"Well, I just came to the beacon to check it's source... after that... I just... stayed, I guess" She exclaimed, smiling gently at the magician, watching him eat
Schmendrick perks up at the mention of a Beacon.

"Beacon? What Beacon?" Schmendrick looks exceedingly interested.

"I don't know myself, but one day I woke up, thinking about going to the lake near my treehouse, and then out of nowhere, boom.... there it is, shooting right into the sky. I decided to investigate, and that's how I met these guys.." Lena exclaimed, looking at the companion all around the Inn, with a smirk on her lips

Schmendrick had pulled out a book titled; Book of magic mysteries, and began to write down everything Lena said. "Uh huh, yep, really?" The magician looks up from his book as the elf finishes. "That's incredibly curious." He begins to smile. "It's a good thing that you checked out that beacon or else you wouldn't have met all these fine folk. They seem like good company." He begins to take a look around the bar and then back to Lena. "An odd group but a good one." He goes back to eating his stew. @JJKab

Rex sat in a random alley, in another part of town from the inn. By this point, he had completely lost any memory of his previous comrades, and now spent his time surviving. With a sigh, he lifed his bottle of lukewarm beer and finished it off. Giving a growl, he threw the empty bottle at the ground in contempt.
((I want my zombie back. I'm getting my zombie back.))

As Belisair sat down at a table with Lila in tow, the maid placed his and her meals on the table with a bright smile.

"Here you go, sir. Hope you didn't wait too long."

Belisair smiled back.

"Not at all, Madame. Your service is excellent." She blushed. "You wouldn't have happened to see any of my other companions blow through here have you?"

"Do you mean the first group you came in with?"

"Yes I do."

"Well the little girl hasn't come back since she left, and the exotic lady has all but disappeared, she left a note saying that she had 'chosen her own path', whatever that means."

"What about the confused gentleman I was with, not the tall one."

"If you mean the one thats always hungry and looks real tired, then he just left a few minutes before you came in. All he does is drink, but he's hungry. It is strange."

"Yes he is quite troubled. I hope he hasn't gotten into too much trouble. Thank you, milady."

Belisair flashed her a scandalous grin and winked causing the barmaid to blush scarlet and giggle before curtsying and walking away.

"Lila, I am going to see if I can fetch our friend, Rex. It puts me ill a tree ease knowing that he is on his own. There's no telling who he could hurt by accident."

Taking a moment to listen to the wind and catching an interesting snippet of growling, Belisair promptly left the Inn and breezed through the streets and alleyways.

Just as he thought he had lost the trace, he heard a bottle smashing against cobblestone and went to investigate. He saw a very familiar looking bundle of clothes and slightly emaciated limbs growling at the shattered container.

"I thought I told you that mortal meals would neither satiate nor sustain you. What are you even doing here Rex? I wasn't gone that long."

Belisair walked towards the not-so-alive man slowly, and spoke softly, his voice full of concern. He thought Rex's predicament, whatever it actually was, was terrible and felt the need to care for and help this poor man.

'Poor child; so lost.'

Rex turned his body so that he could shuffle through some rubbish, digging through his belongings as he searched for his wallet. How he procured his money was probably best left unquestioned, but anybody could tell that he was now a street rat. With a small smile, he pulled out his wallet, but frowned when he found how little he had left. Giving a disgruntled sigh, he placed it in his pocket, deciding it was time to recoup his losses. Upon hearing somebody address him, Rex immediately turned his head and stood up to face Bel. Stumbling slightly, he steadied himself after having moved too fast, then squinted his eyes at the Half Sylph. Did this Elf-looking person just approach him like that? Reaching into his belt with an unsteady hand, Rex pulled out his hunting knife and held it firmly, then he spoke in a slurred voice "Who thuh hell are you to be pokin' in my bushiness, pal?" He questioned "I ain't no Rex, I'm,,," he paused, growing confused as he thought about his own name. He didn't seem to remember, maybe he Was Rex, but how did this fellow know? Turning his attention back to Bel, he gave an accusing look, his eyes dilating as he began to notice his flesh. It seemed too inciting to ignore, but he tried "Mind your own Goddamned bushiness!"

Belisair halted his approach and eyed the man cooly.

'Joy. Another amnesiatic episode.'

"Rex, I need you to calm down. My name is Belisair and I'm your friend. You may have forgotten me, but I will not do the same to you. I know you are hungry and tired and lonely. Come with me, and we can fix all that."

He shone a smile that overflowed with reliability and trustworthiness.

"You can trust me."

Rex spun the knife in his hand and pointed it at him in a warning gesture "I'll calm down when I damn well wish!" He stated, wild eyes fixated on Bel like an unpredictable animal. Even now, no memories resurfaced, and he was as much in the dark as before. Not letting down his guard, he reached for his own necklace with his free hand and read the dog tag. "Rex" his eyes narrowed as he looked back at Belisair "You knew my name, you know me?" He lowered the knife carefully, beginning to trust the smile. He had apparently known him before, but had no memory of it. "Listen, Belsare,,Belairser,,er,,whatever, I just want some answers" Rex tried to explain, trying to fight his hunger urge. Turning away, he slipped the knife back into the sheath, then felt his stomach growl. Something ancient and powerful began to rise up inside of him, seeming to take him over completely. Overwhelmed with the ferocious appetite, the zombie turned and stared at Bel with wide eyes. Without warning, he lunged forward and tackled him, then bit into his shoulder with the zeal of a starving beast.

((Shit just got real, and the zombie wont come quietly.))

Well this was just great. Belisair had gotten Rex to calm down only to end up nearly mawed to death by a starving undead.

'Not how I imagined my death.'

Belisair was taken by great surprise as Rex tackled him to the cobblestone. He was scared and hurt as Rex bit into his shoulder. He became angry when the undead man attempted to drain his mana as well as consume his flesh.

All of his allies had attacked and betrayed him in some form. It was no surprise that Rex, who couldn't even remember his own name, would do the same. He be damned if he let himself die here, and he'd be twice as damned if he let Rex condemn himself to being a mindless monster to be put down like a pathetic mad beast.

Belisair screamed in pain and indignation and the wind responded in kind.

"Get off of me, now!"

The wind howled and ripped through Thoranhall's streets, converging on the duo and lifting them into the air as Belisair slammed the undead hard into a stone wall.

"Foul and unnatural creature born of the grave's soil, I command you: Release Me."

Rex gripped Bels' shoulder desperately as he sunk his teeth deeper, trying to take as much as he could. Unable to concentrate on anything else but the hunger, he was taken by surprise when the wind pulled them up, but he clung on still with every ounce of his strength. The taste of the living felt like heaven, but it was cut short when he was finally shoved against the stone wall. With the breath knocked out of him, Rex blinked quickly with his glazed eyes, the High of flesh still upon him as he flashed his bloody teeth. Struggling, he moved forward and fell to his hands and knees, coughing as he began returning to normal. The blood felt good for his appetite, yet he felt himself gag as he was unused to the taste. Clawing the ground desperately, Rex vomited violently. Breathing heavier, he felt more alive for only a brief moment.

Belisair looked on as Rex regurgitated blood and flesh. It was a gruesome sight. He almost wanted to drop the winds and help the poor creature, but then he felt the pain of his shoulder being ripped to shreds and his anger rose. It would be so easy to crush that pathetic pile of walking corpse. With the wave of a hand, a single thought, he could bring his wrath to bear and rend Rex limb from limb. He wanted to, dearly. Belisair needed to show everyone his power, his heritage, his fury.

'I could make them all bow before me and quiver in fear. Such power...'

His Fae was taking over as he fell deeper into his emotions. He didn't have Zephyr to reason his more dangerous emotions with, he gave in.

Just as Belisair motioned to crush Rex under the force of a F-3 funnel, he looked down upon the pitiful and creature and felt remorse. Belisair had abandoned Rex to... The reason didnt matter. He had convinced the man to trust him and then had left.

The winds died down and Belisair descended and stood in front of the heaving man. He pulled out a handful of mana stones and drained them over the zombie's body and watched patiently as they were absorbed into Rex's body. He then took the time to drink an emergency minor regneration potion for his shoulder.

"I sincerely hope that those 6 stones will hold you for a while, I would prefer to never have you try to eat me, again."

Honorint didn't put up much of a fight. Their minds were weak and mushy, easily taken over by The Name. There were few left who hadn't been taken over and those who weren't were being hunted down. All they would have to do is listen to the name, really listen, an they would join the rest. The Name would dig its way into their brain and take control. They would finally have the pleasure of saying the name. Those who were not hunting for more prey were digging. They were plunging deep into the earth, looking for the darkness. All of Honorint was in ruin, and all it took was a couple of hours and a name. The Name. But something was off. The Name could sense something nearby. Something old and powerful... an immortal. Maybe two. They would be useful. But their was something else. A familiar aura, one The Name hadn't felt in years. Could it be? An Outrider! Yes it was unmistakable. He would have to die. The Name picked 20 of the strongest bodies on hand and sent them into the woods. They would wait in the shadows of the forest, and the next time anyone set foot in those woods they would hear the name, they would feel the name and they would join the name.

"Say... How did you meet up with our group.. .I do not recall you near the beacon" Lena exclaimed, brushing some hair out of her vision, and tucked it behind her ear, as she spoke, smiling gently at Schmendrick

Schmendrick leaned back in his chair a little with a big grin on his face. "Well I had been wondering the woods for quiet some time. I guess I stumbled upon you folks just by happenstance." He thinks a bit for a second before continuing. "I've been a bit of a Vagabond for a long while, ever since..." The magicians eyes go dark for a split second, his usually chipper aura fading for a short time before returning. "Well, that's a story for another time. I guess the short of it is I was travelling through this small town called Honorint, when this creepy old guy told me if I was looking for adventure that I should go to Thoranhall. That's when I met you guys." His grin widens. "A bit of a pro tip from me to you, always listen to creepy old guys when you're looking for adventure. They tend to know a lot about that." He chuckles to himself. @JJKab

Lena giggled lightly, moving her hand to her mouth

"Yeah... they sure are worthy of trust..." She exclaimed, laughing gently.

"It's really nice of you that you decided to join us. So far, we need to move to the Temple.... the templeee..." She snapped her fingers a few times, but sighed

"I can't remember the place, but I told Belisair about it, he might be able to get us there" She exclaimed.

Schmendrick smirked at Lena's surprise. "Of course I can get you there! They don't call me the master Funkromancy for nothing!"

"Good gods! You're not there yet! Of all the stu-! ...Sorry! Um... Okay. Saza-hallah Temple is... Hmm... Nor- nor- no- n- Gods! I can't say it. The long and short of it is I am cursed from saying the exact location of the Temple. The jackass who took away my physical form also made me unable to tell anyone the location of the Egg of Regeneration. I'm sorry! That stupid Zephyr, he did this to me! And all I did was make an rude comment about his mother. Gods! Talk about holding grudges! You'll just have to convince Belisair to take you. I know that him and Zephyr are 'besties' but he cares for Flint. He will help take you there and bring back Flint's body. What's the problem with doing that? Why don't you just ask him about it?! Excuse my impoliteness, I just feel something is coming and it will bring spirits who seek to hurt the animals I must protect."

When Lila tried to tell him that he's wrong, he ignored her as well... and when I told him about the Temple and Zephyr the first time... He didn't understand a thing about that "idiot" what you call him"
