Cheshire smiles and throws another silver flask at Grey. "Knock yourself out with that."

"Will you boys stop fighting. It's giving me a headache." I say standing between them.

Cheshire shrugs. "As you wish. How are you feeling?"

"A bit better. I don't know what happened." I walk over to him.

Minxy walked over to Melody. "Are you okay my dear?! Do you want me to get you a glass of water maybe?"

"Thank you. Minxy, your like a little sister i never had."

Cheshire stretches his neck and yawns. "This place is so weird."

"Tell me about it. How long was I out?"

"A few hours, I had time to wander this maze, couldn't find the kitchen though."

My stomach rumbles. "Well damn."

"Isn't there a maid here or something?"

"Grey where's the old lady?"

Minxy went to look for the kitchen. When she found it, she grabbed a glass and looked for water. There was only the faucet, hoping it had a purifier inside. She put the glass under the faucet and turned it on. As the water poured, she took a sip out of the glass to make sure it was safe. Minxy coughed as the water tasted disgusting. "Oh gawd. No"

"So this house is a place for the broken, a house of broken things? There's Minxy, Grey, You, the maid, some siblings, and me? Why are you here?"

"My parents died when I was young. I came here, well found here when I ran from the orphanage." I say tears filling my eyes

Cheshire pat Melody's shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?"

I can't stop and I collapse as memories of the car crash flood my head.

He gently pulls her into a hug.

"Cheshire, why are you here?" I say shakingly

He thinks for a moment. "I'm different from the others, you are all broken, but you never asked for it. I broke myself, I broke a lot of people, I guess I'm here to learn about brokenness."

"Will you fix my break?"

Cheshire kisses Melody's forehead. "No, sweetheart, I don't think I could do that."
