Well usually ya wait for the GM to either comment about it or leave a reaction of some sort to confirm whether you're in. For most us, they left a like or a love to show that we were in.
And no worries, for most roleplaying on sites like these is like a new pair of shoes. It gets better with time.

I’m so happy to hear that! Also if you go to page two and scroll upwards a bit in this thread, there is a map of the current existing locations in the RP so you can see where all of our characters are from. You don’t have to but feel free to add the kingdom your prince is from onto that and draw the borders if you’re feeling creative, or if it’s off the map let us know which modern day country approximately he is from (: for example you’ll see that Mazamri is basically in modern day Egypt etc.

Hello, just had a quick question. I'm hoping my character can interact with some of the nobles in the ball. Is it possible to get a current list of who is at the ball (the main ballroom) right now? IDK if I'll talk to everyone just interested in that. Though I'm gonna be interacting with violet eclipse a bunch so that should be really fun. Also apologies Violet for being a little late on the update, some work stuff got busy lol.
When it comes to the ballroom I know Elizabeth and Adelina & Prince Rile are there, and the queen, otherwise it’s all miscellaneous unclaimed characters as far as I’m aware. I am debating full on claiming Adelina’s older brother the crown prince as well, just for the sake of balancing things out (lots of princesses) and because I have a feeling somebody else claiming him
wouldn’t be as productive for the plot. I can handle it
And that way I can work on a more intricate plot with

No pressure about plot details. I'm just hoping to interact with some people. Honestly, main goals are become friends with Cassandra, make some deals with some nobles, be awkward, shy, and confused lol, and maybe find a suitable courtship? I don't know. My character has like no skills for actually going out to solve mysteries outside of maybe talking to commoners. Otherwise, I'm not sure how useful I'll be to the plot.
Oh yeah those are all fair and good goals, for sure! I have an idea if he would be up for grabbing some food :3 What kind of deals is he looking to make? I might be able to incorporate that...
The mystery thing is totally optional though and if Walter is just along for the ride that's great! They're always needed.

I'm up for grabbing some food. In terms of deals, its mostly trade deals. Blackwood has excellent farming with fairly well managed crops as the leadership is actively interested in making the land better, more ecological etc. The main thing the province needs is manufactured goods, we don't have much industry at all, like 0 outside of some clothing, quality food, and achohol production. We basically just grow raw crops and raise animals. We need tools, and goods to harvest plant, and grow crops from more industrial or richer provinces. At least that was my rp. So getting those kinds of deals would be good.
Also, Walter is kind of looking for a courtship, sort of. Walter is getting on in age and getting past the point when its normal to get a wife (historically you could be as young as 14-16). Walter's father, before knowing walter, wanted the family to possibly marry up to gain in power. However, after the plague and in seeing walter, he kind of doesn't see that happening. Walter is to nice and honest for pure power. And Walter and his family aren't super connected and rich. Both Walter and his dad literally had no expectations of actually meeting someone here, its why walter went alone. Also why Walter hasn't considered it so far and why I wrote it such that it hasn't come up in Walter's thinking at all. But on the periphery the need is pressing. Sorry for length.

Thank you! I love the art you used for your character.
One last thing – the way we have the countries set up is like the European continent, but we use different names and borders for the countries. This is the current map so if you could let me know where to stick your kingdom, I can add it for you. I think the island above Beaumont where Britain would be might be a good place, and I know it looks like a desert right now but I can add grass and landmarks of course.

Ughhhhh, making a country is so difficult! Why did I have to make a prince! I'm writing so much just on the king and queen! I haven't even gotten to the country's resources or culture or religion or anything! I honestly don't even know how to write a country.
