Hey Kath, I posted something hope its ok to just go get food lol. I think at this time food was more formal with sitting and stuff but i guess we can just get food. Also the fork hadn't really taken a hold yet (was just becoming a thing rarely in this time period) so everything was eaten by hand but I'm hoping we could hand wave it in.

I think the rule is that if it's been over three days you can feel free to start a new interaction, but it just depends on what you want to do

Hello, I posted a post. Hope the events make sense and is ok with you kath and snowstorm. With regards to the post, my idea, kath, was that before walking to the queen you could say something or get ready or do something idk what before going up there. Then we could present and see if anyone you want to invite to dinner is up there. I think a couple of people have nobles or noblewomen around who we could definitely interact with there if you want. Also if you want to have just dinner with us two that's fine as well. Whatever you want to do with it is fine. Also if you didn't like how I handled it let me know. I can definitely make changes.

It seems that the rescue plot is moving quite slowly after all which is actually the best considering that allows it to line up with the rest of the story as far as the passage of time goes. It seems that we are pretty dependent on each other as far as that goes too. If you or quadraxis201 have any ideas to spice things up along the way feel free to plug them here!

Yeah, I left some details kind of ambiguous in my posts so as to make sure that I wasn't accidentally hijacking the rescue plot or anything. As for possible plot points... I don't really have any significant ones off the top of my head. I did mention the possibility of Vincent speaking with wolves for additional guidance or something like that, perhaps to get hints as to who the group will find next, but that's nothing too major, and it seems to have been implied that the group is going towards Owen, anyway. At the end of the day, though, I'd say it's up to snowstormspawn what ultimately happens.

As far as posting goes, I might hold off for a very short while since I want to see where the rescue plot goes, first.

Oh no problem! That was great I think we got to the point where Walter knows about the meetings tomorrow which is useful and if startergomer doesn’t mind neither do I! I’ll reply when I get back from work later today in uhh.... 11 hours But it’ll be a nice long response again. That was fun!

As for spicing things up for the adventure trio, that depends on what we want to explore and what you envision the storm doing. Does the storm get worse and turn to freezing rain or even hail and halting them for a time? Are there worse things lurking in the storm? If they decide to go and see if they find any surviving Lokhan knights maybe another avalanche happens, or one of them could slip and fall and accidentally drag another or both down. That’s all I can think of at the moment.

Like I said, I can't really think of anything to contribute as of this moment. If I were to try, the only thing I could think of would be the group deciding to take a break at some point, but that does depend on how dire the situation really is and if it would be a good idea. If the break does happen, I could see it as a bit of an opportunity for Vincent to talk more about Illtharon, since I know Maris wants to know more, and I would indeed be willing to share in-post, since I like to world-build, myself.

Vestige quadraxis201 Whatever you guys feel like; honestly we could even add a horror element to it, but I’m trying to figure out how something like that could make sense with the rest of the story... Not sure. Maybe, just maybe, we could have them run into Wymond’s brother somehow and it turns out he’d come down to surprise him at the ball, and got trapped in the snowstorm himself? Just trying to think of how to make this more interesting....

I dunno if it works with what you have in mind or if it’d even work but maybe this supernatural storm haunted by supernatural spirits (like ice wraiths idk) or even possibly the storm causes them to start seeing hallucinations? Like they hear someone calling for help but there not being anyone there or some kind of siren/mimic thing (that either is a product of the storm or it was drawn in by it) luring them to it or even it just a by product of the storm progressing if that makes sense? They could either go way off course to even seeing each other as someone or something else? Even if Vincent is immune to that sort of illusion he’d have to wrangle two warriors who aren’t.

Ohhh yes! I didn’t want to do anything crazy like an army of frozen zombies marching on the castle or anything (though zombie apocalypse ball is a potential spinoff idea) but I love the idea of the visions and like, mirages in the storm!!! I especially like it because Wymond already sees things on occasion so that would be awesome. Like they’re both looking at him like “oh what’s wrong” and he’s like “oh just having a war flash back it’s nothing don’t worry about it” and then he sees like, his parents in the snow or something and he’s like “yeah that’s not a war flashback” lol
