Part I: The Willow Tree

weepingwillow_zpsafc87d38.jpg

Frozen, though not cold. Stopped, yet still moving. Time appears to cease existence while sitting under the Willow Tree in Hahnu's cemetery. May it be the lax nature of the green leaves, floating still above, or the serene surroundings of damp gravestones, time seems to slow as one nears. Centered right in the middle of the graveyard, it looks so youthful, as if untouched by society for centuries. One might say it almost looks... Magical.

The cemetery has been under guard by the Hahnu family for centuries, the founders of Hahnu village. This small clearing in the middle of the woods that they call to be home is occupied by roughly 1,200 people, most of which are elderly folk that spend their days telling stories of far-off lands and great battles against monsters and evil itself. Being a small town, and far away from any other town or city, Hahnu has it's own school system. Their Elementary and Middle schools had been combined into one Hahnu Grammar School, though Hahnu High School remains it's own building. Attending Hahnu High School is you and your small group of disjunctive friends. Though each of you different in upbringing and personality, you all share one thing in common: a sense of curiousity. With knowledge of the lore about the Willow Tree, and stories of battles and adventure from the elders, you and your group of friends set out to discover the truths behind the tales and the Tree.

Welcome! Welcome to the Time-Travelers Guild roleplay! The roleplay is now open for business! No more Character Applications are being taken as of now. Once you have read through the roleplay rules either mentioned before or in the Overview thread, you may begin the roleplay! Best of luck!

The scene begins with the friends hanging out together one Friday evening. The town is quiet, and cool, the sun setting an orange-purple combo over the trees that surround Hahnu. After a long, stressful day at Hahnu High School, the friends all sit together around a bonfire in the center of the local park, telling jokes and stories. Though each individual knows about their own abilities, to a small extent, they have no awareness of their companions' strange powers. Part I: The Willow Tree will end when one character touches the Willow Tree, and they are transported into this mysterious place where the Time-Travelers Guild resides. If anything arises in the roleplay that needs explanation, I will explain in the OOC thread, or will have my character explain to the best of her abilities. Throughout the beginnings of this part of the roleplay (as explained briefly in the Overview: Rules thread, I will contact a few individuals asking as to whether or not they would like to roleplay as a character already in the Time-Travelers Guild. These characters/people will be given insight and knowledge on the plot for the roleplay that our friend group will not they. They will be the characters that guide and aid us on our journey through time. They will be minor characters, only appearing for short periods of time. More about this will be explained towards the end of Part I.

For now, best of luck in the roleplay! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to PM me or make a post in the OOC thread. The rules will be reposted down below. Please read through them thoroughly, as a few more things are explained within them. Once you have done this, you may roleplay below!

Rules

1. All RpNation rules apply

2. You must wait for your character to be accepted (liked post) AND for your character to be posted to the Accepted Characters list in the Character Sign-Up thread before being able to post in the roleplay.

3. This tightly-knit friend group will be spending a lot of time together in strange places, and romances are bound to occur. In the event of one, please discuss with the other roleplayer either in the OOC thread or through PMing. Do not start something without consent!

4. Stay true to your character and their special ability. Each special ability has a weakness and must be adhered to within the roleplay (in essence, no OP).

5. Each post in the In-Character RPing thread must be at minimum 3 paragraphs long, and each paragraph must be at least 4-5 sentences in length. This means be as detailed as possible in your responses! If posts tend to be too short too often, you will be notified.

6. You are NOT allowed to kill off anyone else's character in the roleplay without their permission. Though this should never occur, simply because everyone is in the same friend group in the roleplay, this rule is still in effect.

7. If you will be unavailable for a long period of time, please make an announcement in the Out of Character Chat thread to let us know and we will work around that character's absence. Once you return, it is your job to read the posts you have missed in the roleplay before adding yourself back in.

8. I recognize that we all have lives outside of this roleplaying world and do not expect immediate responses from everyone here in the roleplay. However, please do your best to keep your responses within a 24 hr. time span. If unable, follow rule 7 above. If there are other extenuating circumstances, please PM me and let me know so we can work something out. I promise I won't bite!

9. In the roleplay, there will be a Guild that our characters stumble upon run by very prestigious Time-Travelers. Within the time of roleplaying Part I: The Willow Tree, I will PM one or two of you asking to create a second (minor) character that will appear later on in the roleplay as one of these Time-Travelers. These characters appear sparingly through the roleplay, but play an important role in aiding the characters in their Time-Traveling battles and journeys. You do not have to accept if you are asked. More information about this will be included in the PM sent.

10. Enjoy the roleplay! Though I realize these are a lot of rules (and I thank you for putting up with them), don't forget to have fun in the roleplay developing the plot and interacting with other characters!

Ella brushed a few pieces of grass from her pink lace dress. Though she loved the local park in their village and visited quite often, she still wished they would install actual benches and seating around the fire pit. The crackle of the bonfire before her lit up the sky, matching well with the sunset in the distance. She basked in it's warmth with a glowing smile on her face, her pale skin radiating with the heat. Reaching up with her hand, the little girl twirled her blonde hair between her fingers, enjoying the heat from the fire and the presence of her companions. Over the past few years, their little group of mates had grown considerably, she never would have guessed that she would be sharing a fire with so many wonderful people. For the longest time it had just been her and her older brother, Henry. And, a little while later, her older sister Mickey. Ever since High School had started, she was all of a sudden finding herself tagging along in this group of friends. May it be fate, or destiny, she wouldn't change it for the world.

The girl's eyes danced around the people sitting near her, nodding to herself. Yes, these were the people she wanted to cherish for life. Beginning to tune back in to their conversation, Elena gasped, rocking back in the cold grass under her. "G-ghost stories? Why would you ever want to tell those!" she exclaimed, shivering. "Why do we always have to t-tell ghost stories? Why can't we tell s-stories about bunnies, or leprechauns?" Though she loved spending every Friday evening around a fire with her friends, somehow their conversation always ended up at ghost stories at some point, Elena's least favorite part of the evening. However exciting it may be to hear about the legends of their own town, the legends that the Elders spoke of, it always scared her quite a bit. Ella was never one for the supernatural unless it involved something cute and exciting, like fairies or talking animals. Even then, it always had a lasting impact on her memories.

Thinking of ways to change the subject, a lightbulb appeared over Ella's blonde head. "Why don't we talk about the legends of love? The ones that the Elders used to tell use about." She had always loved hearing the Elders of the village tell their fables about romance and glory and such, though never a popular topic amoungst the teens of her generation. Though her childlike attitude and appearance correlated with her distaste for the haunted, just like most teenage girls she loved hearing about the battles for love across even time itself, or so the Elders would say. They were her favorite stories to hear about, so twice a week Ella would make an effort to visit the Elders in Hahnu's Home for the Elderly in order to hear their stories and wisdom. Though most would conclude that being with the elderly should influence her behavior and make her act more mature than others, she still remained with her cutesy image and personality. It was a mystery how one girl was able to have so much energy being put into her outfits and dance, and yet still be able to be joyous and adorable. Glancing to her brother, she smiled brightly, pearly teeth and all.

Leo was sitting on the floor in the high school with a smile. He had always been a sweet and loving person. People always had someone around him since his aunt told everyone what happened to him, but everyone simply wondered why he was so happy. Everyone simply thought he had lost his mind, but quite simply, Leo loved life and wanted to enjoy it. He looked at the people as they walked by to their classes. It was simply another mundane day in their sad lives. It seemed like Leo, the one who had the worst past of anyone there, was the happiest. They wondered how he did it, and the answer was rather elementary. He held absolutely no hate or stigma towards anyone. His world was nothing but wonders and sunshine.

He turns his head and lays his chin on his best friend Autumn's leg. He gave a childlike giggle as he looked up at her with his one good eye "Pet me?" He had always enjoyed these moments with her. though she was one of his many friends, he spent most of his time with her. He was the pet of the group and he loved it, as long as he was not left alone

Autumn was sitting on the cold grass looking around her at her friends. She loved them all dearly and she had experienced some of her best memories with all of them. Ever since she started high school she found herself tagging along with all of them. They did some crazy stuff but it was always fun. These Friday night bonfires some how happened every Friday. Everyone was talking about random stuff, about school, about life. She smiles to herself.

One of her best friends, Leo had his head on her lap and she was petting him and running her fingers through his hair. It always seemed to calm him when someone did this. She never really knew what happened in his past, she was late the day to school that his Aunt apparently come to the school and told everybody. She just saw what people did to make him feel comfortable and she picked upon what to do. She has been over to his house a lot since they were best friends. She has talked to his Aunt but she could never really tell her since he was always in the room and he would go into panic mode. As far as she knew his mom was deceased and his dad is in prison. She continues running her fingers through his hair and he looked content.

She laughed slightly at Ella's comment knowing that there was no way of getting out of ghost stories. "Good luck getting the group to not tell ghost stories" she say. The wind was blowing and it was slightly cold but the fire made it feel warm outside. She was wondering how one person could have so much energy. She was thinking of sneaking back to the school after they were done here. She knew she would have to wait but she did have keys to the school since she was friends with most of the staff there. They caught her setting off an alarm a couple times so they just gave her a key to the studio. The dance teacher always did help her when she was having trouble with a certain routine. She always tried to get her to join the dance club but she always refused. She looked at the group of friends around her wondering how she got so lucky.

Avalon lay back in the grass, her piercing light brown eyes observing the tiny white stars in the night sky above. She heard the crackle of the bonfire and the voices of her friends as they made a tight circle around the fire. A slight breeze brushed her face as Elena suggested talking about love stories rather than ghost stories. She chuckled with amusement and sat up in the grass to face everyone. To her right, she saw Leo's head rested in Autumn's lap and her hand softly petting his head, smiling when she noticed their affectionate relationship. She had always viewed Autumn as one of her better friends, as their shared dislike for rules allowed them to get along quite well.

To her left sat Ptarmigan and Henry, two of her closest friends, and she gave them a mischievous smile when they began discussing ghost stories. She had known Henry ever since they were toddlers, but he had moved away when they were young, only to be reunited a few years ago when he came back to this village. She felt like he had never even moved away, as their close friendship seemed to have picked up right where it had left off. In addition, Avalon always had fun competing in a fun rivalry with Ptarmigan, often clashing with each other as a result of their bold, straightforward personalities. Underneath the surface of their friendship, however, he is one of the first people she goes to for deep conversations and personal topics, as she finds it very easy to talk to and relate to him.

"Oh come on Ella, ghost stories are more fun," she protested, looking over at the cute, slim girl. "I heard that there's at least one murder that occurs in these very woods each year and that the cops always fail to find the killer," she said mysteriously, looking around the fire to meet everyone's eyes. "I heard that the ghosts and spirits of these victims have unfinished business in this village that they need to complete, so they stay trapped in this forest, wandering around aimlessly," she added softly, her light brown eyes wide with conviction. "Who's up for a ghost hunt? I say we start getting to know these woods a little bit better," she suggested hopefully, as her spontaneity and adventurous nature began to surface.

Mickey walks up to the group silently, she had a cigarette in her mouth. She looks around the group seeing Ellena, Autumn, Leo, and the rest of the group. She looks up at the sky and then walks forward to the group. She walks over to Autumn tapping her back letting her know that she was here. She looks at the others. The ones who haven't turn their back on her yet. She wonders silently if they are ever gonna give up on her.

Mickey laughs silently and says "Well, at least we know ghosts aren't real or....are they" She then finds an open seat by Autumn and sits there. She leans back onto a tree that was there while she thinks about her relationship with the group. Her closet and only one is with Autumn really. Autumn is like a little sister she never knew she had. She would do anything for that girl, and she was extremely overprotective of Autumn as well. hen she met Autumn, she needed someone and I mean anyone to be there for her at least once and that anyone was Autumn. Mickey is glad that it was too. Autumn was one of the best things that could ever happen to her

She looks down at the group and wonders that maybe she could try to be better at things but shakes her head. She can never be like she was before. She can never be innocent now, it's too late for that. "Oh and I might have sprayed painted the principal car" She smirks slightly "So if anyone ask you guys, where I've been. I've been with you guys all day and nothing else." Mickey smirks fully. The principal was always treating her like a kid that was worthless. Even though she believes that, doesn't mean that someone else can. She has an reputation to keep, as the trouble-maker of the school. That was her place. She is always going to be trouble that all she is ever going to be. She lights her cigarette smoking.

Leo looked at all his friend and smiled contently as his head was pet. He loved spending time with them and having them around. He never really knew why they all understood his childlike nature, but he was glad they did. He looked at them "No! I want to lay here and be pet." He chuckles and turns on his bed to look up at the sky. He then stared at Mickey with a slight angry look in his eye "Mickey! I told you not to do that. It kills Mickey's lungs! I want you around always. So stop!" He then smiles and sighs in content. His emotions had always been rather erratic, but he always knew what he was doing "Autumn, can I take a nap?" He was a little exhausted as he really was excited, but he could not be alone. He just......couldn't

Allen had, naturally, brought along a stack of worksheets, an algebra book to work on, and a pencil.

He sighs.

"G-Guys, ghosts aren't real. I've read multiple articles on this in the past and the majority of ~~ghost~~ sightings can easily be pinned to mental illness, swamp gas, carbon monoxide, mold, and many other natural reasons..."

He scribbles a few answers down on his sheet. Though the words he spoke attempted to brush aside the existence of such beings, almost everyone knew that he was actually quite frightened by scary stories, and thus just didn't want to hear any tonight. He was already terrified of the real world as it is- He didn't want to be under the illusion that there were such things as ghosts, waiting to take the lives of others out of sheer spite...

He adjusted his glasses, the action being followed by a sneeze. Though the warmth of the fire was nice, the floating embers and smoke were making his respiratory system act up. Not to mentioned the smoke from Mickey's cigarette.

"And, Mickey, I agree with Leo... you really shouldn't smoke." He looks up at Mickey, cringing a little. He hated seeing his friend participate in such an awful activity.

"Honestly I'd rather see you getting drunk every weekend then smoking at this age. Seriously, you've gotta stop."

(I hate it when notifications stop coming....)

(Henry`s POV: )

Like magnets attempting to collide, my eyes were urging to be closed as I stared at the orange-purple sky. All I could think about was the book I just read Ken Folliet`s A Dangerous Fortune. The book sure lived up to it`s fame, especially in the finale, so well-built and constructed. From the simple explanations the book gave to help immerse the reader, I could almost picture myself there, as a banker, in those fine clothing and wearing of those top hats they had, counting coins behind a desk. In this little vision of mine, I was smiling brightly as I got a brand new promotion and everyone was coming to cheer me...

My sister`s comment snapped me out of my thoughts and my eyes were quickly fully open again. I smiled, just a tad nervous, trying that my daydreaming would continue unnoticed. I saw Leo lying on Autumm`s lap, both her and Avalon refusing Elena`s request. I couldn`t help but worry, though: She was shivering with fear. What`s the point of a friend`s hangout to screw with people? Why would you want to upset someone like that? I had to something for my sister, but I couldn`t spoil today`s fun either. I smiled brightly and cheerfully and leaned on the grass, unfolding my legs.

"Guys, I kinda agree with little bunny. When was the last time you heard a PROPER ghost story? They`re way too overused. In fact, isn`t it kinda cliché to tell ghost stories around a campfire? I`d like to see one of YOU pulling off telling a romantic comedy around a campfire." I suggested, looking at each of them, but staring at Avalon in particular as I said the last sentence.

A nearby rustle caught my attention and made me turn. Mickey. I facepalmed. Why was she smoking?

"Mickey! Hey, girl..." I stood and walked over to her. There was a time when I`d have raised a hand to pat her on the back or something, but she never seemed receptive...in fact, maybe it could even be a bother to her. I didn`t want it to be that way, so I just stood next to her and flashed a smile. I turned to the ground just for a second, and then quickly back to her, pulling the cigarette off her mouth . I did make one serious mistake, though."Ouch!"

I threw the cigarette away, as it was already put off anyway. I looked at my fingers, with little burns on them from me having grabbed the end of the cigarette outside her mouth. I quickly put my smile back on and looked at Mickey, using my other hand to swing a finger in front of her in the classical "no" gesture.

"Mickey, I get it`s hard for you to stop, but you really gotta try cutting down on those. At least, avoid smoking when around other people, ok? Now, where EXACTLY were you? What did you? Was there anyone else in there? I won`t tell anything to anyone, I promise." I told her. Indeed, I thought that principal kinda deserved some damage to his stuff. He had been nothing but an asshole to Mickey ever since she`d come. Still, it didn`t make what she did any less wrong. Any less dangerous in both being caught and in what kind of companies she could be getting with. Any less sad that she`d go on doing it despite mom`s efforts.

(note: Henry calls Elena "little bunny" as a form of brotherly teasing)

Mickey looks at Leo and Allen and sighs "I just like to smoke. I'm sorry if that makes you uncomfortable but that's the way I like to be" She looks down softly "And Allen I do go out and drink every weekend and I have to tell you, that this is way better then that" She then leans over Autumn

and ruffles Leo hair softly saying "Don't worry Leo, I am not going anywhere. " Leo was like the baby of the group and like the rest of her sorta friends, she felt extremely protective over him. She doesn't know if she is going anywhere since the Towsend Family haven't given her up yet but she doesn't feel secure yet. She been in homes for two years and they still kicked her out. So..she is still waiting for the boot.

When Henry came her, she was in the middle of thinking so she didn't know what he was doing until he screaming ouch. Mickey looks at him glaring at him while taking out a another cigarette "You really think I didn't bring more Mr. Perfect" She snaps and adds "Don't touch my cigarette again Henry. " She warns "Or I'll have to do something I'll regret." She lights an another cigarette and smokes it silently "I need them and I won't cut them down Henry, you aren't my parent Henry. " She rolls her eyes at him looking away from him though she won't admit it. She likes him acting like this, it makes it seem like he cares truly about her.

Mickey rolls her eyes at Henry's questions " Henry you are beginning to sound like your mother. " She keeps smoking and adds "I was at the school. Principal is still there working after hours so I got a few people I hang out with to come with me and we just spray painted the car and left. Though I did drink a little beer while I was out there. " She looks around the group getting looks from Allen, Leo and Henry. She took out her cigarette "Alright fine! I won't smoke...right now" Mickey shakes her head looking everyone "It was just a joke Henry. He needed to be taught a lesson. That's all"

"I'm up for some ghost hunting" she says She sees Mickey. She smiles at her. She hears that she spray painted the principals car and she starts laughing. "Why the freak didn't you call me, I so would have helped you with that" she say nudging her a little bit. She smiles down at Leo. "I guess I'm not going ghost hunting, and Leo go ahead, I won't leave either" she says still running her fingers through his hair. She looks up at everybody agreeing with Henry. Ghost stories are over told.

She looks over at Mickey. She never gave her a hard time about smoking. She never judged her for anything she did so why should she? She was really the only person she told that she had feelings for Leo. She was like the sister she never had. They lived in the same foster home for a little while but then she went to live with the Towsend family but they always stayed in contact. "You should come over tonight after this if your free" she says to Mickey. She didn't know how much more she could take of the foster parents. They never really left her alone except when she had a friend over.

"I'm up to listen to a romantic comedy story, the ghost stories are getting boring" she says. Her eyes were starting to burn a little bit from the smoke but she just ignored it. She notices that Leo had his eyes closed and his breathing was slow and even. He was probably asleep but she still kept petting his head and running her fingers through his hair. She smiles down at him before she looks back up to everyone else.

Leo was falling asleep. He was so happy that they said he would never be alone, but there was something wrong. As he entered his dreams he noticed something. The smell of.....iron. He had never had a dream like this. Or had he? He looked around in the darkness to see what could possibly cause that smell. Soon his eye fell upon the sight. His breathing picked up. His horror running ramped as he saw his worst nightmare. There, right in the middle of the darkness was a white bed with splatters of red. His mothers body laying lifeless. He tried to back away, but the more he tried the closer the bed seemed to get. When the bed was right in front of him he stopped. His fear clear on his face as he stood.

From the darkness there was a laugh the sent chills down his spine. He the watched with a look of pure fear on his face as his mothers pale, withered body rose. Her close were soaked in blood as she looked at him with dead eyes. She reached her hands out. Leo, who was close with his mother calmed a little and hesitantly reached out. When he had nearly touched her a knife ripped through her chest. The massive amounts of fear had returned to his widened eye as he was covered in blood. He then saw the face that haunted him in the darkness. His father stood behind his mother and spoke "Your the reason she died. You killed her!"

Leo screamed as he jumped back to reality. He backed away in fear till he hit the tree. He looked towards his friends, but past them. Like he saw something beyond. His eye was wide with pure, unmatched horror. He then pulled his knees to his chest and clenched his head with his hand. He looked down as he was in pure agony "She died. It was me. He killed her......because of me. Kill me! Not her, me!" He was shaking horribly. It was in his eyes. the absolute agony and fear as he sat there, tormented by his own thoughts.

She gets startled as he woke up again. She watched him hit a tree and go into complete panic mode. Knowing she was the one who could calm him down the fastest she slowly took tentative step towards him. She kneeled down infront of him and talking in a soft voice, "Leo, it's okay, it's your best friend Autumn. Your okay" she talked slowly and in small sentence. She felt like her heart was just withering inside her chest as she looked at him in the eye. She slowly watched as his gaze came towards her.

"Leo, you're okay, your mothers okay. Your father can't hurt you ever again" she says softly. She wasn't sure if the group could here her. Her puts her hand on the side of his face brushing the hair out of his eyes smiling softly. "Your okay, he didn't kill her because of you, he was crazy but your mother is safe now in heaven and you are perfectly safe right here" she says still talking softly.

She saw the shadows start coming out of his eye slightly but she ignored it. "You're okay" she says. She makes her movements slow so he doesn't freak out again. "You are experiencing a memory, that is not happening right now, you're okay" she says as she slowly sits next to him and moving his him so he is laying down and his head is on her lap. She runs her fingers through his hair and petting him as she starts to feel him not shake so much anymore but he still was shaking still.

(Henry`s POV: )

I smirked a little nervously as she called me "mr.Perfect". My smile faded, though.

"You`ve ALREADY done something you`ll regret. A lot of things. You are right, I am not your parent. Our parents are one lost somewhere and the other struggling every day for our sakes. So we can eat. So we can drink. So we have a place to live and clothes to wear...a school to attend. Have friends. Please, don`t turn all that way for a couple cigarettes a day and some...I guess you`d call it "fun"."

I glared at Auttum furiously. She should NOT be promoting Mickey`s behavior like that. What if he got caught? What would the principal do? For all I knew, she could end up expelled. What would be of everyone at home then? Elena would be hurt and try to hide it, mom would struggle even more, Mickey would have even more time to hang out with those bad companies.

I sighed, and put my smile back on. I should smile. Always. Even if something seems dire. Think positive. At least Mickey wasn`t hurt. At least she hadn`t been caught. And it seemed she was giving in on this cigarette at least.

"Thank you Mickey. I won`t tell you to quit smocking, I know it`s not that simple. I don`t know WHO you were with exactly, but do me a favor and try not to get involved in that kind of thing again. In the very least, do something they can`t expel you for, or target someone who can`t actually harm you back, alright? We are all worried about you, so don`t make us worry any..."

I was interrupted when Leo suddenly had his memory rush. I ran there and kneeled next to him and Auttuum.

"You heard her, Leo. Don`t worry, the guy`s gone. You`re not to blame for ANYTHING. Gosh, you need a drink. Anyone got water? Juice? Anything?" I asked the rest of the group.

Mickey shakes her head "No Autumn, you know my rule. You are never to get involved with the people I hang with. So that means no spray painting the dickhead's car unless you are with me only. " She looks down and adds "Maybe tomorrow we can do it again because he'll had clean it then" She looks at Henry and says strongly and darkly "First, my regrets are my own opinion. I don't need you to tell me what I'll regret. Second, Stop glaring at Autumn. Unlike you, she actually knows and understand me. Third, they are your parents not mine. Mine are somewhere probably living their life." She thinks and then adds "I don't need your parents and they don't need me. "

Mickey doesn't mean to act so angry but Henry didn't seem to understand that she didn't want to be apart of their lives. She doesn't belong with them, she belongs to the trash like always. She then turns towards Autumn and sighs her eyes quickly softens "They're being overbearing again aren't they? " SHe shakes her head and smiles at her "Sure, just leave the window open like always. I'll be there." Mickey is going to have a talk to the foster parents again, Autumn might request to be switch from the home and moved somewhere far away and that can't happen. She couldn't deal with the shit in her life without her here.

Mickey then hears Henry last comment and snorts "I'll hang out whoever I want and i don't need you all to worry about me. I'm fine. " When Leo woke up, she was up and next to him trying to calm him down with Autumn and Henry "hey, my cutie baby brother Leo. It wasn't your fault. It wasn t never your fault little one"

Allen looks up fully from his homework.

"Mickey, w-we're not trying to control you or hold you down to anything, i-it's just… W-We want you to be safe."

Allen frowns. He was always some level of concerned for Mickey. Then again, he was always concerned over everything. But, hey, Mickey was included in that list.

He scootches closer to her, then looks back down at his worksheet.

Leo was shaking horribly. His eye widened with fear and memories playing in his head. The shadows seeping from behind his eye patch grew and festered over his body and down to the grass. He was in such horror. This was so horrible. If it didn't stop, Leo would end up hurting himself. Leo pulled hard at the grass, unable to hear his friends words as his ears were filled with the memories of his mothers brutal ending. He then began to mumble "I killed her, I killed her, I killed her, I killed her, I killed her, I killed her.........s-s-she died....because I was...born." His hand reached up and touched his eyes patch, the shadows slowly creeping down his arm "I-I'm so........worthless.

"Leo, Leo look at me." She says sitting him up and holding either side of his face. She put her forehead to his. "Leo, you are fine, you can control the shadows. You're mother is safe, you are safe. What your experiencing is a memory, it's not what's going on right now you are fine, I promise you are safe." She says keeping her forehead against his hoping that he would calm down. "I promise, come back to me." She says very softly she wasn't sure if anyone heard her. "You aren't worthless, you are anything but worthless, everyone here loves you deeply." She says referring to everyone loving him as a friend but she loved him more than that.
