The illuminist is a fish that produces light to attract other fish and it them. It is small not being as big as other predators, but they tend to hunt in packs to take down larger animals. They are extremely poisonous, if they are consumed it is highly likely that the creature will die.

The anglemount is a large fish creature that feeds on the illuminist being immuned to their poison, but they don't hunt anything else. They are born being at least five feet long and can grow to be hundreds of feet long. They are tamable and can be used as mounts.

Liz'ards prey on insects and are easily tameable to be mounts. They can grow to be five feet in length and three feet tall. They are excellent swimmers and can reach thrity miles a hour while running.

The firetick is an insect that hovers just above water producing a light to attract mates and it attaches itself to a host to suck blood to survive. It lays its eggs in water with a good supply of nutrients for its young to grow.

Wouldn't any god be able to instantly learn any langue whenever they wanted?

Not necassarily since it's not in their domains to know certain things, in Qan'cath's it is.
