Fantasy The Spirit Inside ~ Forest and Village

Somewhere deep in the forest, is an old tree, maybe a thousand years or more. It used to be green and full of fruits, it provided a home for many animals and shade for passerby's. Now it's does none of those things. It's been a long time since the tree had any leaves, let alone fruit and its bark is twisted and gnarled and grey, not much good for a home. Not even termites will use it's wood. And despite all these things that's not why nothing will come near this tree. For years this tree has been twisted and distorted, trying to say one name but not able to do so. And now, finally in these deep dark woods the tree has snapped, it has broken it self and died but it has finally done what it set out to do all those years ago. Say the name. A small whisper echos through out the woods. The Name is free.

Belisair nodded and gave thr Bard a slightly less murderous look.
'It was a start.' For them both.

"We will leave once Lena has recovered. I'm sure that Kyngerz is going to be that way for some time."
Schmendrick nods and smiles. "Of course, of course. We don't want to put to much stress on their healing bodies. Although I do know a bit of healing ma-"

Freud smacks the magician across the face with his wing while glaring at him.

"Oww! Okay no healing magic, have it your way." Schmendrick smiles at Belisair and shrugs. "You'll soon find that my companion is quiet the pessimist. He's never had any faith in me."

"... -! Gods! I hope the elf creature is on her way to the temple. What if they never reach it? What if Zephyr won't bring the bird's body back. What if Flint refuses to leave his realm? What will happen to my little ones? Stop! - Worry?! Why am I so afraid of failure. The animals above will be safe without me, at least for a little while. The corrupt spirits do not yet know of my absence. No point in panicking right now... Huh!?"

Belisair chuckled at the two's antics.
"Well if you lack faith in your companion, im sure that we will get along. As you already know my name, wing brother, would you do my the honor of telling me yours?"
Freud looked towards Belisair, his head was cocked at a slight angle. "Can you understand me? Oh neat you can understand me! I'm so tired of talking to this idiot all the time, though I've grown fond of the fool. Trust me he is much more than he seems and I'm sure you'll see what I see in time. Anyway my name. My Full name is Sigmund Schlomo Freud, though I prefer just Freud. My... past owner called me Sigmund and I hated the creature just as much as I hate the name Sigmund."

"You know I can hear you Freud. Don't call me an idiot." Freud turns back to Schmendrick.

"You're an idiot."

"Yeah, well you're a... Shit I had one for this give me a sec." Freud looks to Belisair and gives him a look that says "See what I have to put up with?"

"A Bird brain! Yeah, that's the one." Schmendrick pumps his fist and then looks to Belisair. "Get it? 'Cause he's a bird?" Schmendrick looks incredibly proud of his bad joke. @Delacare

Lila released Kyngerz from the embrace, she was content to be quiet and let the others handle Belisair, but then Lena woke was saying strange things. Lila watched the elf for a few moments, and when Belisair called her over to tend to Lena, Lila met his gaze with a look of disappointment and something else a bit unreadable. She even huffed lightly at him, he didn't have much right to ask anything of her after how he had treated her. However, for Lena's sake, Lila went to the elf's side.

She put an arm around Lena to help support her. That girl really didn't look well at all, and Lila was a bit worried about her.
"..It'll be fine.." The words were whispered softly, but full of a quiet determined resolve. If there was a chance to get Flint back, then Lila would make damned sure it worked. Even if they didn't get the pretty bird back, she would make sure they did everything they could to help him move on. He was her friend. He'd have done the same for her.

Lena looked at Lila, as she sighed, immidiately looking away

"Lila... We... *sigh* We need to get Flint'a body back... That's our goal for now. If we don't, we could be in majour trouble... Could you help me convince Belisair to talk to Zephyr.. ?" She said quietly, looking hopefully into Lila's eyes.

"I... I had... Some sort of vision... Wandering spirit talked to me.. Saying that our little friend couldn't agree with his death, and created a new world, where we're fine, no one died... And if the spirit won't get into the other animal.. T-Then horrible concenquences would happen..." She explained. Lena then looked at Belisair, and sighed lighty

"I tried explaining this to Belisair, but... He didn't understand..."

The colour was returning to Lena's cheeks, as well as her eyes started to look better.

Belisair looked sad for just a moment as Freud intoduced himself; once again the sylphs were less than a memory.

"Of course I can understand you, Freud. As a child of Cloud and Sky, I can understand the speech of all other such creatures. I have had little reason to believe in your friend so far, but if you say that he has potential, then I will take your words for it and try to be less rigid. If he can learn to keep himself to himself, that is."

Watching the two bicker made Belisair wish that Flint would wake up already, but he would just have to be patient.

"So by being perfectly accurate, you are insulting him? Quite." He drawled.

Schmendrick looks back between Freud and Belisair. "Am I being ganged up on? I feel like I'm being ganged up on." After a couple more seconds of looking between the two Schmendrick waves away the thoughts. "What ever, it doesn't matter, what matters is that I'm going to help your friends fly." He gives Belisair a thumbs up.

"
Child of cloud and sky?"

"Yes Freud we've been over this. He's a Sylph. A spirit of nature that can control/harness the wind and do other cool magic stuff. And as far as I know they're immortal."

"Right, Right. I forgot. Well it's nice to meet you Belisair."

Belisair's temper falred as his eyes flashed brightly.

"We control nothing. We harness nothing. We are the Wind. We are the countless voices of Aer given physical form. We are beyond the understanding of a single mortal mind. Do not forget that." His voice was quiet yet it carried upon the suddenly treacherous wind before it calmed and his expression cleared into a smile once again.

"Sorry. It is nice to meet you, wing brother Freud. Schmendrick we will depart once Kyngerz has decided what to do with his armor. Lena has improved greatly and I will give a potion to speed the process now that she is stable."

Walking over to Lila and Lena, Belisair handed to Yuan-ti a potion.

"Make sure she drinks this, it will improve her condition greatly."

He then stepped over the unconcious wizard and kneeled before Kyngerz.

"My medecines may not be able to heal you, but I will be dressing these wounds to at least slow the bleeding. Have you decided what to do with the armor yet? We will need to leave before dusk."

He had drawn several rolls of bandages, gauze, and cleansing potions from his right back pocket as he spoke and set to cleaning and binding the brooding Palsiet.

"I know that I should be angry at you for allowing that dragon to rampage through the hearts and souls of my people, but I can't bring myself to it. You are a good person and I think you beat yourself up over it enough. I will help you find control, one day."

He patted Kyngerz cheek softly, as he smiled encouragingly.

Schmendrick took a step back as Belisair began to get really defensive about what a Sylph was. Luckily for Schmendrick that was all that happened. As Belisair walked away Freud turned to the magician, an annoyed look on his face. "You really are an idiot." Schmendrick put a finger up like he was going to interject but then put his hand down and laughed instead.

"I guess I am Freud, I guess I am."

Seeing that people were almost ready for their trip, Schmendrick began to prepare for their journey but just then the magician realized he had no idea where they were going. Oh well. They would probably tell him on the way.

Schmendrick began to play his lute, blue ethereal flames gathering around his feet lifting him off the ground. As soon as Belisair gave the word they would be off and ready to go.

@Delacare ((@KingsPlague says he can't write today and we should go ahead with out him.))

Kyngerz putt on his armor and stood up slowly before sinking back to the floor "I am Sorry Friends but I must ask you to continue without me for a while, It seems that Fer^Thungs magic took quite it's toll on me, please go on and I shall catch up when I can. worry not for my safety, it is me after all." he said, looking to Constantine who was starting to wake up now.

Constantine sat up with a groan, shaking his head as if to rid himself of something clinging to his head, he looked around him and at the strange array of people with his now normal sized pupils, the copper iris shimmering with a tint of purple, he slowly got up to his feet and gave a cough to alert the others he was there "
Greetings fair beings, I am Constantine Feeblis, Grand Wizard Maester of the Basalt Academy. I recognize only an old friend by the name of Kyngerz Plagkets amongst you, so I must apologize for my previous actions as they where most likely rather...deranged? Seems like a fitting word. I offer my most humble apologies and pray you forgive me for any harm I may have caused" The Strange mage said, seeming like a completely different person.

Sophie woke up laying with her back to a tree in the middle of the woods dressed in nothing but a yellow jacket and pink bra and Bikini style underwear. She feels stiff and decides to get up and stretch she looks around wondering where she is. She decides to walk in a random direction and continue until she found civilization.

"Don't you worry Constantine. All is forgiven." He looks around at the group a smile on his face. "Is everybody ready to go?" @Kry @Delacare @JJKab

When she finds a small village she looks around and buttons up her jacket so she's not showing as much of her body. She walks into the village and looks around for someone who can help her.

Lila was frowning deeply, but she kept an arm around Lena, for physical and even moral support. "I tried to tell him earlier what happened with the dragon and about Flint, he wouldn't listen to me either." Lila's voice was a whisper, her lips close to Lena's ear. Her breath a warm, gentle tickling breeze as she spoke words meant only for Lena to hear. It seemed like Lila felt rather comfortable around the Elven girl now. Though it was more that Lila was feeling more comfortable with herself in the prescence of others.

The recent events had caused some drastic changes to happen within the Yuan-ti, it had given her the courage to make her own decisions and the courage to be more her own person than someone's property. Though this was still a rather new concept to Lila, the Yuan-ti would still depend on others, and perhaps even look to some of them for permission sometimes. Still, she was beginning to understand what it meant to be truly free.

When Belisair handed her the potion, she scrunched her nose up at him, that unreadable expression she had looked at him with before, was now clearly pity. The poor Sylph was in clear denial of Flint's death, refused to accept it. Lila took the potion, and held it over to Lena.
"This will probably help, Lord Belisair wouldn't give us anything bad to drink." He had left her with crazy casters, but Lila still mostly trusted the Sylph. He was going through a hard thing, his friend had died, and though Lila wanted to deal with her own feelings about that, she had to push them aside because Belisair needed help and comfort more than she.

She would make him come to his senses, for his own sake and for the sake of the rest of his friends.

A single whisper echoed through the woods, it was finally free. It traveled into the forest until it found a huntress. The woman heard the whisper and she listened. She tried to grasp this noise but it was beyond her, she listened again and it was still their. She focused her mind on this noise, curios as to what it was. Could it be potential game near by for her to hunt? No. It was a name, but whose name? She listened closer. Little did she know this wasn't just any name. This was The Name. A being beyond her existence or anything else that lived in this dimension for that matter. She began to feel compelled to listen more to this name, in fact that was all she could think about. What is this name? Who's name is this? It was in her head now. She felt the urge to scream, but scream what? The name? She tried to shout the name but she couldn't say it. Her mind was fading, her sanity slipping. She tries again, this time with different jaw placement. Now she's lost it. She screams in frustration despite the fact no one will hear her. Her pupils have dilated and gone blood shot with rage. She tries again, The Name taking root in her mind. She feels the urge to find the darkness. Why does she want to go into the darkness? Why does she feel the urge to shout this name? Desperate to say the name, she breaks her jaw and tries to speak the unspeakable again. Not quite but closer.

This huntress was a wife and a mother. She had hopes dreams and aspirations, but that was no more. All that occupied her mind now was The Name. She must spread the name, she must scream the name and she must find the darkness. In one last attempt to say the name she screamed, really screamed. Her muscles tore, her tendons snapped and her throat twisted but there it was. She had finally said the name! She said it over and over again as she walked out of the woods. She must go to her village and spread the name. She must go and find the Darkness. The Darkness The Darkness The Darkness The Darkness The Darkness The Darkness The Darkness.

Lena shivered lightly, feeling that Lila's lips were close to her right ear as she spoke, her breath tickling it a little. When Yuan-Ti gave her the potion, she smiled thankfully, and slowly took it, taking a deep sip of it.

Lena's body shivered lightly with sudden flow of energy. She sat up.

"Thank you, Lila... I feel better now" She said quietly, as she gave Lila a gentle, but true hug.

Constantine nodded and opened a portal, dragging Kyngerz through without explanation. The mage had decided to bring the palsiet to the tavern for a more relaxing place to get better, he then left and headed out by foot, bumping into a young lady by accident "My gods, I'm so sorry. It seems I am a bit more a Klutz than usual today" he said with a broad smile.

"Alrighty! Looks like were down another person, but that is A okay. Do we wait for her to come back or do we just leave with out her?" Schmendrick looks expectantly at Belisair. @Delacare
