Ok, sounds good. Basically, all you need to do is think desert. Lots of small creatures with very few large or medium ones. The bison and the Kodai are probably good enough as far as large creatures are concerned if the Kodai serve as the main predator of the space Bison.

Mars has all the sodas; they're a pretty big import. From what I can tell, the Touch of Home seems to be a Coke place.
