Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Hayden noticed Rosalyn's glare after he called her Rose. He had a feeling she didn't really like that. Instead of saying sorry to her, he just smirked at her. Rosalyn was already beginning to impress Hayden. She seemed very smart as she explained how to break the dome. Hayden agreed with Rosalyn's intent to find a hostage and interrogate it. After all, they were helping each other. Finding a way to get on top of that dome was their second priority, right now, they had to take down the guards protecting it from the outside. And that was Hayden's specialty.

He walked slowly and quietly towards a good lookout point, a tree. Climbing up to the strongest branch, he watched and tagged everyone around the dome. 20 Guards patrolled the whole place, around 10 non gifteds and 10 gifteds. "This is going to be easy." He whispered to himself. This was also a good time to use everything he studied with the "blood arts". Without hesitation, Hayden constructed a blood knife that could teleport the wielder to its thrown destination. He twirled the knife between his fingers until it had enough swing power to fly across the nearest guard. Before long, he released the knife as he watched it glide across the open field and sink deep into a gifted's heart. Allowing it to puncture through him as he cried painfully and dropped to the ground. Hayden abruptly teleported at the knife's landing point as small random red fragments appeared and exited Hayden's body, quickly fading away from sight like a fire being taken out while it's tiny bits of flames go out and vanish. The knife also dissolved, leaving small blood particles on the ground.

The two gifteds near their dead friend reacted quickly when Hayden appeared out of nowhere. Before they even had the chance to reveal their power, Hayden put a blood shard on each of their chests. 3 dead. 2 more non gifted soldiers attacked him. He redirected their bullets in quick succession. Luckily, a few bullets hit their bodies. There were more of the guards coming on his way, he couldn't kill them all at once. He needed his pets. Immediately harvesting all the lifeblood of the downed guards, he summoned a large blood sphere that swiftly became a large horrifying 4 legged creature that had blood shards as skin. The creature charged towards the waves of enemies as it was accompanied by more summoned wyrms. While the leader of the pack, Claiyre, accompanied her master. Hayden looked at the dome, If I can have a good blood grip on the steel surface, maybe I can make it to the top. Hayden looked at Claiyre and she promptly knew what her master was thinking about. She dove down her master's feet and transformed herself into several blood shards that could help stick to the dome and prevent Hayden from falling. He speedily ran upwards the dome with the help of his short range teleporting and finally reached the top where his right hand revamped into a large and sharp blood spike and pierced down the upper dome. It would take a few minutes and Hayden wasn't exactly in cover. Gunfire surpressed him to move freely.

Then, in a few seconds, everything went quiet. The only sound that was to be heard was the faint cries of the dead guards. Hayden looked down, trying to keep his grip up. Everybody below was dead. Some were mauled by the large beast and some were punctured easily through their torsos. He wasn't proud of what he was doing, but he kept believing that it was for the best. He was a very stubborn man. Hayden's pets began to dissolve into recoverable blood fragments and flew back inside their master's body. Recycling lifeblood was the best technique his mentor taught him.

And, with one final strike, the dome cracked, then it shattered and created a hole enough to fit Hayden. He pulled out his phone and texted Amelie again, "Knock knock." He pressed send.

Rosalyn sighed. It was like Hayden didn't hear what she said earlier about keeping people alive. She went and searched for the bodies, since it was sting to take some time for Hayden to get to the door and get it opened for her. She felt bad for the soldiers but since they were Dea dshe had no idea if they were forced into their occupation or joined on a free will. She took on of the guns and waited.

Amelie heard the crash of the top of the dome being destroyed. "What the hell?!" ~How did the hell did he even get up there?~ Her armor formed on her Boyd and her sword in hand. Her wolf formed, but she was just going to use it as a distractions of some sort or tracking. "The dome has been penetrated. Need all available GA'S in the courtyard." After thst she headed over to said place sending her wolf on a head of her to scout the area.

A couple of minutes had passed now since Vulcan had injected the healing serums in his system. He was about to leave his body go to sleep and keep his senses on alert for any danger. But then, they heard the dome crack. The dome that was this huge steel structure with meters thick walls was now giving up on them. How long has it been since Hayden had arrived? And it already didn't hold. Vulcan stood up again and quickly headed for the door, now feeling only some stinging pain in his shoulders and chest but not in his arms. The pain killers were fading away but being able to use his arms was a start. However, throwing a punch was still out.

Hayden watched as the GA's formed up in the courtyard. He observed that a few of them were shivering in fear and the others already started charging up their power. What is Amelie thinking? All her infantry in one place? Easier than I expected. He glimpsed back at Rosalyn, "You okay there?" he asked with a shouting tone. Concerned of her safety, he summoned his best wyrm, Claiyre, to guard Rosalyn's side. "Don't worry! My companion will protect you!" He had to shout as loud as he can since the dome was so far away from the ground.

As Claiyre released her blood grip from Hayden's feet, he hastily hopped down the dome as he crashed in the middle of the courtyard. In front of all the GA's. The crash released a burst of blood fog that momentarily blinded everyone around Hayden.

(Remember don't make him too op. With that many people he has to be getting hit somehow)

"Remember what I said! I don't want too many casualtie!" She yelled out. When the wyrms came to her side, Rosalyn growled. "Back away creature. I don't need your protection." ~Not like anyone is out here.~

The burst of blood may have blinded some of the agents but Amelie's wolf wasn't affected by stuff like that. Instead it ran up to him and shattered, like a bomb going off, needles of ice going after him.

Kytha began walking calmly towards the prison and towards her cell. Her steps were light and ready to move if they tried anything on her. The smell of the place burned her nostrils and she growled in distaste.

When she heard noises, she stopped in her place. She flopped around to see Amelie's ice wolf shattering and Hayden landing in the centre of the place. Her heart paused. Hayden. She began running towards him. Her feet steady and quick. She got closer and closer till she was in front of Hayden. "STOP!" She screamed and held her arms out towards him.

Tucker felt nervous when Kytha began to walk away, though he was mostly confused as to why nobody was doing anything to him. Taking this moment to his own use, Tucker quickly began vibrating his arms at high speeds, the pain beginning to course through his body as the handcuffs reacted to his use of his Gift. Sure enough though, the handcuffs clattered to the ground and Tucker doubled over for moment, gasping while the pain slowly ebbed away.

Standing upright again, Tucker looked over to see Vulcan seemingly preparing himself to make a break for it or something. Hating the agent with a passion for what he did, Tucker angrily stalked over to him before pausing at the foot of his bed and crossing his arms over his chest while looking down at Vulcan. Smirking, he then said, "What's the matter, wolf? Too weak to hold your own in a fight now?"

Before Tucker could continue the interaction though, he heard the metal from the dome breaking and soon a concussive sound as something landed in the courtyard area. In a flash, Tucker was standing outside and quickly assessing the situation. Seeing Kytha putting herself in harm's way, what with that ice wolf's shards going everywhere, Tucker went into action and sprinted around the now slowly moving shards to sweep Kytha off her feet and then out of harm's way. He then set her down on her feet and gave her a goofy grin before moving in quick action, as he began to move all of the agents in the area away from the stranger in the center. Blinking at the odd cloud that seemed to be messing with his vision, Tucker then skidded to a halt and began creating windmills with his arms in front of himself, small vortexes forming and beginning to suck the crimson cloud out of existence.

Once satisfied that the area was cleared of the odd substance, Tucker then stayed at the side to see if the shards would hit Hayden or not. After all, as much as Tucker hated these people for what they'd done to him, he wasn't about to see anyone die, or kill someone.

Xander grinned at Vulcan and said, "Yeah, just stings here and there now. I should be fine by tomorrow if they keep using those serums on me." Upon seeing Tucker's actions nearby, Xander's eyes widened and he grimaced when he tried to sit up and stop Tucker. Realizing he'd be no use right now in his current state, Xander lay back down on the bed and let out an irritated sigh. Hearing Tucker taunting Vulcan, Xander frowned and then said, "Back off, prisoner." Yet, before he could get another word in, Tucker was gone and the bed sheets all flew up slightly along with any papers in the vicinity flying every which way from the concussive wind that was the only sign that Tucker had just been in the room with them to begin with.

Piper continued to watch everything unfold in silence until Hayden pierced the dome and jumped inside of it. It was bad enough that he was killing everyone so freely. That man was too powerful and dangerous for his own good. They'd kill him this time for sure. Seeing an opening to talk with Rosalyn, Piper flew down to a bush nearby and was about to present herself when some odd, demonic creature appeared at her side. Inwardly cursing herself for such poor luck, Piper then shifted into what she hoped would look like a stray dog, an Australian shepherd. She then trotted out of the bush and barked at Rosalyn before wagging her tail and doing her best to pretend that she was just some random dog that was really happy. Hoping that Rosalyn would read her mind, Piper then thought, 'You're with the wrong crowd, mind reader. Hayden's more likely to kill you to get his way than he is to work with you. All he wants to do is kill everyone in his way. Trust me, I would know.' Still hoping that Rosalyn was reading her mind, Piper then began to remember when Hayden had killed hundreds of innocent lives in the city, which in turn resulted in a deadly fight between Amelie, Vulcan, Xander, Hayden, and herself, Piper. The screams engulfed Piper's mind and she even visibly winced at the memory. It was a very dark one indeed.

Hearing the dome breaking nearby, Larassa let out a guttural growl and then charged outside to see what was happening. Upon seeing Tucker's actions and then the figure in the center, Larassa decided that combat was most likely about to occur. Still, she held herself back for now, as she wasn't exactly certain of what was going on just yet.

Vulcan gave Xander one last worried look that basically said "Don't move from here". Then, he ran after Tucker through the door and down through the hallway towards the exit. No one tried to stop him as everyone was starting to get some cover, all frightened, mumbling incomprehensibly with fear written over their faces. How could one blame them? They were praying for their lives. Ordinary people doing what they were supposed to do - nurses, doctors - those people had been saving lives but soon that wouldn't matter. Images from the hospital jumped in his mind - the rivers of blood, the wide open mouths and eyes filled with inexplicable shock and pain, the stench of the worst kind of Death. Vulcan shook the images off. He couldn't think of that right now. His own pain was slowly returning. With each step he took, he could hear his ribs make small cracking noises. Each time the broken ones were slightly rubbing against each other, it was sending waves of pain over his chest. He pulled two of the four syringes filled with pain killers from his pocket and injected them into his waist still while running. He then threw the empty shells to the ground and just as he was going through the door, shifted and ran for the group. At first, he could only barely see them through the fog but their outlines were clear. Soon, the fog had dispersed. He could see Hayden, then Kytha, then Tucker and a whole army of GA behind them, some of them still not able to see clearly but getting there. What was the damn point of those guys - food for the blood wielder. Vulcan stopped as he was standing next to Kytha, keeping a good distance from Tucker who still didn't really have the greatest opinion on him. He was keeping his head low, staring at Hayden, not growling to save his breath and energy.

Rosalyn quickly turned and pointed her gun at the bushes when she heard movement. When a dog came out and up to her she put the gun to her side. "What are you doing here little one?" A smile formed on her lips and and knelt down and began petting it's hair. Hearing the thoughts she wanted to pull her hand away, the dog could have been an enemy agent but once the memories began to show she removed her hand. The memories hurt. She leaned down to tall into the dogs ear. "I'm realizing that. He killed those soldiers. They didn't need to die. No one needs to die." She pulled away and patted Piper on the head. Her eyes moved to look at the wyrms and then back at her. If she were going to do anything the wyrms would need to go but this wyrm seemed intelligent.

Piper let out a small whine to keep up the dog act, but she quickly shifted her gaze to the wyrm before thinking to Rosalyn, 'We have to take care of that thing. I doubt it'll let us just go.' Easing around Rosalyn, Piper decided to try and separate the wyrm from her so she let out a snarl before easing into a growl, while crouching down and staring right at the wyrm in a way of challenging it, or taunting it.

Everything happened so quickly for Hayden. He had only a few seconds to look at what seemed to be his sweet innocent girl, Kytha, until she was swept away by another gifted that also dissipated his blood fog. Rather than anger, worry and concern for Kytha consumed him so much that he forgot about the ice shards which cut through his left knee. Making him limp while he walked towards Kytha as fast as he can while the guards were still recovering from the blood fog. As he reached Kytha, excitement and happiness rushed through him. He dropped hard on the ground and groaned, but looking at Kytha's beautiful face was enough for him to recuperate back on his knees.

Without hesitating, Hayden hugged her tightly and didn't think of anything. "Long time no see, girl." He whispered in Kytha's ear, still using the nickname 'girl' to her. Everything was chaos all around but he took this time to physically say sorry to her for leaving her alone by hugging her tight. I never thought I'd see Kytha here. But she needs to step away from this fight.

Claiyre was suddenly triggered by the moment the stray dog tried to challenge the intelligent wyrm. She went up to Rosalyn to protect her, not knowing that the dog was actually Piper and Rosalyn was attempting to betray Hayden. Claiyre roared back like a faint cry of a viper, her fangs went up and blood poison started dripping down her mouth.

Kytha hugged him back after a moment in shock. Her heart suddenly felt like it fell through her body to the centre of the earth. Now I like both of them. What do I do? Her heart plummeted so far down. Her eyes became empty as she thought. All she can do right now is try to stop the fight. If he fights, he may kill Tucker and Amelie and Vulcan and me. I can't stand to lose any of them. I may hate Amelie but she means a lot to Vulcan. She pulled herself from the hug and looked at him. "Hayden.. Please don't do this. Almost all these people are innocent. And if you kill any of our chasers I don't know what I'd do. Hayden, they mean a lot to Vulcan who means a lot to me. Just, please Hayden, don't fight them. I can't lose any of the people I know here. It's hard to understand. I know that but just try to understand."

Hayden listened Kytha very carefully. What she was asking was very risky and gave no sense to him. But Hayden felt like this was Kytha's request to him over and over again. He never obeyed his girl for just one time. So Hayden accepted. He pushed away all the consequences of his decision, he chose this decision because it would satisfy his girl and show her that he still cares. He eased his hug from Kytha and let go, as he smiled at her and nodded. "I'll do anything..." He said with a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment.

In sudden alert, Hayden heard the sound of someone calling Kytha. Then, the man raised a rifle facing Kytha, threatening her to stop moving. At that, he stood up, still limping from the ice shard. And in quick succession, blood tentacles started growing out of his back, each tentacle's end had a sharp mouth that targeted the man holding the rifle. The tentacle's jaws hungered wildly at the sight of this enemy, blood poison dripping down both Hayden and the man. "You touch her, and I'll make sure your head won't be attached to your neck anymore." He said with a threatening voice.

Kytha's eyes softened when Hayden said he would. "Thank you." She whispered. When that agent aimed a gun at her she snarled. The tentacles from Hayden made her jump and step back just for precautions. "Hayden. I'll handle it." She stepped around him and in front. "Listen you. I am not going to let you hustle me around when right now, I'm saving all your asses. You know, if I wasn't right here right now, you'd already be dead so put the damn gun down and back away nicely. Her growl was dark and furious. "If you don't, you better pray to god you can run faster than a wolf."

(Your making this so hard for Kytha xD "I DUNNO WHO TO CHOOSE!")

Hayden stepped back when Kytha moved in front of him. The tentacles calmed down and guarded Kytha from all sides in case anything happens. When the man replied harshly again, the tentacles opened their jaws wildly with a faint clamor aiming at the man's head. But when the man lowered his weapon, the tentacles went back to it's resting state.

( Choose wisely Kytha! There can only be ONE. HAHHAHA xD )

Vulcan wasn't too surprised to see Kytha suddenly disappear out of his sight. Not only was she a born troublemaker just as him, she also had the speedster with her who apparently seemed to have a crush on her as well. This was such a bad situation. How did she manage to choose them? The two most powerful gifted in probably the known world. He watched their interaction from a distance, then the chocking of Richter, one of the newest recruits. Obviously new enough to not know what he's dealing with. Once he had been let go however, Vulcan walked over to the restored rebel group. "Forgetting someone, Kytha?" he mentioned and stood next to her, trying to keep his distance from both Hayden and Tucker now. He was talking about Toron, her little brother, that was not only the last and only part of her lost family but could also offer them one of the best if not the best protection. "And we might want to do it fast." he added and turned his head to look at all the agents behind them recovering from the fog and raising their guns at them, others charging their gifts - fire, electricity, wind, water, earth, Therians... there was at least one of every kind. And they had just agreed on not fighting them. However, that didn't mean they had heard their conversation or agreed to it.

Hayden glared at Vulcan when he stepped in. His tentacle creatures began taunt Vulcan again, their jaws opening wildly. "Why are you here? Talk." He said with a fierce voice.

Vulcan bared his teeth but in a not threatening manner, tail hanging low, ears pressed onto his skull. He was somewhere between submissive and neutral. He knew he wouldn't survive for long in a fight against Hayden or his tentacles, not with these injuries. "I am not welcome here anymore." he said quietly. "I wish to join the rebellion once again or whatever you are calling yourself now." this was directed at Kytha - the rebellion leader. It was her ultimate decision.

Hayden gaped at Vulcan with disgust, "And you think you're welcome in this group? You think we're just going to let go off everything you've done?" He replied with an intimidating tone. He then looked at Kytha and pointed to Vulcan, "He left you to rot... didn't you remember? Remember the day when this guy you called brother left you to die?!" His tentacles still being aggressive at Vulcan. Hayden looked at his tentacles, their jaws open like hungry piranhas. "Sooner or later these things are going to get hungry and they've decided to eat wolf for dinner."
