It is the year 3006. The human population has grown exponentially, into the trillions. Earth could not sustain this many people, and colonization of the objects in our Solar System began during 2200. Technology had advanced to the point where large scale habitable domes could be constructed within a year or two. Centuries later after the first colony on Mars, a thriving human population was located on nearly every planet, moon, and gas giant through the usage of floating stations. Not long after, in 2709, the citizens of Earth's moon, Luna, was pushing from independence from the rest of the Solar System. When they were denied that independence, they declared a war against Earth. Jupiter and it's moons, Mercury, and Mars joined Earth's side of the war, called The Sol Union(TSU). Venus and Neptune joined the war on Luna's side, hoping to create a new planetary nation known as United Lunar Front (UDF). The war raged on for 280 years, resulting in the annexation of the southern hemisphere of Earth by the United Lunar Defense Front, the destruction of Neptunian moons, and the conquest of land the size of Russia on Venus by The Sol Union. 70 billion lives were lost, soldiers and innocent people. A truce was made between the two unions, and the war ended. The aggression settled down, and people were no longer on edge about another attack. That was, until UDF ships began renewing hostilities on the equatorial border on Earth. Citizens still try to get by in their lives, even though there is a risk that they will not be at peace the next day.
