Kai had his suspicions, but figured he'd ask about it later. Doing so now would cause problems, especially since the children were asleep- then again the two of them made a promise to one another- and if his hunch was right, she broke it. When Violetta denied Kai's statement about her looking different, he simply shrugged it off and smiled. Unfortunately, that didn't just make it all butterflies, rainbows and unicorns. When she asked about his day, Kai chuckled a bit. His day was a breeze, except the diaper part. "Everything was pretty easy. Shouldn't expect much though. We sort of live quite far out from the city, and the kids were angels. Which isn't a surprise. Look at who there father is~ I even managed to go out and get some apples. The tree was covered in them, and some flowers for milady." He said with a smile as he reached into the basket and pulled out a couple roses. "Here you are. It was hard to keep the kids from trying to grab at them, didn't want them destroyed when I gave them to you."​

Violetta

Regardless of her really bad screwup, it seemed like Kai wasn’t making a big deal out of it. At least not for now. He could have a really big temper if he let himself, but he was also really good at masking it and saving it for later. She figured they were probably going to have an argument about it later, so she started stacking some reasonings and arguments in the back of her mind for whenever that happened. If she wanted to, she could look ahead and see which ones would lead to the least conflict, but she hated being cheap like that. Having returned to her goddess form, she was made aware again of all of time and how it was constantly running through her head, so it was a little hard to ignore those argument timelines after having been human for a bit. But that wasn’t what mattered now. It seemed like Kai wanted to have a nice time for the moment, and that was more than okay with her. “That’s great to hear,” she smiled, glad to know that Kai was doing well with taking care of the kids. Domestic life had never really been Violetta’s style, so she was actually quite glad that Kai had offered to take care of the kids. Not that she would be an absentee mother of course, but it wasn’t her favorite thing to do. She loved her kids, but was excited for when they would be older and easier to deal with. He mentioned having gotten some apples, and flowers for her, and without even meaning to her form had changed from her working one to her normal goddess one, and she excitedly leaned forward and grabbed on to the flowers, holding them delicately in her hands. “Roses! You remembered my favorite!” She grinned widely before kissing him on the cheek. “You are the absolute best. I love you.” It was the little things like this that really made Violetta appreciate Kai. With who she was, it was hard to find someone who could connect with her and understand her, so Kai meant everything to her, and she could only hope he knew it.​

Mitsu couldn't help but giggle at his question. "pff no. There's no reason to when I can literally make anything I want. Even money." She said and to prove herself she held out a hand and a small stack of 100 dollar bills appeared in her hand with a cuff of paper that had 20,000 written on it signifying the stack of 100 added up to that much.


Giggling thana nodded. "Annabelle most likely already has the little devil knowing her." Thana said before giggling more as she looked through her clothes. Soon finding a nice looking outfit she held it up for him to see. "What do you think?" She asked Hayate

Viana came up from under the water with a gasp of air as more steam rolled off her. Coughing a little as she heard Satoshis question to if she was alright. "Y-yeah im alright. Just...... need to get out." Viana said as she started back in the direction she was sure the shore was. The other girls and Aya had all quickly come to the edge of the cloud of steam and where all yelling in to see if satoshi and Viana where alright. "Big brother!!!! Are you two alright?!" Aya called in worry while Nira and Brii quickly went to shore just as Viana came out of the cloud. Steam flooding off her arms and legs as as she waded for shore. Once they she instantly started to pull off her thy boots and long gloves fully exposing her arms and legs. Nira and Brii running to her aid as Viana spoke. "Don't worry guys im alright..... Just need to heat up a little." She told the girls as she got onto her hands and knees and breathed heavily. In response her arms and legs started to glow more steam flooding off while the sand underneath her hands and feet quickly turned to a glass.


"Yes mama!" Hina said happily as she let go of her sister and slithered into the bathroom. "Ame you can shower first." Hina said as she slid in front of the mirror and started to look over her wreak of hair that came from sleeping.

Hayate had grabbed his usual attire. His orange jacket and black pants, along with his cloak. "It looks nice. Then again, you always look nice to me." He said, smiling a bright smile to his wife. "Anyways, I guess we'll be going out for drinks then since Annabelle already has the baby. Not too many though, don't wanna go to this dinner drunk. That'd give off a bad vibe. Or impression in general, seeing as how I've never met them." He said, chuckling a bit.


Satoshi let out a sigh of relief once he heard Viana's voice. He hadn't come out of the smoke yet, so he didn't meet up with the rest of the group as they were tending to her. Once he did, he had just made it over to them to hear Viana say she needed a moment to heat up once again. "How long do you think that'd take?" He asked curiously. "Don't want you missing out on the rest of the day, and well our little chat too..."​

Makoto nodded as she went down an aisle that had dog-related products. She figured that since the wolf can change its size, a regular bowl can suffice. True, she was getting the weird looks Akane noticed, but she didn't mind. She thought that it was pretty uncommon but not rare to see these sorts of events. She noticed she should've gotten a cart so she went back to get a cart and placed the bowl inside cart. After that she picked out two bags that were the same brand and placed them in the cart under the bowls. She looked at Akane and smiled. "I think this is it."

"Alright." Ayame said as she went to the bathroom and began to brush her teeth. She preferred to brush her teeth first before entering the shower because then she didn't have to get her mouth all dirty from the tooth paste. After she finished brushing her teeth, she started the shower and went to prepare her clothes and sat them on the bed. She set her towel next to the shower and then took off her clothes before entering the warm shower. Kikuri, just went back downstairs to check on Miyuki to see how she liked the breakfast.

Akane didn't say anything after that. She silently followed behind Makoto, waiting to see what she picked out for her new pet. Once she had everything she felt she was going to need, Akane took out her card and walked over to the counter handing it to the cashier. She then paid for everything and stretched, "Ready to get up out of here?"

Myuki had already finished her meal and was laying sprawled out of the couch on her chest facing away from the stairs. "That was a yummy breakfast." Ansom chuckled at her daughter's show of power. "Yes, you can." He then shook his head a bit and sighed. "I just thought you may have gotten one to pass the time. Don't you ever get bored being able to do whatever you want when you want? I know I do." He laughed and shrugged. "Granted...I've been alive much longer than you have but still...."

Niri asked in worry while Brii and Sacchi sat in front of her mesmerized by her arms. Aya was the last over and came just in time to hear Satoshi say something about him talking to Viana later. Smirking as she came up by his side. Elbowing his arm a couple times as she spoke quietly to him. "Whats this conversation eh big brother?" She asked in a teasing tone to him

Akane didn't say anything after that. She silently followed behind Makoto, waiting to see what she picked out for her new pet. Once she had everything she felt she was going to need, Akane took out her card and walked over to the counter handing it to the cashier. She then paid for everything and stretched, "Ready to get up out of here?"

"Of course!" She said as she placed the bowls into a bag. The two huge bags of dog food however, couldn't be placed in the same bag as the bowls since it wouldn't fit. Instead she the put the cart back where she found it and hung the bag around her arm as she carried the two food bags in each arm. It didn't weigh as much as the guns she usually used, so she was pretty fine with holding them up. Sure, she got some extremely odd looks but shrugged it off as she walked over to Akane and joked for a bit. "These people have not seen the sun I bet."

 

[CasualTea]

Hina busied her self trying to tame her hair in the bathroom mirror while waiting for Ayame to finish her shower. Kikuri smiled as she went over to the couch and sit on the tiny space Miyuki left over. "I'm glad you liked it babe. The kids are getting ready now, so we should be able to go in an hour or so." Kikuri explained to Miyuki while placing a hand on her head to pat it. After ten minutes, Ayame had finished her shower and stepped out of the shower, wrapping herself in her towel. She looked down and noticed her breasts were growing so she thought she would need to get new bras soon. She looked at Hina and smiled, soon filling the room with her soft voice. "Alright, it's your turn now."

Ansom frowned a bit. "Okay, I get that I'm old." He sighed and moved his arm away from Mitsu, opting to cross it with his other across his chest. "No need to rub it in." He cleared his throat and shook his head and laughed. "So when will I get to see your little girl again?"

Alejandro hadn't noticed Astrid turned to face the other way when he had come to lie down. But he noticed she was hugging the pillow when he did. It almost made him want to put his arms around her, and cuddle her to help her relax and show that he wasn't going anywhere. No. It wasn't something he almost wanted to do. He wanted to do it, but he was too nervous to. What if she didn't want to? And what if she was already calm enough with him just being here? He was starting to overthink the situation again, something he did too much. Sighing lightly he just remained quiet until he heard Astrid say something, turning to face him. He then rolled onto his side, having been laying on his back the entire time. Now he was face to face with her. All he could do was smile, a soft heartfelt smile.

As she began to apologize for him getting hurt, and taking the blame for it, his smile slowly began to disappear... But not for long. It made him happy that she cared, but it wasn't her fault. The situation wasn't in their control. He then moved his hands towards Astrid's and placed them onto her's. "And I'd do it again if it meant helping you. Even if I know I can't win, I'll still go to help you. A life of someone with their heart in the right place is worth more than anything, so if we were out there right now, and something was going to happen to you, I'd make sure it wouldn't even if it costs me an arm, leg, or even my own head. I'm just some rich kid, but you gave me something money can't truly buy. Friendship, and eventually love." He said, looking Astrid in the eyes. "So don't blame yourself for my injuries. Besides, the headstrong, over confident Astrid... The one that'd hit me upset the head with her sniper rifle for saying what I just said... Where's that Astrid at? As much as I like the cute little soft Astrid, it's just not the same." Alejandro added, moving one of his hands and placing it on Astrid's head, his smile even brighter than before. "Tomorrow we'll meet up with Hyou and Sky, and maybe we can do something fun. Something to take our mind off of our troubles and spend a day like usual teenagers... Not battle ready warriors. Sounds nice?"​

Astrid had a hard time keeping her eyes on Alejandro's, the guilt from events with Perfect steadily growing in her mind and heart. God, when did Alejandro get under her skin like this? She had already apologized and yet here she was doing it again. She curled a bit against the pillow when she saw his smile falter, her eyes dropping down away from his. It didn't stay away for long, only until Alejandro had placed his hands on hers. They were warm and soft, but strong and protective at the same time. She looked at him as he explained how he would always help her out no matter what happened to him. In her mind, it was strange to know that someone cared about her so much. It wasn't a luxury she was allowed to have back home, not even from her family. Yet here Blue was, caring about her more than he seemed to care about himself. As he mentioned that because of her he was able to find love, Astrid found herself abandoning the pillow and pushing herself toward Alejandro, hugging herself into his chest. She was allowed to do this now, right? "You've gotten into my head, I can't help but be this way around you, especially when it's just us." She responded to his question about where the old headstrong Astrid went. "You've brought out a side of me that I've never let anyone else see, so you better take responsibility." She mumbled into his chest, snuggling into it as she did. Her eyes closed as she felt his hand on her head, the feeling giving her a sense of calm. And for her tired and broken body, it was a welcome feeling. Blue's suggestion of going out somewhere fun with Hyou and Sky definitely sounded like a good idea, and she nodded tiredly against him. "I'd like that. I think we all need it. A-and... it could be our first date." Neither of them could see it in the darkness of the room, but Astrid blushed hard at the thought, even with how tired she was.​

Hyou took a deep breath, closing his eyes before opening them again and his smile returning. His blush remained as he looked down at his girlfriend. Even when she wasn't trying to be, she had to be the most beautiful woman that this place had to offer. History itself. She may say she has flaws, but he sure as hell didn't see them. And he never would. Smart. Forgiving. Loving. She was everything Hyou could ever ask for. Though he'd never forgive himself, she forgave him and that made him love her even more. She's even cried for his aid. Hyou wasn't sure if he was nervous or just simply scared now. Putting that aside, his hair slowly fell from his back as he leaned in towards her. "So be it then." He said in response to her telling him to show her. At this point his hair was now covering both of their faces as he started to kiss Skylar once again, his hands still on her waist. He had realized it was one of her weaker spots from before when he had kissed her. The way she had reacted to what was happening only a moment ago only confirmed for Hyou what was going to happen. He was started to move his hands even lower now, down her waist and to her thighs. Hyou then pulled away from the kiss to catch his breath, smiling down at Skylar as he moved on of his hands up under her top and slowly traced her spine with his fingertips, and once he reached the strap of her bra, he stopped and chuckled a bit. "Heheh... I'll start here." He said with a smile before his other hand made its way up her back to meet her bra strap. Hyou went in for another kiss as he started to unhook it, his smile remaining the entire time he did this. As much as he was enjoying this, there as something more to it that he didn't quite understand other than the feeling of it just feeling... Right. Needed. That's probably what is was. The feeling to need to be closer to her on an even deeper intimate level. He was happy to admit that and continued to do as he did until he was tossing one of her undergarments to the floor, and next was his own shirt, and then Skylar's. Progress into something was being made here. Something they needed.

Skylar

It didn't take long for Skylar to lose track of the time. Hyou had this magical way of making her lose all sense of the world around her and only focus on him, and by the gods did he do that. She wasn't sure how he did it, but somehow he knew exactly it was what she wanted and needed, not that she was complaining of course. There was something different about their interactions this time, some kind of urgency that was felt between the two of them. A sense of intimacy they both needed with each other. With what happened with Perfect and having been absorbed for about three days, the only place that Skylar wanted to be was by Hyou's side. Ever since the hospital, he made sure that he was always by her side if he could be, and that was one of the many reasons why she loved him as much as she did. She knew that Hyou still felt guilty about how they first met, but it wasn't something she'd ever blame him for, or hold against him. And besides, it was how he treated her moving forward that really mattered. He did his best to take care of her, and this night was no exception. By the end, Skylar was breathless and physically spent, but feeling... good. All of the negative feelings from her nightmare or from dealing with Perfect were gone. It was just the two of them. Skylar was snuggled into Hyou's side, one free hand stroking his hair. This was her happy place, being here with Hyou. On the other hand, however, Skylar was blushing up a storm, still a little unable to believe what it was that they had just done. She wouldn't deny that there was a part of her that always wanted to do that with him, but it wasn't something she ever really had the courage to think about. Apparently all it took was an traumatic event to make her okay with it. And if she was honest with herself... it was really nice. Maybe just because of what it was, or maybe because it was with Hyou. Either way, Skylar was happy. "I love you." she spoke aloud, hoping that Hyou was still awake to hear it.​

Diana repeatedly sent blows into the persons chest, she didn't even know who he was but she kept kicking, continuous cracking noises and groaning and the spitting of blood went over and over again as she started to feel her energy draining. His friends who were only a couple of meters away kept groaning in pain front he broken ribs that they sustained and one of them was leaning up against a wall, "You're... A... Fucking... Monster..." He said in a low voice as Diana stopped kicking. Slowly moving over to him before she picked him up by his neck, her metal arm groaning as wires hissed around in her arm, they got her good there, "You're... All bastards... attacking me... for no reason!" She yelled the last part so loud it made the guy cringe from him hearing someone yell so close to his ears.

As dropped him harshly as he groaned and laid flat before she began kicking him, she felt the world begin to grow dark around her but kept on kicking him in his chest, feeling the nauseating crunch of bones in her foot.

Kansuke

Kansuke couldn't help but smile in relief at hearing Mizuki's words. Part of his hesitation did come from the fact that she was a princess, but part of it came from the fact that he just had a hard time making friends at all. It felt like there was never a chance to just settle down and have a normal life, if he was honest with himself. There was always some kind of "calling", so domestic life never seemed to come easy. It wasn't like he never had friends at all, but they were more often few and far between. And despite her royal status, it didn't help that their main interactions were happening right now, forced to happen due to not-so-good circumstances. They probably would have gotten to know each other at school if this hadn't have happened, but there was no guarantee that they'd actually spend time together. If anything, this would be a good bonding experience. "Me either," Kansuke admitted, looking forward at the sky. He noticed the darkening of the clouds, distracting his thoughts. "Ah, it looks like it's going to rain." Not much longer after he made the comment did raindrops start falling down around them. Quickly, Kansuke began surveying his surroundings, trying to find them some shelter. Eventually he sighted a tree, and grabbed Mizuki's arm and started running toward it, only stopping once they were under it's shade. Exhaling, he let go of her arm, turning to face her once more. "Ah, sorry about that, I didn't want you to get wet." he apologized, walking to the edge of the tree's shelter to feel the rate of the downpour. "Looks like it'll be like this for a while." he sighed, stepping back under the shelter. With not much else they could do, he slung his bag off his shoulder and laid it against the tree's strong trunk. In the same motion, he unsheathed his sword, walking to give himself some space. "Since we've got some time, I probably should practice while I've got the chance. I'm a little rusty since school started, I didn't really get a chance to train at all, what with classes and everything." He grinned over at Mizuki before focusing in front of his, steadying his blade. Kansuke began to practice the different moves that he knew, making sure that he was confident in his ability to perform one before moving on to the next.​

Her gaze softened a little when he had admitted he was on the same boat with friend making, looking to the path ahead of her, she guessed she was glad hearing it, it brought her some sort of relief that she wasn't the only one the metaphorical boat. She too moved her gaze to the sky after Kansuke had mentioned rain, noting the clouds were threatening to pour down with their darkening colours. "Seems like it" she said as the drops started to fall "Or rather. It's happening we should probably fi-" she had been mid-sentence when Kansuke and spotted the tree and dragged her off towards it, he luckily didn't take off so quick as to trip her up or make her lose her footing, but it did surprise her a little.

Once under the shelter of the tree she shook her head in response to his words "No, no. It's quite alright" she assured him as she found a dry spot to sit near the tree's trunk, smiling and tilting her head when he had grinned. She took her seat and watched him with intrigue. She had seen guards practice their swordsmanship in the castle grounds regularly but normally from afar, like from her window, never actually up close like this. After a while of silence she spoke, resting her hands on her knees "You seem very skilled, where did you learn?" She asked, pausing for a moment "Sorry if I ruined your concentration..." She added after the pause, offering a sheepish smile.

Waving goodbye to his twin after his daily check on her, he had left the area outside of the girls dorms. Honestly he'd panic if he didn't do that, the girl being the way she was, god knows where she would end up without realising. Luckily she was alright, still in one piece after her previous day out, he was afraid she'd wander home alone or something. He strolled along slowly and quietly as he entered the courtyard, which looked okay but he felt something was off...and he couldn't put his finger on what. The closer he got he could hear odd noises, his amber eyes narrowing as he tried to listen further. His feet sort of subconsciously carried him in the direction of the noise, he knew this wasn't in his head. He could normally tell when things were just him seeing things he wasn't supposed to.

Hearing the girl shouting her reached the corner of one of the school buildings. He peered around it to see some kind of fight going on, his eyes widening as he saw it. Fights weren't uncommon here but this one was pretty grim, with two guys already slumped onto the ground and the other still fighting on with a girl. He stared for a moment realising the boy was someone he recognised, a boy from his class, it had just been hard to tell with his beat up face. "What the- hey! HEY!" he called out approaching the two "Stop! Stop!" He called, his eyes going black for a brief moment as he did so. This caused the boy to let a scream and try to scramble back, muttering a "What the hell!" As Elliot had stood between the two "Elliot! What the shit, you keep your freaky mind stuff out of my head, she's the one kicking me! It's not even your business" He croaked out, unaware that Elliot had heard the girl accuse him of starting it and assuming he had only messed with him and not the girl. Elliot had actually used his powers on both trying to stun them, but it had done nothing to the female whatsoever it seemed, which honestly made him panic a bit because he was banking on that stun so that he wouldn't end up being some sort of sacrifice. "I-I'm not with them" he said waving his hands to make sure she wouldn't mistake him as another part of the group she had been attacked by.

Waving goodbye to his twin after his daily check on her, he had left the area outside of the girls dorms. Honestly he'd panic if he didn't do that, the girl being the way she was, god knows where she would end up without realising. Luckily she was alright, still in one piece after her previous day out, he was afraid she'd wander home alone or something. He strolled along slowly and quietly as he entered the courtyard, which looked okay but he felt something was off...and he couldn't put his finger on what. The closer he got he could hear odd noises, his amber eyes narrowing as he tried to listen further. His feet sort of subconsciously carried him in the direction of the noise, he knew this wasn't in his head. He could normally tell when things were just him seeing things he wasn't supposed to.

Hearing the girl shouting her reached the corner of one of the school buildings. He peered around it to see some kind of fight going on, his eyes widening as he saw it. Fights weren't uncommon here but this one was pretty grim, with two guys already slumped onto the ground and the other still fighting on with a girl. He stared for a moment realising the boy was someone he recognised, a boy from his class, it had just been hard to tell with his beat up face. "What the- hey! HEY!" he called out approaching the two "Stop! Stop!" He called, his eyes going black for a brief moment as he did so. This caused the boy to let a scream and try to scramble back, muttering a "What the hell!" As Elliot had stood between the two "Elliot! What the shit, you keep your freaky mind stuff out of my head, she's the one kicking me! It's not even your business" He croaked out, unaware that Elliot had heard the girl accuse him of starting it and assuming he had only messed with him and not the girl. Know... Them...?" She said in a tired and husky voice as she turned around, a large pool of blood staining her clothes as a piece of metal stuck out from her stomach, "You... Want... A piece... of me...?" She said in a tired voice as she stumbled slightly holding onto her wound before she fell to her knees holding herself up with her hands.

"Don't... test... me..." She said in a husky voice again straining to stay awake before black enveloped her view, "God... dammit..." She said before she collapsed onto her back, her eyes straining to keep open, "I'll... kill you.... bastards..." She said straining again before she feel into a deep sleep, knocking herself out from blood loss and loss of energy from straining herself.​

 

[Nona]

Daniel laughed as he flew close to Ariel to keep it a tight race with her as they quickly climbed the mountain. Soon a massive cave came into view near the top of the mountain and daniel called to Ariel. "Head for the cave Ariel!!" He called to her

Ariel had been flapping her wings like crazy to keep up, with her father as they flew, nodding as he mentioned the cave "Alrighty!" She called as she headed full speed for the cave.

He had managed to eventually lift her up and began on his way to help her to the school infirmary.

So don't you dare start telling me what to d-" She cuts herself off by hissing out curses as she grabs onto the nearest item she can, trying to steady herself by using the bed as support, the fact she only had one arm didn't make it any easier to do as well as the fact she was now standing on wobbly legs.

He mumbled as he walked across to the other side of the room where the nurses had left it on top of one of the cabinets, he couldn't quite recall why the nurses removed it in the first place he was too preoccupied with worrying a bout the amount of blood loss the girl had had. In fact, by the time he had gotten her there a lot of it had gotten on him as well, which was why his jacket was tossed into the back of the chair he had sat on, stains still on it. He lifted the arm off of the cabinet and handed it to the girl. She sure as hell didn't seem like she'd be cool with him helping to put it back on so he didn't attempt to do so. "I, uh, carried you here. I honestly thought you were going to bleed out or something before I'd reach here..." He said scratching his face a bit "The nurses all rushed out and patched you up luckily, they said you need to just really take it easy for a while..." His gaze still hadn't fully found itself focusing on the girls eyes, he had problems with such things. "As for the guys they scrambled off somewhere...I didn't see where, sorry" he admitted with a quiet sigh.

Celaena

The sun had all but set, and the night air was starting to gain a bit off a chill to it. The walk seemed to take the edge off a bit, though not by much, and she was glad that there was some kind of indication that they were nearing their destination. Celaena was well-attuned to nature herself obviously, so she could tell when nature had been messed with or manipulated, and it seemed that her senses were not entirely dulled her on earth either. So as they approached the moat, she had a feeling that this was the area in which Ayen had made his home, as evidenced by her sensing his terraforming. It also helped that she could feel his energy imbued in the area, feeling it a bit stronger with every step she took. As they reached the top, she noticed Ayen's invitation of his hand, smiling as she extended her own in response. "Right. I am not the one we should be concerned about at the moment anyways. Thank you, I would appreciate not falling at this moment." The dusk's beauty did not escape Celaena either, noting how her hair really stood out against the dark setting around them. She hadn't even noticed the lake until they reached the top, marveling at how pristine and beautiful it was being flanked by the remaining bits of sunlight. The fae had no idea of Ayen's children, not even really thinking about why his house was built the way it was. Giving it another look, she did notice it's size, but figured that living large was how Ayen just liked to live. He was fan of living comfortably, after all. "I can see that," she teased, playfully squeezing the hand he had offered. It felt nice being reunited with Ayen, it was almost as if they had never been separated at all. "I also have a preference for that world as well, though it seems you have brought a bit of home here with you." She responded, referring to how similar the designs of Ayen's created abode was to the way that homes back in Fae were made. Not that she minded, it was nice to see something even remotely close to resembling anything from Fae. "Child's play for you, perhaps. I do not think I would be able to carry him like you are right now." She laughed a bit, glancing back at the redhead on his shoulder, still trying to work out exactly what was going on with him.​

Ayen​

Ayen grasped Celaena's hand and beckoned her forward with himself. Normally one would have fallen stepping over the edge of a moat, but Ayen had, without a thought, pulled moister from the air. Enough to form a bridge of winter white ice from one side of the channel to the other. Indeed, it was from constant flaunting of his ability and vanity to those lesser, those weaker than himself over the years that such actions had become second nature to himself. However, that was not the intention this time. It was the fact that he had already walked so far to get home with the unconscious Kenji on his shoulder. His stubbornness dictated that flying at this point would be pointless, especially for something so small. Even so, Ayen had to both tease and test Celaena. "Are you sure? Wasn't there a time when a less eloquent girl would have jumped at the opportunity?" The words rolled smoothly off his tongue as Ayen shepherded them across the frozen crystalline bridge before it started to melt. Though as much as they were teasing, Ayen had to make sure he wasn't fooling himself with her, so he had to mention something that would have brought up often enough for others to hear. And remembering how Ayen and Celaena both didn't bring up she was a bumkin before, it seemed to be a good point. As Ayen walked towards the cabin as he liked to call it, even though it would be humble to call it a small manor, the sloshing of water could be heard from the lake. Even so, Ayen stopped at the door to speak in a regretful tone. "Normally, someone entering my home for the first time would get a tour, I hope you can forgive me, but this guy needs my attention more." He gave an apologetic smile as he let go of Celaena's hand to open the door and proceed to make a B-line to the closest guest room to set Kenji down. As Ayen did that, he spoke an activation word for one of the magics layered into his home that lit all the candles in the house along with the fireplace.​

When she handed her the arm she quickly took it and placed in the empty space next to her before her arm returned to covering her chest, letting out a sigh she shuffled uncomfortably in the bed as she noticed all the wires still connected to her, "Can you... help... with my arm..." She said lowering her head as her face was now red as a tomato, "Or just... maybe give me something to cover myself..." She said lowly as she looked back at him, her bright teal eyes having a hint of silver flash continuously through them as they calibrated themselves.​

He was more intrigued by her sudden change in demeanour, tilting his head at her colouring cheeks for a moment before realising he hadn't answered her "R-Right, yeah. Let me just..." he narrowed his eyes for a moment, looking around the room before shrugging and pulling off the sweater he was wearing, smoothing out the t-shirt he was wearing underneath before passing the sweater to her "Sorry, I hope that works okay for you, it's all I have..." He nodded at her instructions, lifting the arm and moving it to pop into the socket like she had asked. Her comment and evil grin had caught him completely off guard causing him to awkwardly stammer for a moment "A-Ah, okay yeah, that would have been a good start uhm. I'm Elliot" he said before continuing too pop the arm and socket together, "Sorry if this hurts..." He said quietly before he had clicked the two together taking a step back when he was done. Diana smiled lightly at him with his name, "Nice to meet you Elliot, I'm Dian-" She was cut off when her arm clicked into her socket as the blush and smile disappeared and she hissed out in pain as her other arm shot to the other as quick as lightning holding onto it, "Never... Going to get used... to that..." She hissed out before she began testing her arm out by moving it around, "As I was saying," She said slightly pissed at how much it hurt her, "My names Diana Young, pleasure to meet you," She said giving a smile towards him. The jumper had since fallen off her onto the bed and it was only bandages covering her chest.​
