Well first of all, how does one quantify the value of a familial contract? And if that tax has already been paid by one of the family members, does a new tax suddenly apply when it goes to the next member? It's a real back and forth between the political parties of this made up universe.

Not sure they would pay any part. They aren't beholden to laws so I don't see why taxes would be different for em

So imagine this dimension like an infinitely massive tower, very vertical, similar to Christianity's Hell but with more layers. There are 6 lords/ladies at the top of the food chain who have divided this tower up between them. They then each delegated 1/6 of it to 6 of their heirs, who did the same with what they were given but with 6 of their most trusted attendants (generals, advisors, etc.). Note, none of these, attendants on upwards, have ever been summoned. They don't give a gosh darn about the mortal realm, they have plenty already. However, there are other demonic, self stylized nobles always trying to advance higher up the food chain, always with the goal of becoming a Lord/Lady but typically falling far shorter.
