Just constantly consider that he/she is the queen's right hand. That means that they would be quite similar to the queen, at least I'd imagine.

could you let us know where you believe your character will benefit in the story. Don't think I'm pushing you away, it'll just make things easier.

Do you mean his alignment? Like, neutral, queen's, rebel

If not... Considering he's a healer, he could be useful for healing a major character in the plot if they were ever seriously hurt. Character development could also be a thing. Those were my thoughts, unless you have other ideas in store. Sorry if I misunderstood your question
