The Forgotten Princess(Closed)

Ksenia opened the door and hid slightly behind it.


"yes?" She asked Luke. She was curious why he had stopped by her room. She still hated Layla his betrothed and she wanted her hung. Ksenia however would not unless she proved Layla was a treasonous snake. She talked to Luke and nods.


"Well thanks for coming by. I think I am going to bed. It's been a long day." She said and closed the door. She didn't want to talk to him. She grabbed a dress and put her corset on. Ksenia slipped on a black dress. She hated dresses, but at least she could deal with the color black. Ksenia slipped out her door after braiding part if her hair back. She slipped down to the grounds with out being seen. She made her way to the fountain. She stopped seeing Dominic, she was surprised.


"Oh Hey." She said. She went to back up.


"so this is where you are hiding." She said. She walked over to him and clasped her hands together.


"you okay?" She asked gently.

[Lunar Eclipse]

Dominic jumped by the sound of her voice, but then smiled when he realized it was her. He looked into her beautiful eyes and he felt at peace. All thoughts of his bethrothed wiped his mind. It was just Ksenia. He squeezed her hand when she grasped his.


"Yeah, well. It's a nice peaceful spot to think. Oh, yeah and I'm good. Busy day, ya know? So, how did the talk go with your parents?" Dominic looked into her eyes, looking for how the revealing had went. He wanted to make sure she was okay.


Layla grimaced, one of the stupid maids had been reading one of her letters to her dad about her plans. Such a shame too, she had been a good maid. Layla looked at the dead cold body. The maid's chest was crested with blood with a knife embedded in the middle. Layla plucked the knife from the girls chest, and wiped the knife off in the grass. She then placed her knife in her calf. She then screamed at the top of her lungs, and pulled her face into a distressed manner. A guard rushed to her side, and she started to cry into his chest.


"Sh...She was my m...maid. And I was...I was just walking, and I found..found her here like this. Do..do you think someone is t..trying to target me?"


The guard reassured her that it was going to be okay, and that he would take care of it. The guard took her to her rooms, and once again reassured her it was okay. Once he left, Layla smiled, people were so gullible. She got ready for bed, and burned the letters. Didn't want that instance to happen again. She then fell asleep, she'd start her plan tomorrow.

Ksenia looked at Dominic, her Blue eye's on him. She had fallen for him and needed him and now that he was no longer betrothed to that devil woman Layla. Layla was betrothed to Luke. She negotiate with her parents to make him her's if they wanted her to stay. She sat next to him, her hand in his. She bit her lower lip.


"very peaceful here, great place to think." She moved closer to him and sighed putting her hair behind her ear with her free hand. She sighed at his question and shook her head


"Not Well I don't fit in here at all, I feel off, like the gypsy life was what I was meant to live. I don't know." She said and sighed and looked at him.


"What I am certain of is how I feel about you and if they want me here, Layla won't get her demon claws on you. I don't trust her at all. She is up to something." Ksenia said.


"Well I should get some sleep so should you." She said. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. She closed her eye's and moved her lips on his. She was glad when he didn't pull back. She opened her eye's once and saw Layla glaring from the shadows. She twined her hands in his hair and smirked closing her eye's again. Ksenia finally pulled away and sighed.


"Walk me to my room." She said and kissed his cheek. She winked at him, they walked to her room, her hand staying in his. She stopped at her door and turned to him, her back to the door.


"Stay with me the night, please." She said her eye's begging him

[Lunar Eclipse]

Dominic smiled at her.


"You know I would love to, but Im afraid several people would have my head for that." Domininc took his free hand and ran it against her jaw. He was looking into her eyes. He then grinned and scooped her up into his arms, and carried her into her name, and gently threw her onto the bed.


"Goodnight princess." He then threw a pillow at her in a playful manner. He laughed, and then walked out of her room.


He slipped into his bed, and removed his sword. He grabbed one of his hidden daggers, and slid it under his pillow. He then locked the door, and flopped onto the bed. He felt himself slowly drift off to sleep.

Ksenia watched him and smiles.


"yeah I guess."


She said her face fell slightly. She nuzzled into his hand and sighed. She let out a small noise. As he picked her up and threw her on the bed. She laughed and tossed a pillow back at him.


"Don't call me that, it's not who I am."


She said and sighed. She watched, him go. She shooed her servants and got ready for bed. She fell asleep after putting a dagger under her pillow. She woke later in the evening. Ksenia sat at her window with a sigh. She went to bed and woke early in the morning. Ksenia dressed and grabbed her bow and arrow. She went to the stable and got her horse saddled. She shook her head as she looked at him.


"we don't belong here boy, I can't make this work. He isn't mine to have. I mean I was a gypsy yesterday, today I am princess. When I am not." She spoke to the horse as she packed him up. She looked up when she heard footfall. She saw the knights getting up. She bit her lower lip. She had left a note for Dominic, she left a rose and kissed his lips and sleeping form. She wiped her eye's and hoped on her horse.

[Lunar Eclipse]

Dominic was groggy when he woke up. He had slept in. He usually had liked to get up before all of his Knights. Dominic instantly found the note and rushed outside, strapping his sword to his waist. He then climbed onto his horse bareback and spurred the horse forward. Hopefully he could find Ksenia before she got to far. She probably didn't know this, but lots of people now knew that she was the princess and it would be very dangerous for her. Dominic knew she could take care of herself for the most part, but he was still worried about her.


Layla starred at the pool of blood. Her plan has now started. The poor fool had fallen for her charm, and now the knight was dead in his own pool of blood. She smiled at her handy work. She then stalked off, readjusting her dress to recover her cleavage.

Samara rode till she was far enough away from the castle. She couldn't breathe, she stopped her horse and slid off. She pet his nose,


"What am I supposed to do now?" She said.


She leaned on a tree and looked up as she heard horse hooves. She looked up and tried to think on her feet. She grabbed her bow and arrow. She pointed it at the rider and lowered it. She saw Dominic and shook her head.


"I should have known, you would follow me," she said to him.


"I can't go back. I don't belong, there is nothing there for me except for you, but I feel trapped there like I can barely breathe. Court life is Stifling."


She said and wiped her eye's. She walked over when he got off his horse and she wrapped her arms around his neck.


"I am so lost at what to do where to go. I feel like I don't have family either place. Come with me. Let's leave this all behind." She said to him.

"What about your parents? They will be heartbroken. Hey just barely got their daughter back. Just come back with me, and then we can leave formally. Promise. I'll leave with you, and we can leave happily ever after. Just me and you." He said the last sentence with touching his nose to hers. His horse pawed at the ground signaling people were coming. Dominic didn't care. He just cared about what was right in front of him, Ksenia.


"Do we have a deal?" Dominic whispered.


His horse once again pawed the ground signaling a warning. Which meant people who weren't Knights, but Dominic refused to look out of Ksenia's eyes until he got an answer.

She looked at him, he was right. They would leave formally and she would have him. He promised to go with her, she touched her nose to his. She watched him.


"Yes. Okay I will go back with you." She said.


Ksenia watched him as he turned standing in front of her protectively. Men ride up about a dozen. They smirk,and pull there swords.


"We have defenseless princess and her personal body guard." Ksenia gripped her dagger behind her back. She was definitely not helpless. Between the two of them. These men would be nothing. She looked scared at them, but inside she was furious and would use her dagger covered in poison and watch the die a painful death. She had almost done the same to Dominic. She how ever fell head over heels for him. He could talk her into anything and she go back for him to say good bye. She just couldn't stay there Layla could have her spot for all she cared. She was no princess and never could be.

Dominic rolled his eyes at the weak form the thieves held. He then recognized the seal on the hilt of one of the swords. They were from the war that had killed his father. A glaze went over Dominic's eyes. He instantly took out his sword and started attacking with no mercy. He would make them pay. Dominic quickly slashed off both of the hands of one of them and worked his way to the others and did the same to them. He sneered at them.


"Good luck getting home." He then jammed on of his swords in the thigh of the closest theif who screamed in pain.


"You ready?" Dominic asked coldly.

Ksenia watched him and nods as he asked if she was ready. She got on her horse and followed him back to the castle. She hoped he was serious about going after this, this wasn't her life, she didn't want to make it stick she wanted to be free to do what she wanted. They were greeted at the gate, a slue if knights."ahhh I see you have returned the traitor." They say and grab her Ksenia looked at Dominic as they took her down and arrested her."What are you talking about, let me go I haven't done anything wrong." Dominic tell them." She said. She looked at him for help, when he told them to un hand her and explained where she had been all morning. They let her loose. She moved next to Dominic with a glare at them as they explained whats going on."well there is who did it arrest her,she is no friend to the crown" she said to the knight's.
