Ok guys, so this last boss battle is taking a really long time, and I don't think it's fair to everyone else to make everyone wait so long to continue on. So, I think that I am going to institute the time jump tomorrow to get things moving again.

Okay. I wasn't really planning much anyway; I just kind of figured that Thomas and Raiquen would break out of the illusion somehow, everyone would beat the boss, etc., then they'd work their way out after not finding much of anything. Nothing extravagant that can't just be recalled by Raiquen in his intro post after the time jump.

I'll explain it more in the actual post I make for the time jump, but they're all going to be at the same city. Not necessarily in the same group as everyone (cause then waiting for everyone to post takes a really long time and can kill the rp), but close enough to where, if there's a character you want to get in a group with, you have a chance to do so, or to just get into whichever groups that end up forming (which my characters don't necessarily have to be a part of, by the way! I think I've mentioned that before, but I want to remind everyone that groups are completely open. They can be simple pairs, or larger groups (just try not to make a group too large)!)


I think I'm also going to add a 'preferred posting speed' at the top of the time-jump posts, just so others can see how often you want to post and can plan accordingly, so slower rpers can pair with slower rpers, and faster with faster, so on and so forth, but I'm a little bit undecided on that part ^^''

When I make an RP one of my rules is that if you don't post within a time limit, we will continue the RP and your character will be like they were in the background the whole time. Therefore, they can rejoin whenever. The time limit is usually three days.

I typically only show up during the evenings (my time) which is typically 3-4 hours during the week and im on for like 5-6 on weekends depending on my schedule

Yeah, my time limit is a week, which is a bit long, really. But mine is also "a week, then you're basically kicked out unless you told us beforehand or have a super good excuse", so it's not exactly just a 'continue on with no worries' type thing. I've continued earlier than that before ^^'' I just want to give people the chance to pick groups with posting speeds they're comfortable with, so they don't have to read through a million replies if they're a slower RPer who happens to join a fast-posting group

Only if they've been gone for a week without mentioning it to anyone. A week is a pretty reasonable time period, and even then I mostly just put their characters on hold just in case they come back with a really good excuse. But all that can be avoided with a quick "hey, I won't be able to post for a while, if my character is in the way, feel free to move them!" (really, I'm pretty lenient)

My bad guys, I wasn't able to post yesterday. I had a bunch of tests to take yesterday, and was just too mentally drained to do anything creative. If we could skip to the end, when Thomas breaks out of the illusion, I was planning on having him not actually believing he was free, and proceed to get sick of it, and momentarily fight them. Since Kokoro emptied Thomas' quiver at the start, Thomas wouldn't have an arrow to knock, and Raiquen could point that out and start Thomas from going insane. Just a little something I wanted to add to Thomas' character, and make the thing more dramatic. I'm cool with whatever. @Rin Nyx @Creekstar @Psithurism

You can start wherever you like! I'm going to have Arya start at the tavern, since she said she would meet up with Ireth there. If you want to join her, then yes! Otherwise it could be stated that they were going to meet again later, since they would have traveled to the city together and would probably be staying in the same inn and everything.

We're just getting started with the time jump! All the info is on the IC thread, so all that's left is to jump into the city wherever you like You can interact with Arya or Geir, who I already made intro posts for, or be somewhere else in the city to wait for someone to find you or to wait until more people have intro posts for you to decide where to go. Basically, however you wanna introduce your character, go ahead! Haha
