Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

Xavier smiled as Aaron basically screamed his name but he didn't care. He laughed as the other boy wrapped his arms around Xaie although the hug might've been a little too tight. He didn't want to say anything, just wrapped his arms around Aaron and returned the hug. Xavier's head naturally sat on top of Aaron as he was a few inches taller than the other boy. "I've missed you too buddy." He said, a blush on his cheeks as he could practically feel the excitement from the other lad. "I'm all better now, promise!" He said. Xavier pulled back a little to look at Aaron with a wide smile on his face. "Thanks for the help the other day." He said softly, his cheeks dusted pink before he stepped back. Then he heard his stomach grumble again, "Now, I think I deserve some breakfast" He said laughing.

“Thank heavens, I was so worried about you!” Aaron cried, “I’m so glad you’re better,” he said, grinning from ear to ear. “Come on! You must be hungry! Sit with us! I was just eating breakfast with Jacob!” Aaron said, smiling and pointing over to Jacob, who was taking a sip of something from his chalice. Once he put it down, Jacob gave friendly smile and wave over to Xavier. “Good thing you’re back lad, Aaron’s been moping around the castle without you,” chuckled Jacob. Aaron blushed at this. He was rather noticeably sad without Xavier.

Xavier still felt uncomfortable with Jacob, but his stomach beat him this time. He sat down beside Aaron and smiled at the boy. "I'm glad to be better too." He said with a grin. He filled his plate with food before he heard Jacob's sentence. "I missed you too, it was so boring in the infirmary" He said, looking at Aaron before taking a bite of some sausages. He caught the blush on Aaron's face after Jacob's words and felt a blush cross his face too. They had history of magic this morning and that one was aside from potions, probably the one class that Xavier had found interesting when he'd read the courses for their first year.

"I didn't realize how hungry I was" Xaie said as he finished off the sausages before popping some toast in his mouth. He really hadn't had much since breakfast Monday. He glanced at the clock and saw it was only 7:30. Students had started filtering in as Xavier finished his breakfast, his stomach full. "Did you want to go find our history of magic class Aaron?" He asked the boy. They had plenty of time to walk to the class and Xavier wanted to be away from other people. He didn't trust anyone except Aaron right now.

“Oh I bet!” Aaron replied as he sat down with Xavier. “I don’t know what I’d do all day! I’d go insane from the boredom!” he said. Aaron chuckled as Xavier expressed how hungry he was. “I guess being cooped up in the hospital wing will work you up an appetite,” he said. Eventually he finished his breakfast, belly full and ready to go. Aaron nodded as Xavier asked if he wanted to come with him to find where their first class of the day, History of Magic, was being held. “Yea! And in fact, I think Jacob’s got a map to help us!” Aaron said with a grin. “Isn’t that right?” Aaron asked as he pulled over Jacob with his arm.

Jacob chuckled softly and nodded. “I do. Still haven’t memorized it though,” he said. “Great then!” Aaron said, not waiting any longer, “Let’s get going!” he said excitedly. “Err I would’ve preferred to eat a bit more…” mentioned Jacob quietly. “You’ve had enough,” laughed Aaron as the three boys began to walk out of the Great Hall. Jacob then dug through his pockets and pulled out the map from his robes, unfolding the comically large piece of paper. It looked quite silly when Jacob held up the gigantic map, and Aaron found it even funnier and even cute when Jacob squinted and stuck out his tongue slightly when he focused on looking at the map.

Xavier couldn't help the small frown at the fact that Jacob was going to be joining them. He'd wanted to be alone with Aaron on their walk, he had so much he wanted to say, including the thanks he couldn't before. "Aaron, you could've let the boy eat" Xavier spoke up as the three walked down the hallway. He noticed that Aaron was looking at Jacob who was looking at the map, eyes squinted and tongue stuck a little ways out.

He turned his head away, choosing to walk in silence beside the other two. He knew what he was feeling now that he'd had a chance to think while he was alone. Xaie was jealous of Jacob and he hated it. Aaron had a right to be friends with whoever he wanted, but Xavier was jealous because he didn't want to lose the one friend who made him feel real happiness.

“There’s no time to eat- we’ve got class,” said Aaron with a grin, lightly and playfully punching Xavier’s shoulder as the three boys walked together. Jacob was too focused on the map to really be paying attention to any of the other boys’ banter. Aaron was waiting for the day when poor Jacob bumped into a wall or tripped while trying to read his map since he got so focused on it. It was a wonder to Aaron that Jacob managed to get around with no problem having his face stuck in that map all the time.

They all walked, following Jacob. “Erm, should be right around this corner,” said Jacob, hunched over as he read the map, honestly looking like an old man. Eventually, they arrived at the classroom. “Aaaand we’re here,” said Jacob, finally putting down his map. “Ladies first!” Jacob said with a playful grin, looking over at Xavier. This caused Aaron to laugh, all in good fun. At least that was how he saw it.

Xavier let out a little grunt at the punch. "Hey! Easy on the shoulder bud, its still a little sore" He said, looking at Aaron. Xaie was reluctantly tagging along and was getting more frustrated the longer it took them to get to the classroom. When Jacob said 'Ladies first' Xavier seethed but he schooled his features. "Then you first Jacob" He shot back a little less playful. This being in separate houses was frustrating because now Xavier felt, it wasn't true, but he felt that he had to compete for Aaron's friendship, and later on down the road he'll realize that it wasn't worth it because he would win.

It might take some time but he would win. Right now though? He could feel the frustration and it wasn't aimed at anyone but his own self doubt, yet because of that, it was directed towards Jacob. Without a word, he walked into the classroom ahead of the two boys and grabbed a stool at one of the tables, these ones were two to a table.

“Oh shush up you two, I’ll go in first if it’s really that hard,” laughed Aaron. Before Xavier went in first, Jacob just looked at him, an unreadable expression on his face. Aaron then followed Xaie, Jacob right behind him. Xavier was the first one to grab a seat. In this classroom, only two could sit at a desk. “Oi Aaron, sit over here with me,” said Jacob, finding a seat. Aaron looked over at Jacob and then to Xavier, debating who he should sit with.

He ultimately made his decision rather quickly. “Err, if it’s alright, I’m going to sit with Xavier, just because I haven’t seen him much and he’s been away in the hospital wing with no one to keep him company,” said Aaron. Jacob’s smile slowly faded but he did a relatively good job of hiding any annoyance if he did feel that. “Right then…” said Jacob softly as Aaron took a seat next to Xavier. The Gryffindor boy looked over at him and smiled.

Xavier had listened to Aaron, ignoring Jacob's stare. As he put his books on the table, he heard Jacob's words. Xaie turned his head away, not wanting to witness that Aaron would go sit with Jacob and not Xavier. His head came up, looking over at Aaron. Of course, Xavier wasn't one to brag but he couldn't help but feel his chest puff up a little as Aaron chose to sit with him instead. He didn't care the reasoning he gave Jacob, he just cared that Aaron had sat beside him.

"I never got a chance to really thank you for the other day. It um, it meant a lot to me" He said softly, turning towards Aaron and he felt their legs brushing together. "You didn't have to come find me, or bring me to the infirmary. But I'm glad you did" He added, they still had like 20 minutes before class started so he figured he'd get this out now before he had to deal with Jacob again.

As Aaron sat down, looking over at Xavier with a smile, the Hufflepuff boy had thanked him for his help and caring so deeply about him in the infirmary room. Aaron shook his head, “Mate, there’s no need to thank me at all, really,” he replied. “It was my pleasure. You’re my friend, and that’s what friends are for,” said Aaron. “I wanted to come, so that’s that,” he told him.

Xavier smiled. "I might not have made it though so I feel like the thank you is earned this time." He said, nudging the other boy with his shoulder gently. "I'll always appreciate it" He added. "I'm pretty happy to have a great friend like you though" Xaie said, smiling at Aaron beside him. He wondered where the teacher was as it was creeping up on 9:00am.

“I honestly thought you were going to die there, it was really scary,” said Aaron, recalling the day’s events. Maybe it was a little over dramatic but it seemed very real to Aaron in the moment that Xavier was that severely hurt and on the verge of death. “Glad you made it out though. Guess you can’t keep a strong kid like you down, eh?” Aaron asked with a chuckle as he pat Xavier on the back twice. “You’re as brave as a Gryffindor! Wonder why you weren’t sorted there,” he joked.

Xavier nodded, a shiver running down his spine. "I did too." He said softly. Then he looked over at Aaron, a smile on his face. "I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a strong kid" He shrugged with a light blush. He felt a jolt down his spine when Aaron patted his back and he wasn't sure why. "Gryffindor couldn't handle both of us in the same house" He said with a laugh. "Though, I don't know if I want to go back to my dorm..." Xaie hadn't heard much more about Eric or what had happened to him after the bathroom incident. He did miss Teddy though and the comfort of a real bed and not a hospital bed.

Aaron giggled at the thought of them being in the same house. The mayhem they could cause was endless. A perk though if they were in the same house was that Aaron would get to spend more time with Xavier. “Oh I bet you won’t have to worry much about going back to room with that dim witted ninny!” Aaron said. “I bet Dumbledore will expel his sorry arse!” he said with a grin, hoping that this was true. He’d badly beaten a fellow student- surely this was an offensive worthy of expulsion. Soon, something entered the room. The students turned around as an old looking ghost floated into the room.

He held a history textbook in his hands and took to the podium, introducing himself as Professor Binns. Aaron couldn’t believe one of his professors was a ghost. Rather than being cool though, Professor Binns’ voice was monotone and he sounded boring as he droned on. Just the mere sound of the ghost professor’s voice would be enough to put Aaron to sleep.

Xavier smiled, listening to Aaron. The boy was probably right, considering what Eric had done, there was no way the Headmaster had allowed him to stay. Xavier looked up as a ghost came into the room, their professor was a ghost. That's fascinating, well, if you wanted to listen to the monotone voice. Xavier was still a little tired from Monday, but physically he was fine. He could feel his eyes drooping and he shook his head, trying to wake himself back up before he got caught sleeping in class. "It's so weird to have a ghost as a professor" Xaie whispered to Aaron.

Aaron felt his eyelids drooping and the monotone voice of Professor Binns threatened to put the Gryffindor boy right to sleep. “Bloody hell, this is boring,” whispered back Aaron to Xavier. “Are you even paying attention to what this old coot is saying?” Aaron asked the Hufflepuff boy in a whisper. “He lost me the moment he said ‘Good morning class, I’m Professor Binns,’” snickered Aaron.

Xavier could only nod at Aaron's words, trying to hold back a laugh. "I thought ghosts were cool, until I met him." He whispered back to the Gryffindor with a grin on his face. "Good class to catch up on sleep" He joked considering this one was in the morning.

The two boys were lucky Professor Binns was so clueless. He just continued droning and lecturing on. Many students were bored and decided to talk in class with their friends. Binns seemed oblivious to this all, continuing his lecture. “You know what maybe I will catch up on some sleep,” said Aaron, laying his head down on the desk. “Wake me up when this torture is over,” he said to Xavier with a yawn.

Xavier smiled down at the boy. He placed a hand on Aaron's shoulder with a nod. "You got it mate" He said, before moving his arm and rested his head on it. His thoughts were running wild but he could feel sleep pulling him in. His eyes closed and he could feel himself dozing, his head rolling off his arm and resting near Aaron's head on accident.

It wasn’t hard at all for Aaron to drift off to sleep, laying his head on his arms on the desk. Professor Binns droned on, oblivious and clueless to the fact that most if not all of the students in the class were not paying attention to him. Many were fighting sleep, others were actually sleeping, like Aaron, and some were whispering with their friends about anything but the history of the Goblin Wars.

Xavier finally stopped fighting it, considering it had been all of 20 minutes into a two and half hour class. His eyes shut as he fell into sleep, his head never moved from where it had landed, the boys' hairs were almost touching. He let out a content sigh, the feeling of Aaron beside him lulled him into a sleep he hadn't known he needed.

Aaron didn’t realize since he was sleeping, but eventually Xavier fell asleep too, their hair and heads very close to touching each other. The class went on and finally it ended and Professor Binns concluded his lecture on the Goblin Wars and dismissed the class. Suddenly, Aaron was awoken from his sleep as Jacob shook him from behind. “Psst! Wake up mates!” Jacob said as he shook both Aaron and Xavier’s back to get them to wake up. Aaron sat up, slowly rubbing his eyes and feeling a bit groggy from his nap. “Bloody hell… I actually fell asleep…” he said softly. Jacob nodded, “Yea- you and the whole class,” he laughed. “That Professor Binns is a real snooze fest if you ask me,” snickered Jacob.

Xavier jumped a few inches in the air at the shaking on his back. He glared at Jacob, before breathing in deep trying to get his heart rate down. He didn't enjoy the jump scare even if it wasn't intended. Xaie yawned, rubbing his eyes as he looked over at Aaron. "I'll take that nap, it was good" The comment was aimed towards Aaron. He wasn't really in a trusting mood with any one else and was quite content to keep it that way. "I don't know about you, but I could go for lunch" Xavier said, standing from his stool and stretched his arms out to the side.

“Lunch already? Finally,” said Aaron with a grin as he got up from his seat. They would have lunch next and then, potions class with the infamous Professor Severus Snape. “C’mon, let’s go so we can get a good seat,” said Aaron as he gestured for both Xavier and Jacob to follow him out of the classroom. Jacob nodded and followed behind him.

Xavier walked right beside Aaron, refusing to give an inch of his friend to Jacob. Xaie was hungry, but he also didn't quite want to spend lunch with both Aaron and Jacob. It took less time to find the Great Hall than it did to find the History of Magic classroom. Xavier smelled the sandwiches and heard his stomach grumble. He proceeded to enter and found two open spots beside Hannah at his table. Part of him wanted to be petty and drag Aaron over to his table and leave Jacob on his own. This part seemed to be winning.
