Oh ok. That makes sense. Basically, because it is so infused with the soil it's hard to smelt which is the process of separating the Iron from the surrounding material.

PvP combat is handled in turns. Player A performs an action, and Player B starts out their response by indicating what effect Player A's action had on them. Then Player B performs an action, and so on and so forth. These scenarios require a healthy dose of good judgment and logical thinking to end up being fair and enjoyable. So how do you handle player on player violence capMARVELOUS ?
Not really, aside from railguns are harder to come by.Is there a big difference in this RP on how railguns and slug throwers work besides the propulsion system? capMARVELOUS
Yes. And more dangerous. Thanks, are they more powerful than slug throwers?
Well, for starters, they're extremely high-powered, so a shot from one is basically an instant kill. Second, they have a high level of kickback, which can hurt the user severely. Third, if handled improperly... well, things get very messy. In what way are they more dangerous? Do you mean to the user?
Ah, and what would constitute handling improperly? From what it sounds like, these are not very rapid-fire weapons either, best be careful with your shots. And also are railguns only rifles or can they come in pistol form?
Improper handling for railguns includes not wearing proper equipment (electricity-resistant arm armor, heavy light-blocking visor, etc.) and basically firing it without any of the proper training. Railgus, as of now, are large, bulky, unwieldy things, so no, a firearm that size could not be a railgun.Basically I want to know if this could be a Railgun.
A mix of both. Basically, something like below.Ok, sounds good to me. Would say that it looks more like a Lasergun or a Slugthrower?
Yes. Anti-personnel railguns are currently in development, but won't be available for a long time.Ok, I think I get the picture, they seem more likely to be anti-material or anti-vehicle weapons than anti-personnel.
Plasma guns are, in fact, a thing that you can use. They're mostly small in size. I think we have another player using plasma guns, so of course it's a thing. How about plasma guns?
Mostly electrically-charged shells, but they're pretty hot.You know, your saying that the gun looks like a mix between laser gun and regular gun made me wonder if it's possible that it could shoot superheated bullets.
Not really. The terms seem interchangeable around here.Ok, any difference between plasma and laser guns?
