What kind of monsters are there? I don't mean specific types, but like, are there undead, or demonic, etc. Cuz I'm thinking of some sort of Paladin type character, and if there are different types, he will probably specialize. And are there any gods or deities that people may worship? (going along with the pally idea lol)

There are all sorts of damn monsters in this world. If it could exist in the horrors of a youngling's mind, yes it exists. Now if we are going on general monster classifications, yeah there are your undeads, your demons, faeries are nasty creatures, etc.
People do their best to catalogue what exactly these horrible things are in better attempts to murder them the best they can. Like for example, a ghoulish creature might be held back by burning incense and it will dare not approach anything within scent range for that.
Yes there are a variety of gods and deities worshiped, some on local levels, others on more low scale levels.
Some of the bigger popular-scale gods include:
Tirros the Iron-hewn; he typically associated over the domains of Construction, Roads, Trade, and general trappings of Civilization. His general depiction is that of an old man, with smoldering eyes of coal and a smog covered beard that dominates most of his body sans several arms that stick out wielding a variety of tools. His worshipers keep a pretty steady organized structure as that is what Tirros would want, his churches are down right massive and have a lot of tradesmen within their walls making sure it rakes in profit and keeping it flowing. It's a pretty organized system of worship/prayers and tithings for him as he is a representative of the glory of organized civilization. Those who choose to not worship him often do so based on the idea of 'he is far too avaricious and will expand beyond what should be.'
Bulnja of the Wilds: she is typically associated over the domains of Wilderness, Sport Hunting and Ill-weather Patterns. Her general depiction is that of a woman covered in various face paints, clad in antlers and various furs. Her worshipers aren't well organized on a large scale level, but are essentially gathered via hunting lodges, which tributes to her are the largest or most dangerous thing hunted for game and those trophies decorate her halls. Those who choose not to worship her do it out of belief, which true believers fervently deny, that she cares for those horrible monsters, alongside the fact that even if we give her things why does she bring bad weather upon us?
Mivdall the Many-Faced: is typically associated over the domains of Performance Theater, Spies, and Music. Their general depiction is that of a single floating head which consists of several different faces from young to old, ugly to beautiful and to man and woman. Worshipers of Mivdall will worship Mivdall among the congregation of other gods, but they also worship freely among pubs and theaters built in dedication to Mivdall. It is easy to pick out worship of Mivdall as they prefer tribute to be given via the art of performance, so any real exaggerated worshiping is generally going to be towards them. Those who choose not to worship the many-faced do so because how can you trust one with so many faces.
As you can note this stuff will also be mentioned in the lore section.

- Another fine question! I think I have an idea of what sort of Paladin you might want to go for... Druid. Anywho let me answer this by pointing out prominent Kingdoms in the Venerated Kingdoms of Cridaes.I'll try to be fairly brief with this, cause I could very well get long-winded in describing these kingdoms. So I'm going to just describe the general kingdoms and not their underlying baronies and all that. And then I'll move these bits to lore as well.
The Cridaen Kingdom: This is the most important, and generally most renowned of the Venerated Kingdoms of Cridaes due to the fact this is the kingdom that King Azbarg founded and eventually made the unified kingdoms with. The capital city of this kingdom, is New Cridae, which makes sense considering that it is the historical lynchpin of the union. In modern times, it's been slacking a bit under the King Belzug III, who has generally harmed the regions coffers and usability of some of its farmland in the pursuit of further militarization of its specific forces and not that which it sends to the Sovereign (Azbarg IV who reigns as the elected Sovereign of the Unified Kingdoms as per the election via the nobles of the kingdoms) who resides in this kingdom in Old Cridae. This region is known for rather bustling settlements and fields for farming and ranching. It is the most central of the lands.
The Kingdom of Vakya: To the north lies the Kingdom of Vakya. This region is not nearly as settled, or civilized as other kingdoms like to say, due to very expansive woods and colder conditions. However while this does not bustle with as much of a populace as other kingdoms, it maintains a strong fishing, timber and boat construction industry. This kingdom is under the rule of Regent Garrik Raloxalim, as the proper monarch of Vakya died due to a strange disease, and will rule until the young Queen Ava Rozorwyn comes of age.
The Kingdom of Teotesan: This kingdom lies to the south. It is known for craggy environments with a few areas for grazing. It serves as a gateway point to the University, and they hold themselves up as being scholars of the land. This kingdom is under the reign of Uthar IX, a man who was not expected to be in the line of succession and was thrust into the throne-ship after many strange struggles for dominion.
The Aibolon Kingdom: This kingdom lies to the west, and is known for its rolling plains and valley ranges. This region serves a a very large breadbasket to the kingdoms and has many rich soils for farming. They are ruled over by Queen Sarracenia, who is in a rather aged state and is struggling to decide among her twins of which one should rule over the lands when she is gone.

Oooooo...I had not considered Druid. I had actually started leaning away from a more magick-y person. Wasn't my intention, but was how my character started to evolve lol, but may need to ruminate further... Will get a CS up tonight. It is mostly finished, but now I have more to think about lol.
