Fantasy The Spirit Inside ~ Forest and Village

Lena's eyebrows raised quite a bit, as he mentioned the omelette.
"Wh.." She mumbled, but nodded as his second statement, turning to the rest of the group. She slowly approached the chair she was sitting on, and sat down on it yet again. After a while, she laid her arms on the table, and buried her head in them, trying to yet again contact the wandering spirit

"Hello? Spirit? Flint?" Her voice sounded a bit more cheerfull than usual, but it was a bit worried.

@RP Marshall
"Lena! That Constantine @KingsPlague was amazing! Flint's mind is in shambles. He's on the verge of a psychological panic but do not fret elf child. I will keep Flint away from slipping too far into the void. The bird will undergo horrific mental anguish, however I will do everything in my power to keep him safe until you and your party reach the Egg. Don't forget about the body; we need Belisair's @Delacare help to retrieve it! Have to go! Flint's life is passing before his eyes and they're not the happy moments!"

Lena's body was relatively calm, as she opened her eyes, pretty quickly done talking with the spirit. She looked over everyone, with a wide smile

"All we have to do is to reach that temple, and get the egg. Also bring Flint's body back. Belisair." Lena looked at him.

"I need you to contact your friend, Zephyr, and gently ask him to give us body of Flint, okay?" She asked.

"Then we'll be moving out"

Belisair had been staring so intently at "Flint" that he missed the real thing through the portal. He had been increasingly lost since Constantine disappeared.

When Lena spoke to him, he only tuned in enough to hear the need for Zephyr and to reach the Temple.

He merely nodded and then frown.

"I don't know where Zephyr is. Usually he's always with me. I don't even remember him leaving..." His brows knitted together and his frown deepened; he was forgetting something important, again.

"Why would Zephyr leave without saying goodbye?"

He stood and turned to head into his room. His head was pounding suddenly and it worsened whenever he tried to remember why Zephyr had left.

"Zephyr left because Flint is-" He gasped sharply as his mind snapped and he feinted on the spot. As he fell, a remnant of Zephyr was released and it addressed the gathered party.

"It seems that you children don't know when to leave well enough alone. My last defense just activated, but you should all prepare for when he wakes up. Especially you, Kyngerz Heart Breaker." The message faded with a clear aura of annyoance and disdain.

((Im at work right now. Give me 5hrs and I'll have a few good posts in. Oh and i suggest you batten down the hatches; a soulless Sylph isnt a good one *hint and wink*))

Seeing Belisair's little... spectacle, Schmendrick winces when Belisair's body hits the floor. "Hmm... That's probably not good." The bard turns to the group and addresses them. "I suggest we leave immediately, if the legends speak any truth I would say that shit is about to hit the fan." A small smile creeps onto his face. Schmendrick stands up abruptly, knocking his chair over. The magician then slams his foot down onto the table with a large grin on his face. "We should probably leave! I have the solution. I've been observing Constantine's portals and I think I have it figured out!" Schmendrick begins to play on his lute, a strange cord progression wavers in the air. Towards the front of the bar, a single blue flame appears. It then becomes thin, like a line crackling in the air, and then expands creating a circle. As this happens Schmendrick's playing intensifies, it begins to sound as if the magician is playing multiple lutes at the same time. The circle wavers and wobbles and then fills in with a black void. "AHA!" Schmendrick laughs. "I've done it!" Freud looks to him worried.

Suddenly! From with in the portal comes several large tentacles that slam into the ground. The dig into the bar floor trying to grasp at something, anything and quiet possibly everything. Schmendrick almost immediately stops playing and the portal disappears, a frown now present on his face. "Oh... well that wasn't supposed to happen..." Schmendrick turns back to the group and smiles again. He snaps his fingers and tendrils of shadow wrap around Belisair's unconscious body. "Anyone else got any bright ideas?"

Zephyr

He had called out to the fastest winds, and rode them nearly to the four corners of this world before finding what he sought. A resting place for the blizzard that was the physical manifestation of Belisair's rage and sorrow. His search had not been easy considering that the blizzard could easily grow if not left in the proper conditions.

After searching intensely for place for the storm, Zephyr came across a populated island in the middle of the ocean with an active volcano. The volcano was ready to blow, and its eruption would devastate almost every living on the island. Deciding to mettle in the soon to be critical situation, he used the high walls of the volcano to entrap Belisair's rage and sorrow. The storm would act as a sort of cork for the volcano for the next century or so.

"Hopefully, that will hold for a few ages to come. It seems that in my haste, I lost track of that presence and released it." Zephyr was extremely frustrated at that fact;he had been a bit careless.

"Its no matter, now. I must hurry back to my child's side."

And race he did. As he flew with haste, he sensed the break of the seal he had placed upon the Sylph to help regulate his emotions in Zephyr's absence.

"Oh boy, this will be interesting."

((Sorry that it's so short. I am literally falling asleep at the keyboard.))

Deep in the heart of the forest to the north of Thoranhall, there was a distinct yawn as something ancient began to wake from its long slumber. It had been centuries since the last time it had awoken and even then not so completely.

There was a very special guest arriving, and Saza-Hallah would want to look its best for the world's last Sylph.

As Saza-Hallah stretched its conciousness and cleared the cobwebs from its mind, several powerful protection illusions were dispelled. What had previously been a simple stone shrine placed like a gateway at the only entrance to a tight circle of trees, became a sprawling circular complex of temple ruins populated with trees and wildlife.

"Oh my, I've been asleep for quite some time, haven't I?"

Running from reality, Flint realized he was entering the old wizard's animal dungeon. On top of a cabinet, the house cat snickered at the frightened bird.

"No, stay away from me!" Flint yelped, "Friends! Save me! The mage is gone now. You can come back!"

The crow's 'friends' appeared in front of him but they were shrouded by fluttering crow feathers. The cat leaped from its perched and fazed through Flints friends.

"Keep the wizard's minion away! It wants to eat me!"

The images stood still, with no sign of helping the frighten bird.

"What are you doing? Save me, damn it!"

Flint called out to Belisair
@Delacare in desperation, "Belisair! Please help me!"

The Sylph did nothing.

"That's an order Belisair! Save me now! You will listen to me. Do as I command! Damn you! You are my mine! You belong to ME! I created you!"

The fake Belisair spoke to the bird saying, "I can't help you anymore Flint. I'm not Belisair."

"You are who I say you are!" Flint protested, "You do what I say. This is not about you, Belisair. It's not about any of you. It is about what I need! It's about ME! You will protect me from the monsters!"

The images dispersed in a wave of bird feathers and the crow was left alone with the hungry cat. Suddenly, the Alpha grabbed the bird in his jaws and took him to the wizards lab. It's eye was gone and replaced by a foul smelling hole of green pus. Before setting the bird on the operating table, the wolf snapped both of the crow's wings. The wizard appeared and took a scapulae from his row of bloodied surgery tools.

Flint pleading with the wizard saying,
"Please sir... Don't do this again!"

Placing the tip of the blade on the bird's neck, the wizard said, "What a fool; to think I would not return to finish my work! These experiments won't complete themselves you know."

"You can't do this," the bird screamed. "It's evil!"

"Evil? Of course it is! If there is good in the world there most also be evil. It is only natural. The world is full of evils and I am one of its many vessels. Some live to experience only the good but you experienced the bad. You are a cursed crow, Flint. Poor unlucky bird!"

The one-eyed Alpha leaped on to the table and growled saying, "It's not luck that sent you here. It is your own evils. Evils are in all of us. They are in me and in YOU! My son died at your hand. My family and friends were killed because of you! You hated humans and you hate your friends. You are an evil bird that must atone for his wrongs. That is why you suffered Flint. My hate for you will never die. Kyngerz @KingsPlague is not here to save you nor is Belisair @Delacare ! Belisair will kill the Palsiet because you wanted to reveal his secrets. All your friends will die from your selfishness."

Flint squawked in fear.

The cat who had just entered the room said,
"Are you afraid bird! What happened to you? You were so cocky and fearless when you killed me. Finally you realized how frail you really are."

The cat laughed as they operated on him.

Suddenly a bright light appeared, making the three torturers fade away from the mind of the bird. Flint stared at the new arrival, who looked exactly like him. The other crow's black feathers shimmered through the darkness. Flint's 'other half' had finally entered Flint's mind again...

Rex sat in the bar, having a drink of Whiskey. Oddly enough, he had adjusted to his current predicament, he knew that there was nothing to remember, but it didn't bother him so much if he kept himself distracted. "Ugh,," he took a shot, then shook his head and stood up. He felt buzzed, and knew that enough was enough. Taking a bottle with him, he moved out onto the streets and began to wander. Taking a turn, he walked into an alley, then leaned against a wall and took a deep breath. "What the hell is this?" he muttered, pulling the stone out of his pocket and staring at it. For now, he contemplated whether he should wander or stay put, fully aware that the rock was influencing his mind.

"Flint! Listen to me! Don't run away! Your mind will never return if you do."

"Get out! Why do you look like me? "

"Because, in a way, I am you! I have resided in you since you were born."

"Leave me alone! You've always tormented me! Just let me suffer in the dark."

I can't do that. I'm trapped here until you release me."

"Fine! I release you, just LEAVE!"

"...Flint. I want you to come back with me. Come back to the living!"

"No! I'm not going back to that awful place. Why do you keep making me do things you want?"

"...I'm sorry."

"You are not!"

"I AM! I won't control you anymore. If you won't go back with me you may stay here- but I won't leave you until you are at peace."

I'm dead! I will never be at peace! That damn Constantine @KingsPlague ! Why did you send him to destroy me?"

"I did not send him. Your friends did."

"..."

"Your friends love you. Don't you get it! Stop being such a stubborn idio- ...*sigh* Flint! I do not want to hurt you... Please, for the sake of your friends, come back with me or let me help you find rest."

"...I- I can't go back! And how can I find peace knowing my friend's are not here with me? I want to be with them. But that damn world. It's such a miserable place."

"Do you remember want Belisair @Delacare said...

Delacare said:
"I'm not mad at you. I know it's hard for you to just throw out trust after spending your entire life with that wizard, but you must try. There is pain in this world and you will experience more than you think you could bear, but there is also so much pleasure, love and happiness. You must be open to and anticipate the good as well as the bad. Do you understand?"
...Yes, the world is full of horrors. I won't argue about that, but wouldn't you give anything for one last moment of happiness with your friends. Belisair, Kyngerz, Lila @Kry , Rex @Knightling , and Lena @JJKab ."

"I..."

"Flint. Go with me! Give the world one last chance. Let's live life worth living!"

"..."

"Please Flint. Please!"

The Wondering Spirit extended out his glimmering wing to Flint. Flint's quivering hand slowly reached out to the Wondering Spirit. When their hands touched, Flint felt a calming sensation flowing threw him giving his weary head peace. Their bond was finish. They would return to earth together as one once the Egg of Regeneration and Flint's body were found...

Coming from the North, there was a deep rumble that could be felt in the earth beneath Thoranhall. As the wave passed, Belisair struggled slightly before settling and calling out, in his forced slumber.

"Flint!" There was great sadness and desparation in his voice as he stilled.

There is no way of knowing how long he would remain at rest, but he needs to be removed from civilization soon.

There were countless smaller tremors in the forest as Saza-Hallah sought to reclaim some of its buried structures without greatly disturbing the surrounding wildlife and wilderness. Unfortunately, Saza didn't seem to have enough power to pull up more than just a few stepping stones near the central complex.

"Strange, I am usually much stronger than this. I wonder what has happened."

The ancient mind searched itself for its heart, but as it turned inward to the true center of the temple grounds, it saw something that made it shudder in anguish and pain. The Hearth of Saza-Hallah was cold, the flame had been-

"Stolen. My Heart, my Flame and Fervor, is gone." Saza-Hallah's mind recoiled in confusion and indignation before turning to melancholy then solemness.

"Who could do such a thing? Who would take my Heart?" Saza-Hallah struggled to keep calm as it searched its physical entirety in hopes of finding the Flame had simply been misplaced, but it was nowhere to be found.

"My Heart, I need my Heart." The Temple called out to anyone who could hear it.

"Please, someone, anyone help me! I must find It. Please! I need to retrieve it. Come to me, help me return what I have lost, and I will reward you greatly."

Saza-Hallah knew that several people were gifted enough to hear its called, but not much more. It had been running on reserve power, and that call for help had drained them somewhat. Needing to rest and wait, Saza-Hallah terminated its reconstruction project and allowed several of the protection spells to fall back into place; it was easier to let the temple simple not be there. Hopefully, someone would answer the call.

Kyngerz Growled at Zephyr, he had no respect for the Palsiet and had his reasons to hate him, but this time the Palsiet would not stand for it, he wouldn't let the Winds destroy everything "You call me a HeartBreaker, a Scourge, a Monster. You have no respect Zephyr. You have always been around, you have seen how many Lives I have saved, and how many friends I've lost. In many Countries I am still known as a hero, as a legend. But no, you always go for the destruction which I could not stop. You know well enough that I am a Vault for the Dragon. You knew well enough that I could not Save Flint. But of course, your thick headed hatred of me blinds you and causes more destruction then needed. Just like back then... It may have been Fer^Thung that wiped the Sylph of the face of the world, but tell me Zephyr. Who was it who Challenged him? Who was it that wanted to prove his greatness to the Sylph and then Failed to keep the Beast Subdued. COME AND FACE ME YOU COWARD, LET US END THIS QUARREL ONCE AND FOR ALL!" he shouted onto the wind, knowing Zephyr would hear his words.

Zephyr

As the last echoes of Kyngerz's challenge faded upon the wind, a soft a fragrant breeze flowed through the Inn with His arrival.

"There was no need to shout; I was only a continent away." As he spoke, Zephyr made his way to Belisair. He swept away the tethers hold his body, and settled beneath the Sylph's skin.

"Ahhh, that is much better. I've missed being so close to my Sylphid." Finally visible to the Party, he turned to Kyngerz and eyed him cooly. Belisair's eyes were never meant to look so cold.

"I suggest that you remember your place, child, and respect your Elders. I have tolerated your arrogance and constant closeness to my child for far too long, so don't test me. I do not trust you. I do not like you. I know your past better than you do. Above all, I hate how deeply you've managed to sink your despicable ice dragon claws into Belisair's heart." Zephyr stepped closer to Kyngerz and placed a single finger upon the Palsiet's chest.

"What respect do you deserve that I should show you anymore than I already do? You saved lives with a stolen power you could not control. The Gods, my siblings, spoke against your kind and smote you as their right. Any fool with a bit of luck and a flair for the dramatic could become a legend; look at Terdinal the Conqueror. The destruction was your fault Kyngerz, BECAUSE you could not stop it. If you had been on active duty, you could have prevented the bird's capture, but you were too busy sulking because Belisair tapped into our memories and hurt your feelings. I hate you greatly Kyngerz, for causing me so much pain, I hate you." Zephyr had stopped poking the Palsiet and rose to stare levelly at him.

"You are implying that I challenged the Dragon, but you speak of things you could not possible understand. Let me make this clear to you; I don't rule the Wind, I AM the Wind. Aer is my mother and father. The Sylphs are my body and children. I challenged no one; I was challenged. I am a God in my own right, bound by the same laws as all the others, but long before they were. I could not protect my children without breaking those laws. That was your reason for existence! Without it, I see no reason to let you continue." With his words, a Spear of Aer formed in his hand as he prepared to drive it through Kyngerz heart and watch as it tore him to shreds from the inside. The Spear was wrapped in a breeze that smelled of blooming lotus blossom in the pale moonlight, and dissipated. He wanted, dearly, to remove this nuisance from his presence, but even now he was bound and by Belisair's love, no less!

"How he can care for you is beyond me. Even now, knowing how you failed, he wishes to protect you, to heal you. You must be blessed by my Grandparents, to be so well protected from the Wills of the Gods."

Zephyr turned from the Palsiet in search of a seat; he didn't want to place too much strain on Belisair's body.

The Palsiet spat at Zephyrs feet "Oh the Great Zephyr "I am a God in My own right" You know a Palsiet once commanded you like a dog, you know that his spirit still haunts you and yet you come to me and tell me I am the one who is in the wrong? You know better than anyone that it was Kay^Haas who brought the gods wrath upon my race, and not I. You claim to know so much, speaking of me not being able to harness the power of Fer^Thung as if I had wished his soul being encased inside my very being. You claim that I am the one who let the bird die, knowing that my gods have forsaken my kind and my visions are scarce. Did you warn your Precious Sylph that his best friend was in peril?" the palsiet laughed and unbuckled his weapons dropping them to the ground with an audible klang "You are like all other beings who claim themselves gods for having created something, you care not for their well-being, only for your own worship." he smeared two charcoal triangles over his eyes and one underneath before he opened his leather armor revealing his chest to mark two crosses in rather akward places, one for each of his hearts "I have spent all my life after the genocide of my race to save others from destruction, to try and ease my mind of the sins my kind has comited. I have accepted that my Gods have abandoned me, but I will not have the likes of you make others bow to your biding just so you can try and prove yourself." he grinned at the Zephyr, not fearing whatever would come next. "So Strike me down now if you wish to silence me, But remember that the Last Sylph will never trust you again once he finds out you let his best friend die and killed one of his allies."

Zephyr

Zephyr sat Belisair's body down in a chair and reclined as the Palsiet challenged him in mortal combat. He sighed softly as he willed Bel's shoulder to repair itself.

"You seem to think that I care what you believe. Just because Kay^Haas was adept at bending the wind, does not mean he was its true master. He struck a deal and I accepted it. I needed a way to act outside my allotted field of influence, and he provided that medium, so, I granted him a sliver of power to do as he wished with it. If I recall correctly, you told Belisair that you would protect him, or some such nonsense. Flint was and is a part of Belisair so that oath extended to him as well." Zephyr was growing tired of being civil.

"It is not my place to mettle in the affairs of mortals anymore. I gave up much to be able to watch over my last child in this form, lack of free will generally being the price I pay. One such as you could hardly ever understand that Gods are given responsibilities to balance our powers; Yours' was to govern your people and lead them down the right path. Whatever excuse you would like to use, they failed and were forced to destroy you all as punishment, and believe me when I say that it pained them more than it did you. My responsibility is to this world AND my children, unfortunately, it was deemed that this world's well-being was greater than the Sylphs' and so I failed. You already know my punishment." Zephyr rose and glided towards Kyngerz.

"I have told no one to bow. I have asked for no worship. I have cared for this world long before your Gods even thought you up, and I will continue to do so long after even my little Sylphid fades away. This also my burden to bare and I bare it with honor. You are still but a child Kyngerz. Go play with someone else and leave Belisair be. You have caused him enough grief." Zephyr called the winds and drug the Palsiet and his affects out of the Inn, out of the town and into the forest beyond, where no innocents could be harmed. As an after thought, he called along Constantine, Lena, Lila, Schmendrick and Faust.

"If you insist on fighting something, however, I will let you face the monster you have created. Belisair dear, you've slept long enough. Wake up and tell Kyngerz how you feel."

Zephyr's presence diminished as he returned to the breezy form that followed Belisair like a puppy. As his feet touched down upon the earth once more, Belisair opened his eyes and looked at the Palsiet with a sadness deeper than the darkest waters.

"Flint's dead." He whispered.

And the skies crashed down.

Kyngerz rolled out of the way to grab his weapons. this was not good, as powerful as Zephyr is he knew how to corrupt easily, and now he would have to face his own friend in combat. "Chevestty be est" he mumbled as he drew his shortsword, the blade glowing blue in preperation for what would happen next "Belisair, he is not dead, his soul still lives and we can revive him. Do not listen to the voice, it has betrayed many including your own kind. Listen to your friends, listen to your heart. You can feel that Flint is still alive, he just needs our help." the Palsiet said, keeping a hand close to his throwing axes incase he needed to take more dangerous measures.

The Palsiet had defeated many who turned on him, and he had never had a harder battle than his own nemisis Kay^Haas, he hoped he could Calm the sylph as he wanted to avoid this quarrel at all costs.

Belisair held himself and rocked back and forth as tears flew from his eyes and glowed, the tumultuous winds swaying in sync to his.

"Flint. My Flint, my good little egg is gone. How could he be gone? We were supposed to spend my eternity together. We were supposed to be happy." Zephyr had taken his sadness and rage, but this was new, this despair greatly outweighed what he has felt before.

Belisair fell to his knees as the weight of his emotions became to great to bear. It was too much.

"Just when I thought I had found happiness. When I had finally left behind the demons of my past and their hateful words, this happens. Why? Why me?!" He threw back his head and screamed to the heavens as lighting split the sky.

Belisair turned his head slowly as Kyngerz spoke. He looked at the Palsiet as if he was a stranger for a long moment before recognition wrote itself across his face.

"Kyngerz, Flint died. He's gone and I feel so cold and empty. He was stolen from me; I can't sense him. I can't find my soul."

Belisair paused as he remembered something.

"The wolf. Th-the dragon. Oh Kyngerz I remember everything. I remember- I remember." His voice was barely audible.

"You..."

Several funnels formed in the clouds and stretched towards the earth, condensing into high speed rotational javelins the circumference of baseballs, aim for Kyngerz.

"This is all your fault."

It hurt for him to admit it.

Kyngerz knew what would come for him, he felt the cold as death would soon greet him. "Yes Belisair, I was there. I was there when your kind was anihilated, and I was there when Flint was killed by the Alpha, and believe me I did everything in my power to save them. I do not deny my sins and nor will I run from them. If it is your wish to strike me down then do so. But I must warn you, The Ice Dragon that Slew your kind rests in my body, If you slay me he will be released in his full fury, and If your entire kind couldn't fend him of in his weakend state I would strongly reconsider letting him loose now." the Palsiet said, he spoke true as he knew that lies would get him no further. He had always been ready for death, perhaps this may be the time that he will greet the Reaper and return to the hall of the gods to burn amongst the Ethereal Flame.

He had admitted guilt, and accepted his punishment. Belisair wanted to tear his body to shreds. Someone had to pay. He would pay. No, not him, everyone; everyone and everything would suffer if he had to. He would become the Reaping Wind that razed the fields and felled empires. He would destroy everything.

'All for want of a crow.' Belisair giggled maniacally as his kneeling posture shifted and became less rigid.

"What's the point of protecting anyone, of saving anyone, when the people closest to you die?" The question was for himself, but he directed it at the Palsiet. There was a hollow and solemn echo to his voice, and when he looked at Kyngerz, his face was a disturbing amalgamation of dark emotions, as his eyes were lost beneath a black cloud. He smiled at Kyngerz, and the absolute loathing and bloodthirstiness he exuded would have chilled the heart of a flame elemental. The next he spoke, his voice was cheerful and friendly, but it was a mockery of his former self.

"Why don't we just play a game to pass the time Kynny? The Javelin's halted and returned to the skies, though still they swirled in preparation.

"I am sure the dragon won't mind playing along." Belisair stood slowly and fully spread his wings, before leaping into the sky and grabbing a Javelin. He spun it tighter than a single thread and return to the ground with it in hand.

"I wonder if I could even kill you. I wonder if it would hurt my heart if I did. I wonder if I could make you writhe in agony as I prance upon your corpse. Shall we dance?"

With no further fanfare, Belisair launched the Javelin at high speed towards Kyngerz's heart, before leaping to collect two more loose Javelin's spinning and launching them along a curved path to strike the Palsiet from both sides.

Kyngerz was prepared for the attack, he could see how the Zephyrs own will overpowered the will of the Sylph and forced him against himself. The Ice he controled would not be needed yet, he twirled lightly on his feet and dodged the Javelins as they tore into the ground "What is the Point of living while all others you cherish die, why would I still avoid your spears if I have accepted my fate? You are but a child Belisair, I have lived long enough to watch my closest allies races die out, I've fought in countless wars and here you come to challenge me after I did everything in my power to save Flint, while you had no idea where he was or what he was up to. I protect others because I couldn't protect the one I needed most, I protect others because no one should face the same endless torture that is my life. And now I will answer my own question as to why I avoided your attack.

There will always be those who need protection and as long as I live I shall do my best to help. I refuse to die because I refuse to let those who wronged me be right in the end. If you want Flint to return we can do that together, but not if you continue being foolish.
" he bellowed at the Sylph, his blade glowed bright blue and then the colour faded, leaving only the silver blade shimmering in the light. He was in full control over Fer^thung now, his smile broadening as his body became stiff as he prepared to face the Sylph in combat.

"You will fight and you will perish. That is the law of this world, for nothing is eternal if it is alive. Why not end your suffering, and return to the Hearth? I can give you peace along with the rest of this world." He called down a single funnel and, grasping one end, snapped it like a whip onto the ground, shattering several trees into sawdust. He smiled as he contemplated the shift in Kyngerz's stance.

"I can have peace, and so can you." He banished the funnel and flew, actually flew, to Kyngerz swiftly. He reached out and touched the Palsiet's cheek softly.

"Just LET GO. Let the wind sweep you off your feet. I promise that I will be gentle." He whispered softly as he caressed Kyngerz's cheek. His eyes cleared slightly, showing the sky blue beyond the storm clouds; Belisair almost looked like himself, almost.

This is when the Palsiet struck, he grabbed the Sylph by the chest and smashed him into the ground, ice instantly encasing him to prevent him from moving. "I will not let myself be killed, my death will be a hard fought battle against a supirior foe. I will not give up on saving Flint when we are so close to reviving him. Either join us in resurecting the crow or stay out of my way before I take drastic measures" The Palsiet glared at Bel, the Zephyr really had broken the poor lads spirit and the only way to pull him back is to break him more and hit him where it hurts. He needed a plan, no, he needed something he hadn't had in eons, he needed his gods to bless him with the power they had given him at his creation. He needed a vision of the future possibilities to make everything the way it should be.

Belisair's eyes darkened once more and his skin turned paler than Bone Cloud - clouds made from the ground bones of colossal sized entities, like dragons or titans, that roam the Far Reaches and scrape the flesh from the living. He chuckled darkly as the Palsiet threatened to get "drastic".

"Tch, to think I actually cared for you. You are and always will be pathetic Kynny. I don't want to resurrect Flint back into this decrepit world. I want to take the world to him, where we can make it perfect. If you stand in my way, I'll simply have to melt your Ice and your hearts."

Belisair called to the winds and slammed down a whirlwind around the duo. He then brought down a rain of Windy Javelins that covered the entire area of the whirlwind-cum-arena.

"I'm a bit offended that you don't think I'm a worthy adversary. Has our time together taught you nothing? I never realized that I played the damsel so very well. Allow me to remedy that mistake presently."

Calling forth a wind from within, Belisair summoned a continuous wind blast from his core and pushed against the Palsiet with the simple intention to create space. These winds were powerful, and be it the ice, his muscles or his bones, something of Kyngerz's was going to give soon enough.

"As soon as I get you off of me, I'm going to show you a wind spell I read about from a close friend of yours. I think you'll like it. It's 'cutting edge' technology."

Kyngerz took each blow, his eyes staring deep into Belisairs, searching them for anything that was still the Bel he knew. The javelins struck his back but he showed no pain, the silver blood of the palsiet dripping onto the icy case around the sylph. He smiled at Bel "You can kill me Belisair, but it is too late for flint. His soul will not remain in purgatory much longer, Constantine has broken your friends will, he wishes to return to the mortal world, but if the gate doesn't open in time, his soul will fade. You can continue and fight me, but I will be sure to visit your friend and show him what you've done. You are weak in your planning child, and as the last of your race you should consider making a better name for the Sylph instead of "Slayer of the Kings Plague" " the Palsiet stepped off the cask and it shattered, freeing the Syph, he smiled and held out his arms "Strike me down boy, I wil not give you another chance. My gods will smile upon me, will yours do the same?"

Belisair stood slowly and glared darkly at the self satisfied giant before him. His arrogance had no bounds, truly.

"I am weak in nothing, except my belief that you could be useful to me. I am tired of listening to your stupid holier-than-thou sermons. Your gods abandoned you to this world, so why would they care to even look at you much less smile upon you? That is just wishful thinking."

Belisair laughed harshly as he began pacing back and forth in front of the Kyngerz, ranting out loud while contemplating his next move.

"You assume that I would let you live. You label me a child for giving in to my emotions, when you've done the same and led to true catastrophe. You lectue me on how my kind will be remembered, but let me remind you that WE AREN'T! We are even more forgotten than the Palsiets. At least you al have ruins and relics that circulate this world creating wonder int he eyes of mortal. We left nothing, we became nothing. That was His punishment you know? Not all of us dying, but being "forgetful and forgotten". It's a fate worse than death." He was rambling, but there were things he needed to say, before he killed the Palsiet, at least.

He turned fully away from Kyngerz and held himself as his wings drooped. His skin looking a slightly better shade of pale.

"Its funny how you call me 'boy' when I've witnessed so many lifetimes. Each one tragic. Each one stolen. Every one and everyone lost." He turned back to Kyngerz with tears in his eyes, his dark blue eyes.

"How do you expect me to handle this? To accept and move on, with you walking right beside me? That isn't fair. You are supposed to pay penance, not me." He wiped away the tears and his eyes became solid black orbs as his skin turned bone white, with black veins visible beneath. His voice was chilled with the cold of death.

"So, I'll just have to relieve myself of this burden. Its not mine and I refuse to carry it, but you have no choice." The wind took on a dark tint aand a savage aura.

"Oh and if I was to be given a title, it wouldn't be for slaying you, it would be 'Rathadveg Whynshto', it which razes the Fields. Goodbye Kynny."

Wasting no time, Belisair wrapped the Palsiet in several layers of constricting landspouts as he split the sky open.

"Brakert Daidon Rurdgan Raiden!"

Black tinged lightning crackled across the sky as it flashed down towards Kyngerz and-

"That is quite enough, Belisair. I think you've made your point. Now its time for you to let that 'thing' go and be yourself again."

The dark lightning had fizzled and faded as Zephyr stepped before Kyngerz and saved him.
