Once she had punched a boy for taking her candy, which she wasn't supposed to have. Her record followed her into middle school, then Jr high, and now high school. All the teachers tell her she needs to change, but she doesn't want to. She's hardly ever seen without some kind of candy on her or in her mouth, whether it be gum, ring pop, suckers, etc. This behavior earned her the school wide nickname of Sugar. She prefers that over her birth name. Juliet is too soft to her.

Trey was born to two Dominican hustlers who'd relocated to the Chicago area in hopes of escaping the harshness of their home country. During the couple's second year of living in Chicago, having only barely secured enough money to rent a working home, Trey's mother became pregnant with him. In an attempt to get more money for the family, Trevon's father was forced to turn to drug dealing and gunrunning as the family would soon come to expect his younger sister, Terry. His mother spent most of her time at home with the kids, while his father only got more and more entangled with drugs and gang violence, and was ultimately killed in a gang shootout. Awestruck at the death of his father, Trey hadn't even attended the memorial, and at the prime age of 14 was forced to work alongside his mother. His mother had become a supermarket clerk, whilst he carried on his father's dope dealing legacy, hence his nickname Dope Boy as his access to the school area aided in selling more hard drugs. Trey's emotions grew colder as he became a more experienced, and capable drug dealer than his father, acquiring his first gun at age 15 and murder at 16 (though its yet to be uncovered). Trey, outside from dealing drugs, was also a basketball stud, and lead the Cane Ridge squad to two championships in his freshman and sophomore year as the star scoring point guard (a school record 6,943 points and averaged 44.7 points per game in those two years, two points shy of the High School All-Time record, as well as the highest recorded PPG and APG in Cane Ridge history). He was ultimately kicked off of the team though as a cause of his temper and drug usage, and has been a full-time hustler since, skipping classes and supporting for his mother and now 15 year old sister.

He and his younger sister didn't have everything but they had a lot. He was 6 when his dad got injured at work. His mom had just found out she was expecting. She had to go back to work for the first time in six years. With his dad staying at home, he began to fall deep into depression and alcoholism. Every penny they made went to booze and pain killers for his dad. After a few years his dad died of an over dose leaving his mom, 2 siblings and himself in debt and lower than they could imagine. They moved to a small 2 bedroom apartment in the lower part of town. Ethan found himself slipping into the life around him. He began selling drugs and stealing to help his family out. He has to hide his life from his mom knowing it would break her heart if she knew what he was really doing. At the age of 16 he became a father and began trying to get his life straight. Life had other plans when tragedy struck just 6 months later when the mother of his child was gunned down in a drive by shooting, being at the wrong place in the wrong time. He got full custody of his son and fell deeper into drug dealing. He began working hard at the only life he knew to provide for his son and family. Hopeing to one day get his family out of the situation they were left in, he works hard at school and does what he can to get ahead.

If anyone who doesn't know Florinda that well would have to describe the young woman in one word, the first that pops into mind is "tough," and the second, "bitch." Though being a pretty face, Flow has a bit of a reputation for not being the friendliest girl on the block, therefore making it very challenging to befriend her. When the young woman does open her mouth it is either to correct or insult someone, or to make a sarcastic remark. She's very blunt and straightforward, and doesn't hesitate to put someone in their place. She's very articulate and observant, and tends to notice things about people that they may not even be consciously aware of themselves.

With the aid of her eloquence, Flow is very manipulative, like her father was, and finds joy in getting others to do as she pleases. Other traits she inherited from her father include her exceptional fighting abilities; she's been training for boxing since she first learned how to walk. This, of course, does not mix well with the young woman's short-temper and anger issues; she has gotten into multiple fights since she was in elementary school. She's even sent one person to the hospital.

Despite her tough exterior, Florinda is actually a genuinely friendly young woman when you get to know her. Despite her resting bitch face, when she's with her friends, she is rarely seen without a goofy grin on her face. She can be described as the bright ray of sunshine in a group, always trying her best to make others happy whether it be by giving them authentic compliments or cracking jokes. Many of her friends also describe her as adventurous and spontaneous; she's usually the one trying to get people to step out of their comfort zones and try something new.

Florinda Castro was born on December first to Miguel Castro, a Dominican boxing coach by day and drug lord by night, and Mariana Castro, a Jamaican pharmacist. The family of three resided in a small, two bedroom home in the slums of Chicago. Growing up, Florinda was constantly getting into trouble, whether it was in school or around the city. She was only six years old when she was first suspended from school after getting into a fight on the playground; the boy she'd beaten up had been making fun of her hand-me-down clothes. By the time she was twelve, she'd been suspended from school multiple times and had even begun hanging around with local gang members. Worried for their daughter, Miguel and Mariana put Florinda into boxing to manage her anger issues and keep her occupied.

Ever since Florinda started boxing, her life turned around completely; she rarely got into trouble in school, the only exception being a couple of detentions here and there, and found a new group of friends within her high school. She grew up to be a very skilled boxer, even winning the state championship when she was fourteen. The boys who also trained in her father's gym simply referred to the girl as "flow" because of the way she moves in the ring. Things were going great for the young woman until the day three police officers came knocking on her front door.

Miguel Castro was arrested during Florinda's Sophomore year of high school. The young woman watched from behind her mother as the officers forced her father to the ground, handcuffed him, and carried him away. Later she would find out that her father was to serve 15 years in prison.

Ever since her father was carried off to prison, Flow's life has slowly begun to spin out of control. In order to keep the bills paid and keep food on the table, the girl often found herself stealing from local corner stores and participating in illegal street fights. She has even resorted to selling drugs on the corner for someone her father used to work with. She knows that her father would be disappointed if he saw what his daughter become, she doesn't really care. At the end of the day, she and her mother have to figure out how to survive without him, and Flow was going to do that by any means necessary.

Juniper was born into wealth and a place of privilege, much like most - if not all - of the Blue Water Heights students. Her mother is an icy businesswoman and her father a disingenuously charming surgeon which means that they aren't around as much as they should be but despite this the family have very close ties with one another. It's almost like the distance helps their relationship. Juniper has an older brother named Sage, but she doesn't see him much due to their parents disowning him because of his . . . lifestyle choices. Her parents consider Juniper their do-over child, and she's realized this ever since she was a child. As much as that bothers her, Juniper has gotten used to to the point of not caring anymore. Growing up Juniper has had to learn from trial and error of the adults around her of what not to do and what not to be like. She's been introduced to many corrupt personalities in her life thanks to her parents' status and because they never wanted to see Juniper end up like any of those people they've embedded a pretty good moral compass into her being while also giving her the mindset of a headstrong young woman that never lets anyone walk all over her. To many she comes off as bitchy and intimidating which is why she doesn't have many friends; which she is fine with her. If the people around her see her as less than she is worth then she wants nothing to do with them. In school she busies herself with quote a few clubs including Book Club, Creative Writing Club, and Yearbook Club; she would've been in other clubs but nothing else really interested her. When it was announced that the Blue Water Heights students would be heading over to Cane Ridge she was a bit skeptical first, almost taking up her father's offer of transferring schools, but she then realized that this was nothing more than a challenge to overcome so she decided to stay and test the waters a bit.

History:
Kate grew up in the "ideal" American family. Youngest of 3 children, Kate's older siblings seemed to fit the stereotypical roles. Her oldest brother was the Top Jock of his days in school which carried on to a sports scholarship that had him on the path to Olympic participation. Next came her sister, the genius as her dad called her. Her sister was in her 2nd year of university and flying through it like it was first day of kindergarten.

Kate was by no means less loved by her parents, in fact they pushed her to find what she was most interested in and from an early age Kate had a love for music. Her parents quickly signed her up for lessons in any instrument she liked so her after school days were dominated by Piano, Violin and guitar lessons.

High school life was going good for Kate, she had offers from Julliard and even R.A.D.A in London for scholarship. Then it all changed on one night.

Kate sometimes went to parties and typical high school events and that night was no different. She and her then boyfriend had been steady for a while and decided to lose their virginity to each other. Queue a pregnancy despite being safe and Kates world was tilted completely.

Her parents were shocked that their daughter could do such a thing to them and a number of names were thrown around "Harlot" and "Whore" being the tame ones. The chance to switch schools came at the right time as Kate was then "volunteered" to move schools and would have been thrown out of home if not for her aunt agreeing to take her in.

Fearing her aunt would treat her like her parents did, She actually found the opposite. Her aunt took her in and was happy to help Kate how she could. The boyfriend had long taken off after hearing the news, so Kate took the chances given as a fresh start.

Yaling was born in Japan, but when she was five they moved to America. She made a few friends, but then her parents had her put in a private school. She tried to see them as much as she could, but her parents wanted her focus to be on school. She listened and put all her focus on school and her studies. Soon she became the top of all her classes. When she hit her teenage years she felt the pull to her home culture. When she was outside of school she dressed in a style known as Fairy Kei. Her schools uniforms didn't allow her to truly express it all the time, but she at least was able to do it outside of school.
When her school burned down she was sad, but she learned that Cane Ridge didn't use uniforms. She was happy because she could express herself during school.

Personality: Adriana or Adri is the type of girl you wouldn't want to mess with in the wrong way. She doesn't really care what you do but, if you cross her the wrong way she will come after you. She is very overprotective of the family which is her twin and her younger brother.

She is very determined to make money so she and her siblings can have a better life for themselves. She can be a chill person and she's not very uptight and is willing to try anything new. She can get very aggressive at some points when it has something to do with someone trying to hurt her family or someone 'talking shit' about he family. She is very social and she has lots of friends and if they ever needed something she will always be there for them and never turn them down to help in need. She loves adventure and traveling to many different places she never been or seen before. She is a risk-taker and she loves to do things without thinking twice before she does it and deals with the problems later. She can get distracted at times and she zones out in her own head thinking about random things.

Bio: Adriana was born in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with along with her twin sister Angie and her younger brother Rafael. Her mother and her father were very happy in their younger years until they decided it was time to move to the U.S for a better life than they had in Mexico. When Adriana was 5 they moved to the Chicago. From the pictures, Adriana saw it didn't look that bad until she actually saw the neighborhood she was living in and that's when she realized she was living on the east side of the town. She didn't care where she was living unless it was with her family and that took a huge turn in her life.

When Adriana turned 15, this changed really quickly for her family. Her father was now an Acholic and very abusive more to her mother and being abusive to her mother she became addicted to drugs. Adriana tries to run away from home but it never works and every time she did she get hit by her father repeatedly. One day Adriana and her sister Angie went to school and they stayed out a little late to have a small part at one of her friend's house and that's when she discovered weed for the first time and she loved it. Weed was the only thing that helped her forget everything in her life that was going on at home.

Her sister and Angie were really close to each other even though they did share a womb together, they both were taking care of their little brother Rafael since her mother couldn't do it because she's always high and their father finally left them with another woman. It was harder to make money since their father left since they found out that's where all the money was coming from. Adriana and Angie

both knew what they had to do and that survive. Thankfully the neighbors they had living next to them, they were drug dealers and the only option they could do was become like them to make easy money and to pay for rent.

They knew that their brother wouldn't approve of but, they had no other choice since their mother doesn't even work. Adriana knows that the east side isn't the perfect place but who needs money when you have a family, despite the drugs, weed, and crime, but we still have family and at least money is not breaking us apart at the end of the day. Now since these dumb idiots burn down the school at blue water heights, all that comes in mind is all the money she will be earning when she starts selling the weed.

History/Story: Demo has always lived in the hood for as long as she could remember. It was where the majority of family resided and all they could afford. She lives with her younger brothers as well as her mother. Although her mother isn't the one to show love and appreciation, Demo doesn't shun her for those actions because it is not all her fault. She loves her family with all her heart and would risk everything to keep them within safe hands. Her and her cousin, that never shows up to school due to gang activities, both go to Cane Ridge. Demo has always lived the life of a lone wolf because of her seemingly strange ability to know more about things then she lets on. She has struggled all her life to make friends and form bonds with individuals because of that. She had always been the oddball of her family, but no one has taken notice. Normal things that kids expressed at the time was something she could not express herself, and slowly she became the class outcast at a very young age. She was thrown into very heavy emotional roller coasters because of that and often lashed out at everyone because of it. She slowly began to not speak at all and never attempted to approach anyone. She chose to hold in her emotions to the point of not being able to feel them like a normal individual. Every emotion lasts for only split seconds before her seemingly resting bitch face would appear again. She has disguised that by faking every emotion that caters to a current event. Her face has always rested like that whether she is thinking or not, and she is seen as mean, rude, or extremely intimidating to some who have never spoken to her. Demo had always been a sweet person, but the treatment of others has made her very cold-hearted, but she hides it away with ease, making it very easy for her to manipulate emotions with ease; getting others to do her bidding. With her sociopathic tendencies she does her best to hide her past through traumatic eyes everyday.

Also I really apologize for the long description. I also don't really like my images for my character only because I created the character when I was young, with no reference but a pose base and traits from myself, as it is my persona. So none of these pictures I felt described my character well enough as far as what she looks like, so I'm a bit disappointed. The clothing is fine but the only problem with it is the skin tone as well as the hair color. A more accurate look for my character is really my profile picture, but yeah. Sorry for how long this is. I'll be taking my leave for tonight.​
