The First Hybrid

"Cheers!" she raised her bottle up, opened it and drank the whole bottle. After those running, climbing and jumping, she got tired and hungry. "So how long have you been staying here?" he asked "I've been staying here for about 3 days. Kind of a miracle for me because I can usually stay for 1 and a half day and then i need to flee to another"

After Natalie finished her bottle "I'll go sleep. Thanks for tonight" she said and go inside her room which is just near the couch. When Natalie got inside, she locked the door for safety purposes (lolol). Natalie put her bag in the bedside table and immediately lied down, tired. She closes her eyes and goes to sleep.

Sebastian settled his tall frame into the couch. His feet dangled a bit, but he guessed it was better than being outside. His body was tired due to the travelling and so he slept, soundly and deeply.

As he was used to, he woke up even before the sun's rays touched the treetops of the forest. Sensing that the girl had is still asleep, he went to the kitchen and investigated. Looking at the cabinets, he decided to prepare them breakfast. He turned on the stove and soon the smell of brewed coffee, bacon and omelette filled the air.

(Wow. Those are my favorite foods!!!! By the way, can your character go outside the sun? And does he have that ring thing)

Natalie wakes up as she smelled the delicious coffee, bacon and omelette "Who's cooking?" she asked herself as she get up and scratch her eyes. Still kinda in the dreamland, she opened the door and saw Sebastian cooking "Uh. It's so early." she said and sit down. Natalie look at Sebastian's back "You know how to cook?" he asked him 'Obviously, he does, Natalie' she thought and slapped herself (not mentally) to wake herself up "Good morning by the way" she said.

(Lucky guess! :D Maybe he'll have a ring.)

"Good morning, princess!" he looked back at her, still with a pan on his hand and a spatula on the other. He woke up in a happy mood this morning and decided to start his duties as the girl's protector. As he was cooking in the silence of the room, he realized that he can feel in his heart that he found the girl he was meant to serve, whether she admits it or not.

He got a plate and placed the bacon and omelette on it. He also filled a cup with coffee and provided some cream and sugar. He served them in front of Natalie. "Eat up, girl! You're so skinny, it makes me want to feed you."

(Will? Why in the future ;O)

"Sexy you mean?" Natalie joked and playfully grinned at him. Hungry (she's always hungry), she quickly dig in on her food. When she noticed Sebastian doesn't have anything, she stopped and look at him "You are not eating?" she said as she take a sip on her coffee "Wow, these are delicious. It's been like 2 years since I didn't ate a human food" she said and took a bite on her bacon. Natalie, for some reason, felt comfortable and safe around Sebastian. Half of her wants to trust him but the other half doesn't. Shaking her head, she take a sip on her coffee again.

(Okay, he has. lol. Haven't really thought about it. xD )

"Just looking at your pretty face sates me," he joked back at her, winking. But he stood up once again and filled another plate with omelette, declining to eat the bacon. He sat facing her. "Why not? Do you not cook? Obviously, you can eat human food." He spooned a fluffy part into his mouth. Damn, he's a good cook.

(oh okay :PP)

Natalie bowed her head, biting her lip, not trying to smile or laugh. "Why not? Do you not cook? Obviously, you can eat human food." he said, Natalie looked up "I'm bad at it. One thing you shouldn't trust is my cooking skills. Ugh, I'm bad on almost everything" she said disappointingly and took a very big bite of her omelette. When Natalie noticed he didn't eat any bacon, she cocked her eyebrow and look at him "Why didn't you take any bacon? Your bacon is very well cooked!"

"Then you're in luck, 'cause I'm a spectacular cook." He sent her sly glance. "Are you sure you're not my girl? I could cook and I could clean. Just imagine the feast you'll be having if you have me." He grinned at her once again and took her hand. "Good at nothing? My lady, you just burned two men last night. I think that mean something." He caressed her hand, wanting to comfort her.

Natalie stared at Sebastian as he caressed her hand. She usually burn people's hand when they touch her but she didn't. "No" Natalie laughed "It's their fault. They were too weak but if they sent their most strongest vampires, my body is probably already in their hands" she said

Sebastian stood up, still holding her hand. And then he knelt beside her, serious and quiet. "My lady, I'm Sebastian Vallejo, and I pledge myself to you. My life is your life. I'd die for you. I'll protect you with my life," he said, the words burning in his heart. To seal the promise he made, he kissed the back of her hand, with reverence and respect.

"Wow.... Uh" Natalie looked at him and awkwardly get her hand back "That was deep" she laugh awkwardly. She quickly finished her breakfast. She stand up and put her plate in the sink "If you want, I can clean up those plates later. I'm just going to have a bath" she said and run inside to her bedroom.

Sebastian sighed, running his fingers through his hair. Frustration filled him. Maybe he did it too fast. He should have waited until she was more comfortable with him. Now, the mood was broken and she must think he's a creep. With nothing to do, he picked up his used plates and washed them all in the sink. He was sat down on the couch and decided to just spend the time reading.

Natalie walk outside the bathroom with her new clothes on while combing her wet hair. She can't still forget what happened earlier especially when Sebastian kissed the back of her hand. Natalie faced the mirror "Get over it, stupid" she said. Suddenly, she saw a calendar nearby, it's a calendar from last year but it didn't matter. She quickly run towards the door and get out, seeing Sebastian reading something in the couch "Is it full moon today?!" she asked, scared and worried.

Sebastian quickly looked up, a smile on his face. He was relieved that she was speaking to him again, even if it's just to ask the date. "Full moon?" He checked his phone. "Yes, tonight will be," he said with hesitance in his voice, realizing what it meant.

(Let's have another attack the next rp day? :) )

(Yes, when it will be night time, which won't be long!!)

Natalie's eyes widen and cursed. "We need to leave this place immediately!" she said and rushed back to her room, get her important things and put them inside her bag. After getting everything she needs, she quickly go outside again, ready to leave. But when Natalie got to glance the mini window in the corner, seeing the very bright sun outside, her face fell "Ugh." Annoyed, she plop down beside Sebastian.

Sebastian maintained his position on the couch. He just closed the book after marking his page. He leaned back, a picture of a carefree man. He kept quiet and just observed as Natalie went about her way. And when Natalie plopped down beside him, he slung an arm on her shoulders affectionately. "Why the hurry? You're a vampire anyway. The moon has no effect on you. Unless..." he sent her a meaningful glance with his eyebrows raised.

Natalie look at him, not realizing Sebastian's arm on her shoulders. "Of course, it won't have any effect to us vampires. But the werewolves will turn later once the full moon appears in the night sky and since we are like in the middle of the forest, a lot of wolves will come here. And when they find us and bite us, we will be dead."

(She's not going to transform into a wolf during full moon? What is the weakness of the wolves)

"Then we need to prepare ourselves." He surveyed the tiny cabin, looking for any weapon they can use against the wolves. Though he believes that Natalie is a proficient magic user and he is a skillful enough fighter, it's better to be prepared. He searched the cabinets for those items. "Why do you not have a ring, anyway? I have one."

(Not yet, in order to trigger her werewolf abilities, she needs to kill someone directly (stab, strangle them to death, etc.) The weakness of the werewolves is that one plant (i forgot name) and silver stuff)

"We should" she said. When she got asked about her ring, she leaned on the couch and stared at the ceiling "I don't have any ring because i dont have any ring and I don't know how to perform that magical spell for a sunlight ring" she said

(Maybe we can use this as their next quest. To find someone to spell her ring or for someone to teach her of that spell.)

"You don't have any silver bullets, do you?" He asked, thinking that that would be pretty convenient. "How about silver tipped stakes or something?" He scratched his head as he tried to think of the things the werewolves are weak to. All he could think about was silver. "Can you do transfiguration?"

(Yes that's what I was thinking loool!!)

Still sitting in the couch, Natalie turns around at Sebastian which is behind her, looking for weapons. "I don't have any silver bullets or silver tipped stakes, I'm not rich to afford those things" she laughed "But what's transfiguration?" she curiously asked.

(Great minds think alike! lol!)

"Transfiguration...is like the one in that magical book about magics and witches? That book with the boy with the scar?" Maybe they don't do that kind of thing in reality. Maybe it was just fiction and he just made a fool of himself. Red staining his cheeks, he tried to sound casual about it.

"You know...when you change one object into another?"

"Oh? Never heard of it?" Natalie said, confused. "Anyway, since doesn't have anything we can have to kill those werewolves, we just need to leave this house. The best thing we can do is probably go to the city." she said.

"But we need to wait for night time." He pointed at her. "You don't have a ring, you can't go. Or you'll be burned to crisp." With a sigh, he settled himself on the couch once again. "Let's just hope we can get out of here before a werewolf arrives." He sighed. He just hopes his skills would be enough to protect them both.

"Same" Natalie sighs. Natalie felt guilty for being so weak, she wanted to tell him to just go and save himself but it would be no use since he will resist. Natalie sits down at the table and put out her grimoire "Well, we can burn this house, a lot of werewolves will probably burn and in case if they follow us, they won't be that many" she suggested. While waiting for his response, Natalie opened her grimoire and turned the page to where she last left.
