Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

Rose was about to say something back when she heard her papa tell them to come take a look at something in the mail. Her curiosity got the better of her and she walked over. “What is it?” She asked. “You two have been accepted to Hogwarts.” Xavier told her, showing Rose the letter. “Really?” She asked, looking at it. “Logan come here and check it out!” She said to her brother excitedly.

Logan remained sitting at the table. Right now being served pancakes was his main priority so he wasn’t getting up yet. He watched as Rose walked over to their dads. Then his brown eyes widened as Xavier told them that they had been accepted into Hogwarts. Hogwarts? The very place where his two fathers had gone and graduated from and met, and where his dad currently taught at? This was huge news! Logan had wanted to go to Hogwarts ever since learning about it, as he hoped to be able to use his magical abilities. He quickly hopped off the chair and made his way over to the rest of his family. “Hogwarts? Are you pulling our legs?” Logan asked. Aaron smiled and shook his head. “No Logan, not at all, come look,” he said. “Congrats my loves,” he said, so incredibly proud of both of his children.

Rose was bouncing up and down on her heels. She was going to get to go to Hogwarts, and even get to try Quidditch for real! She was going to the place where her dads went, where they met and graduated. And she couldn’t wait. “I can’t wait to go!” She said with a happy laugh. “Congratulations you two. I’m so proud and know you’ll do well.” He said smiling at his children, pride in his eyes.

“No way…” whispered Logan, initially stunned. But soon, a very big and eager smile came across his lips. “I’m going to get to learn magic! Bloody awesome!” Logan said excitedly. “That’s right lad,” replied Aaron with a grin. “Your dad and I are so proud of the both of you,” he said. “Looks like we’ve got two new little Hogwarts students!” Aaron said, very happy.

Rose had the widest smile on her face as she looked between her dads and then at her brother. “And I can play real quidditch just like you Papa!” Rose said happily. Xavier chuckled at the excitement from the two kids. “And I’ve got two new Charms students in front of me.” He said. “Don’t worry, no special treatment from me.” He said with a playful wink. Rose giggled at her dad. She couldn’t wait to go.

Aaron hadn’t even begun to think that Xavier would be teaching Logan and Rose as their charms professor. “Dad, promise you won’t embarrass us in class, will ya?” Logan asked with a groan, realizing his father would be one of his teachers. “Oi knock it off. Your dad’s a great teacher and he can embarrass his little baby boy all he wants,” replied Aaron, “You’ll always be our baby boy mate, no matter what you do,” he said.

Xavier chuckled hearing his son ask him not to embarrass them. “I will try my hardest to not embarrass you. Maybe.” He said with a grin. Rose was both enthusiastic that she’d be learning from her dad but he was also going to be there. So it was definitely going to be weird. “I will try and refrain from calling you my baby boy and baby girl.” Xavier said with a smile.

“You better, dad,” said Logan in a mutter, his face growing red. But, despite this, he was extremely excited to go to Hogwarts for the first time. Aaron couldn’t be more proud of both Rose and Logan.

A few weeks passed since the twins got their acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Xavier had been incredibly proud, and Rose was so excited to be going to Hogwarts. It was August 26th 2015, and the small family was on their way to Diagon Alley to get supplies for the twins for their first year at Hogwarts.

Rose was so excited as they made their way there. She couldn’t wait to get her books and supplies and even her own wand! Of course, she’d end up getting distracted looking at the brooms when they passed them on the way to get their books.

Aaron was bounding with excitement and pride for his two new future Hogwarts students. He almost seemed as excited if not, more so, than Logan and Rose- the two kids who actually were going to Hogwarts for the first time. Logan was an impatient kid, so the wait during July and into August was killing him. But today, it was August 26th, 2015, and the family had decided they’d take a trip to Diagon Alley so they could purchase the supplies both kids would need for school. The family of four travelled by floo powder and in an instant, they appeared in the bustling town of Diagon Alley. It seemed other families had the same idea too, as parents with young children looking around Logan and Rose’s age were out shopping. “Where to first, love?” Aaron asked Xavier. “We’ve got to get their first year books, get them fitted for their robes, oh and of course- wands!” he said.

Xavier looked over at Aaron thinking about that for a second. “We can start with robes, that way we don’t have our hands full with books.” He said. Rose was excited as she looked around at the different shops and other things to see.

“That’s why you’re the smart one,” chuckled Aaron. “Come on kiddos, we’re gonna go get you your robes,” he said, to the twins, getting ready to head over to Madame Malkin’s, the very place where Aaron had gotten fitted for his robes in 1991 as a young eleven year old boy, twenty four years ago. The family of four made their way to Madame Malkin’s and entered. Inside there were already a few children getting fitted for their robes.

Xavier chuckled himself. “See you don’t keep me around for my good looks alone.” He said, walking with Aaron into the same store he’d also gotten fitted for his robes in 1991. Rose was in awe of the robes, just another thing she was excited for. “Alright. We’ve got two kids who need robes.” He told the first worker who came over who asked. “The girl or boy first.” Xavier looked at his kids. “Who wants to go first?” He asked.

“It’s mostly the good looks though,” laughed Aaron. When they came into the establishment, they were immediately served and asked who wanted to go first, the girl, Rose, or the boy, Logan. “This looks boring dad,” groaned Logan. He looked around and saw other children getting measured by tailors. “Well why don’t you go first to get it over with?” Aaron asked. Logan sighed and rolled his eyes, “Fine. I’ll go first,” said the eleven year old boy.

Xavier rolled his eyes at his husband playfully. “Thanks dear.” He said. He watched as the man took his tape measure and worked on measuring Logan for his robes. It wasn’t a long process and eventually he was finished. They’d get a set of black plain robes for their first day and then they’d have their house robes sent up as soon as they knew their house. Rose was next, and once again, a quick measurement and both kids had a set of black robes for their first day. “Alright. Wands next?” Xavier asked, looking at the two.

Logan grumbled a bit as the tailors put tape measures against his body in order to fit him for his Hogwarts robes. Eventually he was given a set of the black robes that fit perfectly, and his sister was right after him. Both twins were now all fitted for their robes and left Madame Malkin’s with a nice set of the silky soft black robes required of all Hogwarts students. As they left and Xavier suggested they go get wands next, Logan’s eyes widened and he began to jump up and down excitedly. “Wands? Yea! Yea! Let’s go get wands!” he said eagerly.

Xavier laughed at the change in Logan from grumbling at getting his measurements taken to the excitement of getting a wand. Rose was right beside him, just as eager. “Wands! Yes!” She said excitedly. Xavier led the way to Ollivander’s where he’d gotten his wand way back when. The small family entered the store, a couple other kids in there getting their wands.

The family of four then headed over to the famous Ollivander’s Wand Shop where the two twins would get their magic wands for the very first time- wands they’d use for the rest of their lives. As they entered, there were a few other kids getting their wands. “Oh I’m gonna pick the coolest one!” Logan said excitedly. Then a man behind the counter turned around. “Ho ho my boy! That’s where you’re wrong. Haven’t you heard? The wand chooses the wizard, son,” said the man behind the counter. Logan looked at him, confused. How could that be, he wondered.

Xavier stood back, letting the wizard help his kids. Rose tilted her head as she walked over to him. He looked at her then at her brother. He mumbled a few words and grabbed several different wands. He set one pile in front of Logan and the other in front of Rose.

“I want you to hold each wand, try swishing it. The right wand will pick you.” He said. Rose started with the first one, and it shocked her. Nope. The second one did nothing. The third one in the pile. A cedar wand with dragon heartstring not only listened to her but she felt a connection to it. “This one!” She said excitedly. “Perfect!” He said as she took the box it came in, setting the wand inside carefully and holding it.

Logan watched as the man set a few wands in front of him and his sister. He watched Rose try out some wands and snickered as one of them shocked her- clearly not the wand for her. The third try was a charm though as a cedar wood wand seemed to connect with his twin sister. Logan tried out the first wand, made of dog wood, just like his papa’s. It gave a few sparks but nothing happened. He then picked up an acacia wood wand. The wand instantly flew out of his hand and rocketed across the room as he swished it. Clearly this wasn’t the one. Logan then picked up a twelve inch wand with a phoenix feather core- the rarest core of them all, made of wood from a maple tree. Logan felt an instant sense of connection with this wand. When he swished it, it seemed to be the perfect one for him. “I think this one, sir!” Logan said with an excited grin.

The old wizard nodded as he watched him try out the wands. “Perfect! That one’s a good one. A strong wand.” He said. Xavier watched with pride as they got their wands. They were growing up. Now it was time for books. They got the wands all taken care of and Xavier led them out the door. “Alright. Last stop. Books!” He said. Rose was just as excited for her books as she was her wand.

Aaron grinned as he saw his two children make connections with their wands for the very first time. It was a big step in a young witch and wizard’s life. Logan carefully put the maple wood wand into its case and the four left Ollivander’s Wand Shop. As Xavier stated their next stop, which would be getting the books they needed for their first year curriculum, he sighed and rolled his eyes. “That sounds so bloody boring,” he groaned, “Why don’t we skip it, yea?” Logan asked. Aaron chuckled- the boy really was like him. “Not at all mister. You absolutely need them,” he told him. “Besides, who knows if you’ll meet a cute boy who wants to help you study?” Aaron asked with a playful smirk. This caused Logan to widen his eyes and blush, looking away from his papa.

Rose laughed at the reaction from her brother when Aaron brought up having a cute boy helping him study. Xavier chuckled at him. “Yeah. These things happen y’know.” He said, looking at Aaron. Xavier led the way to the bookstore. It was probably the quickest stop they’d have all day. Rose walked around the bookstores looking for the books she’d need.

Aaron looked over and gave an affectionate smile to his husband. They had met in the very hallowed halls of Hogwarts (or technically the train, but their love bloomed there). He hoped that perhaps his children could find true love at Hogwarts. “Come on young man, you’re getting your books whether you like it or not,” said Aaron as he dragged Logan along to the book store. As they entered, Aaron looked to Xavier. “Well you would know what books they need for first year charms considering you assigned it,” laughed Aaron.

Xavier would never forget or regret meeting Aaron that day 24 years ago. Now they were getting ready to send their kids off for their own experience at Hogwarts. He could only hope that they’d find their own true love there. Xavier walked into the bookstore and looked at Aaron. “You mean I had to remember what book I assigned my class?” He said with a chuckle. It wasn’t hard to find the book for their first year of charms, and then he looked at the list for the rest of them.
