Futuristic Those That are Hunted

The moment he was released, Tucker wasted no time in shoving his arm back into place, gasping as he knew the numbness would wear off shortly. Sprinting away from the shifter and Kytha, Tucker soon found himself inside a random hallway of the prison. Slumping with his back against a wall, Tucker closed his eyes and hugged his injured arm to his body. Breathing heavily, Tucker knew he was injured badly. Despite all of the pain he was feeling, he couldn't move his fingers or his hand beyond the injured forearm. His side was still burning from the deep scratches as well. He was going to have some nasty scars from all of this in the end.

(Time freezing everything until we get Amelie's reaction up to this point)

Hearing the racket outside the building, started moving forward. she put her hand up to let the soldiers know not to follow. Opening the door, her wolf ran out ahead of her. when the wolf reached the group it howled. Hearing the howl, Amelie took off, sword forming in hand. it didn't take long for her to get to them. Seeing the condition Vulcan was in, she instantly felt guilty that she hadn't come sooner. Seeing Tucker run away , she nodded her head in the direction her went and her wolf went after him. Because of Tucker's speed, she would have never caught up with him and she doesn't have the sense of smell her wolf has. Looking back her mind finally processed Kytha. "of f*cking course you are involved with this. I'm tired of you making things so difficult. Why can't you just behave?" Amelie's grip on her sword tightened, and her ice armor slowly formed. She looked down at Vulcan, her eyes filled with worry. "Vulcan, rest. I'll take care of this." She looked back up at Kytha, her sword pointed at her. " Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way."

"Well I guess we will see how it turns out" Hugo said walking into the cell and sitting down on the bed. He then materialized a ball and threw it against the wall and caught it again repeatedly.

Locking the cell door behind Hugo, Larassa frowned yet again and said pointedly, "Prisoners aren't given items to play with like that ball. It's making noise and if that speedster rushes the pair here then they'll catch you with the ball and instantly know you're not Toron." It was as if this guy was oblivious to the world. He was quickly becoming a headache for Larassa.

Tucker cursed to himself again, but quickly bit his tongue when heard something rapidly approaching him. Whoever or whatever it was, it sounded odd, but definitely like it was an animal considering the sound of the gait and the four consecutive strikes to the floor. Struggling back to his feet, Tucker kept his injured arm hugged against his chest, knowing that he needed some kind of makeshift splint and sling for it before it got in the way during another fight. Or...the medical bay! Tucker grinned to himself at this realization and then quickly sprinted away from the approaching animal, bursting outside and passing through the plaza in a blur before bursting into the medical bay and skidding to a halt.

Xander soon approached the door leading outside and opened it before glancing back to make sure Richter was still following him. Xander then continued outside, but immediately halted upon seeing an injured Vulcan, Kytha, and Amelie in the open field already. The last person Xander wanted to see right now was Amelie.

The ball vanished and Hugo said "So.. What are you going to do? Keep me company?" He said sarcastically.

Hearing the words from Amelie Kytha was enraged. "I'm done with all your nonsense! You would be doing exactly this if you were in my position! I don't care if you can't understand me or if I have to say it again when I'm human!"

Her body began getting even larger. Tufts of fur replaced by different fur, feathers, and scales. Wings sprouted for her back half bird half beast. A magnificent size increase was also added along with her front left paw becoming wolf, back left becoming dragon, and her back right becoming owl. Her head mutilated to a mixture between the 4 animals as her colouring changed and became pure white, bright , shades of brown, and sleek black. Her dragon tail sprouted along with her wolf, and owl. All four coming out her rear side and swaying. Her eyes went dark and she felt an angry burst of energy as she let out a roar with the loudness of the four along with a shrill screeching sound, an angry howl, the grunting roar of a bear, and the eery yet unique sound of a dragons. She pounded the probably 6-8 times bigger bear paw on the ground. Under her was a rumble when the huge thing struck.

She was having none of this. If she went down, hell, it won't be without a fight. "You will NEVER, look down on me again!" The second ferocious roar rumbled and it turned even Kytha's own stomach. She may be only half of that other shifters fight but even a poke from her would hurt like hell. Not to mention if she smoked then shot a ball of fire, the entire smoke would burst into flames.

(A poke would be deadly? This sounds rather OP to me...I can understand it being strong, but that's pushing it in my opinion)

Larassa narrowed her eyes and then said bluntly, "No." She then turned on her heel and began heading towards the plaza, curious now as to what the ruckus was that she'd heard earlier.

Not deadly but hurt like hell due to the fact that the power in each animal is multiplied to match the Dixon in order to create balance while also ensuring more power to hurt, if not, kill with therefore the power is being maximized to full potential in order for this balance to do so.

More size = more strength.

When Kytha began to grow, all her animal forms getting parts of her body, Vulcan knew exactly what was happening to her. He just couldn't believe she would lose herself to the rage so much. Poly-Therians didn't have the same connection with their creatures spirits like Mono-Therians did. When in an extremely emotional state, the brain didn't know what body to call upon, so it summoned all of them at the same time, creating a hydra. But this monstrosity was much more dangerous. It had dragon in the mix. Following the logic of strength and speed, this creature may be strong but not agile. Because of all the muscle mass, sharp turns were hard to make. Vulcan's pack instinct immediately kicked in as he saw it. Predators that hunted in packs were able to take down prey multiple times larger than them. Their strength was in numbers. And that's why every creature in the animal kingdom feared them. He quickly turned to Amelie and roared, so loud that others in the area would hear too. "Spread out! Keep moving and keep throwing whatever you've got at it!" By the looks of it, its body wasn't completely covered by the dragon scales, so theoretically, Amelie's shards should be able to pierce its thick hide, while Xander's fire should be able to turn it into a living torch.

For a moment all Amelie could do was stare at the creature Kytha turned into. It was at this moment she wish she had taken her brother's offer on living with him and leaving this job. She snapped out of it when she heard Vulcan's roar. Hearing what he had to say she nodded. Tucker was originally her top priority but since the dome was closed in they could always get him later. Her sword shattered, and she could feel the connection to her wolf dissapear as it shattered too. "We need all GA's to the plaza. Our top priority changed to the prisoner Kytha. I still want a few of you to search for Tucker." She may want everyone here but she didn't want to give Tucker time to recover. Amelie started backing away so she could get some distance from the creature before facing bother her palms and shooting her shards at it. She aimed for the parts that didn't have dragon scales.

"Stay light on your feet. Don't let her get near you. Try to damage her wings first. We need to keep her grounded." he roared once more and as Amelie began sending shards towards her unscaled parts, Vulcan began trotting in a circle around Kytha. He came closer and then ran back out of reach, teasing and provoking her, watching the tail and wings. He would have to wait for the right moment to go for the muzzle or throat. If she tried attacking one of them, preferably him, she would expose some part of herself for the others to strike at.

Xander stopped gaping and snapped out of it once he heard Amelie's orders and then ran closer to Kytha so he'd have better aim at her and avoid blasting any friends. Noting the wings, Xander quickly sent two small fireballs at them, knowing that the fire would burn holes in the wings if they struck. For now, he used his normal flames since he didn't want to permanently maim Kytha, but just bring her down and stop her from hurting any of the other agents.

Larassa heard the orders over the radio and sprinted to the plaza, throwing her shoulder against the door before skidding to a halt outside to see Kytha's chimera form. What the hell? Shaking her head, Larassa then closed her eyes and focused on her shifting into her full form. Slowly, half of her body began to change into that of a werefox, while the other half became a werewolf. Opening her eyes, Larassa then calmly began walking closer to Kytha, her fists on clenched at her sides. Her fox fist soon became engulfed in a blue fire while her wolf fist became engulfed in lightning bolts that danced about her fist. Still, Larassa held herself back, knowing that the last thing she needed to do was harm a friendly with everyone fighting Kytha as well.

Tucker quickly sprinted about the medical bay and soon had several medical equipment laid out on a cot. Sitting himself down in a chair by the bed, Tucker quickly grabbed the needle and the tiny bottle of morphine. It was definitely a struggle to work with his badly injured arm, but he had no one else to aid him and so he'd have to help himself. Not like that was anything new to him anyways. Filling the needle with morphine, Tucker then set the empty bottle back on the bed. Keeping the needle on his thigh, Tucker then grabbed the rag he'd found and then tied it as tightly as he could on his arm, just below the shoulder and above the bicep. While his forearm was a disaster, he still needed the morphine in the damaged arm area. Grabbing the needle, Tucker then slowly put it in just below the elbow and before the major injury. Pushing the morphine inside of himself, Tucker then pulled the empty needle out and set it aside before sitting back in his chair and waiting for the morphine to kick in.

Manjano continued frowning and then sat up in his chair while crossing his arms over his chest. "So, you want me to hunt my own kind or rot away in a cell? What the hell is this kind of organization? What's wrong with you people?" How could they expect him to make such a decision? Manjano would feel eternally guilty for hunting his own kind. At the same time, rotting away in a cell for the rest of his life was not exactly appealing either.

"We believe you know who we are and what we do. So how about we give you a few minutes to think this over. You know, there are other ways too. But those guys won't treat you as kind as we are at the moment." the voice replied and the mics were off. The room was silent.

Manjano continued frowning after the interrogator went silent. This was really messed up and despite them mentioning other ways, Manjano doubted they really meant it. Looking down at his handcuffs, Manjano tried to concentrate on his gift, willing it to come back, but nothing happened after a few seconds. Letting out a frustrated breath, Manjano then stood up and began pacing in front of the mirror while looking down at the ground. This wasn't exactly a simple decision to make, but at the same time, there was no way that Manjano was about to just let himself rot away in a cell. Maybe he could agree to be an agent and then make small mistakes here and there to help gifteds escape without the other agents finding out.

"Stubborn. But he'll break. They all do." the interrogators discussed. They would wait for the boy to state his decision but they already knew he was going to accept. He didn't look happy about it but they were all like this at first. After a couple of weeks and a couple of times out in the field, they changed. Gifted were dangerous and they didn't deserve to lead normal lives, didn't deserve to even walk the streets freely around normal people. More than half of the government staff was brainwashed, forced to do their bidding or be put down.

Manjano cursed under his breath and ran both of his hands through his recently cut hair in frustration. Then, he finally stopped his pacing. Not looking at the mirror this time, he then said, "Fine, I'll do it. I'll work for you." Now shifting his gaze to the mirror and dropping his hands in front of himself, Manjano decided against adding that he'd never enjoy his work. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to show that much resistance or rebellious nature after agreeing to work for them.

"So be it." the voice replied simply and after a couple of minutes, the doors were opened, agents and guards coming in to escort him further, including the bender and non-gifted. "Come along now, worst part's over." the bender said quietly and mentioned him towards the exit. They wouldn't be taking the cuffs off just yet.

Manjano turned to face the doors when they opened and then frowned upon seeing the agents and guards. He just agreed to work with them and they're still treating him like he's murdered someone? What in the world? Upon seeing the bender though, Manjano narrowed his eyes. He didn't like this guy one bit because he'd aided in taking that Piper girl down. If there was one thing that Manjano would be ultimately satisfied in seeing was screwing up that bender's life one way or another. Hearing what the bender said, Manjano decided against responding sarcastically and then began walking towards the exit while keeping his head facing forward, wondering when his handcuffs would be removed.

Seeing ice shards kythas scales began changing blue and red in certain areas mixing in both powers. Blue for the smoke that felt like a solid, along with red for the wispy fire.

A large fireball shot from her jaws destroying all shards in its path and heading straight for Amelie. Hearing fire she lifted up the dragon part of her wing and deflected them back at Xander. She didnt even need to look at Vulcan to know where he was before sharply taking a kick at him with her back right claw.

This wasn't working as he had planned. Not at all! Seeing the incoming claws, Vulcan managed to jump to the side but because of his hurting and now slightly swollen leg, they managed to leave some scratches along his side. He quickly recovered from the pain as the wound wasn't deep and charged at her head, ready to bite at her, intending to pull her away from Amelie. He didn't worry about Xander for he was fire-proof.

Ignoring the fire that struck him, Xander let out a small grunt and then sprinted towards Amelie. Skidding to a halt near her, Xander then held his hands up with his palms facing the fire that Kytha had shot at Amelie, taking control over it. The fireball quickly stopped in place before getting closer to Amelie and then Xander redirected it back at Kytha's other wing in hopes of it not being fire-resistant.

Kytha saw the incoming fire and dodged it but the way she turned, the leap of Vulcan hit the side of her face. She growled in pain before attempting to fling him off of her. She had to get to a rooftop.

When Vulcan managed to collide with her head, he immediately sunk his teeth into whatever flesh was presented to him, placing all four paws in her face and skull for balance. But when she started shaking, throwing her head around and trying to get him off her, his paws lost their grip. His jaws however were holding on tightly.

When she felt Vulcan being stuck on like glue, it enraged her. She threw her spikes tail at him and if he didnt let go an impaling might happen.
