Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Kytha tucked her arms between her legs and chest when the guard came up to her. She felt horrible and didn't know what to do anymore but she wasn't wearing cuffs ever again. She leaned her head on her knees before standing up and heading to the medical bay, after all, the entire side of her face was bleeding, her eye had been stuck shut since then, the gash in her shoulder from the ice shard still was bleeding quite a bit, and her other shoulder had a pretty good burn on it. It felt like her throat did too.

Amelie looked at him with worried eyes before nodding. "Can someone let Hugo out of the cell? I want him helping escort the other prisoner." "Roger that." A guard said on the other end. "If you aren't in the medical bay by the time I'm done I'm coming for you and dragging you over there." Sh said and headed towards the medical bay. When she walked in, Alpha was so concentrated on Xander she didn't even notice she was there. She took a seat in one of the other beds and waited patiently.

If Alpha wanted to heal all of his wounds it would take hours. Instead she healed him to the point where he wasn't in critical danger. This took her about a half hour since she was at full health. Coming out of it, Alpha sensed Amelie's presence. "IS anyone else this badly injured?" "Larassa should be here soon. Can you just heal my arm so it has a new layer of skin?" Alpha nodded. The ice on Amelie's arm melted as Alpha came over and placed her hands on the arm. It only took a few minutes before it healed. When she was done Amelie laid back on the bed and sighed. She had no idea what she was going to the chief.

The guard went after Kytha. "Prisoner! You need the cuffs on!"

Larassa arrived in the medical bay shortly after Alpha finished working on Amelie's arm. Limping past the pair, Larassa then grunted as she sat down on the edge of one of the cots. Looking up at Alpha, Larassa said in a coarse voice, "I probably need a bit of healing." Larassa's fox ear had been butned badly to the point where there was no fur left and the skin had blisters on it. There was dried blood below both of her ears. Her tail was burned pretty badly and missing most of the fur. Her hands and feet were burned with random patches of fur still intact. Luckily, Larassa had been wearing her bulletproof and fireproof suit, but she'd breathed in a lot of smoke and so her breaths were ragged now and her lungs and throat had been burned as a result.

Hearing the guard call her prisoner she snarled and spun around. "Don't call me that. And tell me I need them again. I dare you." Even though he was mad at what she did, and was gonna have scars, she would fight again even though she really didnt want to. Sighing, Kytha realaxed her shoulders and dragged a hand down her face. "They the ones connected or not connected?"

The gaurd really didn't want to deal with anymore issues. "They are not connected." He walked up to her.

"Oh my." Alpha ran over to Larassa. "You were just in here earlier too. Two sessions might not be very good for your body." Even with that said Alpha placed her fingers fingers on Larassa's temples since her chest was covered. She closed her eyes and began the healing process. The skin on her ears healed and then fur started to grow back. Burns were easy for her too heal so this, too didn't take too long. When she was done Alpha removed her fingers. She felt exauhsted. Hopefully no kne else was severely injured.

Hugo heard someone walking up to the cell. As Toron he went to the bars expecting Tucker but it was just a guard. Turning back into himself he said. "I'm assuming you are here to let me out?" "Yep, Amelie wants you to escort the other prisoner?" The guard said unlocking the cell. Hugo stepped out and walked past the guard without even glancing at him. Hugo always felt superior in power whenever he talked to anyone perhaps it was because he is the only person to have the gift of Illusions. He tried to stop it as he knew it could be his downfall. He often thought about how he got his power. Perhaps it's a mutation of a different power? And Braen was just a side effect? He used to think whenever he was lying in bed. Walking to where the fight took Hugo looked at the destruction seared walls, cracked floors I wish I was here. Hugo really wanted to show what he could do in battle considering some underestimated him because his power couldn't physically hurt anyone. Hugo walked into the medical bay thinking I hope this incident helps them forget about what I did. Seeing Amelie Hugo said "What prisoner am I to escort and where do I take 'em?"

The gaurd took Kytha to the medical bay. When she came in Alpha looked up at her from Amelie's side and sighed. "Of course you were involved." The gaurd moved aside as Alpha came up to her. "You don't need to heal her all the way. We still have the other prisoner and Vulcan that need to be healed." Amelie called from her spot in bed. Alpha nodded. She healed up the burn just enough to where the flesh was a bright prink, she healed her eyes enough to wear she should partially be able to open it and healed the gash on her arm leaving a scar. After Alpha took a seat and one of the nurses brought her some water.

"She is the one you are going to escorting. I'm not taking anymore chances. If she gets out of control again I want you to put her in an illusion." Amelie just laid in the bed. She preferably didn't want to move.

The two gaurds looked at each other and then back at Tucker. "Your gift is too valuable. We haven't seen anyone do what you can and we don't plan on letting you go." The woman said. At this moment a man in a lab coat came running up to them with a suit. When he reached the them he stopped and took a few breaths before talking. "I've brought the suit Lady Amelie asked for." He walked over to Tucker. "Is itt safe to put it on?" The woman shook her head and went to put the power restricting cuffs on. The ones that weren't connected so they could get the suit on.

Tucker gritted his teeth upon hearing what the woman said. This was messed up. He was a human, not just something to poke and prod for their scientific means. Seeing the man running up with a new suit, Tucker's eyes widened and his heart sped up rapidly, to a point where a normal human probably would've had a heart attack, but not for Tucker. Looking between the agents, Tucker gulped upon seeing the handcuffs coming his way. No, he couldn't let this happen again. Not after getting this far. Grunting, Tucker quickly got to his feet, fighting back the wave of vertigo that followed. Shaking his head, Tucker said, "No, I won't go back to that hellhole. Not again..." He then stumbled to the side and in a concussive boom, he disappeared in a red blur, headed straight for the door into the prison area.

Vulcan was standing a bit to the side of where the guards and agents were trying to contain Tucker, giving them enough space to work with. But then he saw him get up from the ground and refusing to be taken in. Vulcan immediately ran towards him, intending to knock him back to the ground or unconscious but until he got there, Tucker was gone. He watched him head for the prison area and at first wondered what he might be up to but then remembered how easily his paw had slipped through his chest. That potentially meant that he would also be able to pass through the cell bars and possibly carry prisoners out. "Send all agents to the prison area!" he roared at the guards standing there, then began running towards the prison area as well, trying to go as fast as he could and ignore the pain in his leg. He didn't know what he would be able to do with Tucker at his max speed but that didn't mean he shouldn't try.

As Tucker neared the door in seconds, he was just about to prepare himself to phase through it, but suddenly another agent or guard appeared at the door. As Tucker hit the brakes to avoid a head-on collision, the man raised a shotgun up and aimed it right at Tucker. With no time to avoid the bullets since Tucker was already trying to stop, he could only close his eyes and brace for impact. Suddenly, there was a concussive sound from the shotgun and Tucker felt numerous bullets tearing through his left side, upper chest, shoulder, arm, and hand. Opening his eyes wide in pain, Tucker finally halted right in front of the man who had shot him. Blood began soaking and staining his uniform on the side and sleeve, as Tucker took a shaky step backwards and then slumped to his right side, landing on top of his right arm that he'd stitched and put in a cast earlier. Gasping for breath, Tucker's eyes rolled into the top of his head, as his now bloodied fingers twitched. As Tucker passed out, he managed to push himself onto his back, and then he was out cold. Each of Tucker's breaths became more erratic than the last, as one of the bullets had punctured one of his lungs on top of everything else. Another bullet had punctured a kidney and Tucker was losing blood, fast, and it was beginning to collect at the left side of his body, in a small pool.

"Fair enough." Hugo replied turning to the prisoner. "Come on let's take a trip to solitary confinement." He said impatiently waiting for Kytha to walk in front of him.

Sh3w0lfSp1r1t said:
Silently, ky stood up and walked up to him. "I don't know where I'm going so why should I walk in front?"
"So I can keep a eye on you. I'll tell you the way." sighing Hugo then said "Now come on this way." He said pointing towards the door to exit the medical bay.

Ky turned and began whistling as she walked. Not a care in the world as she was being led to probably a good while of being alone.

((sorry ate dinner))

Hugo walked close behind her ignoring her whistling when they came to a set of halls Hugo ordered "Right," God this is boring Hugo thought to himself.

The guards ran after Tucker int he direction they think they saw him run. Stumbling upon the scene of Tucker unconscious on the ground with bullets in him, the guards started to panic a little. The woman calmed down first and spoke into her com. "Umm Lady Amelie, we have a problem." Hearing someone talk to her in the com, Amelie sat up. "What is it now?" She growled. "The speedster has been shot."" "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Amelie screamed into the com. "How bad is it?" There was a hesitant pause before the woman responded. "Pretty bad. We need the medic here now." Amelie didn't say anything to that but got up from the bed. "Alpha, follow me." I'm sorry Vulcan but you might have to wait for your wounds to heal on their own. Alpha was looking at Amelie since she began screaming. "Is something the matter?" She asked in a soft voice. "Yes, Tucker was shot." Alpha's eyes widened at this. Getting the shards out of the body was a very difficult task.

As Amelie started walking at a brisk pace, Alpha followed. When they showed up at the scene, Richter still looked shaken up. Amelie sighed. She didn't want to yell at the man and make things worse, after all he was just doing his job. Alpha ran over to Tucker and her hands started to glow, scanning over his body. "I need to take the bullets out now and heal up the organs" She closed her eyes in concentration. Tucker was going to be in a lot of pain but there was nothing she could do about it. Getting the bullets out meant they had to pop out through the skin again and that was going to be the most painful part.

Suddenly, Tucker's eyes shot open, as he woke from unconsciousness in absolute agony. Screaming, he lurched forward a few inches and then collapsed back onto his back. Red lightning laced through his eyes, as Tucker gasped and then gritted his teeth while closing his eyes for a moment and looking upwards. Clenching his good hand tightly, Tucker felt his fingernails digging into his skin and causing small, minor cuts in his palm. As the initial pain settled into an immensely throbbing sensation, Tucker became vaguely aware of the metal pieces scattered in his body slowly being pushed out. In what felt like an hour of agony, but was really more like five minutes, the metal pieces soon all began to appear and then gather around Tucker's body, as they came out of his bullet wounds and then rolled off of him.

Once the bullets were all out of his body, Tucker lay still, panting heavily and sweating from the agony of what he just had to go through. Blood had completely soaked through his uniform on his right side, shoulder, and arm all the way down to his hand. With all of the blood, it was hard to tell the actual extent of the injuries to his body, but despite the low chance of survivability, Tucker's gift hadn't been restricted yet and so his enhanced healing was still kicking in and aiding Alpha's healing gift in keeping Tucker at least stable for now. Tucker was blankly staring up into the dome above him, his thoughts everywhere in the moment. In these few seconds of pause between the healing and agonizing pain, all Tucker could think about was how unlucky he was to still be breathing. He'd had a chance to finally die and escape this hellhole, but they'd kept him from dying in peace, even if it had been a brutal way to go. No matter how many times Tucker tried to help himself or anyone else, it only seemed to worsen his life. Which was surprising considering he was pretty sure it was already at its lowest point.

Tucker then blinked and saw his vision was going blurry and then focusing again, repeatedly. He could feel his energy wavering and then he realized that he was having an extremely hard time breathing, his breaths coming in short and his heart racing to try and pump out more oxygen for him to breath. Did a bullet puncture one of my lungs? This was the last thing Tucker thought before his eyes rolled into the top of his head and he lost consciousness for the second time in the past ten minutes.

When Tucker lurched forward Alpha's eye snapped opened. All she wanted to do was tell the man to stop moving but she knew that it would never reach his head. After all, all he could probably think about at the moment was the amount of pain her was going through. Despite how young she was, Alpha was very composed at the scene unfolding. She had dealt with people like this many times since she started actually working, but for some reason, deep inside she was panicking a little. If he didn't calm down soon the bullets could cause more damage. When his body finally stopped moving, well at least as much as it was before, Alpha managed to get all the pieces out. At this point she was sweating hard and out of breath. Just a little bit longer! When Tucker went unconscious again, Alpha felt relieved. It wasn't a good and bad thing. It was good because she wouldn't have anymore issues with him moving, it was bad because he was in so much pain that it happened. She managed to heal up all the important organs and muscles before her hand stopped glowing. Her body swayed and then she almost fell backwards but Amelie was right behind her and held her up.

Hearing the screaming at first caused Amelie to panic, but seeing how composed Alpha was calmed her down a bit. When Alpha's hands stopped glowing, but there were cuts still open on Tucker, Amelie knew that Alpha did all she could with the amount of energy she had left. Seeing the little girl's body move, she knelt down and held her against her. "You did good." She whispered to Alpha, who only nodded in return. "And It's ok Richter. I understand people make mistake especially during a situation like this. If you hadn't have shot him he would have escaped with prisoners. Just please always have your ammunition as tranquilizers unless told otherwise. We don't need something like this happening again." If they didn't have Alpha, Amelie had no Idea what the organization would do. This girl was a life savior. "You two, go get a stretcher and bring him to the medical bay." The two guards nodded and ran off. Amelie suddenly felt weight leaning against her and looked down. Alpha had passed out from exhaustion. She would need to bring her back to her room, but at the moment Amelie just wanted to sit and rest for a moment.

Vulcan had reached Tucker just seconds after he had collapsed to the ground. He stopped next to the unconscious dying body and lowered his head to hear and smell what was going on on the inside of his body. His ears were twitching to perceive the condition of his lungs and heart. Tucker was barely breathing and his heart rushing, bumping blood but also losing a lot of it. In addition, bullets have pierced his stomach and intestines. If he didn't die of the blood loss, he would perish from infections. Whatever the case, if Alpha didn't arrive soon, he would be dead in less than half an hour. When, after just a couple of minutes, Alpha arrived, Vulcan stepped to the side and sat down, leaving her to work. He couldn't help out in any way right now except see to it that Tucker was going nowhere after being healed. When it all ended and he saw the exhausted Alpha feinting in Amelie's arms, he stood up and walked up to the two girls. "Maybe we should bring her to her room. She'll need to sleep. And so do I." he said and lay down for Amelie to bring Alpha onto his back.

Amelie was hesitant on letting Vulcan carry Alpha. He was injured and don't want him to have to do that but she, herself, was exhausted and could make a wolf to carry the girl. "Alright. Just take your time carrying her." Amelie picked up Alpha and placed her onto his back. After she did Alpha sighed from the heat radiating off of Vulcan's body and her hands curled onto his fur as a small smile formed on her lips. By now the two gaurds came back with the stretcher. "Make sure the nurses fix him up the best way they can. He is going to be out for a while along with Xander" The two nodded and began to cautiously pick up Tucker and placed him on the stretcher a Xander's lead him away. Watching them leave Amelie felt exhaustion hit her. It's been a stressful day and not sleeping well the last few nights didn't help. "Richter, if you don't mind I'm going to deal with the rest of the problems later. If anything pops up tell them I'm busy and don't want to be disturbed." She was going to get so much shit for this once it reached her higher ups and really didn't want to think about it. No matter what though, she wanted to make sure Alpha made it to her room. "Her room is on the same floor on mine, just a few doors down" She waited for him to move to start moving as well.

When Alpha was placed on his back he stood up and waited for Amelie to finish giving orders before starting to walk towards the dorms. When they entered, Vulcan shifted with Alpha in his arms and got into the elevator, waiting for Amelie to press the button for the needed floor. He wanted to get to his room, get cleaned up and get some sleep.

Amelie pressed the button to their floor. It was silent in the elevator. She didn't particularly want to chit chat and she doubt Vulcan did either. Once it's openee, she lead him down the isle, past her room, and to Alpha's. Once she opened the door she loves aside so he could get in. Seeing him carry the little girl made her thunk back on what she though where going to be her final moments. She wanted kids with the man she loved, but at this moment she doubted it would ever happen. Once wh as t happened here reaches the Chiefs ear she doubted he would ever give her the promotion. Looking over Vulcan's body in his human form made her feel bad that Alpha couldn't heal him. "I'm sorry that Alpha couldn't heal your major wounds. If Tucker hadn't gotten shot she would have had enough energy to do so."

Vulcan entered the room and gently lay Alpha on the bed, pulling the blanket over her. "I mostly need some rest. The wounds aren't deep, so your boyfriend won't be left a scarface, don't worry." he said as he walked out of the room and headed for his own. Once he was there, he unlocked it and sat on the bed, taking his boot off. As expected, his ankle was swollen and bruised. The bone was intact and in place but it still hurt and felt uncomfortably warm. He would have to put some ice on it once he was done cleaning himself up. He stood up and walked into the bathroom, looking himself in the mirror. His face was smeared with blood, his mouth as well and not even with his own. Strands of his hair that were burnt and parts of his skin were kinda red from rather minor burns. Looks like it was time for a haircut. But that could wait. He also remembered the claw wounds on his back. He started taking off the rest of his clothes and got into the shower to wash the dirt and blood off. When he was getting out, he wondered if Amelie was still there. He kinda wanted to ask her to make him some ice for the swollen ankle.

When Larassa heard that Tucker had been shot, she'd stayed back in the medical bay, knowing that she'd be of no use in such a medical situation. Standing up from the cot she'd been sitting on, Larassa stretched a bit and then walked over to Xander. Looking him over, Larassa was amazed to know he was still breathing after what he'd been through. Suddenly, the main doors to the medical bay slammed open and two guards rushed in with Tucker on a stretcher. Larassa quickly helped the guards move the prisoner onto a bed and then she stepped back to let the medical staff do their job. It looked like Alpha had done as much as she could, though Tucker was still bleeding a bit from his numerous bullet wounds. The medical staff quickly cut off the top of Tucker's suit and then they went to work stitching each of Tucker's bullet wounds. After nearly ten minutes passed, all of the bullet wounds had finally been stitched. One of the nurses then began carefully wiping the dried and fresh blood off of Tucker's right side of his chest, shoulder, and arm. While she did this, a doctor carefully removed the remnants of the cast on Tucker's left forearm. Seeing the swollen, purple and black forearm along with the poorly done stitches, the doctor shook his head and mumbled to himself before he removed the stitches. Cleaning the wound properly, the doctor then noted that there was a fracture in the bone on top of the deep bite wound. After setting the fracture with some small metal screws and rods, the doctor then stitched up the wound neatly. Letting the nurse clean up the blood from his work, the doctor walked to Tucker's other side and examined all of the bullet wounds to make sure they were good. The nurse finished cleaning up the blood around and on the left forearm so she moved out of the doctor's way. The doctor was soon satisfied with the stitching on the bullet wounds and ordered a nurse to carefully wrap his right arm from his fingers to his shoulder in order to keep the stitches and wounds from being possibly reopened or damaged in this fragile state. While the nurse got to work with this, the doctor then went to Tucker's left side again to inspect the claw wound on his side. Looking it over, the doctor was amazed to see that it'd already healed on its own and was just a scar now. Satisfied with how Tucker was looking now, the doctor ordered another nurse to wrap Tucker's chest for the bullet wounds on his right side. He then ordered yet another nurse to wrap Tucker's left forearm and ordered the same nurse to put an IV in Tucker's left hand since his other hand was badly damaged.
