Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Vulcan refused the second portion of water that was offered him. He would only choke again. Once he was in med labs, an IV would be attached to him which would provide the needed fluids to his system. He shook his head slightly in response to all her questions. Ice wouldn't make it better. In fact, it would only put additional weight on his chest. From the way his lungs were behaving and the pain in his ribs, he would suppose that his chest was flailed. His life was hanging on a thin thread. Almost half of the people with injuries like these didn't make it. And he was human.

Tucker smiled softly down at Kytha and said, "You don't look like a fool, Ky." Hearing Kytha's promise for revenge for Tucker, he just sadly shook his head and said softly, "There's nothing you can do that'll ease my suffering from six years of hell here." Not to mention all of the stuff that Larassa had done to him. There was no coming back from that and Tucker had several phobias now. Hearing the mention of practicing hand-to-hand combat, Tucker chuckled at Kytha and said, "For someone as fast as myself, I may not be the best sparring partner for you."

Amelie stood back up as she heard the door opened behind her. The nurse asked for Amelie to exit the room so they could get to Vulcan. She did just that, but before the second nurse could go in, Amelie pulled him aside. "When he gets to the medical bay I want you to take his cuffs off." The nurse looked at her hesitantly. "But ma'am, that is against protocol. Once he is healed," Amelie's glare stopped his babbling. "I am the highest athority here. You will either listen to me or be gone." By gone she meant fired. Any personnel that wasn't giftrd and got fired ended up having their memory of their time working for the government erased. The nurses nodded and went into the room to help put Vulcan on the stretcher.

The two nurses, one male and one female, did their best to carefully lift Vulcan up and place him on the stretchor. "You will get pain killers back at the medical bay." The female nurse said and they carefully lifted the stretcher up and walked out of the room. Amelie put a note in the male nurses pocket with her orders written down, and then watched them leave solitary.

The nurses were careful as they quickly brought Vulcan to the medical bay. Thay placed him on a bed on the opposite side of the room from Xander. As the female nurse started to clean the area to insure an IV, the male nurse lifted his watch to the cuff on the other hand and It fell off. "What are you doing?!" The female nurse yelled. "You aren't supposed to do that." The male new she was going to do that and pulled out the not Amelie had slipped him. "Orders are orders and you know that." The female sighed. Once she got the IV situated to start giving him fluids she ran her watch over the other cuff and that one fell off too. "I'll be right back." She ran to go grab a cart an started dressing his wounds.
"We'll see, Hugo" Richter replied. Though he had proven to be a valid threat before the prospect of the two having to fight again seemed unlikely to Richter. Priority one was too give Amelie a report on what had happened.
Oh I could tear him apart right now. Just as I could drive him mad but lets play with him. Lets make him suffer. You're sounding more like me by the Minute. Hugo looked at his watch "one more minute." sighing Hugo took out his phone and resumed his search for a gifted who could amplify others powers. He looked at old newspaper clippings, news reports, etc. Nothing.... Putting his phone back into his pocket Hugo got up and opened the door assuming that the minute was up. Seeing the looks on their face Hugo said "Great crying and hugging but Kytha we have to go. now."

She smiled at his responses. "We'll see about both of those wont we?" She nudged him softly and put her head on his chest again. When the door suddenly opened, her head spun around. Seeing it was one of those guards she swore under her breath. The words sunk into her and she growled slightly. Her hands gripped onto Tucker's arm and shirt and she held herself close. She looked up at tucker softly. "I domt want to." She whispered and turned her face back to the guard, glaring at him.

Hugo was extremely annoyed. "We gave you your ten minutes so now its time to go!" Hugo walked up to the pair. "Are you going to come peacefully or put yourself in more trouble...and pain." Hugo said threateningly.

Tucker narrowed his eyes at the GA and said calmly, "There's no need for threats here. Surely you would understand that threats will only make things worse...right?" Turning away from the guard, Tucker gave Kytha a quick hug and then said, "Please, don't keep putting yourself in harm's way like this. If anything, just go peacefully...for me, okay?" He then gently puleld Kytha away from him and looked pleadingly into her eyes. They'd have no chance of accomplishing anything if they tried now. They needed to wait for Hayden to make his move so they could finally make their own as well.

"I wish to talk to agent Amelie glass. I have something I'd like to ask her something that could save everyone in here." Her gaze looked to tucker.. "I can't just sit in a cage and watch him kill everyone. I won't."

Tucker raised an eyebrow at Kytha's request, but decided that talking with Ms. Glass shouldn't be too dangerous for Kytha. He then remembered how harshly Ms. Glass had looked at Kytha before. She had it out for Kytha and Tucker instantly felt himself growing concerned for her safety. Hearing what Kytha said next, Tucker couldn't really blame her. He felt the exact same way, but he felt no urge to put his own life on the line for a bunch of people he didn't know. He'd do it for Kytha, but nobody else was worth his time. Taking a deep breath, Tucker then said to Kytha, "Fine, but I'm going with you." Looking over at Richter, Tucker then spoke up, saying, "Hey, I want to accompany Kytha when she speaks with Ms. Glass."

Tucker narrowed his eyes at Richter and then said, "To keep her safe." Lowering his tone, Tucker then added, "From jackwads like you, who are trigger happy." He said this in reference to the fact that Richter had shot him point blank with his shotgun.

Hearing her comm go off Amelie snapped out of her daze. She hadn't moved from her spot in solitary. "No. They already had their time together and her, put her on a cell by herself. I'll go to her." She felt if Kytha met her in her office, that she would do something to her. Amelie didn't trust herself right now.

Hugo smiled slightly when Tucker insulted Richter. God this is taking so long.. I need to deal with Ritchter then look for that gifted. Hugo paced back and forth impatiently. Hugo was close enough to Richter to hear what Amelie said. Thank god!

Kytha snarled when he said she was to go alone. Her eyes cold and stone like. One simple word escaped her lips. "No." Her head cocked when he spoke to the other agent. Her hearing was the one thing that never faultered. That was because she was an owl and wolf. Though, she still missed some of the words. Something deal with tucker. Ask Amelie, with him. That was all she could make out but it was enough.

Tucker grabbed Kytha's arm and narrowed his eyes at her before whispering, "Ky, don't. Seriously. It's not worth it. Not yet." As peeved as Tucker was for Ms. Glass denying them the chance to talk, Tucjer knew that starting a scene here would do nothing for anyone. In the midst of all of this though, someone was rushed into the medical bay and Tucker was surprised when the stretcher rolled past the small group and Tucker saw that it was the wolf agent. He still didn't know the agent's name, but his heart skipped a beat at the sight of the man. He was a strong Gifted, but he looked like shit now. Only one person could've done that kinda damage to a prisoner...Larassa. Tucker was still curious to know what the agent had done to change from an agent to a prisoner though.

As careful as the two nurses were, even small movements caused huge amounts of pain so Vulcan was wincing as he was placed on the stretcher and lifted off the ground. As they were walking towards the medical bay, Vulcan stared at the steel barrier above them. Not all lights were turned on so that they would safe energy. To keep this thing up, it required a lot of power and it was now up for a whole day or so. When they arrived, he was immediately carried into surgery and put to sleep, an oxygen mask attached to help him breath. His handcuffs were still on and so he was quickly asleep. They couldn't remove his cuffs jet for then the effects of the sedatives wouldn't last as long. Then they got to work. They cut his suit open and ran an X-Ray to view the damage. They weren't concerned with the bruises, as those would heal in only a matter of hours, but with his chest. On one side the ribs were broken to such an extent that they were squishing one of the lungs, completely deforming this side of his chest. No wonder he wasn't able to breath. The other side was much better with only cracks from the fall. After a couple of minutes they were done readjusting and securing the broken ribs, inflating his lung once more with a chest tube, cleaned his airways and stopped the internal bleeding. Stitches were made and his whole chest was bandaged. From that moment on, they injected him with a healing serum for his body to start repairing the smaller injuries and to close the small wounds. But now they also had a limited time to work. They turned to his dislocated shoulders for the muscles would recover on their own with enough rest and pain medication. They put splints on his shoulders to keep the bones in their proper position and to tighten the shoulder capsules. With this, the treatment was completed and he was carried into the room where Xander was currently in, placing him on the bed next to him and after that little argument, the cuffs were removed and he was injected with some pain killers. Just a couple more minutes and he would probably be awake again.

Hayden sneered at her, "Telepathy." The sneer turned into a small chuckle and he tilted her head down and looked at her with a blank face, "I'm sorry if I undervalued you. I'm not really good with this sociable stuff." He paused and turned to face behind him. A little bird caught his attention as the bird was looking directly at the duo. "Well, I was but that was a long time ago. Before I became... a monster." He said with a sigh.

He started moving towards the 2 unconscious guards and knelt down to have just enough distance to drain their life essence. He opened both his palms, the left palm on one guard and the right palm on the other. Unsure of where to aim on, he then recalled the training session he had with the vampiric Hayden Pierce who taught him amazing techniques on draining people's lifeblood. First he followed the finger's positions, only the middle finger, index, and the thumb were open straight and the rest of the fingers were closed. He then aimed for their hearts as to what his master instructed him to. This was a good way to strike quickly with a small chance of puncture on the ribs. As the positioned fingers landed on the guards' hearts, he physically felt the core of the life essence open to his disposal. Then, he quickly thumped his wrists on their chest as the finger positioning released and their lifeblood came racing up his scarlet palms. After disengaging from the life essence core, he stood up and looked down on his fists before looking at Rosalyn. He felt better and more blood-triggered than ever. But the guards were not exactly dead, just unconscious.

"That's a deal then." Hayden finally said it with a smile. "Come on, follow me. I know the pla--" He didn't finish his sentence. Rosalyn would think that she was being underestimated again for not knowing where it was. "--Or maybe you can show me the way..." He said with a smile that reached his cheeks. His hand gesturing her to go first.

Xander dimly heard people talking around him, but felt too out of it to fully wake up and see what was going on. Five minutes passed and then Xander felt himself beginning to wake up, his eyes fluttering open. He still felt some small stings across his legs, arms, and face from the cuts, but they still felt considerably better compared to before. Letting a small groan escape form his lips, Xander then looked to his side and was immensely surprised to see a bandaged and splint Vulcan lying beside him. Taking a deep breath, Xander then said softly, "Vulcan, can you hear me? What happened, mate?"

Piper cocked her head at Hayden, then sharply shifted her gaze to the stranger upon hearing that she was a telpathic. That was a potentially dangerous Gift if the girl used it for bad reasons. Seeing the girl in Hayden's company, Piper automatically assumed that she was an enemy. Chriping again to keep up the bird act, Piper then hopped a few ways down the roof before bouncing around and pretending to be interested in something at her feet. She even pecked aimlessly at the ground to play off any chances of her being a Gifted. Piper knew how dangerous Hayden was and she didn't want to take any chances around him.

Rosalyn just watched Hayden. When he moved towards the guards she was curious as to what he was doing. Her eyes widened when she saw their blood come out of their body. "What are you doing?! Don't kill them!" When he was done and moved aside, Rosalyn ran up to them and checked their pulse. ~Good they are still alive.~ Just because she was their enemy didn't mean she wanted them dead. A lot of the soldiers were following orders or they too would be placed in prison. She understood that. All of the sudden thoughts came rushing into her head. There were so many of them. Being in an airport she could hear the workers, the flight attendance, passengers, everyone thoughts. Tilling up her sleeves she found that they took off the braclet. Rosalyn started to frantically look for it in their bags and when she didn't find it there, on their person. One of the men had it in their pocket. She reached in and pulled out a gold braclet that had a hamsa and evil eye on it. (Will post picture of it later) It was a an expensive bracelet to begin with so it didn't surprise her that one of the men took it. But what they didn't know is that it was a little charm that one of the rebel gifted made for her. She was able to manipulate someone's gift and put them into charms. So she had the woman put in a friends gift that helped negate hers. Clasping it onto her left wrist, she instantly felt relief as all he thoughts went away but hers and Hayden's.

When he smiled that big smile, Rosalyn got worried. It kind of weirded her out. She has seen what he could do, whether it was through people's memories or what she just witness and form that, she concluded the smile to be unnatural on him. But what did she know. She just met the man. Gesturing her to go first, Rosalyn took the keys from one of the men and tossed it at Hayden. "I would prefer not to drive. I need to make a phone call on our way to the prison." She then got into the passenger seat.

Hayden was intrigued at how strange Rosalyn acted. She was almost as if begging for the life of the guards who recently attempted to shoot her. He decided not to think of it too deeply, because if he did, he'd remember Kytha's innocence again, and that's not a good thing to think of... especially when you're hanging around a telepathic. He watched Rosalyn become so focused on finding an expensive bracelet, it must have been a lucky charm that's very important to her.

Rosalyn tossed one of the guard's car keys at Hayden. He drew it closer to his eyes to check the car's brand name: Aston Martin. He grinned when he saw the brand. I'm definitely keeping this one. Although he wasn't really a fan of cars, he really was somehow interested in them. The car keys had some kind of a very small screen attached to it, enough to fit one small button at least. He pressed the button as the screen began to show a hologram with a few options: Unlock car, Find car, and Lock car. Obviously, he picked the Find Car option hence the hologram transformed into a small map to guide them towards the car.

When, they finally reached the car, Hayden smiled at its luxury. "Look at this beauty. Aston Martin." He chuckled as he excitedly hopped on the driver seat then started the engine. Of course, the car was specialized for agent purposes with all their fancy radars and hologram stuff. "This car belongs to the gov. It has maps, files of prisoners and gifted contacts. Just talk to that little sphere near the stereo and it'll give you anything you like." He looked at Rosalyn before continuing to make sure she was comfortable. "I'll show you." He added with a reassuring smile. At that point, he looked at the little sphere and started thinking for a good phrase to start. During his agency days with Kyle, he remembered Kyle saying that the little spheres attached to GA cars had a specific name for a specific country. And according to his German agent squadmates, they call the sphere "Amalia" in which the name meant "work" or "serve" in German. And that was what the little sphere was doing right now, serving their passengers.

"Amalia, find us the quickest way to Germany HQ." Hayden ordered to the sphere.

"Yes, sir. Finding us a route now. Would you like to manually drive towards the destination or may I enable auto-driving for you, sir?" Amalia, the little sphere, then responed.

"Drive for me, please. Don't be too fast." Hayden answered to Amalia.

"Yes, sir. I insist you relax and enjoy the ride." Amalia replied.

Hayden then glanced back at Rosalyn and gave her another reassuring smile. "Cool. Right? Now, there's more that you can order Amalia. Perhaps she can help you find who you're looking for, Rosalyn." He suggested as the car began to exit the airport. While Amalia did all the driving, he figured it would be fun to send Amelie another text message. So he did, "Amalia, please send a text message to Amelie Glass." He appointed as Amalia responded quickly. "Text message is ready, sir."

A hologram popped up with a keyboard. "Amelie, there's no traffic around here at all! Man! Am I so glad I could get there earlier than I expected! So excited to meet you! Hope you have enough blood to satisfy a vampire. LOL JK xD Anyway be ready." The text on the screen was large enough for Rosalyn to see, Hayden hoped she wouldn't react badly. He pressed send.

Minutes passed and the effects of the tranquilizers were getting weaker and were now quickly fading away. Vulcan slowly opened his eyes to see a plain white ceiling and the soft light from the hospital lights. He could hear voices that were quiet at first, like some distant echo, but his hearing was getting better and better by the second. His enhanced hearing was starting to get even small noises from the hallways and other rooms as well but he quickly restored control over what he could hear and what not so much. He looked down a bit and saw the oxygen mask on his face, as well as some of the bandages and the splints on his shoulders. Looking better now and most importantly - released from the cuffs. He could breath freely now and his arms weren't hurting all that much, probably because of the strong pain killers he was injected with. He carefully lifted up his hand and pulled the mask off. He didn't need it anymore as his lungs were working rather well at this point - nothing to squeeze and dig painfully into his lungs. Then he slightly turned his head to the side and saw Xander staring at him. "Hey." he muttered, still feeling tired from the sedatives. "Feeling better?" he asked the same question as before.

Kytha glared with hate and untrust at both the guards. She listened to tucker and sighed. "Fine. Which cell? Prison or solitary?" The words left her mouth like needles. Sharp and poisonous. She looked around the room and Vulcan being wheeled in caught her attention. I warned you Vulcan. Amelie had you on a tight chain and it finally snapped. I warned you. Her heart dove down to her stomach at how horrible he looked. Amelie deserves a taste of her own medacine. Maybe I will let Hayden take her to the brink of death.

The only reason Rosalyn was ok with using this method of calling was that she knew Hadyen didn't know her language. (unfortunately I can't get the translate for it but she is speaking hebew the entire time she is on the phone) "Call the Prime Minister of Israel." She knew it had the number, the Prime Minister, no matter how much proof the government has, is still apart in world decision. The phone started to ring and the man on the other line spoke english. "What do I have the pleasure?" He said. (In Hebrew) "It's me, Rosalyn." With that he switched over to the other language. "What happened?" "My cover was blown. I am currently in Germany. I have gain assistance from the infamous blood wielder. He will help and also might know where Liana is." "Good. Be careful sweat heart. Remember if you need help, I can send someone. You aren't far now." "No. Becareful papa." At she hung up the phone and switched back to english. "Now why would someone like you switch sides?" He right hand abesnt-mindedly went over he left hand. There was a space where her pinky used to be and it made her uncomfortable.

Getting a new message on her phone, Amelie opened it and read it. After reading the messaged she threw her phone against the wall and then went to talk over the com. 'Alright everyone, Hayden is in the country and should be here within and hour or so. Be prepared. I do not want him getting in here." She walked out of Solitary and headed towards the cells. Hopefully Kytha will be back in them when she gets there.

Hayden pretended to sleep during the trip, but he kept his eyes peek slightly to watch Rosalyn as she talked in another language. He tried his best to blindly guess whatever Rosalyn was saying, yet it wasn't that important for him to do so. They already had a deal, and Hayden already trusts Rosalyn. Her phone call must have been just a little talk with a friend or a relative. Judging from her accent when she talks in english, she is obviously from Israel. He's never met an Israeli before, he was never sent on a mission there during agency days. Still, Hayden didn't expect an Israel lady to be this... beautiful. It reminded him of Kytha a lot. That, he did not know why. They were very different from each other. Kytha was innocent and Rosalyn was intimidating.

He looked at Rosalyn when she asked him a question. "Rose, I never switched sides. I'm still on my own side and I'll do anything that is required to make sure gifteds and non-gifteds live without judgment. I'll do whatever it takes, even if I have to be a demon against the whole world. The government was merely a mistake I made." His tone was deep and serious. However, there was one thing his heart and mind agreed on: What was he really fighting for?

In Hayden's perspective, the freedom of the gifteds would never be achieved. It was but his wish. He was pulled away from his deep thoughts after Amalia notified them both that they were finally here. He looked back at Rosalyn and nodded at her, gesturing that it was time to rock and roll. He opened the car's door and stepped out and sighed as he beheld the large building that sheltered his enemies. There was a dome that shielded it, obviously from Hayden. Fortunately, the HQ was isolated and far from the city. There were no civilians to be seen and that meant no innocent casualties would be caused. It was just them: The gov and Hayden... and Rosalyn.

"Rose, find a way to get inside that building. I'll take out the guards." He said.

Suddenly, they heard Amelie's voice over the loudspeakers outside. Hayden was near and neither Xander, nor he were still in a condition to stand, let alone fight. Vulcan turned his head back, stared at the ceiling and after taking a couple of deep breaths tried to pull himself up to a sitting position. He cursed from the sudden discomfort in his whole upper body but that feeling soon faded away because of the pain killers he was injected with. He pulled the sheet aside with which he was covered to see that they had luckily left the lower part of his suit on - his trousers and boots. Less clothing to look for. Vulcan then continued to stand up from the hospital bed and slowly head for the drawer with the spare clothes on the other side of the room. From there, he pulled a mouse grey T-shirt and pull it over his head, gritting his teeth from moving his arms up. This fight was hopeless. But he had to try. Right next to clothes drawer, there was another one containing different medication, already in syringes to be used immediately. He pulled four of the Therian healing serums and after a short hesitation, rammed them in his leg. He wasn't going to die from overdose, that's for sure. His body could take it. He immediately began to feel the effects, the muscles and bruises recovering now at higher speeds but it would still take a while for the bones to mend. He was only hoping the dome would hold for that long. He grabbed a couple of pain killers and put them in his pocket as well. He would need them for later on. Then he went back to the bed and lay down again. There was nowhere to go at this point yet. He would only be dragged to a cell again.

Rosalyn glared at him. She wanted to tell him he had no right to call her Rose but just let it be. Once they arrived, Rosalyn was not shocked to see the dome like structure up. When Hayden told her she needed to find a way in she knew exactly where. "There is only one entrance to this structure. That part is probably the hardest to breakthrough. I would say the weakest part would probably be where it closes up top. But neither up us can fly and even if we do manage to get up there we will fall pretty far down." Rosalyn was thinking about taking her braclet off. She was good at hand to hand combat and if she managed to get a gun that would be great, but if she couldn't she could alters someone's memory to somehow make him/her stop. ~No. That is a last resort, no one knows about it.~ "And try not to kill everyone. I need a powerful hostage if I don't find what I'm looking for here. So I will need to find o if who is in charge." Rosalyn wasn't planning kn fighting along side Hayden. She just said she would help him out and getting him in would be helping that. After she got situated so that she could move through the camp with minimal issues she was going to go to the file room.
