The Inn at the Edge of the World (OOC)

Abram can hurt people, too, mind. Assuming he went all-out against the peasant, for some reason, he has good odds of doing something like 16 Condition damage and 5 Health damage in a single blow. Sellsword wouldn't fair much better.

Basically, anyone except a better-trained/equipped knight or an actual monster would be stupid to get into a fair fight with Abram.

I'm actually curious to see how the party will react to Osric's leadership, in this. He believes a fair fight is one you've already lost.

Abram may find himself conflicted. He knows firsthand the joy that comes from fairly winning a duel against an evenly matched or even superior fighter, but he's lived most of his adult life as a mercenary. At the end of the day he'd rather be alive than honorable, if only for his mother's sake. So Abram may become Osric's litmus test when it comes to plans. He may inform him when a plan is soundly devious or crosses a line that aught not be crossed.

Lyke has no issue with fighting dirty. She's a bandit, a blackgard and a ne'r do well. She'd wait by the side of the road with a half dozen others and take all their stuff. Throw sand in people's eyes, caltrop a field, anything.

Connection Established! Finally back online. Sorry for the delay, although now I can regularly check the site. Going to catch up on things so far and get posting tomorrow.

Eh, it could be worse. Mostly a sore throat, mild headache, being frickin' tired, and a little difficulty in concentrating. But I'll try and get a post up soon.

Nope. Said he was going to today, but may be wrapped up in preparing the house for guests. Give him until eightish, I guess?

He said he'd get caught up and start posting a few days ago, but nothing since. Could be starting his Masters has kicked his ass, timewise.

I'll try to get ahold of him again later tonight or during the day tomorrow, see what's going on.

Hey! There it is. Like the post @Bardiel, but I'm a little confused about something.

Adelaide is referred to a lot as "they" and only very rarely as "she". Are they gender fluid or something? Because that's the only time I've heard people refer to someone as "they" or "them" in an endearing way.

Which is a shame she can't articulate her thoughts because I'm pretty sure she'd have some sick burns for Adelaide otherwise.

Miming insults doesn't quite have the same impact, unfortunately.

Lyke's eventual impetus to learn how to read and write is to insult her fellow human beings more appropriately... Love it.
