Just another one of those...
Sky woke up at the crack of dawn. I guess I'm too used to this. She rolled out of bed and jumped into the shower, loving the rhythmic drumming on her back. The shower wasn't necessary, but she couldn't get the smell of the wolf-girl out of her nose, and a shower often helped clear her sinuses. It wasn't that she disliked werewolves-she had a friend who was one about 50 years before-but she just could never get over how powerful their scent was. I wonder what I smell like to her, she thought. After getting out of the shower, she pulled a new pair of skinny jeans on and a black sweater over that. Then, she laced up her converse and grabbed her key, going out the door.
In the hallway, she shut the door behind her and locked it. She walked warily downstairs, on the lookout for other people. There's probably no one up at this time, she hoped, not wanting to get involved with anyone until after she ate. The receptionist smiled as she walked past and Sky nodded. As soon as she was out the door, she ran down the road to the nearest stretch of woods. Once there, she extended her teeth and went hunting.
