He simply raises an eyebrow before shaking his head. "Its not that much different from not having wings as far as I know."

The Earth Kingdom, ancient as the dirt and dust, still resides in the vast and deep canyon where it started millions of years ago.
Pueblo houses line the sides of the canyon, water works of all kinds keep the arid ground springing with life and energy, and all sorts of constructed deviations provide shade in the desert heat.

In the center of the canyon is a massive hole that leads deep into the earth, and into the castle of the Earth Queen, Millennia.
There are no regal and royal banners, nor ornate living spaces... it is a humble testament to the hardworking life the people of the earth kingdom live.
The queen emerges from the dimly lit hallways and into the blinding sun of the canyon. It is time for her to check up on her people, as she has done every day for the many thousand years of her benevolent rule.

There is no fanfare to signal the arrival of royalty, but nonetheless, people are already gathering near her with inquiries. She answers them one by one and sends the folk on their way with clear instructions.

"Speak to me, my friend." She says to an elder farmer, a knowledgeable soul she has known since birth. "Is there anything that troubles you and your crops today?"

The farmer tilts his hat upward and does his best to make eye contact with the giant queen. "You see, your highness... It appears that our water supply is starting to run low, and if there is no water within due time, then surely our crops will not be prepared in time for harvest."

Millennia nodded. "I see. A bit sooner than I had expected, yet right on schedule. Soon, our two-hundred year diplomatic treaty with the water kingdom will come to a close, and I have been meaning to head over there to ask about a dam on a passing river anyways. I'd say that the circumstances are in our benefit. Fear not, I will bring more water to you in due time."

Millennia returned to her palace, carefully and meticulously gathering supplies she would need for the journey to the water kingdom. Selecting an escort and a temporary leader, she waved goodbye to her people as she began the trek to the Kingdom beneath the sea.
