Fantasy The Random Hotel

Nerissa walked sheepishly up to a front desk where she saw a man. "He-hello" she nervously spoke aloud to the man."Could i get a room please?" she asked politely to the man at the front desk. The man just nodded and handed her a room key. "4205" She read the number from the key aloud." Um, thank you..." Nerissa searched the man for a name tag of some kind "Gu" she read in hesitation. "I'll just be going to my room now..." she mumbled aloud. With that she went up the stairs to try and locate her room. After a while of searching for her room she finally arrived in front of a hardy looking door with the number "4205" chiseled in some type of metal. "I guess this is the room" she said as she pulled the key from her front jean pocket. She quickly slid the key into the lock and opened the door with ease. Inside she was greeted with a pretty standard hotel room. A bed, a dresser and some some other miscellaneous furniture items. Nerissa noticed a deck tucked into the corner and padded lightly over to it. She then begun emptying out the contents of her pockets onto the deck. "Let's see what i have in my pockets today" Thought Nerissa aloud. On the deck she placed a small black leather wallet,a key ring, and some lint. She placed her room key onto her key ring and sat it down with satisfaction. "I'm getting pretty tired" she yawn aloud. With that she slid up into the bed and quickly entered into a deep slumber.

Sha'tana nodded endlessly as Luna spoke of her past. She twisted her lips to the side when Luna exposed her wound. "Ouch," she said in response. When Luna finished her story, Sha'tana cocked her head, "I don't think you'll hurt your family. You seem to have self control."

She spoke in a serious tone. "I'm sure they miss you." Sha'tana attempted to eat her sunny-side-up eggs, but failed miserably. "Well, it was nice talking to you." She said with a grin. "I'm going to check up on my Hotel." She gave Luna a wink and began to walk off towards the reception. She found an indecisive girl standing at the entrance of her hotel. She seemed to be looking in the direction where Luna & Sha'tana were speaking. She wanted to greet her new guest Nerissa, but she quickly went to her room. Uff.. she must have been tired... Sha'tana thought. "Everything good thus far, Gu?" Both him and his shadow nodded simultaneously. She smiled happily then went off to the Cork Bar, "Its quiet today, no?" Mr. Algor nodded in agreement.

Ezekiel nearly kicked the front doors open. "GU. I'm back, some tosser taking my room?" Gu looked a bit startled, Gu never really liked Ezekiel for his personality. "Yes.. Sir Serafino. Room 48 is open.. No cats.. The windows will be blocked" Gu sighed before continuing "And the portal sign of yours is still there.. Sir." Ezek cracked a big smile completely oblivious of Sha'tana. "Good. I'll be at the bar for now."

Ezekiel relocated himself quickly to the bar. "Algor! Better dead than red. Give me the usual. Still being smokefree? I'm not. Just going to get a loosey. That demon wasn't happy about what I did to his domain." Ezekial struck a match and lit the cigarette in his mouth. Algor stared at him before speaking up. "Mister Ezekiel. Miss Sha have multiple times told you that smoking is not permitted in the hotel.." ezekiel stared Algor dead in the eyes "You manky plonker. I've been through s**t and P**s In a demons home. If I want a Cig I goddamn want one!"

"Is that so, Mr. Serafino?" She placed her elbow on the counter and rested her chin on her red palm. She took Ezekiel's cigarette, and crushed it in with her free hand. "If you have trouble complying with the rules of the hotel..." she paused to think of what to say next. She tapped her finger lightly on the side of her cheek. "I have a special room. You don't want to know what's so special about it." She purposefully made a laugh that seemed evil. "What are you having?" she gave him a wink. "Its on me." Mr. Algor looked frightened. His ghostly figured faded against the shelves of winery, but Sha'tana knew he was still there; he has no choice.

"argh..." Ezekiel turned around and gave a half-hearted smile "Sha'tana.. Beautiful weather. Did you get a new haircut?.. Or polished the nails.." He sighed "You know I'll always find a way to escape your rooms.. A few weeks, a year at most..." He went silent for a short moment before looking at Sha'tana again. "Whiskey." He said in a low voice "Just a single malt this time though.." He said again in the low voice while giving a more full-hearted grin. "Did ya' miss me?"

Casey ate her breakfast, stood up, and stretched. She felt like going to the beach, and debated whirlwinding herself there. This place seemed to be somewhere where she could show her powers, but she still wasn't quite sure. About then, a man with a somewhat ugly face, a cigar, and light hair barged in to the hotel, startling her. He quickly went to the bar, and ordered something from the bartender, Algor. Algor insisted that he should not be smoking, as it wasn't allowed in the hotel. The man disagreed very loudly.

Casey, herself, was inclined to take Algor's side. She hated smoking. It was an impurity to Djinn, whose fire was smokeless, and it clogged up their lungs like it did humans. Plus, it smelled awful.

Ajax woke up slowly, Christ it must be midday, he went into the other room and adorned his attire, jamming his sack of coins in his pocket and sliding his rapier into its' proper place at his side. Ajax wearily walked out the door, then locked it behind him. He stumbled over to the bar, because he really needed a drink. Once he got over there he passed right by Ezekiel and Sha'tana and climbed the tallest chair there and sat. He grumbled, "Gents" in the direction of Ezekiel and Sha'tana. He held up three digits on his left hand and yelled,"Pints!". The order came shortly and Ajax began to casually drink the beverage. I'm not in a rush, if there's one thing I have right now, it's time.

Casey silently cheered on Sha'tana, and thought to herself that if Ezekiel even tried to circumvent the rules, she would blow up his cigarettes. Cigarettes are small, so it would take nearly nothing out of her.

"Don't flatter me," She said dryly, rolling her eyes when Ezekial was attempting to change the subject. She chuckled when he admittedly knew he might end up in one of her special rooms. Those would be the days he'd find himself sober. Which she imagined that he hated. Finally, he gave in to his addiction, alcohol. Sha'tana gave Mr. Algor a look; his spirit shifted within the shelves that held several beverages. "Did I miss you?" she shrugged, "Just try not to get too rowdy, Mr. Serafino." Sha'tana did not trust Ezekial one bit. She felt obligated to be around him, especially when he's by a bar. Sha'tana was tired of sticking out like a sore thumb with her red skin, so she melted her bright red skin into her humanly, soft, peachy skin. Her human side was suddenly thirsty, "Algor, Corona for me." Sha'tana saw Ajax coming in their direction, "Hey, you." She never got his name. "Sorry, I couldn't make it to the Jacuzzi with you guys." She referred to Ajax and Laurel (The name he gave to the green haired girl).

Luna walked by and gagged at the smell turning towards the bar and saw her taking out the cigar. guessing by the tone those two were speaking they were familiar with each other. then seeing Sha'tana in her human form she breathed a small "she looks lovely..." though ghe shook her head blushing. the woman was likely not interested in her and way older.

Sky walked out into the hallway cautiously, wondering if anyone had heard her play. Satisfied that no one was around, she decided to pay a visit to the bar. Even though she looked only 17, she loved a good whiskey and needed a drink. Many people were there already, so she took a seat at the far end of the bar.

"Bourbon," she demanded of the bartender, who nodded and began mixing her drink. She kept her eyes on the wall or her hands, again avoiding any conversation.

Ezekial noticed all of the different people around. "Oi.. Seems like theres business blooming here again." He looked around "Ay... Half-ling," Ezekial sniffed in the air then looked at the young girl and slowly nodded with a skeptic look in his eyes. His eyes gazed further to the far end of the bar. It wasn't easy for him but he could identify that she was atleast a vampire.. Eh. Ezekiel nodded to Sha'tana. "Well ladies and gentleman." He smiled to the room. "I am Ezekial Serafino, pleasure to meet you all." He grinned, he was to tired to talk with any of them and just needed some rest. "And I'm a magician. My first act.. Teleportation.." He grinned again before stamping his feet on the ground creating a small ward around him. "It was quit the pleasure, ladies. And a cheery honor to you sir!" Ezek stamped again and disappeared in a blue flame.

"Oh jolly.. My room." He looked around and sighed "I think I should get some sleep... Before I.. Meet this new people.." Ezeke threw himself on the bed and quickly fell asleep.

Ajax shrugged at the man's parlor trick, unimpressed. I've got a scroll in my room that does the same thing. He took another gulp on his drink and finished the first pint, he felt woozy, but felt he could get another down. He started on the second then said made a loud, "Meh". He wasn't exactly at his best.

she looks over to Ajex "hey you alright? your not looking so hot..." she said concerned about him. especially since just yesterday she helped saved her.

"He's just drunk too much," Sky said to Luna, smirking at the tipsy Halfling. "Give him a slap or poor some cold water on him. That should help." She chuckled and turned away, accepting her drink from the bartender. It tasted amazingly refreshing, unlike any she's ever had before.

Ajax turned to the girls, a confident glint in his eyes. He grinned and said, "Grobble graag trughat." (Drunken babble). Ajax reeled back in his chair a bit and finished the second pint. Maaan, I English so f*cking good. Ajax thought to himself, making a grab for the third glass.

"ah i see..." she says. she has seen some guys who've gotten drunk but never so fast. but then again he was pretty short so probably wasn't that hard to quickly get drunk. looking over to the bartender "a coffee for my halfling friend please." she orders and he soon givesit to him though shivers slightly from the sudden coldness as his hand met/semi-passed through hers and she gives it to him before he gets majorly drunk.

Both drinks in hand, he realized he probably didn't have enough room in the tank for both. He swigs another half pint and places the hot beverage onto the chair beside him. He stares at the bar for a minute, then begins his stumble to a location he wasn't sure of yet.

Sha'tana was relieved to find Ezekial off to bed. She sighed in relief. Now, she can truly relax. "Woah!" Sha'tana said in surprise, "Is that you?" she said to Ajax, still uninformed of his name. "Umm... let me get my robots to help escort you to your room." She gestured at Gu; he dialed the customer service extension and called for 15 and 11 to help with Ajax. Sha'tana went off to her room and changed into her one-piece, black bathing suit. She took a large blanket and was off to the beach. The sun was setting. It was a perfect time to relax before Ezekial wakes up and misbehaves as usual.

Appearance:

Ajax was escorted to his room by the bots, throwing a fit about how carrots don't help your eyes at all the entire way. He opened the door and locked it behind him. He crashed headfirst into his bed for the first time in two nights, he fell asleep without trouble.

Sha'tana stretched out her blanket then neatly placed it on the ground. She laid down facing the direction of where the sun was setting. Without realizing it, Sha'tana fell into a slumber. The warmth of the air and the soothing beach-breeze was the perfect medicine to Sha'tana's relaxation. As she slept, he skin changed to its natural red form.

after seeing him go off to his room alright decides to head to the beach herself never seeing the ocean as she grew up in Colorado. she sits near Sha'tana though still in the ratty tank top and shorts as she didn't bring any swimsuits of her own to the hotel or when she was runing and gazed in wonder at it. "so that's the ocean huh? it goes on forever." she said in wonder and a bit of awe.

"Hmm? Huh?" Sha'tana's sleepy eyes opened up. She saw Luna sitting at her side, "Hmm.. hi." She spoke in a very relaxed manner. "The ocean is not eternal, but it is practically 70% of the Earth, I believe." She sounded like she was on some sort of drug from how relaxed she was. She stretched her arms and legs simultaneously and sat up. "God, I love naps." She smiled sleepily. "Well, now is a good time as ever to share my story." She gave Luna a nudge.

Appearance:

her ears perked up at full attention. she was paying close attention yo the woman somewhat curious but also feeling the tale might sound like her own. "alright. well if you ever feel like you can't keep going just let me know alright?"

Sky decided to walk up to the roof of the hotel where no one would be. In order to remain as unseen as can be, she used this time to transform into her feline form. First, she went into an empty hallway and made sure no one could hear or see her. Then, she made the transformation. It was quick and painless, beginning with the fur sprouting all over her body, and ending with a tail emerging from her backside. The strangest part was her bones shrinking and changing into the form of a cat. Werecats did not look like normal cats. They were slightly larger and shaggier than a normal house cat. Her long, powerful feline limbs carried her to the roof in a short amount of time, and she curled up in the sun, out of the way of prying eyes.
