I like the reunion idea but instead of it being a "reunion" of sorts may be one kingdoms could hold a council meeting in order to discuss what to do about the impending darkness.

That's what i meant, but is naive to think that if they can't stop fighting between them they'll get to an agreement. Yeah the dark masters are a threat but i doubt that people like the pendragon king are going to ally with my fairies or the human royalty with magic

Well yeah. I didn't mean that it would be an easy council, They are going to be at odds with each other to determine how to solve the issue. I just thought it would be the easier way to get some fo the characters together.

I agree with Jel.XP No the meeting/meetings if we're being honest won't be easy or possibly even civil but the kingdoms will have to work together to get rid of the darkness. And it will add tension and drama and will be good writing material. IMO

What the hell with that corvina le fay?

First, her background has major issues. Everyone would have noticed her stealing souls, fairies sense magic and magical signatures. I won't even start on how her magical signature would be since her using dark magic is obvious enough to any fairy. (Also, why on earth was a fairy born with low magical power? It's like against their nature)

Second, why is she not pulverized by light magic? If she's allowed to be that powerful to the point of reality warping then only physical weakness and losing powers if she loses the gem (both which will never happen because she's ridiculously magically powerful aside from even being a fairy) it's not enough

Third, what the hell? Again! Fix this monster please.

So the darkness from what I could gather affects those who's magical and morally bad/corrupeted?

Both my characters I consider to be morally bad (especially Nell) so are they going to be affected or is there another element to it?

I would suggest a region along the coast become plagued or infected with corruption "darkness". This could be a bicentennial event that only documented in ancient tomes and history books. The corruption comes from beyond an unexplorable region of the ocean, and perhaps some villages of one of the nations could've been lost to this initial infection.

Acknowledging the threat it poses to everyone, this could bring the nations together despite their differences.

And perhaps following this incident a lot of individuals from unrelated places turn up displaying symptoms although they've never travelled to the village or came in contact with anyone hailing from there, appearing to threaten magic folk too amd the situation is gradually worsening as it slowly becomes an issue for each individual kingdom.

You're still mentioning fairies instead of elves in her background (which i know is a simple mistake, i'm just letting you know about it)

Anyway i don't think that a character that can destroy the world with just blinking should be controlled by anyone other than 4scorelightnings

It should be her job to nerf that... Thing, you call Corvina Le Fay (That should be a Boss instead of a playable character in my opinion)

She can't destroy the world with just the blink of an eye. Yes she's powerful but she's not end the world powerful. If Moonchitch tells me to change her I will until then she will stay as she is.

Yeah i'm not the owner, so what? I'm allowed to have an opinion. Especially when 4scorelightnings has established that powerful characters shouldn't be able to abuse their power since is unfair to everyone else

Neo Alice : Alright, so I understand if you don't like the way a certain player has created a character. But you are absolutely right. That is MY job, as the CREATOR of this roleplay, to take action. The fact you tried to command this person to change their own character is completely out of place: like you said, that is the creator's job, and the character is still a wip, and even so has MORE weaknesses listed along with their abilities than your fae. The fact PhantomSamurai has tried balance it out to the best of their ability, IT'S STILL A WIP , and was nice enough to tweak things to a random player's preference in the roleplay was honestly really considerate of them. But it's honestly not your place to try and dictate that.

If at a point when the character is FINISHED, and I feel like it is unbalanced or more or less powerful than other magical species, it's MY job to say something. If at some point in the roleplay, I feel like their character is an overkill, that is ALSO my job love.

Secondly, you may be new to this site, but using words like "monster" and "abomination", and disrespecting another player's creation, REGARDLESS of how you feel, is NOT okay, especially in a roleplay by me. I do not tolerate any type of disrespectful words like that to any characters a person has worked to create.

Please consider apologizing, and if you want to continue with this roleplay, please have complete respect for other characters. If you don't like their character, run it through by me, or tell me your opinion without being disrespectful. Please do not automatically demand them to change it. Thank you.

Second i did not order him to do anything, he did it on his own after i commented about fixing it. I only got involved because it had lore issues about fairies, major ones, that needed to be fixed. And so i tagged you first because of it, i know it is your job and i was just explaining my point of view (If i was "commanding" him to do something why would i tag you in the first place?)

Before i even said anything about the character it only had 2 weaknesses: The Gem and Close Combat. So is a lie that my Faes have less weaknesses than Corvina since even the Queen has 4 (Iron, Poison, Fire and physical) see?

Commanding someone doesn't mean you are hiding it. You tagged me, but you still blatantly told PhantomSamurai to "fix this monster". Again, why are you telling them what to do, even if you aren't "DEMANDING" it? That is still going over the creator who is the only one who should take action.

Like I said in the last post, their character is still a work in progress. You have the right to have an opinion about it, but to tell them to change it without letting me know before, calling it names, and not even allowing them to finish the sheet is not okay regardless of how you look at it. Like I said, PhantomSamurai did not even have to be considerate to another player's opinion on a WIP, but did so and added at least 4 weaknesses. I even asked them about. Their character cannot catch souls unless they kill the person, and to kill a person they already be (1) very weak, and (2) easily corrupted by darkness.

Again, f you want your opinion to be known about ANOTHER character and you want them to CHANGE it, please run it by me.

Okay, well since you were talking about their character and questioning their character, it's completely misleading for you to direct me with that question right after, and it still very rude to say monster, abominable, and other words. Please just apologize, and next time when a character is not your own, just tell me in a respectful way through messages why you have problems with it, especially when the roleplay hasn't even started and the character is a WIP. If I see a problem I will say something myself. Thank you.

So if someone wants to bend or change something to fit a cool plot line there's nothing wrong with that. And the world we are playing in isn't Earth. Its a made up world and so everyone is allowed to make stuff up. If 4scorelightnings says "Hey, this doesn't fit with the lore of the world that I have made" then that's one thing.
