Fantasy The World of Od

The Warden heard the Twig's tale, of hearing an Elder, of the poison spreading from the south. "I have not left this forest for a millennia, sprout, did you indeed have a vision of a Elder? I have not seen an Elder since when I was but a sapling myself, so if this is true, it is a grave time, and I shall do what I can to shelter the woods from harm." He shifted uneasily, his great branches groaning and cracking. He had been a Watcher since hundreds of years ago, and not once had he left the forest. This would be a new world for him as well, if the need came to heed the call of the Elder.

Furattā woke up again, not being able to stay asleep because of her back. She coughed again. "C-can I have some water?" she asked in a shaky voice. Her throat was unbearbly dry. And some water would help with the blood loss.

Arias head perked up and smiled hearing the girl awake, she nodded and grabbed her staff feeling around for her canteen. When it was located she went back over to the girl "it is wonderful to hear your voice, we almost thought you were dead" she sighed and helped the girl sit up holding out the canteen.

Kitaru giggled softly. "I know right? only thing i dont like is when the sand get caught in my fur. makes it rally hard to clean off."

Akieta continued on, "I'm sure it does, I get it in my hair sometimes and it's almost impossible" she walked up the path towards the bar "it's so quiet here in the day"

Furattā gasped and cried out softly as she was sat up. Even the slightest movement hurt. But, she didn't try to squirm away from Aria. Instead, she leaned against her as she began to sip on the water. Her eye closed again as she did so.

After awhile, she'd deemed that she collected enough herbs to aid her. So she gathered them up into her arms, carrying them quite gingerly. Some of them still had bristles or thorns on them, which she'd need to remove once she returned to the cave. A part of her felt a bit better with herself, at least now she wasn't being a useless woman. Something she couldn't really stand and avoided when possible. Hopefully this would be enough to aid her. But they'd probably need to take her to a healer of some sort, just to make sure she was really okay.

Aria felt the cold body on her and gently put her arm around her to help support her. She hesitated slightly feeling the cold of the girls skin. "W-what is your name?" She asked, realizing she had never known it before.

"That makes sense" akieta opened the door and walked into the bar seeing produce line the counters "ta da!" She smiled and looked at the food. She shuffled through her bag for some small trinkets, mainly some shells or pieces of bottle smoothed out by the sea.

Furattā began to take bigger sips from thw canteem when she realized just how thirsty she actually was. Once she had had her fill of the water she opened her eye a crack. That made her feel slightly better. Not enough to put her out of danger, but enough to take away that one discomfort. "Fur-Furattā," she told the blind woman in an almost whispered tone.

Kitaru grinned as they neared the small shope before she started hearing bells being rung. "huh?" She lost interest in resupplying curious as to what was going on. "Something going on." She muttered ears perked up and alert. usually she kept them down or blocked out most of the sound when she was in crowded places but there was something exciting going on that had everyone gathering towards the center of town. She heard whispers of evil in the south. A Necromancer. "That cant be good at all"

When she arrived back into the cave, she noted that the butterfly woman had awoken, and was being tended to by the blind woman. A slight smile appeared on her lips, simply pleased to see that she was able to regain consciousness. "Do you have a bowl or something by any chance? Some of these herbs I have to mix together so they'll work properly." Kiran explained as she chose a spot nearby to sit and place the herbs. She began to sort them out into piles, and de-thorned or removed any harmful pieces that would not be needed or wanted.

"I have a bowl in the sachel over by the cave wall" she nodded and closed the canteen slowly lying the girl back down, a little closer to the fire this time and a blanket under head as a pillow.

Akieta walked out "kit, the inn keeper told me to give this to you, it's a letter from your friend" she looked a little worried her bag now filled with food and supplies for the trip "it mentions the south, do you think she's going to find the evil?"

Kit looked back to Kiki accepting the letter. "Possibly Saruka has always been the kind to look for adventure. and if there is a evil threatening the south and moving towards us it would make sense to assist.

Furattā rolled onto her stomach so her back would not be touching anything. Her bloody, torn-up clothes were sticking to her wounds though. It wasn't very nice and made her feel stiffer than she already felt.

She smiled a little bit "well then I guess the south is our first destination" she held onto her bag and started towards the town line, "I heard there is a great city of wizards in the south, not many come here, and they usually get drunk and pass out, not much magic"

"That doesn't sound very healthy" Kit pointed out "but yes to the south! Perhaps we can catch up to Saruka." she said before reading the letter that was left for her. "Hmmm says here that people are meeting up at Baron in order to get more information."

With a slight nod, she went over to the satchel and retrieved the bowl. From there, she began combining ingredients and mashing things together. None of it smelled entirely pleasant, but that wasn't really the point. It just needed to do it's job and help the girl feel better. Eventually she had a thick green paste, and after testing it, decided that it came out how she wanted. Leaving the other ingredients where they were, she headed over to the women and knelt beside the butterfly woman, showing her the contents of the bowl. "This stuff heals wounds, or at least helps them. I'll have to put it directly on your wounds, so it'll sting a bit. Alright?"

Akieta shrugged, "I know that, but that's why people come here, to get drunk" she stopped at the arch which marked the entrance to the town "but they might also be going there to fight, I mean, this is my first time out of town, I don't think I can fight any great evil" she fiddled a little bit with her hair

Furattā was losing conciousness again. Before she did, she managed out a nod before her one showing eye fell closed again. Her bunny toy was next to her, watching Kiran. It wasn't frowning, but it wasn't smiling either. Just watching with a blank expression.

Kits ears twitched slightly. "Were not going to fight any great evil, were just going on an adventure!" She grinned. "Weather or not we'll even run into any one to fight is unknown. they might get there before we do and take care of everything." she winked. "regardless we cant let fear stop us from exploring."

Akieta looked up and smiled a little "yea, you're right" she looked forward and took a step over the border "to Broan then?" She gave herself another on and pressed forward into the Forrest along the dirt road.

~~~~~Saruka, Kingsdale, The Green Dragon Inn~~~~~
Saruka was already halfway to Broan, she had spent all of the day either riding her Cloud Energy, at least, until it dissipated and she had to wait for her inner Shi to return to normal, or running, mostly on all fours because it tended to be a little faster than the way Humans ran. She arrived in Kingsdale at past noon, and stopped at The Green Dragon, mostly because she needed a rest and a strong drink, and partly because she wanted to see if there were any other adventurers like herself that were headed to Broan that she might be able to follow along with. She barged in the door, almost completely exhausted from her journey so far, and crawled up to the bar and ordered a large glass of Whatever-The-Barman-Had-At-The-Moment.
~Green Dragon Inn~ Jeni slowly woke up at the smell of warm food in front of her. She looked around and smiled to see she was with her brother, which meant she knew she was in a good place. She looked around at the people and noticed something waving by the bar, a tail. She watched it for a bit and got up holding her elephant close, her brother talking to one of the workers. She wandered over to the bar and took a hold of the tail, sitting down behind the stool and playing with it, giggling.
As she walked akieta surveyed her every surrounding, the new sights smells, and the new feelings of the ground beneath her feet. Usually it was sand, stone, or the gravel of the roads in the town. The soft crunching of the leaves was an interesting sensation to her feet.
