Fantasy The Supernatural Kingdoms

Iris sighed again, noticing her cousins angry expression. She wished she could get along better with her, after all, she was one of the only companions she had here, but they had completely different goals and ideals about life, and as a result they clashed so constantly. She turned back to Soma and Tempest. "I apologise about that. Is there anything else at all that you need to tell us about, or will that be all? I should give these runes to the King and Queen as soon as possible."

"No other information, at least no information that I'm aloud to share...  Oh one more thing, the runes they can not be broken by anyone other than people of that kingdom, a water mage like me would not only have an impossible time breaking a rune from a different kingdom it would drain my energy.  Come on Tempest I don't want to keep Max waiting"  Soma explained throwing Tempest over his shoulder and started to walk towards the gates where they came in

@A Mysterious Figure @NightTerror

"Um, very well. Maera will show you out," Iris said, more than a little annoyed at the guards abruptness and lack of courteousness. He literally just picked Tempest up and left with her! She shook her head, and gestured for Maera, who was standing outside the door, to show the guests to the gate, not wishing to spend anymore time with Soma, as, while he had helped her kingdom out, he seemed unnecessarily impolite. After they left the room, she headed towards her own quarters, not wishing to talk to anyone else for the time being. She would go speak to her cousin later, once her now slightly more negative mood dissipated.

"Soma! Put me down." Tempest demanded trying not to giggle. "And can't we stay a little longer? I wanna look around." She insisted. She was taking in every part of the castle as Soma continued walking, ignoring her. She wiggled for a little bit trying to escape his grasp, but gave up eventually and simply crossed her arms pouting childishly. "Your about as much fun as Maxi."

@Masyet

"Fine take a look around, but don't leave my sight, your brother said that if anything happens he'll have my head" Soma said putting her down gently, taking a glass of water from one of the passing servants.

Having slipped the dress on begrudgingly the small girl could soon after be seen sweeping from her room leaving in her wake the servant woman who held a comb in one hand, a bow in the other and a frustrated expression as she placed the items down on the vanity with a sigh shaking her head as Seraph's bright scarf disappeared around the corner. "That child will be the end of me." She muttered a small smile finding place on her face before she closed Seraphina's door with a click, heading back to  the servants quarters.

Hat pressed firmly into place Sera danced silently down the halls a smile touching her lips as the floor sweeping gown fluttered like a breeze around her as she made her way to the forked staircase that once merged lead down the the grand ballroom, a room in which was light constantly be it by the moon and stars, or the sun by the seemingly endless windows that lined the room from the cloud like ceiling to the flawless marble oceanic like color reflecting the color of the ocean hidden beneath. Having spent most of her time here Seraph found this more like home than any other room, the windows showing the vast expanse of cloud and light each foot of the space held a memory, a time of now, and a distant future.

Sliding down the banister she landed gracefully in a twirl, "And all the parts combine to one, and all of us around the sun-- Everything will fall away we wonder-- from the dis-array." She crossed the room gliding over the floor before spinning around, "See the sun, the shadows its cast. I see the sky and all the land together again. Who do we think we are? Everything plays a part.There are some things we don't understand.. reasons on the other hand. There are somethings we are never meant to know." With each word Seraph's steps became more gentle, her face once again light and relaxed as a childs' as she took a seat on a bench she made from cloud overlooking the cloud beyond her reach.

"Yay!" Tempest cheered walking around the opposite direction back down the hallway. "Walking's kind of weird, huh?" She commented, almost tripping over nothing. When she realized she had walked outside ,she looked confused for a moment. However, she shrugged it off and a moment later and continued to explore the area surrounding the castle.

Distracted by movement that when located was on the grounds outside-- Dangerous at times as when the cloud or mist felt playful it could cover holes that could plunge one to the depth of the waters below. Though with a second glance one could see that the sky held no mischief today, only endless blue with fluff in the distance. Pulling herself to stand with a grin Seraphina pushed one of the further windows slipping out of the secret door without a sound before heading over to the girl who seemed to be one of the people from the room that her cousin had been in.

Without so much as a a second glance Seraph headed over silently a smile printed firmly on her face as she practically glided over the ground. She held no hesitation as she was in her own territory, her home and if she were to be attacked.. there would likely be things of a worse fate for those who do the attacking. "Hello there." She stated her voice like a autumn breeze crisp yet playful and fleeting.

"Hey Tempest!  Wait up!" he basically yelled, purring the water on the ground freezing it as it touched the ground and started to manipulate so he didn't have to walk anymore.  When he finally caught up with Tempest, the little girl from before was there "Hello, I'm Sora and this is Tempest, what's your name?" he asked politely

@Scheani @NightTerror

Tearing her gaze from the girl whom she had approached to the boy-- Sora who had approached them, pausing briefly Seraph nodded in a slightly bent posture out of respect. "I'm Seraphina Inua, second to the crown of the Kingdom." Smile flawlessly fixed to her relaxed expression. "Are you all from the Water Kingdom?" She asked seeming a bit more excited as she asked-- it becoming quite obvious she doesn't get out much her hands gripping her scarf with excess energy that she had no way of expelling otherwise-- Hell. She was even bouncing on her toes.

"The two of us are" Sora said politely as he started to stare of into the distance.  "It's beautiful out here" he stated noticing the girl started to grip her scarf "You don't come out here that often do you?"  he asked as he started to make some water he 'borrowed' dance through the air.

(Sorry I thought I posted this like a month ago but I didn't)

"Not as much as I'd prefer." Serpah's grin faded a little only to come back full force once she witnessed the water dancing midair, "How long have you been able to do that?" Her question crude and unrefined for the scenery lacked the prim and proper expectations of the Air kingdom. "I can only do a few things myself." Sera added holding up her hand only for it to seem to dissipate in the crisp calm air.

Fang let out a slight sigh. Hovering about halfway between the water and the air in his full suit of armor while looking around. Still seeing no sign of any kingdom he may truly visit. Seeing as he was seen as strange in the human realm, while he had nowhere near the lung capacity to visit the water kingdom without needing assistance. That's when he noticed an odd shape in the sky. A single patch of clouds just hanging above the castle he could tell was belonging to the water kingdom. And with that started to fly towards the clouds. Having heard of what may lay beyond them.

Rend couldn't help but smile at his current predicament, chains and all. He had originally come to the capital in search of work, and indeed had found it along with some other sellswords in the form of guarding a caravan. Job went without a hitch, save for the rivalry that had grown between Rend and one of his companions, a giant of a man named Edgar. This rivalry blew its top  at a local pub, and even though both of them were arrested for disturbing the King's Peace, Rend couldn't help but feel the brawl he'd started somehow livened this quite, peaceful city. Edgar of course felt quite the opposite and stabbed his eyes towards Rend whenever he could, through the bodies of the other brawl participants. To this, Rend paid only a minimal heed, Edgar seemed like a man who was angry at the world for no reason at all, and this like all other reasons would soon fade from his memory. It was as the city Guards shuffled their prisoners through the castle courtyards to the dungeons that Rend first noticed a man in training armor, armed with a grand looking rapier sparing with what he could only assume was the Captain of the Guard. "Noble perhaps..." Rend mutters, observing the mans form and nodding at his apparent practiced discipline, pausing and unintentionally causing the men chained in front of him to pull him from his feet as they begin to be hurried into a line for processing. Rend grins again as he tries to hold back outright laughter, his apparent mishap causing the entire row of men in chains to be thrown into disarray. "Methinks this will be quite the eventful day after all..." he says to the fellow next to him, which earns him another glare from Edgar. Rend doesn't notice however, as he stares across the courtyard, watching the two men spar, hand itching for his confiscated blade. @Caldwell

"Are you a princess here too?!" Tempest asked with a huge smile spread across her face. "This place is so beautiful!" She gushed loving the feel of the clouds she was walking on. She stole the water from Soma and shaped into her goldfish again, giggling distractedly as he swam around her head.

He eventually started to slowly land on the clouds after making his way up to the top of them. Looking around somewhat before noticing a group of people in the distance. Who he started to approach...Though upon entering earshot for them he stopped calling out. "Hey...Fine day isn't it?" ...As he then stepped on a thin piece of cloud...Falling through its surface due to his weight with the armor. As he then quickly flew back through the same spot he fell landing a few feet away from it.

Seraph grinned a moment nodding as she watched the water morph and move at the girls will, "Yes, I'm Seraphina cousin to the crown princess." With a mock bow she winked with a giggle, "But you can call me Seraph or Sera." Turning to see the one making such a ruckus, Seraph found it to be a flying man. One unaccustomed to her kingdom by the way he gracelessly stepped into an area that would hardly hold her weight let alone his, "Lovely as always it seems." Looking him over curiously she managed to ask, "Who are you? You don't seem to be from around here, so..?" Her words faded as the cloud took form of a tall stool, which Sera gracefully took a seat once again her flashy hat and scarf in high contrast with her pristine royal dress.

"I am known by many as fang." He would say as he started to check the ground in front of him. before getting about 10 feet away from the group. "As for where I was from. That's a subject I prefer not to go into detail with." He then smiles slightly. Before startling slightly his foot nearly sinking through the clouds once more.

Tempest took the water that both her and Soma were manipulating and reshaped into a small platform, sliding it underneath Fangs feet, solidifying it, and letting it hover beneath his feet so he wouldn't sink anymore. "I'm Tempest!" She exclaimed introducing herself with a bright smile. "Nice to meet you Fang!"

He simply smiled slightly upon noticing the solid platform under him. As he then nodded. "Nice to meet you Tempest." He then started to kneel down resting on his knees.

"Are you wearing armor? That's really cool! Is it heavy?" Tempest shot question after question at him, beginning to bounce slightly in excitement once again.

@Kallo

He simply raises an eyebrow upon hearing question after question. Before shrugging to himself and removing the helmet. "Feel for yourself." He would hold the helmet out for her to hold. Which would weigh around 15 pounds due to the thickness of the steel.

Tempest reached out and took the helmet from him and grunted, almost dropping it, "Woah, it is heavy! How do you wear this all the time? It must be tiring." She said handing it back, to him carefully. "Why do you wear armor anyways?" She asked, having calmed significantly.

@Kallo

He simply hooked the helmet onto his belt as he continued to kneel where he was. "I wear armor due to the fact that frankly. I don't tend to stay in areas for terribly long amounts of time. And I can wear this all the time due to my bloodline. Which also would explain these." He says with a smile. As he unfolds his wings once again.
