It was a Monday, six am in the morning, sunlight flooded the academy of colour, a massive marble structure designed in a way to always have as much natural light as possible shining through the large glass ceilings and windows, the sun slowly rose over the city of kawlii. White masonry and breathtaking hue buildings closer toward the academy wood and stone closer toward the massive wall that protected the city and coast of kawlii.

Students of the academy would be waking up or sleeping in, the spectrums guard however would already be up. Training, In a more practical area of the academy

Or patrolling the city and academy.

Others are in kawlii, for their own business, but most everything of relevant information or importance passes through or stays at the academy,

Although those on the more "shady" side of business know to look in the city of kawlii

For the pink silk tavern close to the wall, it's said guards only patrol when urgently needed down that whole street near it.

Dart was in the pink silk tavern, waiting in the downstairs more "VIP" area if you will.

Pink silk banners hung Infront of lanterns of a otherwise dark room, candles placed strategically to light up the bar and where the liqueur and other "favours" might be stashed.

"Charlieeee" dart half slurred.

"Yessir?" Charlie the barkeep responded shuffling over quickly, his greying hair bouncing at the back,a slight shine of his balding head in the candle light.

"Moree rumm please" dart asked sliding the glass over toward him,

"Very good sir" Charlie fetched the bottle and poured a glass.

"I'm sure who your waiting for is soon to arrive sir" he said gently with his ageing voice.

"I hope so Charlie... I'm... Something..."

"Bored sir?"

"With you? Never!"

Kent wakes up. It takes him a while though. A while to awake, a while to realize his awake, a while to get out of bed and dress. After that it takes him a while to stare at the floor and decide to skip doing pushups today. For the twenty-seventh time. He goes to the only table in his room, his desk, and gathers some things - a pencil, a pink notebook and a purple notebook. Taking the three items he puts them in his satchel, right beside the glass bottle filled with water he always carried around for some reason. He checks his satchel over, making sure everything is there, before heading to the cafeteria.

"Yawn" she said aloud, not really yawning but thought it might get a laugh out of someone. He soft white hair covering her silver eye as she shuffled up before she wandered over to the wardrobe in her room and got changed into something more suitable for day activities. (Not really sure what this is place is like... Is it some sort of school or something? Or a prison?)

Pfft. School. More like a prison, if you ask me.

No chains. Odd. Well. Bad for appearances. Still though. Tight guard. Keeping people out or in? Same difference.

The open top carriage hit a rougher patch in the packed gravel road, and the jolt shook the young man in the orange blindfold into a different train of thought.

Dawn. Best time of the day.

He looked up, drinking the hues of the morning glow that wreathed the city in dappled gold and orange, and his mind began to wander once again.

The sunrise here in Kawlii is almost as beautiful as it is in the Badlands. I guess no matter where you are, it's always the same star. I think there's something to be said for that.

Just wha-

Another jolt of a different kind derailed his thinking as the colossal structure of the Academy loomed before him, blotting out the sun and casting the gentle switchback the carriage was in into faint shadow.

Naturally. Nothing intrudes quite like the Spectrum.

The carriage continued a few meters more up the road, passing well manicured lawns fresh with dew and guardsmen in the distinct armor of Kawlii Academy. A few students flitted across the stone paths that arced gracefully across the open area, and groundsmen clipped away at the multicolored beds of exotic flowers. The scents of a dozen different breakfasts wafted through the air, from spicy cinnamon to bitter coffee to the warm hint of pepper. As the blindfolded young man's keen nose tried to sort out the rainbow of sensations, the carriage stopped and a guard unlatched the back of the carriage, extending the small stepladder and gesturing at the carriage's occupant.

Alright. Time to see how gullible they are.

Grasping for a hand to help him down, he staggered down the ladder and massaged his sore legs, cracked his back experimentally, and looked obliviously away from the guardswoman holding the roster in front of him.

"Adrian Bryant," she said in the fluting accent of Kwalii's upper crust, "I see you've returned."

Been returned. Against my will.

"Because of your," there was a slight, disdainful pause, "absence, we will have to board you in the school's detention zone until we decide how best to reintegrate you into the Academy."

Of course. It's a school and a prison. Why not both?

"You should know that it is school policy that we destroy any personal effects that unsponsored students bring with them." Her tight-lipped smile was audible. "I think we'll start with that ridiculous blindfold. Hand it over."

Oh HELL no.

The sun was shining brightly behind the wrinkled curtains of Isolde's windows. She forced herself up from her bed and stood up, maybe a little too quickly which led her to stumble a bit from dizziness. She leaned up against her dresser to gain balance.

She drowsily rubbed her eyes and yawned.

So darn tired..And ugh, my back hurts. That fall from yesterday sure left it's mark...

After having spend an annoyingly long time brushing her unruly hair and tying it into a low bun, she began changing into her usual outdoor attire and finally got ready to walk outside.

Sandra's grey eyes suddenly squinted at the burning ray of sunshine filtering through the thin paper wall of her room, but her breath, for minutes, remained as paced as it was in sleep. Mechanically, her short, but strong body stretched, her little white toes nearly touching the edge of the mattress in an effort to relieve the whole's aches.

Again she made a deliberate and planned movement, of the palm of her hand to the floor, fingers pointing past her head towards the rest of the body. Using the support, she twists her lithe frame into an upright position facing the drawer and begins to dress in the Academy uniform.

While her strenuous exercises were by no means required in any way, Sandra understood even before her arrival at the Color Academy of Kawlii a month before that power resided with the powerful- or, at least, those once powerful enough to have drown all other voices or weapons enough to crush all opinions to the contrary of how the world should be. This didn't mean that the student was actually plotting an individual revolution but the protection of what is already here. While she felt no love towards the Council, she too felt no love to those who sought to disrupt the social order; as was her belief that reform, not violence, was the proper course for positive change. Therefore, she dedicated herself to work to become able to protect what was capable of good, and if needed, sacrifice whatever is necessary of herself to prevent another cycle of evil.

She finishes with the buttons. Exiting the dormitories, she enters the cafeteria and selects a simple piece of bread and chicken once at the front of the line, sitting by herself, she simply eats.

Kent makes his way over to the cafeteria. After getting a proper meal of sweet porridge and a glass of milk he scans the room, finding a few of his friends around a table, he heads over to sit next to them. The breakfast is quiet, however, as most of them are too tired to think out any conversation topics. After quite quickly downing his breakfast Kent heads out of the cafeteria, towards the Pink Hall.

"Yawn" she said aloud, not really yawning but thought it might get a laugh out of someone. Her soft white hair covering her silver eye as she shuffled up before she wandered over to the wardrobe in her room and got changed into something more suitable for day activities. "Obviously the door is locked..." She mumbled as she tugged on the door handle "i guess i got up too early for their liking. I swear, this place is like a bloody prison!" She shuffled back to her bed and thought about all the events leading up to her current predicament. "I was born, lived, and then a year ago i gained some strange powers. Some guys found out about it when i went to a lake and went swimming... F****** perverts... Then i was tranquilized or something and brought here." She said aloud, she often talked to herself out of boredom, not caring if people thought she was mad. If anything she found it quite relaxing and helped her come up with something to do next (re-did first post)

there was a sense of urgency in the air as guards patrolled,

Rumours emerged of murder within the council.. And even more rumours surrounded the spectrums location,

Students went to eat or to their coloured hall for lessons,

But the council of colours were about to meet.. All but two members.

Councillor Byrne sat looking over gathered Intel, he speculated that sending a small army on rumours for artefacts is foolish.. But if this information is true.. It would be most beneficial to Aquire.

"The succubus..."

After all this time it's remerged from the shadows of over a hundred spectrums past.. Such power out there in the hands of utter fools!!

"Imbeciles!......

Filthy peasant shit covered maggots!" Byrne was shouting at nothing, his personal guard knew nothing was wrong but she peeked a glance through the open door.

"Tala!" Byrne shouted still calming down.

" I won't attend the next meeting, read over this and take my place.. you know, the usual.."

"Yes lord Byrne" replied Tala before she took the note quickly and left quietly.

Dart had sobered up a bit in the tavern and was recounting stories.

"Did I tell you how I met mirrum??"

"Yessir, twice sir,"

"Wanna hear it again?"

"Yessir, third times the charm I hear"

"Well there I was in federation territory grey wood..."

As usual outside in town, people were pretty much busy with their working routines, and caught up in their own affairs.

A warm aroma of newly baked pastries went through the atmosphere, as Isolde walked its streets and finally finding a decent bakery to buy breakfast from.

After having bought the bread, she went towards a more quiet alley and began climbing up a large building, of course when no one was looking and found herself a nice spot on a roof with stunning scenery.

Down under, childrens laughter could be heard in the nearby, as well babies crying while thereafter being hushed by their mothers and lots and lots of other noises from people talking.

She observed the view silently, while beginning to absorb the yellow color of everything she could get from sight. She had lesser luck with the grey hues, as it was more difficult for her to take in.

She eventually sat down, taking bites of the bread, letting her thoughts go freely, until she spotted a small butterfly.

The cute butterfly had a bright yellow color and black on its edges, as it flew away.

How lovely it looks.

She smiled to herself and took in the slight bit of yellow hue it had.

A man entered kawlii, a man named Samuel kork from the United federation.

smartly dressed in dark colours, facial hair brushed and trimmed neatly.. His own personal guard leading and following the man.

"We have much to do tobi" the smart looking man recounts, his walking cane looked expensive.. But he had no physical hinderance..

Tonaye or "tobi" if you go by Samuel, answered"Ay sir.. Very busy.."

"Tobi I was being rhetoric you needn't agree or repeat me"

"Aye sir you was being rhetoric, I needn-"

"Ok ok geez.. By grey woods wall I swear you do this on purpose.."

Tonaye had a grin, his cousin behind Samuel also had a grin

Tonaye you funny fuck.

Samuel headed toward the pink silk tavern, he sat at a table on the ground floor while Tonaye and tohmas fetched drinks and food.

Lucy made her way to the canteen, ate, alone, told the occasional flirty boy to f*** off, mostly because she enjoyed messing with people. She made her beasts slightly bigger using her grey magic, cackling inwardly before finishing off her breakfast and wandering towards the green hall. She already knew all the soldiers and teachers around the area knew about her grey abilities but it was fun to mess around with the other students. As she walked she looked at the grayness of the sky and re-stocked her hue before sitting down, alone in the hall as she was fairly early (so... When do we start meeting up or do we time-skip to after classes?)

A green sub teacher noticed the grey hue Lucy was using.

"Lucy how many times have we got to tell you?"

Deirdre snuck behind her to surprise the young woman.

"You should only use talent when needed.. I don't wanna see you turn into a slaz just for playing jokes aha"

Her green eyes bright and her smile subtle, like looking at a young girl wearing mummy's make up to seem grown up.

Dart had gone outside the tavern for some fresh air,

He cracked his back and neck

"Have I been in there all night?" Fuck that's why I'm tired

Her face went a bright pink as she negated her magic again. "S-sorry... I was just... Practising" she mumbled, her face glowing with embarassment after being caught out by the teacher.

"Was it that noticeable..?" She asked. She was fairly lonely surprisingly given all the attention she got, no doubt she was an attention seeker, but the wrong sort of attention seemed to find her, so she decided to embrace and laugh about it, sadly, doing this resulted in everyone thinking of her as an ass considering she made fun of everyone that even approached her

Dierdre laughed softly, "if you try and attempt a larger bust size I'm sure you'll topple over forwards, we're lucky you weren't picked up by slavetraders or the guild, they would be the ones making you 'practice' such techniques"

Samuel read over his letter again

Blah blah find Isolde, blah blah guild contact.

Blah blah academy,

Tohmas and Tonaye stood guard outside the tavern, tohmas pointed at dart and whistled to Tonaye, then pointed further up toward the rooftops to a woman eating breakfast.

"Aye, let's just stand ere though.. Let sir worry about it.. We just guards."

"Aye were guarrds"

Lucy simply grunted as she buried her head in her arms. "One can only get better if they practise" she hummed into her arms. "And I'm sure I would've been able to escape from them, unlike this place. It's like a bloody prison here" she said in an attempt to change the subject ("prison" is now a running joke(> :) ))

The teacher laughed and spoke with a smile before heading toward her podium,

"Believe me little lulu, you haven't seen a prison.. But if you feel that way I welcome you to take the day off, hell the week if you want.. Come back and tell me all you learned"

Once at her podium she began basic theory on how green hue is used for construction, walls, armour, weapons, tools,

"Try whatever you feel comfortable in making, I know everyone is on different levels of ability, it's why we have classes" Deirdre smiled warmly to the assembled green talents.

Green banners hung from the wall for students to use hue, light flooded the white stone and marble room providing optimal environment for practice.

"Same challenge from last month, anyone who impresses me with green hue can choose green goggles or glasses"

A few students made noise and started practice, looking at the green banners filling themselves with talent they each tried making something, clubs, maces, bricks, hammers, one creative soul tried making nails, almost worked to, more suited if he had blue talent as well as green,he didn't tell the kid who did have both talent...

She soon finished her piece of bread and continued to sit and watch her surroundings.

She had this uneasy feeling that someone was out there watching her.

Perhaps i havent been careful enough, she thought.

Her intuition have been helpful in many situations, and it might even be right this time as well.

Using her stealth, she quietly and skillfully climbed down from the building, and pulled down her grey hood further over her face.

She looked around, trying to spot anyone suspicious looking while staying in the shadows of the corners

Lucy took this as some sort of insult that she was lazy and decided to be the one to impress the teacher, she took in as much talent as she could and began working on her object, after quite a while of struggling and panting while she worked on it. She finally summoned a glowing green chestplate of armour. She flopped onto her seat while hugging the armour. "Jee... I guess i need to practise my green magic too... But i suppose even just a chest plate isn't bad right..?" She asked thin air. The chestplate itself was pretty plain, no spectacular parts on it but it felt quite strong @Flowiest

She would see two men dressed in a variant of United federation guard armour, standing outside the pink silk tavern, and a man in spectrum blackguard uniform stretching his legs a bit further from them.

A few people moving about their daily lives, delivering ingredients, supply, eating, just average stuff.

Two other students had made something similar to Lucy,

One even stood up to copy his father, forming the hue on himself to make green hue boots and leggings, he could barely walk.

The teacher looked around at everyone before breaking the boys club and the boys leggings before he fell over and snapped his shins.

"Decent attempts, but go for quality over quantity"

she lifted her head toward the banner her hand glowed green as she absorbed the colour and light.

She placed a thick ten cm squared block of pure green sturdy hue, if you was to hold a block to the light you would see through it like green glasses, crystal clear.

She formed five more exactly the same and placed them ontop of each other.

"Anyone who can break two of them may win.."

A man in academy courier garbs came to the door and requested the teacher,

"When I'm back I'll see what you've done, no being stupid or dangerous," she walked off quickly with the man.

Lucy groaned. "How am i supposed to break five huge solid blocks of green hue with a chestplate... I suppose i have to make something else.." She sighed as she set to work on something. By the time the teacher came back Lucy was holding a rather large, green hammer . Heavy enough that she could barely hold it above her head. She swung at the small green cubes for ages, chipping away at them until she had destroyed two. "How... Do... You like... That... Teacher..." She said in-between breaths, her arms tired from all the swinging

"Your blindfold. Now, please."

Like hell.

"Mr. Bryant, I will not ask again-"

"You sure," Bryant interrupted, bouncing a little on his heels, "you want to do this?"

The guardswoman smirked and crossed her arms knowingly. "I could ask you the same thing, Mr. Bryant. Students do not talk back to guards." Her expression softened a hair. "Having your personal effects removed might seem unfair, but rules are rules. The Academy can issue a replacement if it's so important to you."

Huh. She's reasonable.

And kinda cute.

"Alright, miss...?"

"Lance Sargent Ripley." She raised her eyebrows a fraction. "That's Sargent to you, student."

Ah, well.

"Yes ma'am. Take me away."

Emphasis on the take me. Heheheh.

"Not so fast, Mr. Bryant. Blindfold?"

Gah.

"Alright, alright" he said, unwrapping the weatherbeaten strip of orange cloth and handing it over. Without it, the word was in incredible, orangeless focus; the lack of that warm color was a little upsetting, but the sharp clarity of the unblocked world was impressive. The blindfold was more than just a way to get orange hue, though. It was a symbol. One he would have to do without for now.

He looked up, and the brilliant orange of his eyes dazzled the Sargent, causing her to madly quake with their piercing, sexy gaze. Or so he would've liked. Really she just looked boredly bemused. Hell, she was probably thinking about her day, or her boss, or about hanging out with her coworkers later. Maybe it was game night. Oh well.

"Want me to take my clothes off too?" Bryant asked with a wink. Ripley just wrinkled her nose and pointed toward a squat building shaded by a few gnarled trees to the northeast.

"That's the Detention Center. Guardsmen Jayne and Logan-" she gestured at the two guards present with her chin- "will escort you there. Fran will set you up with an academy uniform and take your old equipment off your hands. You should receive a schedule within the next day or two. No fighting, no leaving campus, no using your Talent without permission." She walked towards the marble entrance of the Admissions Hall and stopped, looking over her shoulder and holding the blindfold out in her armored hand. "I'll make sure you get this back, Bryant. If you behave. See you around campus."

And with that, she strode into the Hall.

Amanda was awake, she has been since midnight. She already changed her clothes to a simple yet elegant black dress, with a skirt connected to it. She was sitting down in the corner of the room petting Gerald. "Today is beautiful, isn't it Mr Gerald?" She let go of the ferret, and it went over to the bed. It stood up on its hind legs and was obscenely tall enough to grab onto the covers and climb up onto the bed. It went to the pillow and then started pressing it's paws against the pillow, before it raised the covers up and then went under Neath it. Only sticking it's head out and lying down on the pillow. Amanda stood up and closed the curtains. "Now you rest Gerald. I'm going to get something to eat." She opened the door and left. She started walking down the hall.

"Shaded in the sunlight,

Living in the moonlight

Having a wonderful time!"
