Koeri cowered into Harley trying to press her ears further into her head. As a child she was hypersensitive to loud sounds and overwhelming scents, much more than her older self was. She sniffled as she held on to the other little girl trying to make herself smaller as Bakugo yelled at his phone.

Todoroki groaned putting both his palms over his eyes as he paced around the room. He knew nothing about taking care of a grown adult let alone a child. What the hell was he supposed to do with a little kid? His phone dinged a few times with a few text messages. Shigaraki providing both advice and a warning that if they lose the kids they're dead. "Right." He agreed with Bakugo that they weren't going to harm them but continued to keep his distance. "How about we play a game? Will that make it less scary? You'll be princesses and-" He slowly approached them about to finish when Koeri interrupted him.

"You'll be knights! O-Or princes! I like games!" The little white-haired child perked up getting excited to play a game. "Hassan Hassan! We should play a game come on!" Her tail wagged behind her as an idea brewed in her head. "We have ta go to the fort home." She whispered in Harley's ear speaking of the playground with the tall fort on top of it that they used to play at as children. Swiftly, she crawled out from the opposite side of the table pulling the little blonde along and ran out the ice cream shop. For a pair of kids they moved pretty fast barefoot. "There see! We'll go and then be safety and then we can play on swings!" She said with a big smile as she led Harley through the streets, not really paying attention to where she was going.

"Wait-" Todoroki tried to get up faster but the two girls were already running out the door. "We have to think of them as what they are and treat them as such. Harley is a clearly traumatized little girl so we should probably avoid grabbing at her. Koeri is a literal puppy and puppies have the attention span of an infant. Shigaraki suggested we gain their trust by whatever means so they'll trust us more when they change back. He also suggested tiring them out because children apparently need constant stimulation and naps." He started looking around outside the ice cream parlor for the two girls, spotting them halfway down the road already. "We gotta catch them before someone else does."

Harley stopped Koeri as she pointed down a differnet street."Ko ko the park is that way remember of we go that way its creepy old man with his mean cat remember."Harley says to her friend."also remember what auntie always says about running in the streets.Dont run because you can trip and fall or hurt other people as you run past them.We have to be calm remember."She says.

Bakugou nods as he raced after the two girls with todoroki,He saw Harley talking to Koeri before he ran faster and scooped the two girls up as he sighed."Its dangerous for children to be by themselves let us take you to the park girls."He says calmly before handing Harley over to todoroki who arrived a moment after him.

"Right!" Koeri paused for a moment taking a deep breath to calm herself down. She remembered that she wasn't supposed to get too excited or she might transform. As a child she didn't have good control over her wolf form so when she transformed she was a lot more feral. Sometimes she even transformed at random. "I hate that mean cat. It always tries to bite me." She pouted as she followed the direction Harley pointed to before being snatched up. She started flailing a bit wanting to be reconnected with Harley but stopped when it appeared it wasn't working. "Who are you again?" Her head tilted looking up at Bakugo inspecting his facial features.

Todoroki sighed after having the little blonde shoved into his arms. "I'm Shoto and that's Katsuki. Remember? We're going to take care of you." He gently patted Harley on the head while bouncing slightly to keep her calm. They seemed prone to violence then fleeing and he wanted to try avoiding that while they walked to the park. "Katsuki said it's too dangerous to walk alone so you have to stay near us okay? Otherwise bullies might come to get you. We're uhhh... bully repellent." Being pleasant and childish friendly wasn't something he was good at. He only hoped he was able to appease the two small girls.

"Ohhhh I member! Shosho-san and Kat-san!" The little girl giggled as she played with Bakugo's cheeks. It wasn't unusual for her to make nicknames for everything. She cowered thinking that bullies could come get them, her body curling up into Bakugo as her tail tucked under her dress and ears flattened. "Hassan always protests me from bullies. They're big meanies and always pull my tail and my ears!" She started sniffling while holding her ears down. Harley was always there to protect her from the other kids who picked on her because of her animal-like features. They didn't think her quirk was as interesting as the rest of them because she wasn't allowed to use her other half without supervision.

Harley looked up at todoroki with a small blush on her cheeks.He patted her head gently and she smiled brightly at him."Shoto-nii."Harley says as she noticed he was being gently and not rough.She reached over to Koeri and pat her head,"be good and i will tell you the favorite story."Harley says to Koeri smiling.

Bakugou was taking notes on the girls reactions and communication before he finally got the hand of it.Even with Koeri pulling on his cheeks he was calm and patient.Once they got to the park he put Koeri down and kneeled infront of her patting her head softly,"if anything happens come get us okay but you and Harley go play and have fun."He says.

Harley squirmed to go play with Koeri and when she was put on the groubd harley ran off to follow the young pup.Harley was making sure Koeri wasnt getting hurt anf being a responsible child acting more like an adult than an actual child."hey you look just like the brat that lived next door to me and my stupid annoying adopted sister."A older boy says as he grabbed Koeris arm and yanked it.Harley ran over and bit his arm to make him let go.

"You damn brat!"He shouts before hitting Harley and laughing.Harley slid across the ground and got a couple cuts and bruises from him."You big bully leave Ko-ko alone!"Harley shouts as she got back up dispite being afraid and injured.Harley ran over as she started kicking at the teen who pushed her away again while going to reach for Koeris tail.Harley bit him again as she turned to Koeri and told her to go get the nii-chans.

Koeri warmed to the affections finding the boys to not be so bad. As soon as she was set down she scampered off with Harley to go play. They went down slides, attempted to climb the monkey bars but were too short, and raced around the underside of the jungle gym for a bit. As she was running around laughing and playing she was stopped abruptly having her arm yanked. She heard a distinct 'pop' as nearly dislocated her shoulder. He swung her around a bit while Harley bit him flinging both of them out of the way. The little girl whimpered holding her bruised wrist as she started licking at her wounds. Back when she was this young her regenerative abilities didn't fully sprout yet so it'd take a few days to heal things compared to the immediate response she had when she's older. She had bruises along her arm from where she rolled against the ground and a thick red handprint covering her wrist. The boy continued to attack the girls going for Koeri's tail as Harley tried to ward him off. The little wolf froze when he caught her lifting her up by the tail. All she could do was scream before he dropped her on the ground again. "O-Okay!" She ran off looking for the two boys, reluctant to leave Harley's side.

Todoroki sat on a bench the moment he set Harley down. They ran off not too far from his sight but they were constantly moving so it was hard to keep track. "What else do kids like? We're going to have to feed them at some point..." He groaned rubbing his temples. This must be what it's like to be a father. It was frustrating not knowing what to do but not to the point of driving him crazy. His father must have been far weaker than he thought if he couldn't handle something this when he had a partner. He perked up hearing Koeri scream. "Where are the girls?" He looked around spotting the sobbing wolf waddling up to them with her tail tucked between her legs. Her arms stretched out to Bakugo wanting to be lifted up as she cried.

As soon as he picked her up she started crying into him. "K-Katsu-nii..! The b-bully's bean m-mean-" She said between sniffles as she licked at her wounds. "Ha-Hassan got hurted-" She mumbled trying her best to make sense with all the crying. Todoroki's eye twitched as he looked around spotting the girl being harassed by an older boy. They were somewhat close in age, not more than a year apart.

He ran up and kicked the boy square in the chest. "What do you think you're doing?" He growled as his other foot planted firmly against the boy's wrist. "You picked the wrong day to be an ass. I already had a growing migraine and now you're bothering someone who happens to be under my protection." His weight shifted and he snapped the boy's wrist. "You'll suffer for this." Ice jutted out from his foot starting to cover over the boy's arm freezing half his body to the floor before he went to pick up Harley. There was tenderness and care with how he handled the child, inspecting her arms and face. "Don't be reckless like that little one. Next time let us take care of it. You could've gotten beaten worse than a few bruises." Her arm was littered with bruises and there was dirt all over her from rolling on the ground. Todoroki held her on his hip as he dusted her off and rubbed her head. Something within him didn't want Harley to see what he was going to do that man for laying a hand on her. He wanted to keep her from having to witness dark things like he did when he was a child, even though he knew she had already grown up in it. He brought her back over to Koeri on the opposite side of the playground while he bounced her lightly on his hip. "That asshole hit them. I couldn't do it with her watching." He said to Bakugo, using other words besides murder so he wouldn't frighten the girls.

Harleys eyes were blank and emotionless,a defense mechanism she developed to stop feeling pain unless it was far too extreme to handle.She didnt say anything to Todoroki but looked at Koeri,she held out a lolipop."Ko ko likes sweets it makes her happy."Harley says.

A man ran over to todoroki before punching him,"you fucking douche who are you to hurt my son.Wait a second Harley?"The man asks as harley looked over at him emotionless as her eyes began to cry.

"Shit."He says before turning to leave.Bakugou took Harley from todoroki and nodded at him while holding the young girls."Lets go get some treats okay."Bakugou says trying to distract the girls but he glanced at harley to see no reaction from her at all.

Bakugou could hear the mans pleads for help while he bought the girls crepes and sat at a table near the crepe stand with them.

Koeri continued crying even as she took the lollipop into her little hands. Her body was in pain, she was terribly frightened, and now she was hungry. She stuck the candy in her mouth after a few moments of struggling to open it with her bruised hand before trying to warn Todoroki.

Todoroki barely felt the punch having been too focused on protecting the little girl in arms. His eyes twitched ready to bite off the man's head as he took off. Bakugo took both the girls which meant he was free to do as he pleased. He took careful strides, not running after the man because there was no need. The ice that crept from his feet from the father in his tracks so it was easy to catch up to him. With a swift right hook he clocked the man right in the nose. "You seem to know the girl~ How interesting. So you must be the one who made her past so difficult." He flashed a devilish grin before freezing up his legs to his waist. "Since you took something precious from her, I'll just have to take something precious from you." He whispered before returning his attention the panicked boy still frozen to the ground. He proceeded to batter them both, starting with the son and ending with the father. Their cries for him to stop only filled his twisted heart with joy before he executed both of them. "Pathetic." He said as he spat on them before walking away. Blood stained his boots which he grimaced at knowing he'd have to get them cleaned later. He went to the playground restrooms to wash his hands of the freshly spilled blood so he wouldn't scare off the children.

"He.. He looked family.. Fa-Famil-iar.." She tried to sound out the word to the best of her ability between sniffles. Tears stained her plump cheeks while her ears flattened to her head. "M-My head hurts. M-y wits hurts." She whined between soft hiccups before starting to eat the crepe. Her wrist was throbbing with pain and her back hurt from having her tail yanked. She crawled into Bakugo's lap looking up at him with teary puppy eyes as she ate the crepe. The whipped cream started spilling all over her, getting on her cheeks and hands. Todoroki came and scooped up Harley, sitting the blonde on his lap while she ate.

"We need to leave the area..." He whispered.

Harley took a bit of the crepe before she turned to look at todoroki with her emotionless face and handed him the crepe.She didnt want to finish it.

Bakugou looked at him while wiping Koeris dirty hands and face."Yeah lets take them back to the headquarters.They caught the two that did this."He says as he picked Koeri up,"and they have the healer remember we can get the girls check out."Bakugou says.

Harley was silent as she looked at Koeri,"good pup you are a good pup."She mumbled over and over again trying to console Koeri.

Koeri destroyed the crepe before snuggling herself into Bakugo. Harley's words soothed her making her calm down from the earlier excitement. Her tail wrapped around her waist as she was lifted and her balled fist covered her mouth. She was slowly starting to drift off after exhausting herself with all that crying.

Todoroki took the crepe into his free hand as she stood up with Harley seated on his opposing hip. He popped the remainder in his mouth cringing a bit at its overwhelming sweetness. It was way too much sugar for him but he wasn't about to waste it. "I don't think they'll be able to fix this but at least I'll feel better about it. They need checkups first though before we talk with the other idiots." Their healer was top notch so the girls would be safe in their hands, well, as safe as they could be in the hands of a villain. He discarded the wrappers into a nearby trash bin before starting their walk to headquarters. For someone who lacked delicacy, Todoroki was surprisingly gentle with Harley. He treated her like she was made of glass with every movement he made, even doing little things like stroking her head to keep her calm. Her expressionless face did make him a bit concerned that she might've hit her head or shut down. When he was younger he remembered when he'd get hit he'd just completely shut down for the day.

Bakugou let koeri sleep on him as he called the transportation villain to get them to headquarters quicker.He looked at the healer who waited for them.

"Do anything funny to these girls and i will vlast your ass to hell."He says to the healer who nodded fearfully of the two."Let this one sleep."He says.

Harley saw the healer as she looked at todoroki and gripped his shirt.She didnt know the healer and was a bit afraid.

Koeri was laid down on the bed not daring to disturb her slumber against Bakugo's orders.

Todoroki sighed as Harley clung to him. "Okay okay I'll stay." He set her down on the other bed for the healer to inspect her. He didn't leave the room since Harley was too afraid to be left alone. "I'll watch over them for a bit. You go have a chat with those two girls." He nodded Bakugo off to go look for the two villains who did this in the first place. He took a seat in the chair next to the bed glaring daggers at the healer watching their every move. If something happened to those two girls the healer was going to suffer. They started with Harley first, using their quirk to heal the bruises on her arms and legs before doing a general check up like any pediatrician. She was mostly okay, a few psychological problems but physically she was healthy.

Harley looked at todoroki she closed her eyes and laid down as she fell asleep.

Bakugou went to shigaraki as he told him about the two that Todoroki killed and how the girls are reacting to the incident from the park.He confronting the two villain girls who begged for mercy.Their screams could be heard as they were punished.Bakugou returned to the room,"they will return to normal after three days apperantly."He says

The healer moved on to Koeri, assessing her wounds and healing all the problems. They even tucked her under the blanket so she'd sleep easier before Todoroki did the same for Harley.

"At least we made it through the first day... Somewhat. I never got the chance to go food shopping or buy her clothes. I don't know what little girls eat or do." He sat back down in the seat with a light groan trying to avoid waking the sleeping girls. It was easier when they were awake to say what they wanted but now that the two boys had to figure it out on their own it was a little more complicated. "I think... they're starting to warm up to us..." His eyes returned to Harley watching her sleep so peacefully on the bed. She was actually kind of cute curled up like that.

"Tomorrow we can take them shopping and such but for now we should spend the night here."Bakugou says as he rubbed his temple.He looked at the sleeping Koeri and couldnt help but smile at the little girl.

She was cute when she was all grown up but now she is the cutest he have ever seen.His head beat suddenly as he shrugged it off.

Harley woke up a bit sleepily before she crawled off the bed and goes to todoroki with the blanket and she climbed onto his lap using him as a bed now.

"H-Hey wait a minute-" Todoroki blushed having her crawl onto him so suddenly, accepting that she wasn't going approve of otherwise. "I think you're right." His arm wrapped around Harley pulling the blanket up on her more so she could sleep better. He didn't attempt to move only slump himself down a bit more so he could relax from his upright position.

Koeri started thrashing around a bit in her sleep, throwing her arms and kicking the blanket off herself. She growled low but not deep enough to sound any more menacing than an angry puppy. She was having a bad dream from the looks of it, or at least one where she was fighting something. After a moment she stilled and her body transformed into a small wolf pup with full white fur and black tips on her paws.

Bakugou went over and gently pet her head behind her small ears."These girls have been such pains in our asses but for some reason if anybody tries to hurt this one i will kill them."He says.

Harley began to whine in her sleep as small tears formed in her eyes.She relaxed again before smiling in her sleep as she snuggled against todoroki.She slept soundly as her breathing was calm and relaxed showing she could and had a cute side.

Koeri purred as her ears flicked slightly, loving the gentle pets against her head. Her back paw thumped softly against the bed before she woke up just enough to jump into Bakugo's arms. She curled up to him, burrowing herself in his arms as she drifted back off.

"I've noticed that too.. I almost lost it when I saw that other kid hit her. There's supposed to be growing on us not the other way around." Todoroki wrapped his arms around Harley. His hand ran circles on her back to keep her calm since he felt her tense up. He didn't dare to get up or move though and risk waking her. "We can talk about it in the morning. I'm going to sleep." The half and half boy closed his eyes wanting to attempt sleeping.

Bakugou got on the bed and laid down as he let Koeri sleep on him.He closed his eyes and fell asleep more comfortable than he had been before.He slept peacefully till morning when he finally woke up he looked at koeri.

Harley slept soundly against todoroki when morning rolled around and she slowly started to wake up.She moved off of todoroki as she went to a corner and laid down again dozing off again.She had wrapped herself into a cute little burrito.

Todoroki exhaled seeing how Harley both moved and wrapped herself in the blanket, stripping him of all the warmth he had. He sat up stretching out his joints for a moment before he went to pick her up. He set her on the bed wrapped in her cute burrito form allowing her to sleep there rather than on the floor in the corner. He left the room going to the kitchen to grab a few snacks. A lot of other villains lived at headquarters so there was almost some bit of food stocked in the cabinets. He returned with apple juice pouches and animal crackers for the girls, setting them on the table.

Koeri slept through the night with a few bumps here and there as she moved a lot in her sleep. When morning rolled around she perked up on Bakugo's chest yawning softly as her ears flicked. She jumped down off him, rolling on the floor as it was a bit higher up than she expected to fall and ran to the door. Like all puppies when they first woke up she had to pee, really badly. She ran out the door that Todoroki left open and started barking as she looked for the bathroom.

"The hell did a dog come from?" A villain asked as she ran straight into him. Koeri yelped and instantly changed back to her human form. "It's a kid?? Where the fuck-" He picked her up confused where she could have possibly come from.

"I gotsa go potty! Down!" She flailed her body a bit and bite the man's hands to which he dropped her to the floor. "Ow! Meanie!"

"I ought to punch you! The hell did you bite me for?!" The villain growled at her and the little girl quivered.

"I hafta potty... Yo-u're s-so s-cary." She hiccuped as she started sniffling. Koeri took off again running and crying down the hall.

"Hey get back here you damn brat!" The villain yelled chasing after her.

Bakugou heard the shouts as he jumped awake and ran to find the puppy that was now missing from his chest.When he found the little girl running from the villain he kneeled down,"Hey koeri."He says to her as he held his arms open.

Harley felt herself being moved as she opened her eyes slightly.She saw Todoroki move her to the bed as she smiled.the girl could sleep forever if she was given the chance.It helped her regain her mind.

Koeri was already full crying as she ran from the villain as fast as her little legs could carry her, which was pretty fast because she was part wolf. It was enough to keep the man from grabbing her so quickly. She saw Bakugo kneeling with his arms open and ran straight into his chest, sniffling and crying into him before wrapping her arms around his neck. "K-Kat-san..! He's b-bean a m-meanie..!" She rubbed at her eyes with her tiny palm.

"Me?? You ran into me then you BIT me! It's only right that I get to fucking punch you after all the trouble you've put me through!" The man yelled as he huffed trying to catch his breath.

The little girl cowered as she pressed herself against Bakugo. "He dr-dropped me on my butt and it hurted and then he chased me round the hallway. I hafta potty.." She whimpered as her tail tucked between her trembling legs. Koeri was scared but she also had to pee real bad. She was house broken at a young age so she knew how to hold it but in the morning it wasn't so easy.

"I'll sock I swear! Come 'ere you damn whine runt!" The man drew closer trying to grab at her.

Todoroki couldn't help but smile at her smile. She was so peaceful looking compared to how she looked as an adult. He sat down at the edge of the bed so she could sleep without being interrupted and eat the snacks whenever she was ready. He started scrolling through his phone on the internet looking up 'methods of properly caring for a child' because he wanted to make sure he didn't mess anything up this far. Plus letting Shigaraki, who doesn't have kids, Bakugo who also doesn't have kids, or the children themselves tell him how to go about it is sure to lead to disaster.

Katsuki grabbed the mans face hiding Koeris head so she didnt see the scary face he was making."I hope you dont intend to act out on your actions or else we are going to have a problem."Katsuki says sternly and menacingly.

The villain glared as he continued to reach for Koeri but suddenly his head was slammed into the wall with several explosions following.He then looked at Koeri and smiled,"let's get you to the potty."He says as he takes her to the bathroom.

"I wub wuu."Harley says in half asleep child talk as she got up and looked at the snacks curiously.She grabbed one and took a bit before giving Todoroki the rest.She did that for all the snacks before she smiled at Todoroki.
"Onii-chan do you like me?"She asks finally talking more around him.

Koeri flinched against Bakugo as she lowered her ears. The explosions were loud and sudden to they irritated her sensitive pup ears. She looked up at him with puffy tear-filled eyes as she nodded. "Oka." She sniffled while he took her to the bathroom. If she were in her wolf form she likely would have peed on the floor but since she was in human form she was much better at controlling herself. She was small for a kid and scrawny, her head barely hit the doorknob of most doors because of how tiny she was. Compared to other wolf pups in the compound, she was a runt. The little one crawled onto the toilet properly and held herself so she wouldn't just fall in. Once she was finished she fixed herself again and reached into the sink to wash her hands. It was a little difficult but she managed somehow. "Hungry... Burbers..." She whimpered as her tail swished slowly behind her. She was talking about burgers, probably her all-time favorite food to eat. The pup was starving after running around.

Todoroki took the crackers, popping a few in his mouth before he started to just hold them in his hand as she passed them to him. He swallowed hard when she asked a sudden question. He didn't know what to say. If he said no she'd likely throw a fit or worse. If he said yes it wouldn't entirely be true. He didn't hate her nor did he particularly like her. It was more he tolerated her being close and was content with her not being psychotic. If he said nothing that'd be even worse. "Yes. You're pleasant for a little kid." He finally settled on.

Bakugou smiled as he sent somebody else to get them burgers.He walked back to the room where they were all staying in as he put Koeri down so she could play with Harley as he sighed and looked at todoroki.

"I slammed Tadashis face into the wall and exploded a couple of times."He says looking at Todoroki before explaining what had happened.

Harley smiled brightly,"yay everybody else says I'm annoying except Ko ko and my mommy and daddy didnt like me."She says before getting off of his lap and giving Koeri some of the crackers to hold the pup over while Harley sat and looked at Koeri."Ko ko what do you want to play?"Harley asks

Koeri scampered over to Harley with a wide grin. She took the crackers and started to scarf them down even though they weren't enough. "We can play hide and seek or... or tag orrrrr ummm..." She paused for a moment looking around the room. It wasn't very large so running around in there wasn't easy. Plus there weren't a lot of hiding spots.

"Fetch." Todoroki chimed in throwing a cracker in the air. Koeri's animal instincts kicked in as her eyes narrowed and she went to catch the treat in her mouth, which she successfully did. "Play fetch." He told the girls as he gave Harley more crackers for them to use so he could talk with Bakugo for a moment.

"Is he de-sleeping... forever." He said changing his words so he wouldn't alarm the girls. He had heard some commotion in the hall a bit early but nothing was ever enough to be concerning for him. Bakugo was capable and so was he, the girls were honestly in the safest hands out of the group. "Tadashi was always a fool. Worse so for meddling in something that doesn't involve him."
