Futuristic Those That are Hunted

The agent didn't move from his spot by the door. However, he was listening to every word the rebels were saying, looking away and acting distracted as to not stare or give away that he was snooping on them. But when the speedster suddenly mentioned him and a millisecond later his hand was on his shoulder, the young man couldn't help but jump back a bit. He quickly caught himself, realizing that they wouldn't hurt him just yet, ensuring himself that they still needed him. But then again, there were a couple more agents hiding in their cells. The speedster had no problem walking through his door so why would it be any different with another one. "Of c-ourse. Wha-tever you want." he stuttered.

Grinning at the young agent, Tucker then pointed down the hall, away from the labs and towards the cells. "Lead the way, sir." Emphasizing the sarcasm behind calling the agent a 'sir', Tucker then crossed his arms over his chest and waited for the agent to begin moving. As much faster as it would be for Tucker to pick the agent up and run with him, he'd also most likely scare the guy to death and possibly even cause him to get sick. Tucker didn't want the agent fainting on him or throwing up, so this would work better than Tucker using his Gift to speed things up a bit.

When Tucker pointed towards the prison building, shivers of fear ran down the agent's back. Last place he wanted to be was anywhere near the plaza where the fight was going on. He gulped and began walking there, almost at a running speed, his body stiff with fear. If he came too close, he was dead. If he refused to walk, he was dead. If he used his gift, he was dead. Little choice there. He did a wide circle around the plaza, heading towards the entrance, praying in his head that everything would be alright.

Suddenly feeling Hayden's tentacle let go off her snout, Piper was left confused for a moment, as he seemingly disappeared. Had he teleported somewhere. Growing increasingly nervous, Piper opened her right eye and then craned her neck to try and find Hayden. Catching sight of him just in time, Piper's right eye widened, as she saw and felt Hayden pierce into her folded right wing's outer membrane. Immediately shrieking at the pain, and consequently drowning out Kytha's own roar along with what she'd said last, Piper then stumbled to her left a few feet. But there was no escaping Hayden's attack, as he cut down the outer part of her wing, down to its tip before he finally disconnected and began to fall the rest of the way down to the ground, which was about a hundred or more meters. Meanwhile, Piper was now sporting a gash through her wing, which was clean through her wing's leathery membrane and about twenty feet long. The moment Hayden disconnected, Piper shifted her body to face him, only to see Kytha flying towards Hayden in her dragon form. Infuriarated by such a sight, Piper roared at Kytha, which considering the close proximity could temporarily deafen her, and then Piper swiped at Kytha with one of her talons, fully intent on knocking her from the sky and to the ground.

Tucker smirked at the agent's terror upon seeing Piper and Hayden fighting outside, as he wasn't concerned with getting hit himself. Patiently staying back in the doorway while the agent dodged about in the plaza, Tucker waited until the agent was at the other doorway, before Tucker joined the agent's side in a flash. Skidding to a halt, Tucker then opened the door to the cells and ushered the agent in while saying, "Try any funny business, like using whatever Gift you may have, and you'll be regretting it. Trust me."

In the medical bay, Xander had just taken his final, painful step to arrive at the small box containing the stronger Therium-healing serums. Jamming one in his thigh, Xander then tossed the empty syringe to the side while he closed his eyes and felt the serum doing its job. About five minutes passed and then Xander felt the last of his cuts on his hands and feet close up. Taking off the bandages on his body, Xander was soon pleased to see that he was fully healed despite the heavy scarring on his face, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Looks were the least of his concerns right now though. Heading back to his bed, Xander was pleased to see that someone had mended his uniform for him and he quickly changed back into it. Once changed, Xander paused to think of where to go next.

The agent nervously nodded and walked inside the facility, halting at the front door and looking towards the hallway leading to the small hall inside the prison building where prisoners resided from time to time. This place was now swarmed with agents and guards seeking protection from outside. They were all nervous, pacing around, even the prisoners, wondering what was going on out there. No one even thought of going outside. "And how do you suppose we reach a cell?" he muttered. His gift could make them invisible and no one would be watching the cameras at that point anyways but it had a time limit. And besides, even if they freed someone, the agent couldn't keep cloaking people. The more people or objects were under the effect of his gift, the less the duration.

Tucker warily eyed everyone in the prison area, knowing he only had a minute or two before someone noticed the two. Looking at the agent, Tucker asked him, "Any way I can use your watch if it's on me?" Tucker could have prisoners escaping within seconds if he had a watch of his own to use. That, or he could just zip the agent along to each cell and have him swipe his watch at the cells in a swift movement. That would be slower than Tucker doing it himself, but they could get several prisoners on their side in that timeframe.

The agent shook his head in denial. The watches scanned the DNA of the user by the contact with the skin and recognized it in the database. It also needed the agent to be still alive in order to function. Smart devices those, the newest holographic technology. "I can make us invisible." he muttered quietly. He was already as good as fired because he had let Tucker abduct him so easily anyways. It took a while to unlock a cell for it needed the confirmation of the user. If it was so easy to lock or unlock something by just sliding the device against the lock, there would be countless unintentional incidents.

Frowning at this, Tucker then thought of an idea. Looking briefly to the agent, Tucker then said, "Fine. Start unlocking the first cell you see. I'll keep the agents and guards busy with a little mayhem." The moment he finished saying this, Tucker was gone in a flash, as he sprinted around the agents and guards, tripping them and shoving them into one another. Phasing himself into a random cell with a teen girl, Tucker smirked flirtily at her and said, "You know you're fairly beautiful. I hope your Gift matches your deadly beauty." Shifting his gaze back out of the cell, Tucker wondered if any of the agents or guards he'd tripped or shoved were going to try and unlock the cell he was in to get to Tucker.

Before the young agent could say anything, Tucker was already gone, taking out his ex-colleagues a couple at a time. Realizing he was on the losing side in this and knowing he wouldn't be able to escape or hide for long, he decided to just follow the speedster's instructions. He ran to the fist cell on the first floor and began unlocking the door, the two prisoners inside already at the door, only waiting for it to be opened. The teenager quickly unlocked their cuffs as well before going to the next one. This would not only cost him his job but also his freedom and possibly life. But for some reason, he wasn't regretting what he was doing. He had been taken from his non-gifted single mother as a young lad about a year or two from now, trying to steal some food from a store and get away using his invisibility. Since he wasn't much of a fighter with his rather small and athletic build, he was used as just a guard or support unit. He hadn't made any friends but he hadn't complained so far either. He got a tap on the shoulder from the next prisoner he freed, while the other agents and guards had already recovered and were playing cat and mouse with Tucker, looking for him everywhere. A group of them spotted him in the cell with the girl and called out. "Here he is!" They took their taser guns out and pointed them at him. "Don't you move a muscle."

Tucker grinned at the guards and said, "I hope moving my mouth doesn't count as moving a muscle, cause then it's too late for that." Then Tucker disappeared in a flash, leaving a gust of wind in his place, as he phased through the cell and then appeared behind the guards before poking one of them on his shoulder. "You guys need to work on your reflexes, honestly." He said this while quickly moving back a few feet before one of them whipped around and tried to punch him in the jaw or something. After all, Tucker was fast, but not exactly a hand to hand combat expert. He knew how to throw a punch and kick, but that was about it. He knew nothing about countering attacks on himself or even blocking punches other than possibly grabbing the arm and twisting it behind someone's back in a flash. And tripping people. He knew how to do that one well.

Before the agents could do or say anything, Tucker was already out of the cell and behind their backs. They spun around, pointing the guns at the direction from which Tucker's voice came from and one of them just let the stun darts fly, unaware of where or what he was shooting at, only hoping to get their target. The other agent and guards had also heard their calls and were now running in their direction, trying to corner the speedster or at least encircle him.

Tucker's eyes widened when he saw the stun darts flying from the guards, but time slowed all around him and he instantly backpedalled before turning 180 degrees around and sprinting in a flash away from the stun darts. He soon reappeared down a row of cells, nearly fifty feet away from the guards. No longer concerned, Tucker flashed them his signature grin and then shouted at them, "You guys are still way too slow to catch me that easily. Try again!" He kept taunting them, hoping the young agent was doing his job and getting the prisoners freed. He'd check up on him in a minute or two to make sure he wasn't tying any funny business. Then again, the agent didn't seem to have been trying too hard to get away, so maybe he actually wanted to help them. Always useful to add another person to the team and all that.

The darts struck the air and the agent pulled them away from the gun with a growl, loading the next round. "After him!" some yelled. "Find him!" They began running through the floors, looking for him, some of them beginning to charge up their gifts, others pulling their own stun guns out. They couldn't risk to hurt him. he was still too valuable for the government.

The young agent on the other hand was going as fast as he could, sweat forming on his forehead from nervousness. He couldn't let anyone see him. He was almost done with the whole ground floor and now the hall was filled with uncuffed prisoners.

Tucker shouted over the chaos to whoever was freed now, "We're free from the tyranny of the agency, free from this hellhole that we were kept imprisoned in for years of our lives for doing nothing wrong beyond having a Gift!" Repositioning himself to avoid being caught for now, Tucker appeared on the opposite end of the prison area and then saw a few freed prisoners in front of him. Shouting again, Tucker then said, "Free yourselves now, fight back! Fight for your rights, that you deserve more than anything! Fight back against these agents and guards!" Taking a deep breath, Tucker then quickly added, "Don't kill them though, don't bring yourselves to their level. Knock them out and then we'll break free and return to our loved ones!"

The prisoners got all riled up by Tucker's speech and soon they all had summoned their elemental Gifts, among other numerous kinds of Gifts. All hell broke loose, as the prisoners let out a collective battle cry and then metal rungs from cells flew at the agents among water, wind gusts, and even electricity laced out of a nearby lightbulb to electrocute a guard nearby. Another prisoner teleported around the guards, tripping them here and there.

Amelie heard Piper roar in pain. All she wants do dk was go out and help them but she couldn't leave these two to die. After the Boise calmed down she heard someone yelling on the outside ~What could that be?~ Amelie heard her com as well as the other two agents going off. 'All the prisoners have been let out. Be prepared for attack. I repeat all the prisoners have been let out. Be prepared for attack.' "The idiots!" Yes most of the people they imprisoned didn't do anything but had their gifts but there were those in there that did have a record. "If any hesd this way use your earth prism to hold them." The earth bender nodded. He could feel the lighter steps of some prisoners come towards the dome. They knew who the ice belonged too and wanted her out of the picture as fast as possible. "Little squirts don't know who they are messing with." She turned and nodded at the earth bender. He closed his eyes to feel the movement. He then stomped his foot on the ground and some of the earth from out side the dome came up. He felt on the the pairs of feet go away. "One is a flyers. I won't be able to get it." Amelie wasn't worried about flyers. They didn't do much. His hands started making movements like he was moving something, that something was the piece of earth outside. He dropped it down on two prisoners causing them to get trapped in a eat barrier. "I got two of them." Amelie gave him a thumbs up. "Keep it up." Amelie knew that some would get out mainly because the agent wasn't able to tell who it was just that there were people out there.

The agents and guards from the upper floors looked down at them, leaning against the railings, some with wide open eyes filled with new fear and shock, others filled with hope and long awaited chance for freedom. "F*** this! We are either going down here or we are going down out there." an agent muttered and turned around to face the two boys in a cell behind them that were yelling out to their brothers in arms, encouraging them to keep fighting. He walked over to them and after giving them a smile, unlocked their cell and cuffs. "Hey, you'll get arrested for this! This is treason!" a guard yelled at him. "We are dying anyways! Might as well die fighting for what we believe in!" he yelled and the boys charged out, joining in the fight. Other were following his lead, freeing more and more prisoners. Others were fighting for their lives using their gifts, non-gifted shooting with their taser guns at the prisoners and now even at their ex-colleagues that had joined in the fight but they were quickly overpowered. Chaos broke out. Seeing the two prisoners get trapped under the earth, agents and other prisoners began firing and punching at the stone to break them out of there. Soon, they were all pushing against the doors of the prison, wanting to get out. Even the young agent who had helped free the first ones was yelling and smiling from ear to ear.

Tucker grinned in delight as chaos broke out all around him. Easily dodging through the fights everywhere, Tucker zipped around guards and agents, tripping them and punching a few in the gut, which was enhanced in strength with his super speed. Soon, he saw the prisoners and even a few turned agents pushing against the doors of the prison. Rolling his eyes at their excitement and slight stupidity, Tucker pushed his way through the crowd and then grabbed the young agent along the way before shouting over the noise and shouting around them, "Unlock the doors, hurry!" Now that Tucker could see the chaos he'd created, he began to see a few people who stood out from the crowd in looking a bit tougher and meaner than he'd expected from the prisoners. His heart skipped a beat, when he saw one prisoner leave the crowd, a grin on his face that seemed out of place among the other excited grins. Tucker's eyes widened when he saw the prisoner picking up a barely conscious guard by the collar of his uniform, the grin still on the prisoner's face. Shit. Tucker wasted no time, as he appeared by the prisoner in a flash and tackled him to the side to effectively make him drop the guard. Straddling the now pissed off prisoner, Tucker struggled to keep the guy's arms down as he asked the prisoner, "What's your problem, dude? The guard's already downed!"

The young ex-agent didn't expect Tucker to grab him like this. But he wasn't as afraid now, knowing exactly on which side he was on. He nodded and when he was put down again, tried to yell out to unlock the doors. However, his cries could only barely reach the right people. Luckily, the agents that had gone rogue knew what they had to do. Some of the prisoners were pushing against the door, almost taking it off its hinges but not quite - those doors were much stronger than the regular ones, made of thick and strong steel. A Therian agent quickly shifted into a cat, pushing her way between the many legs that were in her way and shifted back human as she was at the door, being squeezed by the masses for that short moment in which she was unlocking the door before they finally flew open. Then, everyone stormed out like a herd of wild animals, gathering in the plaza and filling it out almost completely.

Surprised by the sudden rush of everyone flooding out of the door, Tucker was distracted and then suddenly he was seeing stars, as the prisoner had socked him in one of his eyes and, unluckily for Tucker, the prisoner seemed to have super strength. Tucker went flying a few feet into the air, before he came crashing down on the ground in a daze. The prisoner growled angrily, despite not being an animal, and got up before he ambled over to Tucker before swiftly aiming a kick at Tucker's side. Due to being dazed from the hit to his head, Tucker couldn't move out of the way in time and gasped, as the prisoner kicked him in the side of his ribs, effectively breaking at least two of them. Groaning, Tucker rolled onto his uninjured side and then coughed before shakily getting onto his hands and knees while trying to crawl away from the prisoner, who was calmly following Tucker with a smirk on his face. Tucker could already feel the eye, that the prisoner had struck, swelling up and he could barely see out of it. It'd no doubt be a black eye soon enough. Gingerly touching the cheekbone just under his struck eye, Tucker gasped at the sharp pain. Had the prisoner broken part of his cheekbone as well?

Matthew was rather at the end of the group and was now heading outside until he heard some sounds of fighting behind him. He turned around and seeing Tucker being thrown and punched around by a prisoner, seemingly having the gift of supernatural strength, he inhaled sharply and pushed his way through the crowd towards the two. What was he thinking? That guy could crush him with a single hit. But for some reason this wasn't in his head currently. He was only thinking of helping a fellow freedom fighter the way he... at least had spared his life. Matthew quickly caught up with Tucker as the attacker was only a couple of feet from them and put his hand on his shoulder, activating his gift in that exact moment. In a blink they were out of sight. They could see each other but to the prisoner it was like they weren't there. One could still hear them talking, breathing or their steps and they could be touched but only a Therian or someone with enhanced senses would be able to locate them with precision.

The moment Tucker and Matthew disappeared, the prisoner halted mid-step, confusion quickly spreading across his face. Frowning down at where Tucker just was, the prisoner then said out loud, "The hell...?" Tucker saw the confusion on the prisoner's face and wasted no time, despite his injuries, as he pushed himself up onto his feet with a grunt and hiss of pain. He then grabbed Matthew and in a flash, and gust of wind, the pair disappeared from the area and reappeared just outside of the medical bay, after Tucker had weaved through the growing crowd of prisoners and ex-agents. Upon arriving just outside of the medical bay, Tucker stumbled and clutched his ribs before he let go of Matthew and collapsed onto the ground, sliding a few feet to a stop. Irritated that he'd let himself get injured for protecting one of the bad guys, Tucker tried to force himself to his hands and knees, gasping again in pain.

Xander had just exited the medical bay to figure out what all the shouting was about when he halted upon seeing a clearly injured Tucker on his hands and knees not far from the medical bay itself. Looking to the young agent nearby, Xander then walked to him first and helped him up onto his feet before asking the agent, "What are you doing with him? What in the world is going on right now?"

Matthew didn't know what was happening until they stopped and he was kinda thrown to the ground. He was feeling dizzy from the speed, trying hard not to throw up. The moment they had hit the ground, the teenager had taken away the effect of invisibility and was now laying on his back, eyes closed to try and get the blurriness to go away. But then he was pulled back onto his feet by someone. At first he couldn't recognize him but after blinking a couple of times, he finally managed to restore his eyesight and open his eyes wide at the sight of that fire bending agent that had saved them all a couple of days back. He was namely summoned into the plaza to help out that day and had witnessed the event. He swallowed, then looked around to spot the group and Tucker. "I didn't do anything. A prison riot broke out." he muttered. "He needs help." he continued and ran over to Tucker who was a couple of feet away from where they were standing.

Xander raised an eyebrow at the young agent, unsure why he'd immediately defend himself when all Xander asked was what was going on. Sighing, Xander decided to help Tucker for now. He did look to be in pretty bad shape and the least Xander could do was get the kid comfortable after he'd helped save everyone the other day. Joining the agent's side, Xander then knelt down beside Tucker and took one of his arms before nodding at Tucker's other side and asking the agent "Hey, can you grab his other arm and help me help him into the medical bay? We need to get him on a bed before we try anything do that he's safe for one and also so we can take care of him while he's in a more comfortable positon." As far as Xander could tell, Tucker had a nasty black eye, swollen cheek, and he was clutching at his ribs so they were either bruised or more likely broken, maybe just fractured. Hopefully Tucker didn't have any internal bleeding since the nurses and doctors all seemed to be hiding right now.

Tucker was grimacing in pain and then he felt someone taking one of his arms and trying to help him up. Looking at the person and expecting to see the young agent, Tucker was surprised to see the firebender instead. "Wha-why are you...helping me?" Tucker coughed after asking this, confusion obvious on his face. Yet, instead of answering, the firebender began asking the young agent to help him help Tucker up. Despite wanting to act tough and push himself up, Tucker was already in enough pain so he pushed his pride down and waited for the agent to help him up.

Matthew nodded at the request and lifted Tucker's arm up over his shoulders as careful as he could. Although he was helping him stand and walk, the fire bender was by far stronger and was carrying most of his weight. They slowly walked inside the medical labs and soon found an empty room on the first floor with a bed to put him on. "Maybe I should get a nurse?" he asked as they were placing him on the mattress. Some healing serums would speed up the process but he still looked pretty bad.

Xander helped Tucker along and despite taking most of Tucker's weight, it wasn't too difficult considering Tucker was mostly slim and just really tall if anything. Once Xander and the agent had helped Tucker into a bed, Xander exhaled and then replied to the agent's question, "If you can find one, then that'd be brilliant. He certainly looks like he could use some help." Tucker gritted his teeth as he was helped into the bed, staying rather tense the whole time, as his ribs throbbed and every time he made a facial expression, his cheekbone would throb again. Sighing once he was settled, Tucker left one of his arms draped over his chest and then resolved to stare at the ceiling while waiting for someone to help him. It was irking him to be so useless in this moment, but there wasn't too much he could do about it. Meanwhile, Xander started rifling through drawers nearby, looking for some Therian-healing serums. He now knew where to get the pwerful ones, but if Tucker had any broken bones, they might do more damage than healing in the end.
