Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Tucker felt his confidence flooding his body again, as he was now fully clothed again minus being barefoot. He could deal with that though. Seeing Kytha blushing even harder, Tucker chuckled. She looked so cute when she was embarassed like that. Hearing what she said about herself, Tucker gave her a crooked grin before saying, "Well, you should be weird more often then." When Kytha walked up to him and them ruffled his hair, Tucker grinned and immediately wrapped his arms around Kytha's back before pulling her closer to him while he glanced down at her. She was about two feet shorter than him so he smiled while looking down at her. Hearing her compliment, Tucker felt his face flush slightly before he replied in a gentle tone, "You are far more adorable than I could ever be, Ky." His eyes flickered to Kytha's lips and then quickly back to her eyes, as if silently asking her permission to go any further.

Larassa was nearly finished with her meal when she heard her watch go off, signalling that a message had just arrived to her inbox. Curious, Larassa held up her watch and then pulled up her messages, keeping them on the tiny screen so nobody else could read it. After reading it though, Larassa was grinning from ear to ear, her heart beginning to speed up in anticipation for getting a session with the rebel-turned agent, Vulcan. Abruptly leaving her unfinished meal at the table, Larassa weaved her way down the hallways to solitary. With the grin on her face, any prisoners in cells nearby cowered in fear. They knew what that grin meant, but who's turn was it this time?

Arriving in solitary confinement, Larassa let the door slam shut behind, the slam echoing down the hallways. Her grin was sadonic at this point, her eyes glowing dark red, as her fingernails shifted into claws while the rest of her body remained human still. Dragging her claws along the wall, Larassa then began slowly approaching Vulcan's cell, knowing fully well that he could hear her approaching. If there was one thing Larassa loved more than anything else though, it was the anticipation that she'd build before going into a full session.

Vulcan was starting to wonder if someone was going to come. Suddenly, he heard the door to the outside shutting loudly. He guessed it was Amelie being even more angry at him than before and grumbled a bit at that but then claws scratching the walls could be heard. Those could only belong to one - Larassa. And she was coming for him. His heart began racing, his eyes focusing on the scanner that would flash green before the steel door was opened outwards. He took a rather low stance, standing close to the door hoping he wouldn't quite be seen through the peephole, ready to jump out, run for it and if he must, defend himself with the scalpel that was in one of his hands protecting his face.

Larassa soon reached Vulcan's door and instead of opening it right away or even looking through the peephole, Larassa said quietly, but loud enough for Vulcan to hear, "Your girl sends her regards." She then swiped at the door, which then flashed green before Larassa slowly opened the door, her glowing, crimson eyes quickly scanning the room for Vulcan. By the time she spotted him in the corner, her eyes had narrowed and she let out a low growl, shifting into her partial state, which looked much like a human werewolf. Instantly taking a defensive martial arts stance, Larassa held up her fists and got ready for what may turn into a brawl between the two. Not that she was at all concerned with losing since Vulcan had none of his usual Gifted abilities, but she had to be careful regardless. She knew that Vulcan was an accomplished fighter himself and she wasn't about to let her guard down for one second. At the same time, she didn't want to waste any of her more intense powers on Vulcan just yet. That kind of fun would be for later.

Vulcan ignored her comment completely. She would be trying to provoke his anger which would in turn make his moves reckless and rash. He couldn't allow himself to be any more reckless. He was in an already bad position - a human fighting a Therian, especially one like this here. He wasn't sure exactly of what she was capable but as far as he remembered, she did use electricity against that prisoner trying to escape with Kytha. As the door was opened just enough for him to pass through without her slamming it back in his face, he pounced forward, pushing it open the rest of the way with his shoulder and at the same time trying to get some distance between the two of them by stabbing at the only thing that was left in his way with the scalpel. He wasn't targeting anything particular, just what was right in front of him - possibly the chest or abdomen.

Larassa snarled at Vulcan when he leaped at her, instantly stepping backwards to avoid his attacks. Leaning back, Larassa almost avoided the scalpel entirely, but it skimmed along the edge of her side and tore at the fabric to her uniform, but didn't break the skin. Irritated at Vulcan for attacking her, Larassa made the decision to end it, here and now, before Vulcan even got the chance to put up a fight. Shifting into her full form in just a few seconds, Larassa let out a howl, half of her body in the form of a fox and the other in the form of a black wolf, while looking as if someone had done a poor job of stitching the two bodies together down the middle of her face. Electricity coursed through the wolf side of her body, which was the left side of her, sparks dancing along her hand and forearm. Her right side, or fox side, had blue fire engulfing her hand and part of her forearm as well. Snarling again, Larassa then lunged forward, aiming to grab Vulcan by the throat with her electrified hand. If successful, she'd be holding him up by the throat with his feet just barely off the ground, while small jolts of electricity would course through his body and activate the handcuffs to attack Vulcan's body as if he were trying to use his own Gift.

Of course he wouldn't land a hit. Therians had faster reflexes after all, just like the animals inside of them. Because of the way he had charged through the door and thrown his attacking hand at her, it took him those few seconds to regain his balance, in which Larassa was shifting. Shivers ran down Vulcan's back as he saw her fully shifted form. In all these years he had never seen a Therian able to stand on their hind legs, let alone be a mix of two creatures - similar to Kytha's hydra. On top of all, she was also able to control electricity and not feel any pain. Was this some forced mutation developed by the government? If so, this was definitely one of their most scary prototypes. Her head was almost touching the ceiling. If she was to walk on all fours, she would be almost as large as his own wolf form. Under different circumstances, this might have been a fair fight. She was almost like the werewolves depicted in fairy tale books to scare children with. Well, after seeing Piper's dragon form, he wasn't too surprised to see all kinds of mythical beasts. But this here definitely made his shiver. He now realized why people were so afraid of her. Once he had regained his stance he quickly tried to move back and avoid that electric arm of hers. But he wasn't quick enough, nor had he established enough distance from her to avoid her reaching him. When her large hairy paw grabbed his through, it immediately took his breath away and he winced, his hands shooting up, the one holding the scalpel attempting to ram it into her forearm, his legs that were in the air trying to kick at her. But before he could do any of that, the handcuff's protective mechanism activated once more, sending waves of pain over his whole body, magnified by Larassa's lightning bolts dancing around her arm. He immediately let go of the scalpel, his eyes clenched tight, his mouth opened wide but the only thing that escaped his throat was a silenced scream.

Larassa was immensely pleased when he aim was true and Vulcan was within her grasp. Knowing that she could very well kill him if she held him too long in this grasp, Larassa then unceremoniously let go of Vulcan's throat, watching as he fell and then crumpled in a heap on the ground. Taking a step back, Larassa let out a low, reverberating growl while she watched Vulcan for any more of his escape attempts. Dropping to all fours, Larassa crouched down a bit, preparing to pounce on Vulcan if he tried anything else. Narrowing her eyes at him, Larassa then said in a low, dark, and raspy tone, "Don't give up so easily, Vulcan...I'm only getting started." She then grinned and let out a sardonic laughter that rang down the hallway, but didn't leave the solitary confinement since the walls were soundproof as well as the doors. The sounds would only stay in solitary and further frighten the prisoners present.

Vulcan's vision was starting to blur and turn to black from the lack of oxygen and the amount of pain he was in. As much as he was trying to stay awake all the things that were happening to his body left him little choice. When, luckily for him, Larassa suddenly let go of him, he fell to the ground and coughed a couple of times, his lungs filling up with air once more. His vision was getting better by the second, the effect of the handcuffs fading away quickly. Only a second more and they were loose again. He could see Larassa on all four only a couple of feet away from him and supposed that if he tried any other escape or attack attempts she might as well rip him to pieces. This was probably the way he would handle such a situation as well. But he wasn't going to give up so easily. Definitely not without giving her a fight. He wasn't that kind of person. Reckless, yes, a coward, probably not. "Who said anything about giving up?" he said in a still raspy voice and reached for the scalpel that was on the ground right next to him. He didn't know if he was going to endure a second electrical shock but this thought kinda escaped his mind at the moment.

Larassa cocked her head at Vulcan, amused that he was still valiantly trying to fight back. It was certainly the most entertainment Larassa had gotten in the past month or so. Calmly padding up to him when he reached for the scalpel on the ground near him, Larassa then stopped a foot or two away. Regarding him carefully, Larassa then raised one of her front paws up to her head before swiftly driving it down towards the floor, aiming to crush Vulcan's hand under her paw and most likely break several of his bones. Since he didn't have his Therian healing capabilities, Larassa had no doubt that he'd be in immense pain for a long time considering that she was no where near done with him just yet.

Vulcan had quickly taken the scalpel from the ground and pulled his hand back, only milliseconds before Larassa's paw came crashing down. He felt that she had put a lot of strength into it and that she would have snapped multiple bones if he hadn't pulled away swiftly enough. He then continued to roll to the side to make some distance between them before attempting to stand up. If you were on the ground, then you've already lost half the battle.

Larassa growled deeply at Vulcan when her paw slammed into the concrete flooring, hearing a small, nearly inaudible crack coming from her own paw. While Larassa couldn't feel the pain, she recognized the crack and knew that she had broken at least one bone in her paw after that failed attempt to hurt Vulcan. With her lack of feeling pain though, Larassa didn't even limp or falter in her balance when she quickly turned to face Vulcan and snarled at him. Seeing him attempting to stand up, Larassa narrowed her eyes and then suddenly rushed towards him, lowering her head in an attempt to hit him in the side and knock him onto his back, even knock the breath of him in the attempt. In fact, if she hit him where she was aiming, his upper chest, she'd no doubt break a rib or two in the side.

Vulcan had almost gotten back up to his feet, still standing on all four, when suddenly he saw Larassa charging towards him. He didn't have any time to react except of relaxing his muscles as much as possible to lower the intensity of the impact. Then, her large scull collided with his side and sent him flying a couple of feet down the hallway. Since she didn't have enough space to build us speed, it wasn't as powerful but not much less powerful. It not only stole his breath, he also felt the breaking of his floating rib and one or two of his true ribs cracking or even breaking. He was lucky that his spine was still intact as that would have probably left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life - as little as there may be left of it. Waves of pain and painful shivers ran through his chest. The broken or cracked ribs were uncomfortably and painfully pressing onto his lungs, making him breath even harder so he was taking short breaths to try and lower the pain. But he couldn't move. Not just yet. He had hit his head in the fall and his vision was blurred, his body was getting numb from all the lividities that must have appeared on his other side. He had dropped the scalpel - his only way of protecting himself, where the impact had happened. The battle was lost for him.

Growling and keeping her head high in a way of establishing she was the alpha, like a wolf would do in a pack, Larassa padded over to Vulcan's side, one of her paws brushing against the scalpel and making a small clattering sound along the way. Once Larassa was at Vulcan's side, she looked down at him and said, "And to think I thought you were stronger than this." Larassa then stood back up onto her hind legs before she held up her injured forepaw with disgust. She could see it was already bruising and swelling slightly, which was going to be annoying to deal with when Alpha was no longer here. Still, it would heal within the day as long as Larassa got it looked over by some nurse in the medical bay. Dropping her forepaw to her side, Larassa returned her attention to Vulcan, who was pitifully lying in a heap on the ground and gasping for breath. Spitting to the side in disgust, Larassa then used her good forepaw to grab Vulcan by the back of his collar and then she began dragging him alongside her while she slowly, and painfully for Vulcan, made her way to the stairwell at the end of the hallway. The staircase led down below to the darkest depths of solitary confinement and it wasn't often that anyone came out of there still sane or without some mental or emotional permanent damage.

If it was possible, kytha's cheeks got even redder. When he looked from her lips to her eyes, she bit the inside of her lip not showing any movements. Should I let him? Her eyes stayed on hers and her stomach filled with butterflies. She took in a deep breath. Letting it out slowly. She let a slight, nervous nod. The butterflies got larger. My first kiss. I'm happy it'll be with Tucker.

When Larassa began walking towards him, Vulcan made attempts to get up once more but then just let himself fall back to the ground. It was no good. She was still in her full strength and he was injured and in pain. This battle was lost for him before it had even begun. No non-gifted human was a match for a Therian. Then he was grabbed by the back of his suit and dragged down the hallway. This of course, produced even more pain and he clenched his teeth, trying to make as little noise as possible. There was a lot more pain to come. But when he was dragged down the stairs he couldn't help grimacing and letting out small moans. How long was that damn staircase?!

Tucker felt himself blush when Kytha nodded, but immediately swallowed his nervousness. Any minute now, the agents would be back to try and take Kytha. It was now or never. Taking a deep breath, Tucker then gingerly moved one of his hands from Kytha's back, now clasping her chin and tilting her head up towards Tucker's face. Smiling down at Kytha's face, Tucker felt himself feeling giddier by the second. He was finally kissing a girl he truly cared about and nothing else mattered in this moment. Leaning down, Tucker closed his eyes at the last second right before he gingerly kissed Kytha on her lips, his touch light, as he was nervous and had never actually had any experience with kissing before. The moment their lips touched though, Tucker pressed himself closer to Kytha, savoring her being so close to him and not wanting to ever let go of her again.

Arriving at the base of the stairs, Larassa paused for a moment, taking in the cooler air down in the dungeons, as Larassa liked to refer to them as. Walking forward again, Larassa smirked to herself, as she could hear Vulcan's soft moans and practically fed off of his pain and misery, only further encouraging her to do more to him. Upon reaching the first door in the hallway, Larassa opened it up, the door creaking on its hinges while it slowly opened. Dragging Vulcan inside of the room, Larassa then took him to the back wall of the room, where power-restricting handcuffs dangled from a high point on the wall. Much like what she did to Seth before, Larassa took care in taking Vulcan's handcuffs off one at a time so he'd still be restricted from using his gift. She then replaced his handcuffs with the connected ones on the wall. The connected handcuffs were attached to the wall and were just high enough so that Vulcan would have to stand on the balls of his feet just to get any rest from the pain, though the rest would only be temporary. The handcuffs would slowly tear into the muscles of his shoulders, slowly but surely tearing the muscle in his shoulders and dislocating them. Depending on how long Vulcan would manage to keep himself up on the edge of his feet without rest, he could last up to a day in there before his muscles finally gave in, either his calf muscles from straining to keep his shoulders from tearing, or his shoulder muscles finally tearing and then the shoulders dislocating themselves.

When they finally reached the end of the stairs and were standing in front of that door to the unknown, Vulcan felt the cool breeze that came from underneath. It even felt good on his now burning body from the swollen ribs and the bruises over his skin. Then he was dragged further inside and up to a wall. He had hoped that the effects of the handcuffs would fade away after even one has been removed but his suggestion was false. He tried to fight and pull his hands back from being cuffed to the wall but all his attempts were futile. He could feel only the tips of his toes touching the ground, even with his height and the soles on his boots. He tried to use his heels to get a more comfortable position but it only resulted in him putting more weight on his arms. He knew what she was trying to achieve - not only tire him out but damage his arms and shoulders. He attempted to bring one of his legs up and kick at her. Although there was no point in doing that, he would simply feel good if it landed a hit.

Larassa turned away from Vulcan, assuming that he'd be too weak now to do anything more. She was wrong. Despite feeling no pain from it, Larassa stumbled forward merely out of surprise from the weak kick that Vulcan aimed at her lower back. Snarling, Larassa whipped around and then briskly walked straight up to Vulcan so that she was in his face. Her fox and wolf faces both glared at him and she then said in a dark tone, "You're going to regret that, wolf." She then placed her forepaws on both of Vulcan's shoulders, at first only putting a light amount of pressure into them, but effectively forcing Vulcan away from his resting position and causing his muscles to begin tearing in his shoulders and wrists because of how Larassa was forcing it to happen.

Kytha kissed him back. His touch so light and careful. Her butterflies fluttered intensely but had come to a halt when they came in contact. She closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss a bit more. It felt like her heart had stopped the moment there lips had met. Don't ever leave me. She thought to herself.

Tucker kissed Kytha a second time, more of a reassurance than anything else, and then pulled back slowly before opening his eyes and smiling down at Kytha. His face was flushed from the kissing, but his smile only got bigger, as he then said to Kytha in a whisper, "Has anyone ever told you just how beautiful you are?" Tucker then added in a reassuring tone, "I'm never, ever leaving you, okay, Ky?"

Indeed, Vulcan instantly regretted throwing that kick. It had caused even more pain in his ribs and had also provoked her anger, which was never a good idea in the position he was currently in. He cried out loudly as she began pushing him down and straining the muscles in his arms and shoulders, his voice resonating in the room. He tried gripping the chain to avoid being pulled down further but it didn't help. Still, he wasn't going to beg for mercy from her. It would only result in her laughing in his face and doing something worse than what she already was. But his mind was going crazy, the words Stop it! were screaming in his brain.

Larassa chuckled darkly at Vulcan's crying and misery, but ended up removing her forepaws from his shoulders after a moment of watching him suffer. Regarding Vulcan with a cold and heartless demeanor, Larassa then said evenly, "No, I won't make it that easy for you, wolf. You think you can just turn your back on the government and be all heroic and shit?" Larassa laughed and then walked away from Vulcan, approaching a table nearby that had numerous items scattered across it, near impossible to make out in the darkness though.

When Larassa released her grip on his shoulders, his head hung low, he was staring at the ground with barely opened eyes, trying to regain his normal breathing and heartbeat. But when he heard the sudden sound of her rummaging through mostly metallic objects, his eyes shot open and he looked in her direction but couldn't see anything because of the lack of his night vision. No... NO... He wouldn't be able to take any more of this.

As Larassa aimlessly examined several pieces of torture tools, she calmly began talking to Vulcan, "You know, I'm surprised you ever got with Amelie." Pausing, Larassa held up a small dagger, smirking when she saw the dried blood on it. Setting it back down on the table, Larassa then added, "She's the reason you're down here. She personally asked for me to come for you." Turning back to Vulcan so he could see her crimson, glowing eyes, Larassa then grinned and said, "She's the reason you're suffering right now."

He didn't believe a word she was saying. This was part of the torture. His Amelie would never give such an order. She wasn't that coward who used others to cause someone pain she was mad at or even hated. She was better than this. Vulcan decided not to answer. He had to safe his breath, not fall for her tricks. Instead, he brought one of his legs up to the wall, trying to get a more comfortable position by kinda sitting on it and taking some weight off his arms.
