ANONASAI
The Worldwalker, The Heretic, The Pyrokene
Hayden noticed Rosalyn's glare after he called her Rose. He had a feeling she didn't really like that. Instead of saying sorry to her, he just smirked at her. Rosalyn was already beginning to impress Hayden. She seemed very smart as she explained how to break the dome. Hayden agreed with Rosalyn's intent to find a hostage and interrogate it. After all, they were helping each other. Finding a way to get on top of that dome was their second priority, right now, they had to take down the guards protecting it from the outside. And that was Hayden's specialty.
He walked slowly and quietly towards a good lookout point, a tree. Climbing up to the strongest branch, he watched and tagged everyone around the dome. 20 Guards patrolled the whole place, around 10 non gifteds and 10 gifteds. "This is going to be easy." He whispered to himself. This was also a good time to use everything he studied with the "blood arts". Without hesitation, Hayden constructed a blood knife that could teleport the wielder to its thrown destination. He twirled the knife between his fingers until it had enough swing power to fly across the nearest guard. Before long, he released the knife as he watched it glide across the open field and sink deep into a gifted's heart. Allowing it to puncture through him as he cried painfully and dropped to the ground. Hayden abruptly teleported at the knife's landing point as small random red fragments appeared and exited Hayden's body, quickly fading away from sight like a fire being taken out while it's tiny bits of flames go out and vanish. The knife also dissolved, leaving small blood particles on the ground.
The two gifteds near their dead friend reacted quickly when Hayden appeared out of nowhere. Before they even had the chance to reveal their power, Hayden put a blood shard on each of their chests. 3 dead. 2 more non gifted soldiers attacked him. He redirected their bullets in quick succession. Luckily, a few bullets hit their bodies. There were more of the guards coming on his way, he couldn't kill them all at once. He needed his pets. Immediately harvesting all the lifeblood of the downed guards, he summoned a large blood sphere that swiftly became a large horrifying 4 legged creature that had blood shards as skin. The creature charged towards the waves of enemies as it was accompanied by more summoned wyrms. While the leader of the pack, Claiyre, accompanied her master. Hayden looked at the dome, If I can have a good blood grip on the steel surface, maybe I can make it to the top. Hayden looked at Claiyre and she promptly knew what her master was thinking about. She dove down her master's feet and transformed herself into several blood shards that could help stick to the dome and prevent Hayden from falling. He speedily ran upwards the dome with the help of his short range teleporting and finally reached the top where his right hand revamped into a large and sharp blood spike and pierced down the upper dome. It would take a few minutes and Hayden wasn't exactly in cover. Gunfire surpressed him to move freely.
Then, in a few seconds, everything went quiet. The only sound that was to be heard was the faint cries of the dead guards. Hayden looked down, trying to keep his grip up. Everybody below was dead. Some were mauled by the large beast and some were punctured easily through their torsos. He wasn't proud of what he was doing, but he kept believing that it was for the best. He was a very stubborn man. Hayden's pets began to dissolve into recoverable blood fragments and flew back inside their master's body. Recycling lifeblood was the best technique his mentor taught him.
And, with one final strike, the dome cracked, then it shattered and created a hole enough to fit Hayden. He pulled out his phone and texted Amelie again, "Knock knock." He pressed send.
