screen. 'I need you to heal Piper's wings. -A' If only I could get out of here without any issues.

Piper was still in a slight daze when she heard someone speaking to her through a microphone or something. Using the wall for balance to avoid any more dizzy spells, Piper moved back to her TV to see it cutting out of the usual programming and focusing on the person speaking. What was the name of the person who wanted to help her again? Alex? Alec? Still amazed that someone actually wanted to help her after she spent so many years assassinating GAs, Piper remained quiet. She supposed she was just lucky that her gift was powerful enough to convince someone that Piper could aid them. Getting out of this hellhole of a prison was more than enough encouragement for Piper to aid whoever was aiding her.

"Track the number already, you wretched wolf." Hayden said to himself, pertaining to Vulcan. He was sitting on a tree 30 meters away from the cabin for too long. He was growing impatient and had the doubts that maybe his death threat did not work on Vulcan. But, he wasn't that desperate. There was always another way. He took his phone out again and this time, he called Alpha's number. Hayden was lucky enough to get these contact numbers from Claire's tablet. If he can convince Alpha that she really has a blood shard inside of her, it would also convince Vulcan and Amelie.

"Hello? Alpha, deary. How are you? Are you okay? Listen, remember when I held your shoulders to calm you down? Yeah, uhmmm, I placed a blood shard inside of you that time and I don't think you can take the blood shard out. It's invisible, sweetie, it only shows itself up after 3 days and by that time, it's too late. That's why I put it there because I want something from Vulcan and if I get what I want, then you won't be in trouble anymore and I can easily dissolve the blood shard. So, please convince Vulcan that I wasn't lying about the blood shard and he needs to call me, okay sweetheart? Be safe." Hayden ended the call and placed the phone in his pocket again. He sighed deeply, "I shouldn't let Alpha be part of this fight, but if I really have to, then I should." He whispered to himself.

Hearing what Hayden said, Alpha began to panic. She had healed out the shards before but she doesn't even know where it is. Her body could get it out but if it wasn't viable how could she? No she needed to calm down. She had three days till it activated. Even then it probably wouldn't kill her. It would have to hit her heart to do that. Alpha knew the limitations of her gift but hats many don't know is that when it comes to her own body she can heal it without exhausting herself. She could use her own blood yo her advantage too. If there was some way she could inject him with it, it would kill him or at least weaken him. This poisonous blood of hers is her body's way of protecting it's self. "Hayden you fool. Threatening a healing like this. You may cause death but I bring life." She murmured. He was already off the phone with him, for she would never say something like that to him. Se dialed Amelie's number.

Alec was trying to work fast now. Something got into his computer and he didn't know what. "How is this possible. Almost nothing should be able to get in. He was only able to get the lock open on the cell before his computers crashed. "NO!" He had did it, but at what price? His prized computer was fried.

Amelie's phone started to ring. It surprised her since Alpha had been calling Vulcan. 'Since you will become the next chief, one of your main priorities Is to make sure I live. Hayden keeps calling me, I assume he got my number from Claire's tablet. We have tried tracking it but we can't find it. He said he was able to get a shard in me without me knowing. I can't get it out because I can't find or feel it. Don't panic though, I did at first but we have three days. He says he wants to see you two.' Amelie heard yelling jn the background ~Claire.~ and then the phone being taken. "Agent Amelie. If Hayden is wanting to see you he might want that rebellion girl. If we could make a deal in exchange for her freedom to get him back in chains we should.' Amelie sighed, Unfortunently Claire was right. She didn't want to release Kytha but she would if It meant putting Hayden back in jail. "Alright. I will see what I can do." Amelie would need to talk to the chief about it first to be able to release a prisoner like Kytha. It was not under her juristiction.

Vulcan listened carefully to the conversation, trying to catch everything from it. "Freeing one monster to cage another." he murmured and crossed his arms. "Kytha won't rest until she gets all of them out, especially her brother." he added. This wasn't a good plan but it could potentially turn into a trap.

"Well what are we supposed to do!?" Amelie yelled. "At least she didn't go around killing innocent people. As much as I dislike those two I rather have them out then Hayden. " Amelie hung up on Alpha. ~Why did Xander have to be in that coma? He would have something to say about this.~

Vulcan stayed silent for a moment, not knowing what to say. She was right and wrong at the same time. They didn't know what could happen. But what choice did they have. They didn't stand a chance against this demon among men. And even if they caught him, how could they be sure he wouldn't escape again... "Maybe we should try and talk with Kytha, let her know that Hayden is free and see her reaction. She did have a liking for him and it almost seemed like he did too."

"Fine." Amelie put on her jacket and put her phone in the pocket. She thought being back in Germany was going to bring her life back to normal. Going to the states was the worse thing that has happened to her. Yes she has Vulcan now but even then, all this trouble because of some stupid rebles. "Well let's go." Her ice companion formed next to her. It stayed right up next to her as she walked out of the room, her hand rested on its head.

"She won't talk to you. She hates you more than me." he said but still followed her out of the room. "Let me handle this. Inform the agents. They should know what they are up against." he added. Kytha was blaming Amelie for everything that has happened to them so she wouldn't talk to her. He was just hoping she wasn't as mad at him and would at least be honest.

Xander suddenly stood up straight, still in his odd, ghost-like state. Furrowing his brows with concern, Xander watched as both Amelie and Vulcan exited her room. Wasting no time, Xander walked right up to Vulcan and exclaimed, "Vulcan, mate! What the hell is going on around here?" Course, Xander had no idea if Vulcan would be able to hear him, but Xander had to try. For added measures, Xander even put his hand on Vulcan's shoulder, hoping for some kind of reaction.

Piper whipped around suddenly when she heard her cell door opening. Despite still having her power-restricting handcuffs on and her wings remaining damaged for the timebeing, Piper sprinted out of her cell and down the nearest hallway. Fromwhat she could tell, the guards had all left the area for something big going down. Skidding to a halt and hiding around a corner, Piper watched as two guards sprinted past her. She needed to find someone who could help her get out of here. Surely there was a more elaborate plan of escape beyond this Alec person just opening her door for her. Checking that the coast was clear, Piper then began sprinting down hallways and checking doors, praying that one would be unlocked and lead her to potential freedom.

"Alright, keep me updated" She turned on her com and started talking. "All GA'S report to the conference room for an emergency meeting." She repeated the message a few times and started walking the opposite direction that Vulcan would need to go. Her wolf padding along beside her.

Tucker was quiet for a while, his mind jumping everywhere while he tried to understand what was going on. Sitting upright suddenly, Tucker realized with a start that he was most likely in a coma. That would make sense considering everything that had happened so far. Standing up from his seat in the medical bay, Tucker wondered if he'd be able to communicate with someone. But who? Nobody seemed to be keen on visiting Tucker, though this didn't surprise him. Sighing, Tucker then suddenly thought of Kytha. She wouldn't be given the option to visit him, so why not visit her? Knowing very well how this prison worked, Tucker began making his way to solitary confinement, more than certain that Kytha would be there.

Larassa let out a small sigh, as she made her way through the Pentagon. Luckily, Larassa made everyone so nervous around her that the crowds dispersed like the red sea to allow Larassa easy passage. Soon, she got into a more desolate area, which was where the more classified materials and situations were handled. It was also where Larassa's destination was. Upon finding the door that would lead Larassa to the interrogation room, Larassa halted before the man in the business suit standing by the door. Surely this was the man who would give Larassa all of the necessary details, right? Keeping a neutral face and even tone, Larassa met the man's gaze and then asked, "Care to fill me in on the details of what I'll be dealing with here?"

Vulcan nodded at that but just as he did, he felt a very slight shiver running down from his shoulder down his back. He held nothing of it, thinking it was only his body reacting to all the stress in the past couple of minutes. Once they were out, he headed for the solitary confinement. To get there however he had to pass by the medical labs. As he was standing in front of the building he looked up to the window of the two patients' room, sighed and walked on. He had no time to waste. Vulcan continued to the underground confinement and after stating that he was being sent by agent Glass, he was let in, undergoing all the identification process nevertheless. The secretary had told him the number of Kytha's cell so he walked straight there. Once he was standing in front of the door, he looked to both sides, making sure there was no one else in the hallway, then opened the cell using his watch. He knew he wasn't supposed to do that but this way they would have a more close up conversation. And besides, she wasn't going through him, especially with her power restricting handcuffs on. Once the door was opened, Vulcan walked in, closed it immediately afterwards and leaned his back on it. "Hey, Kytha." he greeted her calmly.
