While Kerym used to look up to Apatite, the doting that Cerridwen gave him overtook that loyalty immediately. Her words and hurtful accusations quickly lodged into his mind, driving the two siblings apart. He believes he would be much better at ruling than his sister. However, despite all the hatred, Apatite still cares about him and just hides it under a mask. Her songs as WINTER mask the pain and hurt she feels of her family betraying her.
