@TheLoneRook What does 'permanent fixtures' mean in reference to the Augmented?

@Kirito Kei Basically a permanent fixture is an augment that you cannot remove. Something permanently attached to the Augmented's body. Like a suit you can't take off, basically, or any other augment item that cannot be removed. Since Augmented are naturally physically normal, they're cultivated because that gives them the ability to blend in with society, if they were to have permanent fixtures they'd lose that quality, because they wouldn't exactly look normal anymore. Okay, so how this is looking, is that most of the 'improvements' are physical in nature, yes? So, something like persuasion at a touch would be disqualified because of the 'no mind fucking' policy? This is regarding either a barely Harnesser or a more than just barely put together human.

@IthacaAlexandria You could do mental manipulation via neurotoxins and other biochemical methods. The "No Mindfucking" policy is just that the unit cannot possess mental powers. So if you find a means of achieving your persuasion through non-mental means, then you'll be just fine. Though I would classify such toxins as something of a Harnesser more than anything else. If you wanna try something a little off the wall just PM me and I'll help you work it in

Regardless it's time I start making my boyo, leaning towards a big fellah, large and not so in charge, maybe have a eloquent detailed inner monologue to explain hi emotions, even if he cannot himself.

@Orikanyo Ah, sorry. Hard to discern comedy from straight confusion at times. But essentially yes, Overgrown are massive physical monstrosities. Though if you'd like some physical-power gimmick I'll at least hear you out, it would depend on what you had in mind a lot of the time.

As for the gimmick I really didn't have anything in mind, however the primitive mind interests me more, since with an overgrown you can just flatten most things that want to try, key word try, to hurt you.


I simply wish to know the extent of the mutation, are we going full on alien creature that drools a molten acid? Or simply a strange oddity that is vaguely human, just extremely large and jumbled together, looking like a drawing of a toddler when asked to draw a gorrilla?

@Orikanyo That's just it, overgrown are excessively mutated. Whether that mutation is clean and pretty or grotesque and vile is up to you. All that matters is that they are very heavily mutated. The central idea is that every person responds to the Genesis Bullet a little differently, and so there are some who take it better than others. So your call really, but I would personally recommend that you don't go too far off the reservation.

I'm afraid the way your character is written currently I can't accept you. You don't seem to have followed several of the set Class Limitations, specifically regarding permanent fixtures. I would recommend reading through the necessary information and trying to adjust for these issues. Also, remember that you will not be accepted without the proper Storage Passcode.

These will what your characters will wake up having, leading you to CI9 from wherever your body was previously. If you have any preference as to where your body would be located, feel free to PM me and I'll cater to that preference, otherwise I'll be using my own imagination.
