You can think of it as being much closer to wuxia media, with abilities further down the Avatar spectrum being reserved for extremely Blessed people (think legendary figures). At this period in history, though, usage is pretty much non-existent since the gods "abandoned" the clans.

we aren’t that strict on faceclaims; of course we like for the fcs to be as close to the inspired ethnicities (chinese for shizu, japanese for shinsora & yurei, mongolian for dülaan, korean for hyeon & daeya) as possible, but understand that finding the correct fc along with the correct vibes can be difficult.

we do like for the fcs to suit their in story ages , meaning no minors playing 18+ characters and no 30 year olds playing 50 year olds etc. other than that, feel free to go for what you feel encapsulates your character the most!

it is a bit of both. technically the people still have their qi and could use it if they go thru specific, vigorous training since it still exists in all life forms, but the problem is that without the gods and their blessings, the access to the use has been sort of blocked? or at least made way more difficult. this is due to the mortals abusing their qi to make war. so with people no longer being able to use qi like they used to and new people not having the access to their qi like before, the usage faded with time.

Hi! Yes, that's plausible. Since the clans need to work together on this one, they'll be sending people with different skills and not just all warriors ^^

I think we apply for whatever spot catches our interest and then the GM's pick whichever characters are the best fit for the roleplay.

ye I just tweaked it so that it better fit my char, since he's very much intended to be a blend of Dulaan and Shinsora in aesthetic/ethos
