So it happened over time then.


Actually, the people in my kingdom probably don't want to touch the forests anytime soon, and if they're the main suppliers of produce, and the forests are encroaching on the farmland, then we have a pretty good reason for my kingdom to find a way of dealing with their forest monster problem.


Everyone, we need characters who would potentially be interested in splitting the truce! They need not have bad intentions- we might end up creating new characters for that purpose. You know, attempted assassination, slowly picking off people.

My character wouldn't be a good candidate for someone trying to break the alliance, but he could be an enabler. Maybe Aria, citing that maybe war would wipe out the supernatural creatures in her kingdom, or Clayur wanting the throne for himself instead of his many brothers, or even Ambrose who wants to take over Esyna Dorei totally. Or maybe someone wants to hurt Nepton because a prince/princess was on one of the ships the mermaids sunk.

I kind of want someone to attempt an assassination on my character, but I don't want her to actually die. She's the only heir to the throne of her country, which has a lot of territory, so if she were to die it would leave her country ripe for invasion. But seriously, I don't want her to die.

Don't worry, there will be no killing of any character without the owner's permission.


And Aria has very specific reasons why she came alone rather than with anyone else. Mostly because Varulvia is in the process of persecuting a lot of vampires and werewolves, and Aria is coming alone because she wants to integrate them, or send them off to Cainian or Anfell or wherever.


Anfell, however... My thinking is that Anfell is kind of like any other of those magical kingdoms in the rp, but it's kind of filthy and horrible and nobody really wants to go there. Jack is trying to fix that, but taking out some of the nicer places where one can purchase magical goods would be very beneficial for him.

That is actually fantastic. She would be the kind of person the splitters would want to kill, so protecting her is a priority to protect the truce. Unless you want her on the side that's splitting?

No, I want her on the side that's not splitting. Marinea basically plans on having an empire on at least the scale of something like the British Empire - I'm thinking they have at least a few distant colonies that's don't really affect the other countries in the truce, if that's okay, - but it's not in the country's interests, at least at the moment, for them to break the truce.

I'd like to submit Jummkaltanbakur as a victim of assasination...


His next-in-line could be a total hothead, ready for war. How would i go about submitting a CS for this theoretical survivor?

Just submit it as usual, but only include the kingdom name, rather than all the kingdom's information.


Also, I was thinking that those who have characters splitting could have a conversation, separate from the thread. That way, if they wanted to pull something that would genuinely surprise those who don't have a character in on it, they could do it.

Can we add extra characters because you said each kingdom sent 1-5 people? Or would those extra characters only be cannon fodder?

This is sick guys xD making characters just to kill off. It's like bringing life into the world then stomping it out. Like a lamb to the slaughter.

All this talk of killing characters brings me back to when I used to do Hunger Games roleplays. Those were the days.

Odessa from Nepton (my mermaid) would definitely be one of the people wanting to end the truce. Mermaids are not fans of the land folk and are not very secretive about that.


I see Ambrose of Cainian being neutral on the whole ordeal, watching the chaos with amusement like most immortals would. I guess he would be a wild card, going wherever he can find the best deal for his country (truce or not)

I did a whole bunch of those back when I was terrible at roleplaying.


Yeah, it's totally realistic to have a small waifish twelve year old capable of wielding a battle axe.

Aria would definitely be trying to get Ambrose on the non-splitting side. Just because of all the fantastic racism happening in her kingdom.

@Invisible monster Yeah, my Hunger Games RP days probably weren't my best, either. But hey, at least they were better than my very first RPs. Warrior cats and wolf packs. So terrible. *shudders*

Arrrgh, I'm so sorry I haven't been posting, I have gotten kind of bogged down with real life over the past few days. I'll try and get back in the habit of posting, but I might not be up to a regular speed for a week or so.

I'm really sorry I let it die. I actaully was really stupid in starting it, I picked a really bad time, so just as it was starting I got swamped with real life issues. My fault.


However, I am about to have a period of time in which I will be freer with time. If you people aren't too angrya at me for dropping, I'd probably be able to pick it up again.
